Uh, hello hello hello hello hello hello. We're live. Hi everybody. Oh wow, Martin renders. Hi all from Italy. Finally in vacation and able to stay up for the live. Glad you made it. This will be the last live that we do at this time. Next week, we're going to go back to 6:00 p. p.m. PST as unfortunately
Love Island comes to an end tonight. Love Island USA season 8. Of course, nobody cares. I mean, I guess a lot of people care, but I don't care.
It's the most watched show on planet Earth. Well, I'm not watching it. Okay. And that to you means nobody cares. I don't care.
Okay. Okay. Um, we have one from Arizona Mountain Girl. Today was crazy. Marylu acted like she finally understood ICE is criminal and cruel, but she is never able to equate that back to Trump. Feed her a gummy. [laughter]
I want to get mom high so bad. Um, I'm fairly certain she is taking edibles like daily now. What? Yes, I had that chat with her. Yeah. Yeah. She's like she can't regulate her anxiety, so she is definitely dosing.
Okay. Um well, I don't mind that gateway drug. We're going to get her on mushrooms next. Get her some of that Molly. Um yes, she today surprised the [ __ ] out of me
by having her attitude about ICE and the murder that they just did this week. I I never would have thought that. Um when she gets preoccupied with like real life [ __ ] and stops watching the news and then finally you return to it and it is being presented as if he was murdered.
Yeah. But that the same thing happened to Renee Good. Literally the exact same thing. But she was watching the news nonstop and she didn't have like other things happening in life. So there was no other fixation. I think I she's going to come around. It's a matter of time before she denounces
Trump. She said it. She was like, I'm getting close. Leave me alone. That means she's already made the decision. She just now has to
say it go through the the living out of the actions to express it. Mhm. Um anyways, I I really thought today was like in terms of getting mom closer to being out of the cult. Prior best episode.
Yeah. Stephen English 198 Bob threatened to quit if anyone under 30 came on. Does that still stand with him being sick? If so, does that count for Wednesday? Also, maybe Isaiah Martin. I don't know Isaiah Martin. Do you? [clears throat]
Don't know Isaiah Martin. Um, yeah. I don't know. I don't know where my dad stands. If he's ever coming back to the show, if his threats hold any water, if he's not, I don't know.
Yeah, I don't know. As my mom would say, time will tell. K. Van Winkle 777. Haley, what's your favorite item on your menu? And what's your favorite item to loving that my Facebook feed is just filled with hive tags this whole last week. Hard emoji. [laughter]
Uh my favorite menu item like to eat? Cinnamon roll. My favorite thing to eat, we make a vegan banana nut cinnamon roll. It's easily my favorite thing.
Have I ever had that? No. I just had your regular ones. Your regular vegan cinnamon rolls, right? Those those are my favorite. Those are [ __ ] great.
Yeah, we make really good cinnamon rolls. Um and what is my favorite thing to bake? I just worked on a 12 cookie program that I am titling the dirty dozen. That cookbook is going to drop at some point. And I did regular gluten-free and vegan versions of all 12 of these cookies. And I think I had a really good time making those.
Nice. Joy Tful. Does Mary Lou know the difference between patriotism and nationalism? No. Haley is a badass patriot fashion. Should I get that tattooed right here? Bad ass patriot.
Yeah, might as well. Sarah Lathe, what do you think Bob's reaction will be when Marylu denounces Trump? Will he start to change his tune as well? Congrats on progress with Marylu today.
I don't think he'll ever change. Yeah. Also, I think he got bigger fish to fry at this point. I don't know. Like, I haven't really talked to him about politics at all. I've only talked to him a handful of times since he's been in the hospital. It's like
he just been watching FIFA. Yeah. couple of seconds. How you feeling? Black [ __ ] [laughter] Like that's about all I'm getting out of him. Um
yeah, I I have no idea where he even stands politically at this point. I mean, I'm sure he's still MAGA, but like is he
watching Newsmax every day? Does he give a [ __ ] about any of this? He does at home. Yes, he is watching it at home. And he has conversations with one of the women that's there. Absolutely they do. I witnessed it.
She's MAGA. No, she's not. That's what I was about to say. I can't No, she has not uh some nurses that are helping my mom kind of deal with all the stuff that needs to be done for my dad to sustain him at this point. That's insane.
Yeah. And he loves this woman like a lot. So maybe it is opening his eyes though. Can you imagine? His nurse pulls him out of the cult. We tried for four [ __ ] years. Can't make an inch. And then his nurse does it in like a month.
I mean, maybe. Please. I It might happen. Yeah, let that happen. Um, Earth [sighs] Earthy Pagan Girl, thank you very much. Hi, Haley. I own a small holistic business in North Carolina called Sacred Shell Healing. You inspire me each day on how I show up, especially in a rural red area. Thank you for all you do.
You're welcome. You just got to cast them spells and light them candles. So, one of my friends who owns a metaphysical shop in Lewisville, the name of it is called Green Man Studios for anyone watching. Um,
I have known this guy since I was a teenager. We went to high school. Anyway, he brought me a candle. He's into like all the witchy [ __ ] like Reiki and witchcraft and whatever. So, he brings me a candle that says um there's a label on it that says the road opener. And I can see that he has sprinkled like some [ __ ] inside. And I'm supposed to light this candle and fold up a piece of paper with like my intentions and what I'm hoping happens and put it inside that candle and let it burn until it's like completely gone. Um, within 24
hours of burning that candle, [laughter] the Lord does open the [ __ ] universe. You killed Lindsay Green. No. No. No. The whole [ __ ] storm started. Libs of Tik
Tok. I thought you were saying you made a a wish for Lindsy Graham to die and put it in the candle and then you killed
with your spell. There is like a spell with something about something with three. What's it? I bind thee. I'll I'll hit you to this. I just finished writing a movie.
Mhm. And now I'm like, what's my next movie? What's next in that slot? I'm always doing a movie, a book. Sure. TV shows, podcast, whatever. I have slots.
Same. The movie slot is open. What am I going to do? Got a couple ideas. Couple ideas, right? One of which is an idea called Two Scobbyies. Scobbyby is the name of our cat. Just listen to me. Don't
I am all right. My eyes. Your eyes. Don't roll my eyes. Your eyes. Don't roll my eyes for me. I'll roll my eyes as I please.
Okay. All right. One of these ideas is called Two Scabbies. It's like an A24 comedy horror movie about a couple who dotes on their cat and they come back after going out to dinner and there's two cats now of the same cat in the living room. They're like, "What the fuck?" And one cat is kind of like creepily looking at the other one and they're like, "What's going on?" They take it to a vet. The vets's like, "Both these cats seem healthy to me. I don't know, but they're identical." And they're like, "This is bizarre." Turns out the new cat is a doppelganger. It eventually kills their
cat and takes its identity. Then it eventually morphs into the woman in the relationship, kills her, takes its identity, and then the end is it kills the guy as well, and it's a a family of these doppelgangers. Now, that's the end of the movie, right? But it's like funny and whatever.
Um, my friend and I go to Woody Harelson's weed bar. Oh, so I'm like doing my deep meditations as usual, and I basically just put out there, what should I write next? I have that idea, couple others, whatever. I'm like, which one of these things should I do? Within like 24 to 48 hours of asking that question into my meditation, [laughter] my buddy and I uh go to Woody Harelson's weed bar out here in LA. It's called The Woods. Weed.
What is a weed bar? What do you uh you can like buy weed in there and then they have like a little area where you can sit and smoke in the back and there's a bar that you can get drinks and stuff if you want.
Okay. Um so we're in there and we're sitting there, we're smoking a joint and this woman comes out who works at the place. We see a little black cat walking around with a collar and a bell on it. And this woman who works at the place, she's in a t-shirt with the logo of the place. Walks out and she's got a laser pointer and she's like putting it on the ground and the cat's chasing and stuff. And we're just sitting there like, "This is crazy. That cat like lives in this.
There's like 40 people in here just [ __ ] smoking we cat's high as hell." And that's just that cat's life. And the cat was super friendly, jumping into people's laps, whatever. We watch her play with this cat for maybe like two minutes. And I'm not [ __ ] you. An identical black cat with the same collar
comes out of a [ __ ] bush and now there's two of them. Two identical [ __ ] cats. I'm watching them play and I'm like, "Well, I guess that's what I'm writing next."
H insane, right? I just told you my [ __ ] Wiccan candle story. Yeah. Something's happening. Reality is collapsing or expanding or I don't know, however you want to look at it.
I'll take it. Um absolute idiot. It absolute id do it. Nigel Farage resigned his UKC amid corruption probes over undeclared donations and is rerunning main parties skipped the race leaving Satis Count Benface as his sole opponent. I saw Count Benface on the news. Did you see this?
No. It's a dude who wears like a trash can on his head. [laughter] It's pretty wild. There there's I mean crazy shit's going on everywhere I guess in the world politically, but Count Benface is among the best.
Okay. Side of the ham 420. Haley, are you concerned for your safety at the bakery after achieving your quote fame? People's be crazy out there. Skin's glowing so much I had to turn down. [snorts] Um, only when I like I've been staying late and not like walking to my car until it's like pitch black and it's in those moments where I'm kind of like so I get out my mace and my taser and I just hold them like this
like this. Yeah, I really do. Anyone who may be out here, let it be known. Um, [snorts] really my whole life walking to my car at night alone, I will always have weapons in my hands. my whole life. Have
you seen those uh taser jackets? No, they they're jackets. I I saw this many years ago. I don't know if they still make them or not, but they're jackets basically that have like a battery pack in the pocket. You put your hands in the pocket, press a button, and the jacket is on. And if anybody touches you,
touches the jacket. Okay, you're going down. I will get one. Yeah, getting that. Um Victoria McDonald, thank you very much. The one from none. Chad's reaction to Mary Lou clicking was priceless, but should have used Trump's quotes about Mueller, about Graham. I don't know what they are.
I don't either. I was just looking up Graham's quotes about T Rump. Um, yeah, her her switching over on this was like [ __ ] wild to me. That ice thing really is like that's one of the last pieces that she's still kind of clinging to, I think, and it's gone now,
right? Um, she doesn't have much in terms of like things that she thinks Trump is doing well. She doesn't have much left. She keeps saying the border, but ICE is kind of tied into that and she's turning on ice now a little bit.
Um, Jorge Alejandro 672, are you guys watching X-Men 97? If you're not, you're seriously missing out. I have not watched it. It's a animated project by I forget who the [ __ ] is making it now, but um, it just is like a rehashing I think of the old X-Men cartoon, right? But I am trying to collect the entire Magic the Gathering Marvel set over,200 individual cards.
Okay. One of which is worth $30,000. Okay. Jeremy Nita 201 Alexander James Emmery OKC white supremacist news story. Disgusting. This is USA. Do you know this one?
No, I don't know this one either. Our apologies. Um, Lindsy B257, is this the start to eating crow? No, I don't think there's ever going to be an eating of the crow. I think there is going to be a not MAGA anymore and that'll be it. No apologies, no accountability for any past um, beliefs, supporting of any beliefs, any of that [ __ ] It's
just going to be a I'm I'm not MAGA anymore. That's and that's fine. That's honestly uh you know, it took us four whatever years to get here. We're almost there. I'll accept it.
Yeah. Steo P. Hello from New Jersey. Watched every dudesy app. Ah, thank you very much. And Mary Lou is about 9500 dudesy points. Well, [laughter] dudesy forever will be one of my favorite projects that I have ever worked on. Uh I on an almost weekly basis see something or hear something that reminds me like there's crows all around where I live. I'll just see a [ __ ] crow and I'll just hear crow.
He's a crow. [laughter] Mhm. Rainbow Bacon 1996. Chad, have you heard of a band called King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard? I have not. I think you'd like them. Very experimental psychedelic band from Australia. All right. Interesting.
I had a lot of Australian people respond to what was happening to us in the news. Oh, like someone literally called me from Australia while I was at the bakery.
The [ __ ] What was your reaction? Good. Put another shrimp on the bar. Goodbye, mate. Damn. A knife. It's a knife. Yeah. I don't know. It's crazy.
Do you know the story of Crocodile Lindy? How that movie got made? No. Paul Hogan, the guy who played Croc Dund. Mhm. Was friends with the guys in a band called NXS, also from Australia.
In a Why are you tell you're explaining to me what NXS is? Like I don't know. And that I don't know that Michael Hutchkins and all of them are Australian. sing one of their songs.
Devil inside. I need you tonight. Every single one of us. [laughter] The devil inside. Never tear us apart. God, they had so many good ones. Um anyways, they were all friends and in Australia there's like big tax writeoffs if you donate to the arts basically. So Paul Hogan was like, "Give me a couple million dollars to make this movie." And they were like, "Great tax write off and and we get to help our friend." And then it's like giant global blockbuster and they all made [ __ ] shitloads of money.
Very good. Um, okay. Rose productions. Hi Haley. I'm coming to Hive when you open on Wednesday 22nd. We will get a pick with you. Will we get a pick with you or should we not bother you? So cool how Hive has blown up.
Yeah, I take pictures all day long. Just ask my just say ask the cashier. Say, can we get a picture with Haley? I'll come out.
Nice. Bernie Beltran 3282. Today's episode was huge. I agree. And seeing Chad's face twitch as Mary changed her stance on [laughter] ice was hilarious. I don't even I haven't looked back at the footage yet, but as I cut clips, I'm sure I'll rewatch it.
Yeah. Uh I don't even know what my [ __ ] reaction was. It literally broke my brain for a second. I was fully exp I had like 10 questions queued up for her about
ICE not why weren't they wearing the body cameras and is this just how they're going to like execute people in cars and always use all this [ __ ]
and as soon as she was like this is disgusting I was like my questions are gone I I none of this makes sense anymore. [clears throat]
It [ __ ] just like warped my brain in a good way obviously. Yeah, it was good. Captain Goku 2280. Hey, fellow libs. Did you hear about Cash Patel and the FBI trying to get involved with Graham's death? No.
I heard Cash Patel was on his way to um watch his girlfriend do a a show and then Trump called him back to the White House for some unknown reason. I guess to like reprimand him or something. I'm not sure exactly. people are talking about it's because of his like just generally the behavior he's exhibited like partying with the um the uh [ __ ] US hockey team and all that [ __ ]
Yeah, he's gross. Agreed. And stupid. Just seems very dumb. It's it's like to me the person you want as the head of like the FBI, the CIA, NSA, any of these um kind of law enforcement or spy operations or whatever. You want those to be the smartest [ __ ] people in the country.
Yeah. Trump has [ __ ] in all of these uh positions. Correct. Hash Patel being foremost among them. Correct. Um, Ancestor Harriet, did your mom see coverage of Haley on her news?
She did. I got a text message from her and she said, "What? You were on Newsmax?" Oh, on her news. Well, I don't know where she saw me, but it was somewhere. She texted me and said, "Did you know you're on Fox News?"
Damn, that was that. Cool. Side of the Ham 420. Chad, I have a co-orker who doesn't think your podcast is real. Nothing's real. Your is correct. He has seen clips and thinks it's all fake or acting. Can you give a shout out to artist Dookie to let him know this is real, not fake. Hi Dookie. It's not real. Nothing's real, but there's no acting or anything. These are the identities that we inhabit in this reality. Having actual conversations about politics based on the views that we possess.
Oh my god. I'm I always forget it's Jana, right? Jana doll like Jana. Yes, there it is. It's Jana. I got it. I got it. I have to reverse my my initial impulse to say Jana. It's Jana.
Two more hours with that Nate Valhalla guy and I think that Maryl will come around. He did a great job. Will he come on the necessary conversation? Yeah, I I bet he would. Maybe I'll have him do that in the next couple of weeks. I'm I'm about to start gallivanting though. Love Island is ending, which means my other show that covers reality TV, we're going to take a little break. I'm going to take a two week vacation uh the end of the month through the beginning of next month. So, I'm not sure how we're going to do that. We might do one Sunday
episode or something in those two weeks because I'll be gallow gallivanting. Uh and then after that, maybe we could get something like this going. Forest epidote epidote gummies today. Iawaska tomorrow. [laughter] You got this, Marylu. You think we can get her to do an Iawaska shaman thing?
No. No. I think she would. I think mushrooms would help her. The micro mom. Thank you very much. The one from none. Once Hunter joins you guys, she'll be riding with Biden.
I think I I don't know. Like I think he might be able to charm her a little bit like Hassan [ __ ] Mhm.
Politically, ideologically, they couldn't be [snorts] more opposed, but she loved him. Yeah. Yeah. It just takes a little bit of rez. Yeah. I don't know. Well, I'm I'm actively trying to work on that. Who knows if it'll ever happen. Davis Angel won. VHT was great. Chad, write down Don't Be a Sucker, the 1947 propaganda flick from the US government. You forgot about it. Let me find Let me find things to do here.
There's papers. Here's a pen. Don't be a sucker. How long is it though? That's the thing. Don't be a sucker. Um, I'm just not sure like asking my mom to watch something that's an hour long, if it is indeed that long, which I feel it might be. I don't think that will ever work. Corone de Melone 69, praying for Bald Recovery. Thank you very much. Let him know we can't wait to see how high his [ __ ] is stacked. you don't even want to know. It [laughter] it is stacked very high or or was at one point anyway.
Um Rose Productions thinking to start a political pod with non voting family. My grandma and teen cousin. Name the civil conversation or bridging the gap. Your thoughts, advice? Uh both good names. Whatever you prefer. Um, I think of course having conversations with your anybody in your family about um, politics or whatever else obviously has worked for us. I wish you luck on it. Um, advice just do it every week. Make sure you're diligent about that. You know, that's the best advice I would give to anybody doing any podcast.
Do it every week. 75 Thin Lizzy, hello from Denmark. Love the show. Hello. Back to you in Denmark. Guy pie 88. [clears throat] Game of roses question. Chad, please tell me your thoughts on KC. He had a few rough moments, but I swear it was an unjust villain role. # ride the stash. Um, this is a Love Island question. Casey is both the worst and best male player. You rarely see that. It's in baseball what we call feast or famine. That means you are when you're up at the plate, you are either hitting a home run or striking out. That is him in Love Island. Every play he
makes is either the worst play a guy has made all season or the best. that puts his overall game somewhere in the middle. And because those terrible plays put him in a villain role, he's not seeing the Instagram and Tik Tok gains that he should be seeing. Not like Caleb. Caleb currently has the the highest cumulative Tik Tok and Instagram score of anyone and he barely even played a game. It was just that he made no errors. He was there and kind of doing nothing and then he got a little bit of a victimization at it and that's it. 2 point I think he's at 2.6 million
or something right now. [ __ ] Um, I think Casey is a good player who made some very bad plays and unfortunately that's all anyone cares about. Side of the ham 420. Get Bell of the ranch on the show. She cool.
Nope. Don't know it. Gills Gily 8660. Where did the term did come from? Where I'm from, it means boobies. My family [laughter] all had the same reaction when I was watching the pod and said, "Is that not his his mother he's talking to?"
It's a known thing. Like, I got a diddy. A diddy. It's a I got a little thing to tell you. Yeah. Um d t y. It's It just means like short song basically.
Um and I think she started calling it that. Yeah. At some point. Yeah. I don't believe we put that on her. Lace Lace 22. Haley, you're a boss and it fits so nicely in Portland, Oregon.
I'm trying if I can get I'm trying to buy a building so I can open a Mega Hive here and then I want to branch out and go to like the Pacific Northwest, open a couple in New England. I'm trying.
Oh [ __ ] She got plans. I got plans. Paula from Paula from Minnesota, I think that is. I started to cry when Mary Lou said that she hates ice. Also, I loved the Friday episode. It opened my eyes to another conservative view. Hope you do that again. Yeah, I do too. I'm I'm down to do that kind of stuff all the time. I think it's um it's super helpful for
Nahala. Anybody really, but yeah, I liked him. Um Antonio Rigo Trio Antonio Trigo 6928. Love you, Libs. Thank you. 1.5 years. Haley, will you ship goods to other states? I live in New Mexico. Chad, you still play Overwatch? I haven't played in a long time. Path of Exile 2 kind of took over my video game playing. Have you tried Shion? No, the new character. I have not. Keep up the good work. Thank you.
I am, like I said, I just came up with like a cookie program. It's 12 different cookies. They're all going to go in a box. There's going to be regular, gluten-free, or vegan. Um, I have to get into a new spot because I've outgrown the space that I'm in. So, as soon as I can get up and running somewhere else, we're going to start shipping nationwide.
Nice. I uh am turning off the super chats now. We're going to get through all the rest of the ones that we have. Thank you everybody who has submitted. I'm going to turn them off in three, two, one.
Did it work? I think about Jack and Diane. Somebody's right in the comments. Have you seen that guy who made that video that goes um suck it on? It goes little diddy about Jack and Diane and it goes to the part where it goes on dog. And then every lyric after that he's like sucking on chili dog. Suck it on chili. Suck it on chili dog. Suck it on.
[laughter] Have you seen that? No. Is it the same guy that does the Lenny Kravitz like a dragonfly? A dragonfly very high. I think it's probably the same guy.
No, but that's just an edit, right, of the song. The dragonfly one. Yeah, this guy dog one is a guy in his closet singing into a microphone. [laughter]
It's [ __ ] hilarious. Look that up if you haven't seen it. I don't know what you would even look up. Look up sucking on a chili dog or something like that.
It's on TikTok. Yeah, it won't be hard to find. It's so [ __ ] funny. Um, oh god, where was I? Here it is. Desiree by note 50001. Chad Na, keep it up. It was so nice seeing the pod with Nate. Saw her eyes opening. You definitely need more guests. Today was great. Love from Omaha, Nebraska.
Thank you very much. Um, yeah, I agree. I I think the most progress we've made with my mom has really all come from the people we've either had on our show or have gone on their shows.
Yeah, I'm trying. I send please out to everybody that I want on the show, but I'm not getting responses. I really want Monty Mater. I think that she could do something. Um or Steve from Blues Clues.
He just friended me on he's in. Yeah. I didn't know that. He comes on and like he'll just kind of stare at the camera and say, "How's everybody feeling today?
What are you feeling about the state of the world?" You know? Okay. Yeah. All right. Lose clues. Nice. Um Forest Epidote again or Epido. Sorry, I don't know how to pronounce this. Any other upcoming guests planned? None so far. I'm working on some stuff. Obviously Haley's sending out her I'm trying to
Shalom. I sent one to James Telerico's people. Oh, that'd be [ __ ] great. See what they say. I think it's too much like he's going to come on at this thing and argue with a MAGA mom. Like [snorts] that [ __ ] is trying to win an election. I don't think he'll I don't think he'd do it.
Yeah, I don't know. We'll see. RCAST 312 also 10 years in states multiple visas now MD on perm resident card what's MD Maryland five more years till citizen but I'll stay Canadian thank you #vegan #fuckface [ __ ] eyes [laughter] [laughter]
sorry I just saw my eyes are getting so bad face nope Nope. [laughter] Nope. My eyes were gone. Brunk. As soon as I turned 50, it was just like, "Oh, I can't see [ __ ] anymore. It's [ __ ] over."
Bro, you're tiny glasses. Jesus Christ. I bought these at CVS. I use them to sort my Magic cards. Oh my god. Wow. Hi. But I can't see the screen now. That's the problem. So, I have
Maybe you should like go to an optometrist. been to them and they told me I need these glasses. Go buy them at CVS.
At CVS. Yeah. They said my eyes aren't bad enough for like a full-blown prescription. They were just like go to CVS and get the plus one or whatever the [ __ ] these are.
You're cooked. We all are. Jane Doll. Haley, you are a rock star. I laugh my ass off how you answer the phone calls from maggots. I did too. Finally saw how small your bakery is. Yes, you need a bigger space.
Yeah, people think I have like this massive operation. It's literally just 10 of us. Um, [laughter] we sold I totaled it up. We sold almost 9,000 baked goods in the course from Tuesday to Saturday and we closed and we closed on Friday and Saturday like 4 hours premature.
That's insane. Only 10 of us. We were all just looking at each other like, "How long can we keep this up?" And I was like, "Are you guys hating me? Do you want to go home?" [laughter] Cuz I don't Yeah, cuz this is my [ __ ] [ __ ] and I don't want to put it on somebody else. But they were all down for it. So, we were all hurting and it was terrible, but also amazing at the same time. But,
you know, when you run an oven all day long in a small space in Texas, it's [ __ ] hot. So, we were all at the end of the day just like, "Shut the [ __ ] up. Don't look at me.
Don't [ __ ] talk to me." Yeah. [laughter] It was It was a hard week. Everybody was like, "Yeah, shut the [ __ ] up."
Yeah, it was hard. Uh TJ RR2MC, love the show. UK viewer R. Trump Farage quit as MP after a money scandal. He's running again in the buy election to prove people still want him. Every party backed out. His only opponent is a bin. The bin might win, honestly. Yeah, we were just talking about that. I saw a little piece about Count McBace or whatever his name is.
[laughter] It's so [ __ ] insane. But it's like that's the state of politics even globally. And I think this is because of Trump.
It's like normalized insanity in politics in a way that has never happened in my lifetime. Yeah. Yogi Mel Melg99. Thank you very much. Natalie Peterson4181. Hey guys, last week I mentioned showing Maryl the alt-right playbook on YouTube. I think it would help Mary Lou let go of her alt-right identity and definitely keep educating her about racism and gender. It's what helped me. Alt-right playbook. Oh, write that one down, too. Again, if any of these things are like more than five minutes, it ain't going to happen.
Yeah, people are asking in the comments. My bakery is called Hive Bakery. We are completely sold out of merchandise. And when I say that, I mean literally thousands of pieces sold overnight. I still have to package that [ __ ] Um, we did just restock and uh we should have it like in a week or two and then wave number two hits. So, just give me a couple of weeks and we'll post more merch.
There you go. Justin Mater 5353. Chad, it's PDT, not PST or just say PT Pacific. Is it Pacific Standard Time? Is that not accurate?
I don't [ __ ] I have to ask you every [ __ ] time. What time is it for me? I don't [ __ ] know. PST, CST, ADT, PDT, I don't know.
Yeah, PST is a thing. Pacific Standard Time. So, what's PDT? Let's see. Daytime. Pacific Daylight Time. Now, let's really get to the bottom of it. Is PDT different than PST?
How about PYT? They are different. Uh PDT is one hour ahead of PST. PST is observed during the fall and winter. Um PDT is observed during spring and summer. So I guess we are in PDT now. Sorry,
you just got [ __ ] educated. But we're going to be in PST what? In a month, August, September, I don't know. That's still [ __ ] summer to me in in Texas.
Okay. Emily trademark one. Haley, my family and a group of like-minded individuals in Rock Wall want to come visit your bakery, but maybe the support is overwhelming right now. In a few weeks, maybe. Rooting for Mary Lou. Chad, you're glowing. Thank you.
Magic Gathering cards. I'm going to recommend you wait a couple weeks. Um, we literally have a line wrapped around the building and it's hot as [ __ ] outside and I got this [ __ ] business two doors down that's like bitching at me because we have a line
and you're blocking their entryway or something, right? So, people are standing like in front of their door. Um, and some people there's an awning so they're trying to like get shade and kind of leaning on their windows. Um, and they're [ __ ] at me right now. So,
you should come out with like um cold water in in water balloons and like a super soaker with ice water in it and just start drenching people who are out there. [laughter] Put on like a pair of red, please, a mohawk wig. Go. Hey, everybody out here for your baked goods. Let me help cool you down.
Right. Okay. No, the micro mom. Hey to my fave spice spicy YouTube allies. Okay. Can I box of cookies for my cookie business? I run events that create a safe safe for mental health creatives. You want some cookies? Send them to Hive. Um, Mandy Scanland 1434. Hey Chad, shout out from the pit. Hi. I have my game of rosé on ice. Ah, for a double duty celebration tonight, the Love Islands finale and Lindsy Graham. [laughter] Oh my god, brutal. Brutal. I hope you enjoy your game of rosé. That is a a wine that my other podcast has because my other podcast is called
Game of Roses. I hope you enjoy the finale tonight. It's Tminus. It's about an hour away. And then we're going to find out who wins season 8 USA Love Island, the most watched show of all time on Peacock. Hello. Are you here?
I don't watch Love Island. I don't [ __ ] care. Okay. I don't care. I did like Traitors, but I'm not watching Love Island. I refuse.
Why not? I've seen clips and it just looks dumb as [ __ ] Like, I don't care. I don't gaff. I don't give a [ __ ]
Not interested. [sighs] [snorts] Marta Brasoy. God, what is this one? Can you do this? Marta Brassoy Satum. I'm so sorry. I've really [ __ ] this one up. Mary Lou is so close. Love the pod. In the pit SINCE CHATTY BROADS. WHOA, THAT'S LIKE SEVEN years ago. Sleep with Chad's voice every night. My best part of social relationship. Heart emoji. Well, I hope that I drift you off into sleep just as anime does to me every night. Thank you very much for uh checking out this podcast and Game of Roses.
Law and Frasier. No, Landa Frasier. I do this every time. I do it every time. Law and Fraser. [laughter] Lwanda Fraser 62. Go Haley. Still no apology from Marylu. Thanks Chad.
Thank you. Uh yes. I I don't think she's going to apolog Oh, the apology for the slur. I keep forgetting that. And now as time slips by
I don't bring it up. I will try to remember that next week or on Wednesday if we do a Wednesday show with her. But I think Wednesdays might be you and me for a minute.
Um Jack Zillicanin from last week's episode. Mary Lou says Trump has no control over his trust but it made so much money because is a business because he's a business genius. I think is he running it or not?
Exactly correct. Um and even if he's not running it, he's profiting from it. And even if he's not directly running it, he's certainly telling his kids like, "I'm going to drop bombs in Iran, buy oil." [sighs and gasps] Jen and Tonic, Chad and Haley, great progress with Mary Lou today. Do you think Mary Lou has noticed that she starts walking away from the dark side when Bob isn't around? And do you think it would be beneficial to point this out to her? I think she definitely I don't know that it's like because he's not around. But I think it's more that she's uh focused on on
stuff in service of him, getting him better, hauling him around to hospitals and stuff like that. I don't think it has to do with him not being there. I think it has again more to do with her like the priorities in her life have shifted drastically from watching the news to like taking care of our dad. Um
she's not consuming it anymore 247 and she's having real life experiences with these very topics. And so I think everything has literally just opened her eyes.
Yeah, I agree. Dian, Demian, Dian, love you all. Your mother on the pod today was the best unexpected birthday gift I could have gotten. Uh, prayer hands emoji, heart hands emoji, I believe.
Yep. Thank you very much and happy birthday. I hope it's a good one. Happy birthday. 29 forever perhaps. K. Van Winkle 777. Also, they just released Mitch McConnell's proof of life pick. I'm still not buying it.
They did? At least. No. What kind of AI abomination are we about to find? McConnell resurfaces with proof of life after month of speculation. It's him sitting in like a hospital bed with his wife next to him, it looks like.
So, probably from the first time that he was hospitalized. Yeah, maybe. There ain't no way that's real. That's at least that's the picture I'm seeing. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. It's like, well, why isn't he on video then? Or, you know, I I don't know. I think they're trying to hold out um until whatever that August deadline is for the the next election.
Sabha W1 G6P. Thomas Jefferson studied Islamic history and Quran to draft religious freedom laws. one-third of African-American slaves are Muslim. Something for Mary Lou to research. Islam has been in US since 1800s,
of course. But it's this is like part of what Trump and his um administration do. They just select a nonwhite other and say this is the bad guy. This is why there's no jobs or this is why what whatever the you know specific problem in society is. They just blame some group. Muslims were that group at one point. Still kind of are. Uh, immigrants, LGBTQ, you name it. A a baker in Flower Mount, Texas.
Not notable. Why didn't you ask Mary Lou thoughts about the death threats and [ __ ] at Hive? That's all MAGA. Her people point out it's not liberals making those calls.
Have you talked to her about that? No, she hasn't really asked again. Preoccupied with other [ __ ] Yeah, that's a good point though, Gemini. Anyone notice Bob gets a lot more love now that he isn't on the show? Yeah, because it wears off. And this also I think like Lindsey Graham is getting this a little bit too. I was watching news coverage today as I was [clears throat] editing the show and stuff on um really I was watching it on everything. Fox, CNN, MSNBC, Newsmax. Of course, Fox and Newsmax are like, "Oh my god, Lindsey Graham was the second coming of Jesus. He'll be missed." Blah,
blah, blah. But even CNN and MSNBC were doing it. Like just completely discounting all the [ __ ] horrible votes that he's made in the Senate for terrible [ __ ] and his just [ __ ] being up Trump's ass for the past 10 years or whatever, you know,
just discounting it. He gave his life in service of this country and great friends with John McCain, all this [ __ ] It's like what?
I don't understand it. I don't understand it. Uh but this comment is to that point with dad, too. It's like the longer or the closer they get to death or the longer they're kind of like out of the spotlight that you haven't heard them say some deplorable [ __ ] you know? I feel like the more you start to forgive and whatever, which is good,
I guess. I mean, I was not upset when he died. Who? Lindsey Graham. No, me either. I was not upset. I likened it to Charlie Kirk. I don't [ __ ] care. He was a piece of [ __ ]
But is there any person like celebrity, any person you don't personally know that when they die you would be sad? I have one. Hasn't happened yet. Um, I don't know. Probably not. I just had this discussion at the bakery the other day, like probably five, six, maybe even, you know, as far back as 10 years ago. I feel like I would have been starruck if I would have seen a celebrity or met them or encountered them. Today, I don't think anyone could do that to me.
Yeah, you say that, but like I don't know how long I've been [ __ ] in LA now, 30 years or something. And when I started selling TV shows and movies and [ __ ] you start having meetings with like,
you know, legit giant A-list people pitching you their ideas or looking for a writer or whatever. And in the beginning, it was a little like I definitely had some meetings where I was like like could barely [ __ ] speak because I was like, am I really sitting in a room with this [ __ ] person like oneon-one and they're pitching me their [ __ ] weird movie idea? Um, but that faded pretty quickly. However, even after I had been out here for many years, had meetings with many celebrities, friends with actors, all that kind of [ __ ] there were still a few instances, not even
meetings, I just remember being like in a in a room five feet away from Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt once and I was just like, "What the [ __ ] They don't look human." Like, it's and the aura around them is some different ass [ __ ] So, I think like definitely or I remember too once I was in a Bank of America and I saw Dave Winfield, old baseball player, that almost buckled my [ __ ] knees because I liked him so much. But, um, there still are some people I think that can do it to me.
I don't think so. Like, I I don't know. I I love Noah Khan and I met him weird [ __ ] chance encounter in Joshua Tree at a small pizza parlor. Nobody else knew it was him. Nobody else gave a [ __ ] [ __ ] And I was like looking around. I was eating and I looked around my husband and was like, "Noah's behind you." Huh? Noah Con is behind you. No.
And he gets ready to turn around. I'm like, "Don't do that." [laughter] Don't [ __ ] do that. He finished eating. I didn't want to bother him after he finished eating. I just stood up and said I was a big fan or whatever and got a photo. And it was a little like that's the guy that I listen to that I pay money to go.
But I think all of that for me has kind of faded. Like this celebrity culture that exists is just so kind of it's disgusting.
Yeah. The $1,000 for a [ __ ] ticket to your concert. Celebrities who are like raping women and still going on talk shows. Like I'm just disgusted by all of it. So even if I see my favorite celebrity, it's just kind of like I'm over it. Wow, you've come a long way.
You get paid way too much [ __ ] money to do [ __ ] that's not even saving lives. Like, I don't [ __ ] care.
I don't care anymore. When you were in high school, Yeah. you ran into the Prodigy. Now, that was like blew my [ __ ] mind.
I know. You ran into the Prodigy in the airport and then for the next years of your life, you were Prodigy lifestyle. Every piece of clothing was a Pro Prodigy t-shirt. You did your hair like the Prodigy. [snorts] up. I was Keith Flint for Halloween.
Yeah, exactly. [laughter] I'm the fire starter. Twisted fire starter. Yeah. Celebrities are meaningless to you. Yeah. I don't give a [ __ ]
how far you've come. I don't give a [ __ ] All right. Carisberg. I think that's probably right. I think the reason she's so hesitant is because in her mind to denounce Trump is to denounce her husband. Bob is too far gone.
Mhm. Yeah, maybe. I I don't know. I don't know that that has anything to do with it. I think it's more personal for her about like
Yeah, there is that like like we were saying earlier, I don't think she's going to apologize or like take accountability or anything like that. But I think that's a piece of it too is that saying, "Okay, I'm no longer MAGA." Well, what does that
mean for like the past four years we've done on this podcast, everything she said in service of it? You know, I think that certainly is a part of it as it would be for anybody who's coming out of a cult or any kind of like big piece of your identity that you're completely reverting.
It changes your whole life. Yeah, for sure. Yeah. Me starting to get into like, you know, some woowoo [ __ ] definitely has changed a lot of my life.
Mhm. Yeah. I don't know. I'm about to burn some more [ __ ] candles. Nice. Twisted Marorrow. You say it's wrong to judge undocumented immigrants by their status instead of their actions. Why is it okay to judge billionaires by their status instead of their actions? What's the principal difference? The mere fact that you have a billion dollars is an action. [laughter] It's not status, it's an action. If you [clears throat] are not giving the money away, you are hoarding the money. That is an action.
Taylor Swift. Yeah. If look, if you're a billionaire, give half of whatever amount of billions you have away. Now you're a 500 millionaire. You'll be okay,
right? You'll be fine, right? And that money goes back into the system to help people. Um, I don't look at it as status. To me, that having that amount of money is an action and that is what I judge them on. Um, giant movie nerd TM Cow, as a screenwriter, how do you stay focused on whatever project we're working on? My writing partner and I have this issue. Uh, I don't know.
There's just a bunch of little faucets on in my brain kind of constantly. And when the when there's a movie or some whatever I'm writing, that faucet's just running until I finish and then it turns off and then another one starts. I don't know how to tell. I mean,
you just do it. You do what the brain demands. What's that? It's your autism. It's your tism. Yeah. Maybe autism, man. With it. [cough and clears throat] Look into that. If you can give yourself autism, I recommend it. Mhm.
Forest Epidote back again. Can see Chad, can you bring your cat into frame? Tell more about him. I don't know where the [ __ ] he is. Um, I don't know where he is. I'm sorry. His name's Scobby. He's a tuxedo cat. He's originally from France. He grew up on
He's not just a tuxedo. What's his uh He's a breed. He's like a mix of He's half Persian, right? He has like that smooshed [ __ ] gremlin face and those big ass eyes
a little bit. Yeah, he's very snaggle tooth now. Snaggle tooth. Very cute. And he's very uh mean. I don't know if you can see [laughter] there's here's an injury here. This little dot that was a tooth chunk. He now only has three of his canines. We had to have a bunch of teeth removed because he had what is known as tooth reabsorption.
Fun times. Um if he if I see him stalking around, I'll snatch him up and put him on camera, but right now I don't know where he is. Um, Isis Gomez 6068. Can you talk about DACA deferred action? I know Mary Lou's stomach will sink even deeper if she reads stories about how educated kids with clean record that are now being deported due to this administration. We talked about that when he was getting rid of it. Um,
God, [clears throat] whenever that was a year ago or something roughly, I think maybe a little less. But yeah, I I'm sure as it comes back into the news, we will definitely bring that up again. It's another one of his [ __ ] deplorable policies. Kitty car 11. Any progress with Hunter Biden? Not yet. I've been seeing him a lot and I'd love to see him here too. Love the pod. Keep fighting for the good fight. He was on Jim Aosta's show and mentioned us again.
Yeah. [sighs] What the [ __ ] Hunter? I'm reaching out. I'm reaching out to channels. I'm doing my best. We'll see what happens. DVRJN diverg.
Divergen. Divergen probably is it. Last week's up was so wild hearing Haley talk negatively about Taylor Swift. A year ago I got blocked by her for DMing asking how she's able to defend a billionaire. Swifty mode was too strong back then. Wow.
Usually I only block people that are like crazy. I'll just say that. Divergen. You got to unblock her now. Yeah. Um yeah, I'm over it. I don't know. For what it's worth, I've been blocked by several Bachelor players. [laughter] [snorts] TJ RR2MC also look into restore UK new party even further right than Farage and reform ultra hard right. Our prime minister was also just forced to resign as he wasn't charismatic enough. UK politics is Love Island ESC. Love you all. What's ESC? Love Island S. Ask
e s q ue e. Love you all. Heart emoji. Thank you very much. Um, all politics is [ __ ] love island. We literally have a reality TV show host is our [ __ ] president,
right? Like that's why and f there's like some Fox News people, right? Like wasn't he or Hex was Fox News and then you also have Duffy the transportation secretary was literally on real
and he met his wife there as well. Um, I remember watching them. People were on his ass recently because he has a daughter with Down syndrome and like openly uses uh lib slur.
Oh, Jesus Christ. Yeah. Way to go. Way to go. Way to go, bro. Sam Sational 33. Please ask Mary Lou when she's gone what she wants her legacy to be. If she's okay with it being who she presents herself on the necessary conversation. I know y'all say this isn't her.
It's an interesting question. [clears throat] I don't know if she thinks about it honestly, but I would be curious to to know what she would say to that. What do you think she'd say? Somebody who loved her family, was loyal to her family,
loved animals, loved animals. That's probably about it. Tomato lover 23. Hi, Chad and Haley. Hearing Mary Lou admit it was ice that killed Robert brought me to tears. Can't wait to hear her say, "Fuck ice."
Me, too. Agreed. We're going to get it. We're going to get it. What's that say? Finley. Finlay. Finley. Hey, Finley Healey 6747. Thank you very much. Feeling groovy in California. Hi. Are you worried at all about a Trump supporter buying the voting machines? Love your show.
Didn't that already happen, Elon Musk? Right. Um I I mean, all this [ __ ] with the elections, getting rid of that federal commission, firing all of the people who oversee federal elections is like, well,
are we all [ __ ] going to put anybody else back in those positions? And who are those [ __ ] people? Cuz I I don't know that those people even have to be um No, they do. I think they do have to be approved by Senate. But he's he's doing that at the federal level. Right now, the state elections still have whatever election commissions they have in place in each state, but a lot of those are already being [ __ ] over, especially in the red states. So, I don't know. I don't know.
This midterm is going to be real [ __ ] interesting. And then I think in the leadup to the next election, if Trump is still alive, he's going to try to [ __ ] run again. I agree.
We're in for wild times as always in American politics. [clears throat] Danis 79, did y'all know the player that got the red card for the US is a citizen by birthright? Yes, I saw this. Trump pulled strings to get him to play after taking the case to the Supreme Court to repeal the 14th. [ __ ] wild. Yeah, cuz he's Trump is a [ __ ] idiot and he doesn't he's just like American play or not. We need to put my thumb on the scale, get him back in the game. And it's like, you're trying to [ __ ] deport this guy.
By his logic, he's trying to deport his own [ __ ] wife and child. Well, no, of course not them, right? They're exempt. Not Elon Musk,
not Alain. Not yelling. Um, Ross Maine 3941. When do you think US peaked that you would return to? I mean, American Revolution. You weren't there, so you can't return to it.
Um, I'm not sure. I mean, I don't think it's ever been like there have always been like deep rooted problems in America, most of which I think come from systemic racism.
Yeah. Uh, I don't know. Like it's hard to say when when it peaked. So this is comparative. It's not saying when was it good, but when was it the best? I'm probably biased because this is when I was a child. The '9s seemed pretty [ __ ] good. But again, I was a child, so I wasn't like super aware of things going on globally, politically, even the in the US, whatever. But um and that was also like Desert Storm. Was that good? I don't know.
GW, now watch us drive. Yeah. I feel like mediawise the 80s for me 80s yeah is like very hard to beat me too
there is the music of the 80s the fact that MTV was coming out as this kind of new art form that was in lock step with music
all of the movies from the 80s too it was like the 80s were right before computer uh generated graphics really became ubiquitous across all movies and were used in everything so you still had like all the visual effects were optical printer and and matte paintings and stuff, you know, just has an aesthetic that is to me beautiful. Um, and it was kind of the peak of those technologies.
Then once computers came in, those technologies just all died. Like there aren't matte painters anymore. Nobody's using optical printers to do special effects. Um, so yeah, for me probably the 80s media-wise, probably the 90s in terms of like American lifestyle, I guess. But again, I don't know. These are just two decades that I was alive. I mean, yeah, that's what I that's what you return to because it's nostalgia. I don't remember politics in the 80s and 90s. I didn't give a [ __ ] I didn't know.
Yeah. So, for me, it was the best time. Right now, I'm hyper aware and I hate everything. [sighs and gasps] Yep. Once you know, you can't unknow. and it nitws. Could you please try the $1 per second to explain to your mother how much money a trillion is? It would take 11 days to earn a million. 31 years to a billion and 31,79 years to a trillion. I I just don't think using numbers to explain numbers are going to do anything to her brain.
Um maybe there's that guy who uses the cups. Maybe that might work on her. There's at least a visual representation of it. Have you seen that guy?
He stacks [clears throat] up like red um solo cups to show you like this one cup is a million dollars. Here's how many cups Elon Musk has and it's just like a [ __ ] wall of cups in a giant warehouse or whatever, you know?
Yeah. Jack Zilin, show Mary Lou a stop sign or oneway sign in Spanish. See if she can identify it. Point being, most traffic signs require zero language skills to understand. Agreed.
True. Agreed. Sam Sational 33. After her ICE stance today, I think we should reask from last week. All these exes, what's keeping Maril going? What does she support still? The border.
The border. He closed the border. The border. The border. The border. The border. Um, oops. One or no, sorry. Invis 25, tell Mary Lou, "It took my mom and dad 20 plus years to get a green card." So when people say just get a green card or citizenship grinds my gears.
Yeah. She just realized that she just got it. It took like the personal She has to have some kind of of a personal connection to someone experiencing the things that we talk about or it doesn't click.
Yeah. But now that is starting to happen like you're saying. I hate that dad is like going through all the [ __ ] Obviously, all this medical [ __ ]
but it has forced both of them to be put into that system, even having like what they consider to be good insurance. They're getting [ __ ] over.
Yeah. And they're having to deal with people like this nurse or whoever was helping mom that is like going through the process of immigration and telling them, "It takes a long time. I'm doing everything right, but I am scared." I think it requires that for them and it really is a um
I I think it's like a feature of MAGA, maybe even of Republicans at large. Lack of empathy. Yeah. They just don't they are not able to imagine what it could be like in a different circumstance than the one they are living. And so that circumstance, their own personal circumstance, has to somehow intersect with another person who is living a worse circumstance,
who is being affected by all these things that we can obviously see happening. And I don't know why that is exactly, but um it seems to be
a part of being Republican. I could be wrong. Um where was I? Captain Goku. Hey, Lib. Hey, Sibs. libs. Did you see the video about ICE punching a man in the stomach and kneeing him in the back?
Jesus. No. Did you see this? No. I I didn't see that one, but I've seen a bunch of [ __ ] now. I saw one of them where they're like tackling some guy on a
slam head like on the concrete. I saw that old guy. Jesus Christ. I saw that one. I saw one where they're they tackled somebody at like a high school graduation or something on the stage. On the graduation stage. It's like obviously this is all top down Trump and DHS and ICE, Tom Hman, all that [ __ ] for sure responsible. But at the granular level, these ICE agents, these are human beings saying, "I'm going to do this,
right? I mean, what the [ __ ] is going on? How many people do we have in this country that are willing to like murder people, beat the [ __ ] out of old people, yank babies out of mother's arms?" That to me is like the scarier thing. Trump and all these [ __ ] whatever. They're doing it for money and power and fine. But there's an army of [ __ ] who are carrying out those orders.
Well, I mean, you have entire We've been watching the news for years and years where uh black people are being shot and murdered by police officers. It's the same [ __ ] just on a larger scale.
Larger scale. But also like at least to me it seems like the kind of um the level of accountability or even the desire of society to hold these people accountable is like we're getting desensitized to it. Even how the news covers it and [ __ ] is just like, well, it's another tragedy. I shot another [ __ ] person that they weren't supposed to shoot. Anyways, Taylor Swift has a new album coming out. You know, it's like whoa, bro. What's going on?
because it's it's happening so often and there is nothing happening to these [ __ ] ICE officers. Nothing is happening, right? No one's being arrested. They do an internal investigation, which is like [ __ ] pointless, obviously.
None of these [ __ ] guys were wearing body cameras and they came out and said it's because the Democrats uh Right. So government
a year ago or whatever, right? Huh, bro? What does that have to do with your [ __ ] body camera? Well, I don't know. I feel like I agents should not be allowed to wear masks. I think we should be able to know who the [ __ ] they are and they should be held accountable. So, I don't know. It's a lawless land. It's literally lawless.
They're murdering people and getting away with it. Yeah. It's also like what like I understand at least at a on an intellectual level if you are here illegally they're going to try to deport you. Why do ICE agents have guns,
right, at all? Agreed. Why do you need to shoot people to deport them? That makes no [ __ ] sense to me. Mhm.
You can detain people. We've seen them by throwing them to the concrete or whatever. But I mean, you know, there's a much more civil way to do this. Even if you want to go through with that technique of physically apprehending someone, putting them on a plane, and flying them out of country, right? It should never require a gun,
right? Like armed armed [snorts] ICE agent at at [ __ ] elementary schools and [ __ ] It's just wild. It's crazy. Yeah, exactly. It's not like they're not stopping armed robberies. That's cops,
right? They're literally getting a list and being like, "This guy is an undocumented immigrant. Here's where he works or or here's his home address or whatever." And then they go there with [ __ ] guns drawn.
Yeah, I know. I don't get that at all. It's a terrorist organization. 100%. Yeah. Masked, no ID. The the recent killing, the one we were talking about today, they supposedly didn't [ __ ] identify themselves as ICE. So, this dude's just driving with his co-workers and two [ __ ] unmarked cars just start like coming up his ass. He's like, "Oh [ __ ] I got to get out of here." Of course, that's how you would react.
Yeah. Yep. I'm really actually surprised that we haven't seen more violence against ICE. We've got now three very high-profile just broad daylight executions by them.
Mhm. Yeah. Um did I get the right one? Bake bake bake key or bakei or bakeki bake Kentucky that's probably what it is. An whitome a ex member of parliament UK is suspected to have been killed a few days ago. Hello from Devon UK. [laughter]
I haven't heard anything about this. Expect suspected to have been killed by whom? Right. I would ask I don't keep up with parliament
big Ben Parliament thespian thespian it ty yes theianity do either of you play League of Legends I was addicted for some time but I have I have shuffled that off my shoulders I haven't played League of Legends in years but of course it's a very important game in the pantheon of video games. Um, Riot Studios, one of the biggest in the world. And now they have a card game, too, Riftbound, based on League of Legends, which I have not yet played.
Yeah, I don't play games. I'm not a gamer. Whoa. I don't play games. [laughter] I haven't played video games since like, you know, I played them religiously as when we were kids, like
Nintendo, Super NES. Maybe the last time I played video games was uh like we played with the kids when they were growing up. We had a Wii.
Yep. And all that [ __ ] Maybe Grand Theft Auto. I don't know. We I don't play games. I'm not a gamer. You ever get into any of the the current Zelda games?
Breath of the Wild and all that. Those games are amazing. Breath of the Wild. That one's Tears of the Kingdom. Is that one like new new?
Uh no. The newest one I think is Tears of the Kingdom. The kids played Zelda like up until about high school. So yeah, that's where I am.
Incredible. Yeah. Imagine Marcel maybe. 6421. Love the pod. You guys rock. Try doing a non-live recorded combo with mom to get her to leave MAGA, then post it if she leaves. Try doing a non-live recorded combo with mom to get her to leave MAGA, then post it if she leaves. I mean, that's what we're doing in every podcast and posting it whether she leaves or not. But eventually there will be one where she leaves and we will post it. I promise you this. Jennonic Chad Trump the day Mueller passed. Robert Mueller just unalived.
Died. Oh, just died. Good. I'm glad he's dead. He can no longer hurt innocent people. Yeah, I remember that. Yeah. I'm not like happy necessarily that Lindsey Graham died or anything or or like good. I'm glad he's dead. I'm not saying any of that [ __ ] but I also am not saying that he's a great [ __ ] guy,
man. I'm not saying it, but yep. Bob Joe 81. Hi, in a Bernie voice. Bernie Sanders, I am once again asking when you are going to watch don't be a sucker with your mom on the show would be very eye opening. That's my best Bernie Sanders. Thank you. Okay,
all I mean if it's 5 minutes or less, which I know it's not, so it's probably never going to happen. MRMvGT27 just in pick of Mitch McConnell released providing proof of life in jeans button down. Yeah, that's the one I saw. No machines or wristband definitely screaming ICU. Lol. Anyway, go. I'm looking at that picture right now. It is wild. Yeah, it's just like, oh, just taking a little field trip to the hospital. Look, they're letting me sit in a hospital bed. That's what it looks like. He's smiling and literally dressed like regular, like a day in the office.
[laughter] Mitch McConnell. Just Google Mitch McConnell, proof of life. I did. I did. And then click on images. Do you see that one? His wife is sitting next to him.
Get the [ __ ] out of here. Yeah, this is some AI [ __ ] I don't know if it's AI, but it definitely a prank. Coco Cary 19. First life I've caught. Yay. Just about choked when your mom condemned ice. I agree. I couldn't believe it. Let's [ __ ] go. Marylu almost there, y'all. Yes, we are. We're getting very close. Linda Martinson 9046. Late and need some sleep, but going to watch it tomorrow.
Love the pod and the collaboration lately with Valhalla and more. Keep up the good fight. The rest of the world needs it. Hard emoji. Love from Sweden. Sweet flag emoji. Thank you very much. Uh, Tess Irish 1201. Super proud of Hive Haley. Planning on coming by before hopping a flight to Ireland this week. Go Libs. Come on, Maryl. Almost there.
Thank you. You got a a wee bit of the Irish coming to visit you. They don't. That's not Did you happen to see a Conor McGregor?
That's like a Hallmark movie. Irish accent. see Conor McGregor's fight. And I'm glad. And I hope that he never fights again. And she's glad. She hopes he never does a fight again.
I [ __ ] hate Conor McGregor. I don't have any strong feelings about him. Mary one question for you. Good. He literally he raped a woman.
What? I didn't know this. Conor McGregor. Jesus. They had to surgically remove a tampon from her body. What the [ __ ] And then he beat the [ __ ] out of her and they she took him to court and he lost. He owes her money.
What the [ __ ] He's a rapist. Jesus Christ. Yeah. I had not heard any of that. Well, Google it. Google. Question for you, Haley. How do you go viral with a cheesecake? [sighs]
I got the answer. MAGA snowflakes. Yeah. Yeah. They were the ones who made her viral. Um, some beach 11. Hey Chad, if voters only saw politicians 24/7 like Love Island contestants, would it um make us trust them more or less? Haley, love your goodies, girl. We don't see Love Island contestants 24/7. We see a 1-hour cut down of a 24-hour period. We are seeing only what the producers want us to see.
I personally, if I was president, the first thing I'd do is install live feeds in every room in every government building in the United States.
Mhm. You can watch it all, pal. I think they should be on camera 24/7. I think we should get to see everything they [ __ ] do.
Mhm. That is the, in my opinion, the burden of being a public servant is we do get to know everything about you. You ran for this,
right? You asked us to elect you. You now work for us 24 hours a day. That is not a nineto-five job. So, I think we should have access to them for that amount of time. Um, Koko Carey 19, your mom's answer would probably be different um pre your dad getting sick, but what do you think it would take for your mom to leave your dad slash change his views?
She's never gonna leave our dad. Uh, and he's never going to change his views. Yeah, none of there is nothing cannot happen. Nats 8965. I enjoy Haley's little sis eye rolls to Chad's nerd outs.
Do I do that? Yeah, [laughter] you're very dismissive toward me. Angelina Fontanz, Chad Haley, please have Mary Lee look into cases of uh Tomla Horford and Kendrick Johnson, both somewhat similar to Nolan Wells. It's a pattern. Love the pod today. I I mean whenever you see like a Nolan Wells
thing that it kind of comes to the forefront of the news, I'm always acutely aware that it's like if we're seeing one, there's probably 20 that happened this week, you know,
and for whatever reason um because like one might be more horrific or uh this one happened on the 4th of July specifically at a Fourth of July celebration, whatever the case is, the news just like latches on to one. But yeah, it's it's happening all over the country. Um, Davis Angels, less than 20 minutes. I'm guessing that's the don't be a sucker thing. I'll I'll check it out.
Maybe I'll play it on 3x speed. She wouldn't be able to handle that. Alex Blackman, 1986. Do you think your dad's potential response to Marylu jenouncing Trump might be keeping her from doing it? Hey, from Fort Worth.
No. BFW. I don't think it has anything to do with it. No. Um, divergent or divergent. My request for Stonewall seemed to be good for Mary Lou last week. After today's episode discussing Nolan Wells, maybe have her look up Matthew Shepard's story, LGBT, not black, to maybe help her understand hate crimes aren't coincidence.
That might Do you think she remembers Matthew Shepard? That was a massive news story. She might remember that. Yeah, probably. That might be interesting to bring up with her. Thank you for the suggestion. Um, Kathern Perry, H4Y. Did anyone see that proof of life photo of MC? Yeah, we were just talking about that. Is that
It had to be like a a [ __ ] went to the hospital for a blood draw or like a routine checkup or some [ __ ] That's not of today. That's not 2026. I refuse.
Yeah, there's no [ __ ] way. I thought she was in China. Exactly. There's no [ __ ] way. Uh, three more questions here. [ __ ] Who knew? Mary Lou coming to the dark side is delicious. I agree. You're going to have to make her a some kind of a denounce Trump cake or something. We have to have like a full ass celebration
when this happens. Party. Maryl's coming out liberal party. Okay. Something like that. Yeah. We'll have to put a party hat on dad. And he's just in the background. Yeah, [ __ ] this [ __ ]
Yeah, get out of here. Let me wash my nose, man. Mercy one, are you impressed by your mom's bravery to do these three versus one interventions in front of large audiences? She is kind of a badass mom now. Yeah, I I'm always impressed by her sticking around and having this conversation with us in whatever form it takes. uh her and I I think like this I don't know if this is true or not but I think it might be true of most MAGA that there there is a willingness to have these conversations. There is like an open-mindedness that exists within most MAGA people that I think and I mean I'm
guilty of this too. People on the left kind of dismiss that that's even a possibility and you write off the other side. You write off MAGA as like [ __ ] you. I hate you. You're a piece of malicious [ __ ] Blah blah blah. And it's not necessarily true. It's just that like I think in our parents case, our mom's case specifically, they are missing that thing and it may be generational even, I don't know, that allows them to imagine themselves in the situation of another person. So, they have to come face to face with a person and have that one-on-one conversation
with somebody who is living a different life, who is affected by these things in a different way. Then, and only then, can they kind of try to like open up and uh and see that. And I think that's where she is, you know.
Yeah, I suppose. [sighs] I don't know. I I don't want to I don't know. I don't mind talking to mom and dad, but uh like if you're ma if you're Ma and you have a shitload of money. Like there's this seedy little bastard that opens businesses in our town left and right. He's a he's like a piece of [ __ ] He looks like a ventriloquist dummy.
Okay, that's what he looks like. um to okay set the stage. Anyway, he's like this mega millionaire and he opens all these businesses around this
millionaire. Yeah, that's what I call it. And um I don't want to talk to him. He's in it for the money. He literally was at Mara Lago for like the religious advisor's birthday.
Okay. He holds Trump rallies. He holds rallies for Greg Abbott. I don't want to talk to you. I don't want to [ __ ] know you. I'm not saying that every MAGA or every billionaire or whatever that every person has the capability to change or or be good, but I think generically speaking, the a wide swath, a large portion of MAGA
is like mom and dad where they just have never been exposed to people who are leading different lives, having different experiences that are being affected detrimentally by Trump, his policies, this administration. Yeah. And and when they meet a person like that, when they are forced to have an hourlong conversation with them on a podcast or any other way, I think it does open people's eyes that, oh, these are just people and they're being [ __ ] over.
Yes. But I would argue that the people who are super rich No. Right. But that's not the majority of MAGA. The majority of MAGA is exactly the opposite. It is people that Trump's praying on who who don't are not super rich. They're just
being grifted. Yes. And he's like, "I need more money. Give me your [ __ ] money." Yeah. I'll give you back $2,000. Yeah. There's uneducated people, but then like mom and dad are educated. Mha.
Mhm. They've been grifted. Technically educated. They went to college, but like, you know, I ain't reading no [ __ ] book. That the education stopped after they graduated. Um.
Yes. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah, I get it. Yeah. Yeah. We have one last question. It is from Tony P56301. Mary won't leave Maga without Bob, especially with his health. If she leaves Maga, it would crush Bob's world. A betrayal to the loyalty Mary talks about.
I don't think so. Emoji. I don't think so either. No, it's not like that. But I will say this in the dynamic of the relationship because of all of his health issues and stuff. Mom has now gained the power position in the relationship for the first time ever.
Head of the household. Yes. She's voting. Correct. And I do think that is a part of this. I think she is now starting to feel free to like make a little bit of her own decision in a a wide array of different things in their relationship and in their lives. And part of that I think is um politics ideology.
Anyways, thank you for joining us. This concludes our live show. We will be back on Wednesday. Probably just you and me. I can't imagine mom's going to be doing it.
What can you not do? I will do what I must. Do you want to do it live from Hive? I can. Can I?
You just need to take this computer there. Oh god. Okay, I'll figure it out if you want. I don't know. It may also be too loud or whatever. However you want to do it. We will have something for you out on Wednesday. Good luck to us all in about uh 10 minutes. Love Island finale USA season 8 drops. So, we get to see who wins. It will be Trevenicity. We all know that. But then tomorrow, we get to wake up like Christmas morning and see how many Instagram and Tik Tok followers they all got.
What? Yes. Why do you care? How many Spawn Con deals? Because I train these [ __ ] players. Did you train either one of them?
I can never disclose who I trained unless they disclose it. That's the deal I make with all of them. Oh, okay. I'm playing these reality shows like a video game against the producers.
Okay. And it's [ __ ] enthralling to me. Thank you for joining us. We'll see you Wednesday.
