in the aftermath of the 2024 election America is even more divided than before half the country fears the end of democracy and the other half welcomes it as America inches toward the brink of authoritarian Rule now more than ever we must force ourselves to have the necessary conversation welcome to the okay is there any way you could not watch TV oh while we do this y we were getting information as we were watching it have you guys watched all the shitty uh holiday movies on Netflix I know how you like the Hallmark Channel I can see the TV's still on I can see it in your glasses yeah I'm not turning sound on it thank you for uh indulging me thank you for concentrating on this conversation for 1 hour it is of course the necessary conversation I'm Chad culton with me is my sister Haley Pope and my parents Bob and Mary Luke hulon hopelessly addicted to that screen right in front of their faces pumping their brains full of information called functioning alcoholic and flying during holidays I just don't it's too much Haley baked tell them what you did Haley I baked I baked how many 754 pies that's a lot of pie she said her fingers were swollen wow all right well so going woke hasn't been bad for business at least for Haley all right Mom and Dad mom specifically do you have a diddy to start Today's show off a diddy yes or several okay please begin I think I think Chad you should run for govern Govern of California because Gavin new only makes only makes 224,000 a year yeah so 224 a year but he lives in a $9 million house I think that's all politicians they all steal money they're all corrupt yes okay then run for governor all right I will um let's see oh they're saying that Baron Trump outsmarted the Harris campaign in that he he told his father to do that Joe Rogan uh interview and that that gained Trump a whole lot of young guy Vates yeah and Harris was too afraid to get on there because she wouldn't be able to answer half the questions yeah I think that that's a problem I mean Trump rambled three for three hours but he did do it for three hours and I agree with you I think K Harris should have done something similar she went on call her daddy and I think just you know felt like that's a wrap that's all she needs to do but that wasn't very curated interview I do think in the next presidential election cycle I wouldn't be surprised if you even see some of these candidates launching their own podcasts where they're just talking for a couple of hours about whatever every week I think traditional media the old mainstream media is is pretty much gone D are you with us yeah all right yeah and also like like hara's paid toward the end of her campaign 500,000 to Al Sharpton to have a one-on-one interview hilarious yeah H so the campaign money was going to people like himim going to people like Oprah's production company two million that's ridiculous all right one billion that's ridiculous but I mean she lost so yes okay now I was squeezed on time for this I did the very best I could okay Dad wouldn't help me he doesn't even know about this let's see how do I get this to this is my last ddy because it's sweeping the should care about minorities in the US population next I do want to thank you thank you for sharing your health issues with us and thank you all for humanizing people I really take issue with Maga but I have come to love all of you even though I strongly disagree especially with Bob about many of the things that he says but I think it's awesome that you're sharing your family um your health issues and your different beliefs with us Mary Lou I'm sorry that you get so much hate I really appreciate how much you and Bob love your kids and love each other I love you all Happy Thanksgiving there you have it that was our question from a listener the first part of that question is Mom and Dad can you admit that Haley and I are better losers than you would have been no go back to that very first podcast we did after he won you guys were terrible you're still in denial terrible you know how many times I have threatened to kill anyone who has an opposing political Viewpoint it's because you're weak but you both you both know Chad hasn't but Haley's moving I'm moving out of here hey you can move to New York Conneticut or Vermont and be part of the new Canadian providence right sounds good yeah four four states Massachusetts okay let's get back to the next question they all want to toed from the Union and become part of Canada and by God I can't cut them off fast enough okay that was a good question and no they're still poor losers and if we would have lost we probably just would have had straight faces but we wouldn't have done nothing and the and the fact that I had hip surgery and skip the line has nothing to do with me it had to do with the polling place but we did I did a podcast not a podcast I did a little clip about it and say this I did say this is good it was nice and I even help there was a woman in a wheelchair I said oh my God I'm going to go tell them because they were going to leave and Dad's like no no I said I'm getting out I got out of the car I said hey just pull your car around there to where it is um has the sign for handicap they'll bring you that ballot and she said really a lot of people don't know about that I guess interesting all right well there you have it some answers I suppose just unrelenting in your opinion that you are better in everything than everyone else and and now let's move on oh my God now see why do you have to put those knives into us like that knives that's literally what's happening that is a knife into our side we are you guys are lying you're lying if you would have lost dad would be ready to like get in his personal tank with all of his guns and kill as many people as possible you would be telling us that it was rigged you would not accept the defeat you didn't even accept the first time defeat you know what we would have done we You' had have been crazy to think you were going to win this election we would have spent a lot of our money down to zero because I would not have let her take it away from us the money that we've earned our whole lives spent the money on what houses cars you guys whatever we just liquidate we would have blown all our money down to zero okay good plan um before we get into our topics this week I wanted to just ask you both a quick question Mom let's start with you what do you think when you hear the word authoritarian person in charge of everything person in charge of everything okay person who thinks he's in charge okay okay that's that's what you guys believe an authoritarian leader is no he's at the head person in charge like our president Above the Law okay no that is what hey you're wrong he's not above the law he is now the law okay okay so authoritarians he is the law I was just curious because we have said on this podcast we use that word from time to time to describe Donald Trump and I'm not sure if you guys actually know what it is and it seems like maybe don't he is the law okay let Chad tell us what um who do you think are some authoritarian leaders of the past I I don't I can't recognize any of them I remember my grandmother when I was a little girl she would say Cru okay kusf in Russia Hitler musolini we're not our Castro karian Saddam Hussein they're not no and why is that because they're not just get to the point I know you're trying to my is that us I'm not trying to Gaslight any you want you want you want to align Trump with all those people of the past yeah and it isn't anything remotely the same okay let chance say he's lit he's literally trying to line his cabinet with Trump loyalists they're all un damn right it's the only way we're going to clean the only way we're gonna clean out the [ __ ] rats next there now it's not for the betterment of it's not for the betterment of the country it's literally just for him better me for the part of the country who voted for Trump which is the majority I I guess you're all about to find out ha haa I mean this is this is kind of what I'm getting at yes do you believe that being ruled by an authoritarian leader is a good thing for the people of that country again I'll mention Hitler molini gito Stalin you don't think it's good no you're against the idea yeah okay but you don't think Trump is that even though he has said on day one he will be a dictator and he's very clearly surrounding himself with people who will never tell him no right he's surrounding himself with people that are best for our country that are going to cannot believe that that are going to enforce yeah we believe it the things that the people voted for they wanted Trump you cannot believe that yeah yes we do well let's let's start then with our first toic still s losers okay let him talk I was just curious how you kind of view Trump and if you know what an authoritarian is and if you think that's a bad thing that's why I askarian is none of those guys are authoritarian what is it what is it then they were people who took control of their country because of political not because of political but because of economic situations uhhuh that's not what we're dealing with here do you guys still believe that we have constitutional rights do you think that that's something that we should be we do now yes we weren't going to have but now we do have oh okay all right do you threat to to what you two consider democracy was uh Harris and that group of [ __ ] that they have like I that is what I would call being a sore winner you now no longer need to even think about KLA Harris she has lost the election it's not a sore winner let me just ask a fifth woman has died in the state of Texas being denied oh here we go we're up to five a life-saving abortion she wanted the baby we're not talking about that stop it what's wrong with you whoops okay got to go get a drink here's what I think bye Haley left in a coughing fit I guess like the authoritarian that you were talking about he is going to to um reinstate our laws the people voted for him to reinstate the rule of law that we all need which is when someone takes a gun and kills someone they go to jail when someone robs you they stay in jail they don't Donald Trump yeah except for Donald Trump the man the man that you're saying is going to reinstate the laws has actually just escaped the law he was convicted of 34 felonies he will now no longer be sentenced the other cases that are against him are now dissipated they are dropped he is we told you that would happen in the beginning they weren't for real okay fine anyway all right let's move on had a bunch of fools in New York okay speaking of law let's move on to our first topic cash Patel this week Trump announced he's nominating cash Patel for the job of director of the FBI his appointment would require Senate confirmation and then it would also require Trump to fire the sitting FBI director Christopher Ray who he installed after firing then FBI director James Comey in 2017 Patel is a former Federal public defender and former Federal prosecutor in the justice department National Security division he worked as Chief of Staff to the Secretary of Defense during the first Trump Administration and has been outspoken about calling for a purge of Trump's enemies from the justice department FBI and other intelligence agencies Patel is known for perpetuating conspiracy theories about the 2020 election and has vowed to weaponize his authority as FBI director to shut down FBI headquarters on day one and seek legal action against journalists he doesn't agree with Trump floated the idea of Patel heading the FBI in his first term and his then attorney general Bill bar said Over My Dead Body uh Haley should the FBI headquarters be shut down no um I think that Senate will not allow this I think that a lot of his choices are going to be [ __ ] null and void uh this is insanity everything that he says it's all personal Vendetta whatever you want Donald Trump they are all Trump loyalists they aren't qualified they're insane and so uh they aren't qualified like the people that are doing it now okay I am hopeful that none of them will [ __ ] see the light of day that is my hope dad you you're saying the people doing this job now are not qualified the current guy doing this job was installed by Donald Trump no he was just up the ladder because he fired Comey Donald Trump put him up for that job that's because he was the next in line and Trump didn't know how the swamp was now he knows how the swamp works and he's gonna destroy the swamp Okay um mom do you think the FBI headquarters should be shut down it's whatever is best for our country Chad it is so corrupt I'm asking you do you think the FBI headquarters should be shut down and turned into a museum is what he wants to do with it whatever he wants to do with it that's terrifying change that is terrifying so it's a [ __ ] freefor all it's terrifying that he's trying to make our country better and how how does shutting down FBI headquarters make the country better because the FBI doesn't do anything that's of any value to an American citizen because they're going they're going to expose all the corruption all all the injustices they're going to you know the FBI people that were on the payroll go do this when it's against the law that's what he's taken down hayy no that's what Donald Trump wants to instill in our government agencies but he wants to wipe out now do you remember when you guys were heavily against the idea of defunding the police shutting down police departments that's exactly what this guy wants to do no I didn't not that how we need more the FBI are the police no they're not they're cops no they're not they are it's the Federal Bureau of Investigation they investigate crimes of Investigation they're not police they're not police okay what are they they are corrupt individuals that need to be wiped out to the man corruption who do you think who do you think they tap when they get [ __ ] leaks about terrorist activity in the United States who do you think they tap into they don't do anything FBI nothing they haven't done a [ __ ] thing guess what guess what they're probably the people that tried to take Trump down we know years ago they took um Ken because he's a criminal he's a [ __ ] criminal just say yes that's what they believe mom you do this every time it gets to a point where you don't like the argument and you go just say yes you know why it's not worth the fight we're not fighting we're having a conversation not worth you're never going to come our way we're never going to go your way it's and we're you have some kind of weird allegiance to Donald Trump it's [ __ ] strange we have a weird to what's right in America and Donald Trum gonna take us there we have a weir allegiance to patriotism which you guys don't you don't even you don't even like this country hell you need to move to one of those four states and do your voting to get your ass to Canada we believe in God you don't you can live in that [ __ ] we can bring that up many times do I believe in some you like having do you like having those freedoms to believe in your God and to live in this country will be able to yes I wasn't going to be able to now I am do do you think that everyone should be forced to believe in your God yes no a God or you can move to or you can move to another place in the world where my God isn't the God because God United States is a Christian Nation that you damn straight it is yes interesting so the the reality of it is this country was founded on religious freedom right that you can pray to any God you want or no God or whatever no yes people came here when their religion involves burning of the American flag and take and shooting people no what's wrong with burning the American flag oh that's funny Chad you should go to jail for that why no you shouldn't it's patriotism who gives a [ __ ] we do it's not illegal grandfather's here's the difference you're not harming anyone right here's the major difference between you and me okay I believe in patriotism you have zero therefore you need to move to one of those four states vote your little [ __ ] ass out to Canada and go live there hang on a minute you're talking about patriotism isn't freedom of speech one of the most patriotic rights we are granted As Americans yeah and I'll have anymore burning a flag is that no it's not yes it is it's a protected action under the First Amendment no yes no yes you we W that one you shouldn't be able to burn the American flag it's ridiculous well you should because it's freedom of speech for long I don't think that you should be able to force children to learn about the Bible in public school I do well if it's a Christian School yes it's not public Christian if it's if they if they're in that school it's a Christian school they can teach the Bible this is not a chti scho a different God you go to that school go make your own school I am trying to tell you in the state of Texas effective I believe immediately grades kindergarten through five will now be learning about the Bible in history good they will be learning about Christianity that ostracizes every other child who is not a Christian Christianity is part of American history and you know what when I taught at that little Elementary in Texas every morning I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it send one nation under guard invisible every every morning they would recite that and pick a child who gives a [ __ ] well that's pism I believe that that's [ __ ] I don't think you should have to stand and do that you don't pledge allegiance to anything you don't believe where you and I disagree therefore you need to move to one of the four states that want to become part of Canada and get your ass out of here you I mean I'm trying I'm trying my best to get the [ __ ] out of here but I can't do it immediately you it takes I asked Roman and with I asked the grandbabies once if that flag um Pledge of Allegiance was still in the schools and they said yes yeah early indoctrination is a part of all human cultures you have to brainwash the children into believing the reality you present is the well you were both brainwashed look at you too all right let me ask you one more question about cash Patel uh dad do you think I think I already know the answer to this but do you think that the FBI should be allowed to go after journalists who report about Trump in an unfavorable way yeah absolutely and they should be what life in prison execution when are you going to bring up the cash Patel rape somebody that's usually you're one out to get everybody disqualified no I mean this should prove to you that's because like most of them have yeah this should prove to you that those other allegations aren't frivolous nothing is coming up for cash Patel no nothing like this is coming up in his history FBI completely well let me ask you the same question and R the whole I'm going to ask let me ask you the same question back at you why isn't that coming up for cash Patel if that's just the Democrats go-to lie that they say about all of his give yourself time okay you [ __ ] make up [ __ ] about every one of them nobody making [ __ ] up why isn't anybody saying that Cas from Politico Politico okay chill chill [ __ ] Politico chill that needs to be shut down too [ __ ] Politico why does it need to be shut down because they lie like [ __ ] okay that's a good one mom do you think that the FBI should be able to come after journalists or entertainers perhaps even us on this podcast because we are speaking out publicly against Donald Trump damn right yes do you not remember when Madonna said she wanted to take a bomb and blow up the White House that's fine to do dad has said stuff like that a million times on this show yeah I'm still here so you do not believe in the freedom of speech I believe in the freedom of American speech okay oh my God all this Tommy crap can go blow up you realize that I post [ __ ] like that on my personal page yeah so by by your standards you think I should be shut down I should be run out of business because my freedom of speech doesn't matter I never thought it's gonna happen to you if you don't straighten up I don't like and you think that's okay I think it's part of the game that you like to play I don't like the I don't play a game I have freedom of speech then you to you want that to go away then you will have to pay the piper and you think that's okay for somebody lose their business because they want to speak business again you need to move your business to Canada therefore the first move you should make is to either Massachusetts Vermont New York what's the other one I have no idea well California is going to be a big one because it looks like Gavin Nome is gonna tell Trump to go [ __ ] himself on pretty much any anything that he tries to do in Califoria with no Chad needs to run for governor no it doesn't matter all right let's move on to cforia California is done as a state let me talk about when she what does that mean wait a minute what does that mean it's done as a state it's done as a state it's either going to have to go be part of Canada or they're going to shut the [ __ ] down you watch it'll just be a giant empty landmass they'll kick everyone out well it's it's damn near on its way there now with all the everybody's everybody's leaving the [ __ ] State already okay all right last Wednesday Trump had a phone call with Mexican president Claudia Shin bomb just days after Trump threatened to impose new tariffs on Canada and Mexico as part of his effort to crack down on illegal immigration and drugs a threat he uh drew a fast response to from shine bomb who said any us tariffs would be met with reciprocal measures from her government Trump said via social media that on the call shine bomb had quote agreed to stop migration through Mexico and into the United States effectively closing our Southern border Shin bomb then immediately contradicted Trump on social media saying I explained to him the comprehensive strategy that Mexico has followed to address the migration phenomenon respecting human rights thanks to this migrants and has pass thanks to this migrants and Caravans are assisted before they reach the Border we reiterate that Mexico's border position is is not to close the borders but to build Bridges between governments and between people but they don't want to listen Trump then returned to social media to write quote working on large scale United States advertising campaign explaining how bad fenel is for people to use [ __ ] do you Mom do you consider what Trump wrote about Mexico closing their border to be a lie no even though the Mexican president said it was a lie yes no she's GNA say that yeah for because she's got she's got exactly 50 days before she gets her ass handed to her you know why so she can sit here and blow smoke up everybody's ass for another month and a half once that Trump becomes president they're gonna throw those tariffs on that [ __ ] and she's gonna crawl like a dog you watch and if she says yes I'll close the border she's going to get a bullet to her head by the cartel right now so she's trying to figure out how to do this the correct way she's a hot bag of wind and I guarante Dam toe you we're going to have tariffs on Mexico and Canada we're gonna get to the tariffs later our fourth topic is going to be Canada Trudeau and those minutes did you see in the news did you see in the news the 10-year-old little boy standing there crying I have action at one o'clock that I will not miss And the reporter said where are your parents he's on the border he said my mom's in the US one I mean there's little kids standing there crying every day their parents are not there they can't find them where do you think those little kids go tell me where they go to bad people they go to very very bad people all right and Trump's gonna straighten it all I'm so tired of it yeah he's gonna send them all back to where they came from with their parents they go somewhere with the 300,000 kids that they don't even know where they are I'm so tired of that um let me ask you this Trump uh like I said put took to social media to say that he's working on a large scale advertising campaign about the evils of fentel and that uh is his solution for that crisis Haley do you think that an ad campaign is going to solve the fentanyl crisis in America Jesus um obviously not uh he was he's acting as though we've never had the War on Drugs he's acting as though this has not been in place since what Reagan Era isn't that when yeah we started incarcerating every black person on the street and systemic racism was an all-time high like it's just the perpetuation of that and now the target is immigrants um there already I think building jails at the Texas Mexico border no they're building prisons I'm sorry camps yes pris yeah so I mean this is it's this has been going on for decades and airplanes to take them back trying trying to give people like Mom and Dad who are just misinformed these advertisements about how bad fentanyl is it just fuels the fire you know this is mom's hot button issue and that's why because they listen to the propaganda like fenel coming in they're coming in the drug dealers are coming in um know someone in our died from fentol you know this so why would you make light of it people are dying from it how am I making light of Sentinel I'm simply look how mad you are he's got you he's got you both the drugs do have me I don't like people dying from a drug that's off so I got a game coming on in 25 minutes we watch Hallmark and I'm watching my game at one o'clock all right you'll be there for your game but you could turn off Newsmax right now and talk to your topic number three before we get to that one topic number three is Blair Fleming Blair Fleming is a transwoman volleyball player for the San Jose State Spartans in the Mountain West Conference who has been at the center of national controversy this week as the Spartans made their way to the championship game in the Conference Finals some part of why the Spartans made it to the finals had to do with seven opponents refusing to play them in protest of Fleming the red shirt senior is also at the center of a lawsuit involving her own teammates who sued their head coach the college and Mountain West Conference demanding Fleming be declared ineligible for the conference tournament the NCAA is also facing a class action lawsuit from more than a dozen female athletes who accuse the organization of knowingly violating a law that prohibits sex-based discrimination the championship was held Saturday night where the Spartans lost to Colorado State mom do you think if any of those other seven teams that forfeited out a protest would have played the Spartans they would have won have no idea I had did Google I didn't even hear of it I was I was hearing of Cala Harris being drunk on her videotapes um you know how I feel if you're born a boy you're a boy if you're born a girl you're a girl right um so this is a boy this is a boy yes it is highly is highly likely that they would have won some of those games so this is a boy playing girl Sports it is a transgender woman it's a boy so it's a boy I mean no what is it then a woman a transgender woman but it was a boy at Birth born with a penis all right shouldn't be on the volleyball court now let me ask you this dick make you boy no do you think that refusing to play a team Jesus Christ a trans athlete proves any kind of point you just lost 100% of credibility with everybody that listens I do know that she uh the trans the man that is now a woman is in several lawsuits against her teammates against all kinds of stuff should not be allowed this ridiculous well let me ask you this it won't be but you're trying to say it's no big deal because they lost anyway either or in a sport where there's more power more muscle maybe it does it for sure matters I I'm not saying it doesn't I think that this is a a very controversial issue I don't personally know how to solve this issue I do think it's yeah I do it's it's whatever you're born with keep the [ __ ] men in the men's locker room and if they aren't good enough to make the men te [ __ ] them they shouldn't get to play you know what she's not a man there's a great there's a great area because there are trans well then they need to start their own [ __ ] volleyball league that's what I was just gonna say men's league women's league and all seven and all 17 of them can play with each other quit yelling a men's league a women's league and a trans League what's wrong with that if you're if that may be the solution I don't know yeah if you've s it's not a solution because there's not enough of those [ __ ] to play if you have switch that's why they jump ship and go to the all these boys want to go play girls sport no that is not what they're doing the [ __ ] team okay don't that is not what they're doing do this it is uh if you're born a boy you play boy Sports if you're born a girl you play girl Sports if you trans one way or the other make two other leagues there you go solved I would not play with a trans and see and see how many transgendered teams there are [ __ ] zero but then couldn't you also see it from this perspective in a situation like this playing against that team if you can beat them in your mind you're playing against a man doesn't that make you a better team if you beat that team no now there are some sports it makes you complacent to the [ __ ] that's going on in this country there are some sports where men and women play in the same sport such as uh ecoin like horse jumping things like that okay that's okay because it's a heser riding and it's men and women doing the same event but to have power and strength as a man and compete against women just because you've transed over no so it's for you about the power and the strength so could there be potentially like size or weight classes what if it is a no a transom who is 5 foot Zer and not that muscular should that be allowed then she'll get killed no no no no transgendered should not be allowed in men's and women's sports period no no period end the [ __ ] story so if you're an athlete and your trans you should not be allowed to play those Sports yeah don't know how HRT affects your strength I don't know if a transwoman would have an unfair Advantage uh because I've never like I said I don't think I ever played with any transom but I don't know um and like statistically you see all of these trans athletes competing mostly trans women in women's sports and it's not like they're destroying the competition um it's not like they're winning gold medals in first place all [ __ ] oh [ __ ] in the Olympics they that one knocked the girl out like gave her that was a woman that was a biological woman you got that she was not a trans woman that's a moot point how about the swimmer that won all the medals Leah Thomas a man she won some medals but didn't like some every [ __ ] one of them shattered like an isolated in shattered every [ __ ] record women had that's not true I don't think that's true shattered them shattered the record so anyway uh so anyway you know you see these kind of like little isolated pockets of trans women in sports and [ __ ] everybody wants to have a villain but in reality I don't even think they're out they're not outplaying women in sports like the trans women are just kind of they're not everybody acts like they're just destroying women's sports but they're really not so I mean I don't I don't have a solution because like I said I don't know if there is an unfair Advantage um don't do that so I don't know uh you know but you could also say like somebody like [ __ ] Michael Phelps had an unfair Advantage because biologically he's just a monster compared to the other people or Serena Williams biologically was like I think she inherently has like more testosterone in her body or you know whatever she's just a superior athlete like you you have to start are we going to nitpick you know how you're born what you're born with what you're given yes because vagina yes yes yes Superior athletes you know like I'll never be a professional basketball player ever because there are people who are born to grow to like [ __ ] 7 foot and be 225 pounds go back to the sex thing whether you're a boy or a girl biological I'm telling you that inherently there are biological women who are just [ __ ] a lot bigger and stronger than me so I mean there's gray area for me but also you know I want to defend trans women in sports they are athletes and they deserve to perform that sport th this is by the oh my God don't spoil it thanks though all right well that's kind of what we're watching let's move on to our fourth and final topic here the Canada tariffs this week Trump threatened to impose a 25% tariff on all Goods coming into America from Canada until the border is secure with regard to Fentanyl and illegal immigration then on Friday Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau went to marago and had dinner Trudeau said that he believes Trump will try to impose the tariffs and he feels that one of his responsibilities as Canada's leader is to make Trump understand that those tariffs will also harm you guys need to have a conversation no one of his responsibilities as Canada's leaders to make sure Trump understands that these tariffs will also harm American businesses and Industry as of November 6th US Customs and Border Protection has seized 19.5 kg of senel at its northern border this year last year it seized 1 kilogram at the northern border there were nearly 200,000 northern border encounters between October 2023 and September by comparison the US's Southern border saw over 2.1 million encounters during the same period Biden had this to say of Trump's tariff threats to both Canada and Mexico quote I hope he rethinks it I think it's a counterproductive thing to do we're surrounded by the Pacific Ocean the Atlantic Ocean and two allies Mexico and Canada and the last thing we need to do is begin to screw up those relationships Dad how do tariffs work explain them to us okay basically what happens is whatever materials are made in Canada and shipped to the United States they put a 25% SE charge on it who pays that who pays the SE charge yeah Mexico that's wrong no the American companies importing the Goods pay the price that's right at the dock but they but they get the 25% tariff from Mexico no they don't oh yes they do if you own a company let's say that you own a company that is building houses for example okay and you let's say that you own a company that builds houses and you're getting your lumber from Canada let's just say that okay as soon as it hits the border and you are importing that Lumber there's a 25% right the American company pays that your company pays it that's right and then guess who ends up paying it back Canada how how who pays it from Canada you can't first of all you're not going to be able to export homes once you import the lumber right so what happens you have to pay the 25% on your Lumber that's right and then you increase the price of the house that an American citizen is going to buy that's correct so Americans incur the price no they do not that's where you're wrong all right mom how do tariffs work I don't know I'm Googling it I don't know well at least you're Googling it that's a step in the right direction Trump trump himself has said like in doing all of this his end game is to have his end game is to eliminate not because what's going to happen to eliminate Imports and build more factories here for workers the he knows what he's doing they'll quit importing lumber from Canada that's what happens and then that's what ultimately happens with tariffs that's the goal absorb no that's exactly what actually happens it isn't actually what happens all economists say that if he he imposes these tariffs it's going to be more money that the US consumer is paying because these companies are just that will not be a truth CN just did CNN just did like a big report I just watched it there's some more genius there's some moreon Geniuses CNN they had an analyst on and she said you know our Tomatoes our avocados cilantro onions like the Imports that we receive from Mexico are like everything in your grocery store your problem is ter once he imposes the tariffs Mexico won't keep them in place more than about two days do me a favor screenshot your grocery bill right now whatever grocery bill you have okay and in about six months show me what the difference is well I do know this it'll be less I do know this in regard to economy and prices I know this kind of silly but there's a little baby blanket that I always buy for kitty cat at Walmart a year ago it was $5.9 some little fluffy little blanket for kitty cat I went to get her a new one $1150 cents in one year same blanket that could also just be price gouging all these companies that are selling goods are it's it's so far one of the main things Trump has said that he's going to impose day one tariffs are paid by the buyers of the products the producing company in the end will fall back on reads one post like how tariffs work I don't know taxes applied to goods and services purchased from abroad are typically paid directly by us businesses that import from abroad that's correct going to stop importing the actual cost of the Tariff however can fall on the exporter importer or consumer that's us it can fall on any of them it can fall on any of them okay and what's gonna end up happening is Mexico and Canada cannot afford to have the United States shut Imports off for more than a day or two they all go broke so they're gonna B they're going to ultimately end up paying whatever we want or just shut the [ __ ] up and get along with the tariffs or if they don't want the tariffs they're going to have to just get along and shut the borders down okay so you understand that like a friendly relation understand you guys do not understand okay a friendly relationship with your allies is what you strive for as a country who do you think's our Ally Mexico and Canada and Mexico they're not our allies they're our enemies yes they are they are our enemies yes they are do you think it's a good idea to be enemies with the countries that are immediately north and south of your country on your [ __ ] bug yeah it's no big deal you would you Advocate Canada and Mexico get in line or get out okay so you're I think we should be at war with Mexico ABS [ __ ] Lely it's run by the cartels and we should be at war with the cartels do you think America should have any allies dead um yeah there's couple three that I can think of who who should they be well one of them top top of my list would be Russia interesting okay Jesus not Ukraine China don't like them no not China why not because China's got an ulterior motive and they're a little sneakier than the Russians are but they're they're in uh bricks with Russia well so doesn't mean they can't be buddies I do think closing the Border we will be in a war with Mexico before this is over and the cartel it'll be the cartel and what does that look like a war with Mexico we send in our army go our army goes in with tanks and and within within two weeks the war is over they're over here muring us so we've got to stop it we have to stop Anni but it's not like the Mexican Army isn't here murdering us these are criminals yeah and they're and Mex Mexican Army is run by those criminal and there are gangs that are over whole hotels in New York City I I think part of the problem is that there are some people who cannot see outside of their bubble if they've never traveled the world so like as someone who has been to Mexico you're wrong that have come in and the illegals mom let me ask you this question um with regard to Canada and Mexico part of what Trump was saying is that he's going to impose these tariffs on Canada unless they shut down the border and cease all of the immigrants coming through the northern border and all the fenel do you consider the northern border to be as big of a problem as the southern border which one in your mind is the scariest I think the southern border but now I read a lot you know this now I've the reading that I've started doing the northern border is pretty bad too just as bad I think but I think it's not just as bad I gave the exact stats 200,000 northern border encounters between October 2023 in September and 2.1 million on the southern border you need to Google this is what scares me too the I35 um Highway going from Texas all the way up that is nothing but cartel and drugs along the the way there's a little town called um Ardmore where Dad used to meet Haley's kids the grandbabies halfway when they used to come up here Ardmore now Oklahoma has more crime than the city of Las Vegas Nevada and more drugs per capita or what Google Google that there is more uh drug trafficking in Ardmore Oklahoma and crime then Las Vegas Nevada data due to the drugs that come up through I35 now how scary is that so when Roman went back scar all he said I'm going to stop up on I35 somewhere for gas I said okay I said make sure you give me a text that you're back in your car and on your way and I told him that you have to open his eyes to this [ __ ] Haley and yours too I have a friend that lives in Ardmore she U moved there with with her husband two weeks later uh got accosted by a guy it was pretty bad went to the local judge said what can you do here and the judge
