In the aftermath of the 2024 election, America is even more divided than before. Half the country fears the end of democracy and the other half welcomes it. As America inches toward the brink of authoritarian rule, now more than ever, we must force ourselves to have the necessary conversation. Welcome to the necessary conversation. I'm Chad Cton. me is my sister from Parts Unknown and my parents who are both deep in the mag. Oh, you can see my mom is wearing a Trump hat today. Hello, mom. Nice hat. Thank you. We're going to be talking about all the biggest political issues of this week. But before we do that, I wanted to say I get a lot of questions about what was my mom and dad like before Trump? What are their political backgrounds? Where did they grow up? I want to point everybody listening to this right now or watching this right now, you can go back and listen to our first three episodes which are primarily all about that. They're individual interviews with me and my mom, me and my dad, me and my sister about our political histories, what it was like growing up, etc., etc. Those are only on audio podcast. We didn't start doing video for this show until about halfway through it. But you can go back anywhere you listen to podcasts, listen to those first three episodes. I think that will answer a lot of those kind of preliminary questions about who we are as people, what our family dynamic is like, etc. Mom, your diddy this week involves a place called Little Mike's Hambeard Gears. Yes. Yes. I have two diddies uh before that. Is that okay? They're quick. Let's go. Uh, number one, we have a very important guest coming in like maybe toward the maybe toward the end of the podcast podcast, but and then he's going to stay and watch Kitty Cat so Bob and I can go see Shiny. So, thank you very much, Roman. Number two, Thunder Up. Last game tonight, 7 o'clock. Uh, they're playing the Pacers and this will be for the championship. So, Thunder Up. This town has gone crazy. Okay. Now, introduce me again, Chad, please. Okay. So, you and dad went to a little place uh in Oklahoma to eat hamburgers. I'm going to throw some images up as my mom describes this event. This is called Little Mike's Hamburgers. And don't forget our friend Jules, who is a paramedic in Norman, was with us. She's in some of these photos, too. I hope you have her permission to use them. Yes, I do. I always do. So, this is Little Mike's hamburgers. They are known for uh obviously made in the USA. There you can see. But they do this. They they stamp the word Trump on the hamburger buns. Yes. And it's not always Trump. He uh during the election before he was elected, he had Trump Vance. He had MAGA wins. And then when the day we were there, it was Trump. Different proTrump phrases. Here's a an image of my dad with little Mike there. The most kind man, the restaurant. Okay, Patriot. Here is a picture of all of you together. Yep. Little Mike Bers. OKC. We love him and his food. Mom, you printed on that image. That's our friend Jules. And she's a MAGA, too. Huge MAGA. And she's young. She's like 25. Was the good? What? Was the food good? Excellent. Tell them what you had. There's mom enjoying her. But what prank was it? Trump burger. Burger. Buffalo. Buffalo. There. They have buffalo. They have regular meat hamburgers with onions on them that that are excellent. That's why people come. Do we have any Oh, and there's Trump and Trump. And he also has a wall of Trump paraphernalia in the store. And that's where I got my hat. No, it's the shrine. Oh, he sells it. Judge sent that one. Okay. Well, we got a hat there. And we also keep flipping pictures and I'll show you a Yeah, that was after we ate. He came to our table, talked to us for like 10 to 15 minutes, told us all kinds of stories, and then um I what the big deal is about his place right now. This business has been open since the late 70s, but um let's see, it was a senator. Who was the senator? Blangford. Blangford. Our Oklahoma senator Blangford came in there and ate with his wife, I think. From there, he went back to DC and told Trump about it. So, um, Trump made a call and it was a video call and straight to Mike and said, you know, how great it was and that if he's ever in Oklahoma City, he's going to come into his place. Cool. So, it was a very special shout out from from Trump. Then that was shown on TV here and from that Mike got a lot more business. Okay. Um, he is located. I want to tell it where his address is just in case anybody in the Oklahoma City area hasn't been in, you need to go. It's really great food. Um, he's the most sincere guy ever. His address is 6724 Northwest Expressway in Oklahoma City. But the thing that really stuck out, I asked him, "When did you become a Trump supporter?" And he said the day that he came down the elevator escalator on that particular day. And I said, "Well, why? What made you do the, you know, stamp the Trump and all that?" And he said, "There's a point where you have to make a commitment." And he said, "I made one. I went on on the limb for it, and that's my belief." All right? And it reminded me of Haley in her bakery, how she does it on the other side of politics. She's way on the left side. He's way on the right. And I want to go back because I didn't know this, but you can bring in like memes and cartoons, anything you want. He places them all the way around um in the restaurant. It was kind of cool. He let us go way in the back and see him stamping. Place is packed. The place was packed. And he went to every table, talked to everyone. He's the most sincere guy. So, uh, for this week I am saluting little Mike and he is the patriot of the week by my mimi by my diddy and my mimies. All right. Well, thank you mom for that submission of the patri week. This will go to little Mike. I've been waiting for us to to have it on so that I can send it to little Mike. All right. Well, I hope little Mike enjoys it. Thank you little Mike for uh I guess participating by proxy in this program. We now are going to begin our show as we do almost every week with a question from a listener. If you want to send us a question, please record it in a one minute or shorter video clip and email it to the necessary conversation [email protected]. Are you ready for this week's question? Yes. Glad you catching flies there. I forgot to show the t-shirt. We bought a t-shirt there. I'm sorry. I need to show this. We bought a little Mike's t-shirt and I love it. All right. It fits so grand. And just to let everybody know, little Mike is not paying my parents to do this. No, no, he's not. He's not. We'll go back in. We'll buy another hamburg hamburger. Fantastic. Here we go. Here's the question. Hi Chad, Haley, Bob, and Maryl. I have a question. It's mostly for Maryl. Um, my question is, I've noticed a lot more in a lot of the newer episodes that there's actually quite a few times where um I feel like Bob maybe has a more extreme view than you do. And um I think I was under the impression that most people who were fairly mega were all very likeminded and kind of all had these same extreme views. Um I guess my question is how do you um view yourself I guess as a mega but still separate from maybe people who praise the murder of people and things like that. Um, and also how do you navigate that in your marriage? And I just really appreciate the conversation you guys bring to the table. So, thank you. I'm from Canada and uh you guys just really interest me in the conversation you guys bring together. All right. So, there's a question. Mom, uh, she essentially was saying, "You and dad have some differing political viewpoints. There are moments in this podcast where you definitely disagree with dad. How do you navigate that in your relationship?" I have my own personal view. Are you Mary Lou? No, you said dad. Oh, no. I said mom. Mom. Oh. Um. See, the problem is we've been married 50 years, so we're kind of one in the same. It is really weird. I I don't view myself as well, we're separate, but after 50 years, you kind of just go all together. Let me let me just ask mom one question. Okay. case. As far as Iran is concerned, are you going to be comfortable with the fact that they survive this or are they going to be annihilated? Annihilated. Okay, we're not different in our opinion. All right, that's that's moving right into our first topic. Let's wait a minute. Wait a minute. I am a little different in that he likes to kill everyone. I don't like to kill people. I don't like to kill people if not needed. But you're willing to. But I'm willing to for our freedom. Okay. So, okay, that was a good question. She was very nice, but I mean like last week there was a point where dad there was a point where dad was berating Haley and saying that her opinion doesn't matter. And you looked right at dad and said, "Yes, it does." It does. Why doesn't your opinion matter? So, you disagree fundamentally on that. Dad, you think Haley's opinion doesn't matter. Mom, you think it does? How do you navigate that? I disagree with dad a lot on a lot of different things. Politics were pretty much close though. Yeah. But we we argue. We argue about things. We're not always on the same page. All right. Uh moving on to our first topic. You kind of alluded to it, Mom. World War III after two weeks of military strikes between Iran and Israel. Trump authorized the United States to enter the conflict despite having run on a campaign of being anti- an anti-war president and promising not to get involved in foreign military conflicts. On Saturday, the anti-war president sent B2 bombers to bomb three nuclear sites in Iran utilizing a 30,000lb bunker buster bomb. The anti-war president described the strikes as spectacular military success and added that the facilities were completely and totally obliterated. Then the anti-war president warned Iran that the US could go after additional targets if Iran does not make peace. These attacks and the initial attacks in Iran by Israel. Uh Netanyahu said they were predicated on claims that Iran was weeks away from having nuclear capabilities. But US National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard said Iran is not actively pursuing a nuclear weapon. And Senate Intel VP Mark Warner stated the intelligence community's position is that Iran is not building a bomb. Military action by the United States. There's more has split the Republican party with people like Lindsey Graham praising the escalation of US involvement while long-term mega strategists like Steve Bannon see it as contradictory to the ideals of American isolationism that Trump ran on. Dad, is this the start of World War II? No, it's the end of the war. Huh? Iran will be bangless, toothless, and they don't want to the people of that country won't want to be annihilated. So, there's going to be a regime change. Yeah, it will change that. It will change everything for Iran will just take the back seat in the bus where they belong. Mom, do you believe this is the beginning of World War II? I don't think we're in World War II yet. I think if Iran makes a wrong move now, we will be and we will blow them off the face of this earth. And I hope it's done quick. Um I've never been so proud to be an American as I was when I read that and saw that. If I was at Whiteman Air Force Base standing there watching those bombers take off, I would be so proud. It It is Why are you looking at me like that, Haley? Why do you realize about five or six five or six days ago um Iran bombed Israel and it came very close to our embassy. I'm not sure if one of our Americans were killed then, but it bombed a bunch of people. Every American that is over there in that vicinity is going to [ __ ] die because of Donald Trump. An American shouldn't be in Iran. Why would American be in Iran? There are military bases in surrounding areas. They're all going to [ __ ] die in Iraq. In Syria, correct? Within within the vicinity of their weapons, they will be able to whatever they can destroy that has to deal with us, they will. Okay. How would take the 40,000 Marines? How would you feel then when I Iran takes the nuclear bomb and hits Israel? Is that okay with you? We cannot let them have nuclear. So that's that's my next question. Mom, do you believe they were weeks away from having a nuclear weapon? Yes, I do. Trump wouldn't have done this if they were not. Yes, I do. I don't. I think he was in a hard spot. He had to do something. A hard spot. A hard spot. Let them nuke Israel and kill those people or he needs to stop the nukes. Dad, do you believe that they were weeks away from having a nuclear weapon? I don't think it matters. They were on their way to getting a nuclear weapon and you got to stop them at some point. He decided that now is that time. And as far as I'm concerned, if Trump thought it was time to go, it was time to go. Like that's that's insane. A reality star literally [ __ ] bombed another country without any kind of involvement from our Congress. If Congress, okay, if if Trump would have went to Congress and sat down and said, "Hey, this is what I want to do." End up with a problem. Iran would have known within one hour his his secrets and what the United States, they already did. He telegraphed it by a couple of days. So, you're saying that he blew up all this stuff? You don't think Iran was like, "Well, we should probably get the enriched uranium out of the places he's mentioning on the news that he's targeting. They can't move it that fast." I mean, you're wrong. What do you mean can't move it that fast? Do they have cars? They didn't know. What are you laughing at? It's enriched uranium. You're so [ __ ] naive. You can take a suitcase full of it and put it in a car and drive away. What are you talking about? They did they didn't know exactly when it was going to occur, but if uh if they went to Congress and said, "We're going to do it tomorrow at this time," then they would have known. He He didn't have they had 48 hours. He soft talked about the two weeks window, but there were two days uh since the strikes. Doesn't matter. Hey, none of this [ __ ] matters that you're talking about. It does. It does. [ __ ] war. The [ __ ] war is over. It doesn't matter. Okay, the war is already over. It doesn't matter. It does matter because I think they were not close to a nuclear missile. I think they did move whatever important stuff they had already developed is somewhere else. I think they blew up three empty buildings. Yeah. Oh my god. Okay. Well, let's remember how we got here, Mr. Chad and Miss Haley. Um Clinton, Hillary supplied Iran with their their uranium to enrich all their nukes. Number one. Number two, Obama gave them 1.7 billion used to fund their nuke pro program. Number three, Biden unfroze them 16 billion bucks toward their nuclear program. And why did any of that happen? How did how did nuclear weapons happen in the first place? The United States of America created them. Why did we create them? Because we have a long history of killing people in war. That's how we take power. But that country, why does war happen? How far do you want to go back in history in humanity? Look at human aggression. That country hates us. They want us all dead. So we flying with all this money and all this stuff to make a nuke to kill us. You're not listening to me at all. You're not listening to me at all. What? If you want to go back in the history listening to you, if you want to go back in the history of humanity and say whose fault is this thing really, you have to go back to the first thought a prehuman creature had to do an act of aggression against another prehuman creature. You have to go back all the way in history to the first version of war. And so in the long string, in the long timeline, all causally chained together, you can't lay the blame at a blip in that chain of human aggression that is Obama or Biden or Hillary Clinton. You cannot do that. Yes, I can. Yes, I can. I blame all three. Great. I blame all three. Okay, let me ask you this. Trump claimed in his most recent campaign that he would bring peace to the Middle East on day one and that he would not get in any conflicts with anyone in that region. Did he break that promise? Mo, he's a [ __ ] liar. Peace through strength. He had to do this or they were going to nuke him. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Peace. He blew up three locations. I'm sure he killed people in that. How do you say that's peace? Probably killed them all. How's that peace through because now they're not there. How is killing people peaceful? Oh, it's definitely peaceful. It's setting the line to say don't come across it or you're going to be blown out more. So then the the shooter that shot Trump in the air, that was peaceful. No, that was I'm going to kill you. He's What do you think dropping bombs on people does? Kills them. He does. And he's not you're killing the right people. They're not forewarned. Trump wasn't forewarned when that guy shot at him. I We have to do this, Chad. He had no other option. He had to do it. Okay. I'm not looking for justification for what he did. I'm looking for you to admit that dropping a bomb on someone is not a peaceful act. Can you admit that? does. You don't think it You don't think dro dropping a bomb on somebody brings peace? You [ __ ] get in your history book and go back, mister. You're out of You're out of frame, mister. When you lean forward like that and you get all revved up, you got to watch out. Make sure your face is in the camera, mister. Listen. Wait, wait a minute. Nope. You turned it the wrong way, Mom. Okay, this what they've done at face value. I get it. You guys see the big bulbs drop and your your orange god comes out and tells you it was a resounding success. So, you have to believe it. I get it. The truth of the matter is this has now created generations of people who are going to want revenge on America. You're going to see terrorist activity increase. It'll cause once we get all this [ __ ] over with, it'll do the same thing. Hey, when's the last time Germany tried to attack the world? Exactly. When's the last time Japan tried to attack the world? Never. Lately. Lately. Okay. One bomb. One bomb took care of all that mess for decades. Let me ask you this. Does this at all, Haley, to you seem reminiscent of the Iraq war, which was predicated on the idea of weapons of mass destruction that we found out never existed. And that got us into a war that lasted how long? 30, 40 years. We were never out of there. The forever war that Trump 30 years. So, we're in a different country and we woke up to that news uh that he had dropped the bombs. And we sat here and talked about it. And that was the first thing out of my mouth. I was like, "Do you even think they had any nukes? Do you even think that that was real?" And it is reminiscent of GW. Um I don't know. Like I I I question everything. I think Trump is a loose cannon. I think all of this was for [ __ ] nothing. I think that he likes to strongarm people and he thinks this will make him look good, but it really just makes him look like a [ __ ] loser. And now everybody all over the I believe in our president. I believe in our country. He did this for a reason. He had no other choice. He had to do it or they were going to nuke Israel. He had any other choice. They weren't threatening us. He did not have to do this. And all of our intelligence, Hang on, hang on a minute. Even Tulsi Gabbard, who is the director of national intelligence under Trump, appointed by him, said they don't have a nuclear weapon. They don't yet. They have the capabilities and it was very close. Okay. So, you Interesting. All right. Moving on to our next topic. We have a lot to get to today. Jesus. The assassin was a Trump voter. This week, authorities apprehended Vance Luther Beltter after a two-day manhunt that ended in the woods. Belter is the prime suspect in the murder of former Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark Hortman. Last week, mom, dad, if you could just not talk while while I'm doing this, listen to what I'm saying because then I ask you questions about it. That's the conversation. Last week, uh you both claimed Bolter was a Democrat. This week, Bolter's longtime friend and roommate revealed that he was a devout Christian who voted for Trump in the most recent election and would be offended if anyone called him a Democrat. Who said that? Huh? Who said that? Quote, his best friend and roommate. Okay. Best friend and roommate. Hearay evidence. Okay. So, dad, you think he was still a Democrat? So, so judge, you can throw that out. Sustain. All right. So, Dad, do you think the Minnesota assassin still is a Democrat? Yes. Mom, do you think he's still a Democrat after everything that's come out? Okay. Last week, yes, I do. And last week, remember I said he served um on that he served as a private sector re representative on that governor's workforce council. He w that was appointed by the fir the other governor uh Dayton in 2016 and then Waltz reappointed him uh when Waltz became governor. So if you appoint someone to to a committee, shouldn't you know who they are? You're missing this whole point. There was a confession letter. Well, do you want to use your hearsay, evidence, or ours? There was a confession letter. They they're calling it a manifesto, but it's in that letter. It's blaming Tim Waltz for his rampage. Uhhuh. Of of the of the death of those two people that he killed. Well, that doesn't sound like a Democrat, does it? There's a rumor going around. They're not for sure. They can't I mean, the two things I've read said they're just talking about it. Maybe his wife was an intern for Waltz. Now, they found her sitting in a car with money, passports, ready to go. Why would she be in a car ready to go? Because Did you read any of this story? He sent her and this best friend a message after he killed uh Hortman and said, "I've made a decision. It's going to have repercussions. I'm sorry to have dragged you guys into this." Him and his wife were doomsday preppers. So, he basically told the wife like, "It's go time." the plan that we had in action. Get the briefcase, get the guns, get the money. And uh that best friend that you think is hearsay also got this message from him saying like, "People are going to come and ask you questions. I'm sorry to involve you. You don't know anything about this." He basically absolved them in this message that he sent. Somehow Tim Waltz is wrapped up in all of this. And on X, there are a bunch of quotes saying Nightmare on Walt Street and that his name keeps popping in and up. So yeah, he's linked to him somehow. Okay. Okay. So, the bottom line is you got hearsay evidence. We supposedly have hearsay evidence and you got to let's move on. Make a decision what you believe. Well, let me ask you this. Why Why are you so afraid to claim him as MAGA? Don't you think what he did was a heroic act? Well, people just No, it just shows. Dad does. Dad likes that. No, I love it. Oh my god. So then why not claim him as MAGA? I would, but he's not. Wow. Can't claim him to be something he's not. And mom, you don't think he is either? No, I think he's a Democrat. Why would he have shot Why would he have shot a Democrat? Uh because she had sided, what I read, she had voted with some Republicans on a certain thing that they didn't want her to vote on. Okay. So, poppity pop. He was terrible. Christian MAGA and [ __ ] insane. What? He was a right-wing conservative Christian maja and [ __ ] insane. There's videos of him giving sermons at these big Christian rallies, but he also was on committees with Tim Waltz. Uh supposedly you knew him. He had a man manif. Okay, let's move on to topic number three. Hegsth is good with the US military shooting civilians. This week, Pete Hegsth testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee where he was questioned about Trump's deployment of the National Guard and the Marines into Los Angeles. Hegsth implied that the Trump administration was ready to send active duty military troops to other cities in the near future. And in perhaps the most shocking moment of the hearing, Senator Alyssa Slotkin asked Hegsth whether he'd given the US troops orders to shoot unarmed civilians, and he outright declined to answer. Slotkin then said he lacked the quote guts and balls of his predecessor, Trump's prior Secretary of Defense, who did not indulge Trump's request to have civilians shot. Dad, would you be okay with US troops shooting unarmed US citizens? Absolutely. Why? Because if you're if you're against us, you're against us. And this is this is Hey, this I told I told you to years ago this was gonna happen. Who? Now it's happening. Now it's happening. And you guys are I mean bottom line is all you Democrats are nothing but cowards. I'm not a Democrat. I'm not either. Oh yeah, you are. Yeah, you are. It's just hearsay when we say literally what our own beliefs are. That's not You're either Republican or a Democrat now. No, you're not. That's not true. There is no in between. We're sitting right here telling you there is. Pick a side and fight for it. If you yell, you're going to wake her up. Pick a side and fight for it. Neither one of you will. What side are you guys on? What are you talking about? Humanity. Yeah, there's no side. The sides are fake. The sides have been made by super rich people. The the very top, the elite. They want you again. Just listen to me. Hey, listen. Instead of dismissing me and rolling your eyes andah, listen to what I'm saying. Just listen to this. Hey, I've been listening to what you're saying for two years and I'm sick of it. Mom, will you listen to it? I'm listening. The idea that there are only two teams and that you must violently hate the other team is a manufactured ideology created by the ultra rich elite to keep you fighting us, to split families apart, to do exactly what's happening on this podcast, to to make you look the other way when they start to implement these authoritarian measures of control because they're on your side. But you know how that ends. The only side there is really is the rich side and everybody else. The ultra rich control everything. And they're getting you to wear that hat to say, "Look what team I'm on. Your whole identity now is wrapped up in this fake thing they made." You guys are laughing. Right behind you is a [ __ ] shrine that has Trump cologne, sneakers, hats, whatever. No, there is nothing behind us. You're eating food stamped with his name. It's in front of us. It's in the other room. Okay. I don't agree with you, Chad, that the ultra rich and all that you're spewing that. I don't believe your bull I don't believe your billionaire [ __ ] Who do you think owns Newsmax that you watch? Uh, actually the people because they're doing millions of people own Newsmax. Yeah, they're doing they sold the shares of stock to shares. There's not a billionaire at the top of that media corporation. Probably they're doing shares. Okay. And he doesn't own he doesn't own the company. Well, are you going to wake her up and I'm going to be in trouble? And when you guys buy these shares, who do you think gets the money from that sale? The company, right? Who pays a salary to the CEO? Right. Sure. From the money you've given them. Oh god, look at him trail that money down. He's You guys have money. You guys have money. He's so [ __ ] stupid. You guys have money. So why would you like All right, smart guy. Who's the largest shareholder of Newsmax and how many shares does he have? Ask. Is it Bob Culture? 10.2 million shares. Alexa, who owns the most shares in Newsmax? It's probably Trump. Who is it? Oh, she didn't know that one. She doesn't know that one. She never knows. Why don't you tell me who is it? I can Google it. Do you not know the answer to this? I thought you had some point to make. No. No, there's a point to make. Okay. As soon as we as soon as we get the answer, I'll go be right. Great. Let me ask you this. You guys are for uh Hegath saying he will give the order for US soldiers to shoot civilians. Mom, are you for that, by the way? What? You for uh US soldiers shooting American civilians? If it's for our freedom, if they're attacking, for why would that be for your freedom? Why would that be for your freedom? That makes no sense. Okay, hang on. Hang on, Mom. No, this is interesting. You just said that's fine if it's for our freedom. Yet, when Ashley Babbot gets shot, you say, "This is a travesty." That was literally defending lawmakers in the Capitol building. No, it wasn't. Oh my god. Every time he comes back to that. No, it wasn't. She She was standing there and got shot in the [ __ ] neck by some [ __ ] halfass cop who just wanted to be on TV. Okay, let me ask you this. Let's say Haley's out at a protest and heth gives the order kill civilians and theoretically Haley gets shot and killed by a US Marine. Who do you support? Who do you support in that? Should not have been there. Why did I'm asking a question? Do you think that that US Marines I can do about it? If she's if she's stupid enough to go to a protest where there could be a conflict with US Marines, you get what's going to come to you. So, you better stay home and shut your pie hole. So, you're on the You don't care if I die, but you understand that that is a first amendment right protected by the Constitution. You can go protest. not setting fire to buildings and throwing rocks and [ __ ] at Marines. Okay, all right, let's let's flip this coin over. What happens if Haley goes to that protest, picks up a rock, hits a Marine in the head, and kills him? What do you think? What do you think? What do you think should happen to Haley? Well, arrest in jail. Watch out. Yeah. Yeah. You know, we don't want Haley killed, so stop that [ __ ] Dad seems to not care. I've been to protests and not one time have I picked up a rock. Okay. Not one time. There's always a first time. But you should not as hateful as you are. Were there Marines at those protests? Now, there should never be Marines that were armed at those protests. Anybody in their right mind with the way our country is right now, you don't go to protest. You just don't do it. out of your [ __ ] mind. We have been protesting nonstop. Like people are protesting now. Even today, no one is lighting [ __ ] on fire. No one is throwing rocks at [ __ ] Marines. You guys are watching some [ __ ] crazy propaganda. No, no one's getting killed either. Let me ask you this, Dad. Would you be in favor of an allout labor protest? This is sometimes what they do in France where literally everybody in the country is just like, "We're not working. [ __ ] you." Yeah, I'd be all let's let's do it. Let's see what Let's see. Your problem is you don't live in France. Now, I'll be honest with you. Dad is not like he's saying he is. He's not really where you just stand there and shoot people. He's always told me, "Get out the fire hoses and put [ __ ] in it and throw [ __ ] at them." That's literally what they do in France. Worker, this happened uh last year, the year before. Yeah. They got giant tanker trucks of [ __ ] liquid [ __ ] and sprayed down all the government buildings with it. I'd say that's better than being dead. I would spray down spray down the people. Okay. Why do you think I want to move to France? Okay. They get it done. Yeah, they do. Oh, now you want to move to France. Okay. I have information. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Christopher, how could we not know this? Christopher Rudy R U DD Y owns the majority of shares in Newsmax media. He is the CEO of the company and owns most of the channel. He is conservative and rightwing. Hang on though. I I thought Newsmax was of the people. You're telling me the CEO of the company owns the most shares? He owns 31% of the company worth an estimated 3.3 billion at the closing price of shares at 80 8.51. Oo, the the CEO of Newsmax is a billionaire who owns most of the company. I just can't believe this. He's a billionaire because of the value of the stock that went up as they came public. You could you could have bought into it, Chad. Okay. Sorry. I don't know what you're I don't know what you're laughing about. This proves what we said. Yeah. You said Newsmax is owned by the people. It's owned by one guy who is the CEO of the [ __ ] company. Twothirds of it is owned by the American public. It beca started trading on the You don't have very You don't have very good math skills. I already knew that. Oh, not an IMAX on the New York Stock Exchange. It began trading under the ticker symbol NAX in March of 2024. Thank you. All right, let's uh simmer down a little bit. We've gotten kind of heated up. Haley, I want to do the simmer down this week. All about you. Where are you? You're not in your home. You're coming to us from abroad. Tell us what it's like where you are now. Have you been out into the world? Also, this is one of my questions. Have you been outside? Have you interacted with anybody since the bombings? Um, yeah. I've not just been holed up. Uh, I've been amongst the people. Yeah, we are in Switzerland. Um, in and out of various kind of countryside towns and larger cities. uh coming here. This is the first time we've been out of the country since Trump has been elected the second time. And so prior to this, you know, we we left the country during his first [ __ ] reign of terror. Um and it was an embarrassment. So like immediately an apologist for where I'm from. So when we go on these group tours or whatever, like prior to his second term, um it was always like, uh I'm from the United States, but like uh you know, don't judge me. Now I don't even want to tell them where I'm from. I don't even want to say it. Do you speak with an accent? Do you put on a fake accent? Hey, can I get some water? Yeah, I'm I'm really I thought about being Canadian. Australian might. Give me the water. I want to tell you something real quick. None of those countries that you are in now or want to be in would allow you to have your bakery, make money, uh be a very liberal person with everything you say in that bakery. You would not be able to do that in another country. So, you better think twice about what you're saying. You should get out more because that's wrong. Yeah, that's 100% wrong. No, it's not. If you hate the United States, then why aren't you in another country than doing your bakery? Because I don't have enough money. I can't just pack my [ __ ] up tomorrow. Why does it cost more over there than it does here? Yeah. You know how much it costs to move? Why are you acting stupid? Move all your [ __ ] You guys You guys are full of a nogo. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Mr. can't [ __ ] walk, but you're going to kill people in the streets. Whatever. Oh, that's humane. Um, that's humane. So, yeah, that's Dad said Haley would get what she deserved if she got shot by a marine at a protest. Correct. You wish [ __ ] shoot while she's throwing rocks out. Nobody's throwing [ __ ] rocks. So, I'm in Switzerland. The tone here is uh what it's always They are not affected. They are not affected by it right now. We just went to do like an excursion today this morning. And this is right after the news dropped and you know they were asking like where are you guys from? And I really did not want to say but I was like uh the United States. And like three people in the boat were like oh my god you know I want to see California. Like I would love to go to New York. These are people from like all over the world not just Switzerland. But, uh, it was a little bit encouraging, I guess, that not everybody thinks we're [ __ ] out there, cuz that was certainly my perception coming here. Like, I don't want you to know where I'm from. Um, but everywhere that we have been, uh, the people here have been like really kind to us. I haven't really experienced any animosity because I'm American. Um, yeah. So, it's been it's been pleasant. I I do tiptoe around it, though. Like, yeah. And then they say, "Oh, the US. Where in the US?" I'm like, "I don't want to tell you that either." Like Texas, you know, because it's one of the worst. Yeah. The worst. But they they say [ __ ] like, "Oh, like cowboy hats and barbecue." So, they have their own perception of like who we are and how we live and like, "No, I don't ride horses or like eat ribs and [ __ ] like that." So, um All right. Well, I I'm glad you're having a good trip outside of the United States. And And you feel safe just to stay there now since all this bombing has happened and not come home from safe here. Yeah. Guess how many Marines are in the streets there? Zero. But how are you going to get back? How are you going to get through airports and stuff? It's not going to be airport. It's not going to be as easy as it was going. I don't think security could be a little weird like that. There are going to be armed guards like frisking me down. You just you go in the airport and you [ __ ] get on the plane. It's like not that crazy. Okay. Part of that that fear that you have, Mom, of the rest of the world also is manufactured by the rich ultra elite to keep you afraid, to keep you angry. It's It is not real. Stay safe. Let's move on to our next topic. No aid for California as tensions continue to escalate between Los Angeles and Trump's ICE agents who performed raids in schools this week. California Governor Gavin Newsome has continued to be vocal against both the ICE raids and Trump's authorization of the National Guard and US Marines to be used as a police force in Los Angeles. In an effort to project control of the situation, Trump took his pettiness to new levels this week by threatening to withhold federal disaster funding for California and Los Angeles County's wildfire recovery efforts, explicitly stating this is due to his ongoing feud with Governor Gavin Newsome. Am I interrupting you guys? Yes. We see if we had to grab a banana or not. We don't. Okay. Did you hear anything I said, Mom? Yes. About the ICE raids, I was listening. I was I can do two things at one time. Dad, are you watching Newsmax right now? Absolutely. I just want to say I just don't get it. I was in uh neighborhoods. I don't want to miss the next episode of whatever we're going to do. There were ICE raids in like the town that I live in and all over social media. You could see people like warning others. They're on this street. Make sure you have your passport. Now they're on this street. They're wearing masks. Um unlabeled cars. Like all this [ __ ] So it's happening like in my [ __ ] neighborhood. Dodger Stadium. It's happening in mine, too. They were they took uh people that they had snapped up off the street and they were doing like exchanges between vans trying to get they wanted to use the Dodgers parking lot and the Dodgers told them go [ __ ] themselves. But that's what's encouraging. So people in my suburb are using social media to like, hey, [ __ ] watch out. They're on this street. Get in your house. Do whatever you got to do. So like people are now watching out for each other, which is like a nice thing to [ __ ] witness. But hang on a minute. The topic here though is not the ICE raids. The topic is Gavin Newsome obviously our governor here in California, heavily against Trump, very vocal against Trump, against all these ICE raids. And Trump has said that he's not going to give federal aid to California during the upcoming wildfire season basically because he's petty against Gavin Newsome. So, do you think that Mom, do you think Trump should withhold federal disaster aid from any state for any reason? Let me ask you that. No, but I thought no more money like FEMA and all that. It's all done and it's state by state. I thought no, he's saying because Gavin Newsome is against him on ICE raids, he will not give federal aid to California. That is what Trump said. I don't know. He He plays hard ball. That's what he does. Now he's a [ __ ] child. He should be fired. Oh, okay. One thing I heard you all say is they're just grabbing people here and here. Ice ICE is No, they're grabbing illegal. No, they're not. They are grabbing kids out of school that are not citizens in our United States. You cannot [ __ ] believe that they are zip tying children and like women who are 9 months pregnant. Also beyond that, one of the people that they were transferring in the trucks outside Dodger Stadium was a US citizen. Yeah. They detained him. He said, "I'm a US citizen." They're like, "We don't [ __ ] care. Get in the truck." Shoved him in it. Drove to Dodger Stadium, transferred him to another truck, and released him only hours later. This is a US citizen. Got released, didn't he? Got released. Yeah. Got released after a traumatic event. Who knows if they beat him up? Who knows what happened? Oh my god, they beat him up. Okay. Do you think uh Dad, that Trump voters in California who might need aid in this upcoming wildfire season, there are a lot of Trump voters here. Don't think California is a totally blue state. If you get out of LA, you get out of San Francisco, it's pretty [ __ ] red. Do you think those Trump voters in California are going to be okay when Trump says we're not giving you federal aid and your house just burned down? I don't think it matters. Why not? Cuz we're going to win anyway. Win what? The fire next election. That's what this is all about. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm asking about specifically the federal aid Trump is denying. It's not going to give them any [ __ ] federal aid. It's going to piss off the [ __ ] Democrats who lost their houses and nobody gives a [ __ ] because in four years they won't matter anyway. They won't matter anyway. I'm talking about the Republicans who are going to lose their houses that voted for Trump won't matter. You don't care about that. There aren't enough people lost their houses in Los Angeles. How can you say your state is that are going to that are going to swing the vote for the whole state? I'm not talking about if it swings the vote or not. I'm talking about Hang on a minute. you care if you give a [ __ ] that I've done my job. I don't give a sh I don't give a rat's ass [ __ ] about anybody that lives in California. Even Trump voters, fellow MAGA. Well, if they vote if they vote against me, they're just as bad as the rest of them. They don't. They're voting with you. These are MAGA voters is what I'm saying. There are MAGA that live in California. Yeah. Not very many, though. That's what I was going to ask. I don't want I don't want Trump to give California a [ __ ] red scent. Okay. Regardless of the fact that there are many Trump supporters who live here. I don't give a [ __ ] about regardless of any facts. No money to California. Your state is not It's a communist country. Your state is not red. It's blue. Chad, but that is the job of our government to help people who are in need. That is their [ __ ] job. They work for us. That's right. It's to protect people who are citizens of this country. But Gavin, not who needs our [ __ ] money and their You are wrong. Wrong. Whose phones are going to be on fire had no water for Chad when the fires were there. Wouldn't let the water out. No water. Let me ask you this. Let me ask you this. Okay. If Trump denies California federal aid during a wildfire season, would you be okay with California denying federal tax money to the United States government? Sure, whatever. We'll trade you. Yeah, let him not be anymore. Let him California is the fourth largest economy in the world. We'll trade you. It's pretty big deal. Yeah. How about you guys? You guys will be on your [ __ ] knees in a month. How about my produce from California? Oh, it does? No, it doesn't. Yes, it does. A lot of my produce comes from California. All right. How about military? You start looking at your packages. A lot of it comes from Mexico. How about if Camp Pendleton just says, "Nah, we're with California. We're not doing this anymore." That won't happen. They're military. All right. Okay. Let's move on to the Junth Post. Junth was this week observed annually on June 19th. that commemorates the day in 1865 when Union troops enforced the Emancipation Proclamation in Galveston, Texas, marking the end of slavery in the Confederacy. In 2021, Congress passed the Junth National Independence Day Act, and President Biden signed it into law to officially recognize Junth as one of the 11 recognized US Federal holidays that most federal offices, banks, schools, etc. observe by uh closing business. To celebrate this American holiday, Trump tweeted, "Too many non-working holidays in America. It is costing our country billions of dollars to keep all of these businesses closed. The workers don't want it either. Soon we'll end up having a holiday for everyone working every day of the year. Must change if we're going to make America great again. Where'd dad go? Where do you think? Shouldn't. No. A PP break. Mom, do you think we have too many non-working holidays? Yes, I do. It started out years ago. We only had one or two. Um, when your grandpa worked for the post office, you know, a federal holiday back then, he was maybe off two for the whole year. Now there's what, seven, eight, nine. I think there's way too many. And they they're just like, let's make this a federal holiday. Let's make this one. I think there's a way too many. Now, you're retired. So is dad, so you're not part of the workforce. Do you think that people who are part of the workforce believe there are too many holidays? No. No. Because they don't want to work, so they want the day. Correct. Correct. And they don't care if the United States loses money on that day. It doesn't [ __ ] matter. United States losing money. Do I would I would say this, no one gives a [ __ ] if the United States makes or loses money. They're thinking about, do I have health insurance? Can I put food on my table? Am I going to have to break my back working an 80hour work week just to do these things? And so if I get one more day off a year, that is a a small reprieve from the tidal wave of [ __ ] that most people have to endure day in and day out just to make ends meet. I think there's too many holidays, too many federal holidays. I really do. I've always thought that. Do you think that when Trump says something like this, it it makes the average person think, "Oh, he gets me." Or, "This guy has no [ __ ] clue." What? Chad, what did you say? Dad was saying something. Is he going to sit in the chair? He's coming. Yeah. He can participate in the podcast when he's on camera. He's coming. All right. No, I didn't hear what you said to me. Well, I'll ask Dad the same question. Dad, do you think we have too many non-working holidays? Yeah, there's probably about 20 days off now. 11. You both have numbers. 11 days. Those are federals, I bet. Correct. There are 11 federal holidays that we get the days off from work. So, my question is, Dad, you believe that we have too many? Right. Yep. Do you think that the average working American thinks that? Well, hell no. They don't want to work. Right. So when the president says that, do you think the average working American says, "This guy is the guy for me." Or do you think they're like, "Fuck this guy. He doesn't understand what it's like to work." Well, I think unions I think unions probably are against him. But they're all starting to turn the other way. Nobody's turning the other way. Yeah, they are. I have one more topic I want to get to here. Um, big tech army now. What? But wait, you were talking about Junth. You were talking about Junth. Yeah. And he specifically made that declaration on Junth because he's a racist piece of [ __ ] That too. Yeah. I forgot about that part. Do you guys know what Junth is? Yeah. What is it? It's Black Day. Okay. I read literally what it was in in my little preamble into this and you still don't know what it is from slavery. Uhhuh. And you think that that is that Yeah. Should we acknowledge that at all? No. Why? Spilled milk. Oh god. What? Why do you need Why do you need a holiday for that? You both spilled milk. Every [ __ ] podcast, all you guys talk about is Obama did this, Biden did this, spilled milk. Move on. Yeah, move on. One minute. Big tech in the army now. This week, Trump swore four big tech executives into the United States military who have no previous military training or rank. Cheyam Sankar from Palunteer Technologies, which is Peter Teal's kind of like uh super villain company. Andrew Bos Bosworth from Meta, Kevin Wall from OpenAI, Bob Mcgru from Thinking Machines, he is ex OpenAI. They were all sworn in as lieutenant colonels in the Army Reserve, a senior field office rank typically held after 15 to 20 years of service that comes with top security clearance. Uh, we interrupting you, Dad. Dad, all I ask is that you are present here in this every week, that you engage in the conversation, that you don't have side conversations or watch television. Well, my blood sugar has gone up 100 points since you started talking. Okay. Do you think it is a good idea, Mom, to have sworn in four giant tech executives, giving them top secret clearance into our military who are they have no military experience? Who who swore them in? Trump authorized this. They were sworn in by whoever the the top person was that swears people into the US military. These are people who who are literally currently the chief product officer, chief technology officers uh and a vice CEO of these giant tech companies. They now have access to all the top secret information that military officials will have. I am pretty sure Trump wouldn't have done it unless there is a good reason to do it. The reason is Trump with Peter Teal, Elon Musk, all these big tech bros, they are taking over the United States government by putting all the data into their companies. They're building a giant database of data on every citizen, all of our military. Now they're using Palunteer to start using AI to select military targets and carry out military campaigns. Trump is selling. Yeah. Huh. You know this how? It's reported on every day. Oh, it is. Yeah. Not on Newsmax because your billionaire CEO is probably taking some off the top, too. But I'm just asking you, why do you think Trump would have sworn in four giant tech CEOs to the US military? I don't know. Can you possibly see a version of it where So we have somebody knows their ass from their thumb. Can you possibly see a version of it where he's doing this because he wants those different companies to have top secret clearance access to all the data? Time's up. No, I don't think that's a reason. Dad, time's not up here. We've got a couple minutes left. You can bow out as you always do. You can storm off if you need to, but we're going to keep talking. Mom, take that. What? Mom, I'm asking you this question. Why do you think he swore these people in? I have no idea, Chad, but I don't think he did for a bad reason. I trust him. Give me a guess. You shouldn't. What could the reason possibly be other than to give these companies access to top secret military information? To help us in some way, the United States. In what way? He doesn't care about you. I don't know. But but think about that. You don't know why he would have done it, right? Because you godamn. You won't accept. No. Plenty of people know. I'm just saying you won't accept. What do you think? Quit trying to pull words out of my mouth. I'm not going to say so I'm telling you why he did it. It's not what I make regurg. But think really about why he's doing this. There's one reason and one reason only. He wants Meta, OpenAI, Palunteer. He wants them to have access to all of our military information because those companies, Palunteer, if you don't know what that is, it's Peter Teal's technology company. They're a big AI company. They their openstated goal is to build a database of every human on the planet so that they can restratify us into a technoclass system and put themselves at the top. They have openly said this. So that's the reason. Yes. They need all the data of everything that we have, including military top secret clearance [ __ ] That's what's happening right now. We'll see. I don't know. I I do not believe that. I mean, it's happening right in front of your eyes. Um All right. Well, that wraps up our show for today. Yay. Despite all of our differences, Mom, I do love you even in your golden Trump hat there. Dad, despite your inability to engage with your children and your wife for even one hour a week in conversation, I do love you. Uh, happy Father's Day. Happy early birthday. You're going to have a birthday this week. Are you looking forward to it? No. Haley, enjoy your trip out of the United States. I love you, too. I hope you get back safe. Mom, I love you. Dad, I love you. Chad, I love you. Dad, happy early birthday. It's in two days. How old are you going to be? 72. 72. It's a big one. I almost said happy birthday, Chad. Happy birthday, Haley. I love you both. Haley, please get your ass back to the United States. You guys want any sweat [ __ ] while I'm here? You want me to get you anything? Of course. What do you want? I love you, Dad. I love you, Bob. I love you, Kitty. Roman's on his way here to watch Kitty for us. She's failing fast. It's hurting my heart. Hurting my heart. That sucks. Sorry. If it's any consolation, I do think we will all be uh reunited in some capacity after what we perceive death to be, including our dogs. All consciousness is one consciousness. You will be know it. Huh, Chad? It Haley, that's called heaven. No, it's not. And Kitty and Rudy will be there for me. I know they will. Do you think so? Do you think like when you feel a connection to someone that you've just met or or an animal or something like that that that is someone from your past life? Could be. I I I don't think there's time doesn't exist. I think it's all one big thing constant. Um so past is I don't think that's real. Um, mom, but I would say this. You're talking about heaven. Dad, you should listen to this, too. I know Newsmax is very entertaining. You are going to be in that heaven with Democrats. And at that point, you're not going to have any animosity toward them. You're going to understand them completely. They're going to understand you completely. There will be implicit acceptance. He can fight in heaven. Your heaven is has machine guns and marines. All Democrats are going to hell. I knew he was going to say that. Okay. All right. He can fight with Democrats in heaven. Can't you just see dad with like six shooters? He's he's storming the pearly gates with his six shooters. Dad, would you go to heaven? What What do you perceive your yourself to be? Will you be like your 20-year-old self or will you be this version of you? No, he's this version. Probably about 30. 30. That was your prime. No, he's 72 guaranteed with six shooters just like I got I got two girls one for each of you and he just come through the gates. All right, on that beautiful image. I hope everybody gets has good dreams tonight. Thank you for joining us. And like I said at the beginning of this uh podcast, if this is one of the first podcasts you're listening to, one of your first fora into the necessary conversation, go back, listen to those first three episodes or as many as you want, uh on audio only, and I think you'll get a much better picture of who my mom was, who my dad was, who my sister currently is, all before politics have have kind of uh destroyed our family. Thanks for joining us. Oh yeah, and send in those questions. One minute and a shorter video clip to the necessary conversation [email protected]. Mom, you get the last word. And prayers for all of our s soldiers moving forward and their families and the United States. God bless United States and Iran. Did you really say that? Yeah. Ridiculous. They're dead.
