America is deeply divided there are only two sides to every issue and there is no interest in finding common ground not even with members of your own family but as the 2024 presidential election Looms on the horizon there has never been a more important time to have the necessary conversation hire somebody but that means I have to train and that's hard right now yes the [ __ ] are you doing took my old ones this is a podcast a YouTube channel where two adult children myself and my sister ha have open and honest conversations with our parents about politics in America they are deep red State Maga Trump loving God-fearing American citizens and my sister and I are not what was that move mom what Haley did all right well we have only a few weeks until the election is happening days 23 days in this country until the next president presential election between k Harris and uh the orange one Donald Trump who will win we don't know but we're counting down to it and I assume that episode right before and right after that election is going to be absolutely insane before we begin I do have four topics today but before we begin mom you like to do some diddies you remembered I'm so proud of you di TTY not di D DD why because that Diddy is in big trouble as well we all know okay my diddy the first one is Obama you know they had to Wrangle him up to put him out in front of people uh for Harris now like they've unlashed the what the Titan the or whatever he's out there um he said to a group of black men you know don't be afraid because she's a female you know we we need to support her she's a woman you need to vote for her well he should have just said a vote for her will be a vote for me I'll run your country for four more year years so just vote for me again that's what he should have that said there's no money there he's part of our government so do we believe that or not no I believe what all the different Governors and Mayors and stuff of all the different cities that have been hit hardest are saying which is Biden's on the phone with them every day and they're getting everything they need oh okay I believe the people that say that is [ __ ] Ron santis is saying that right I believe that right you don't believe D santis I believe that they're not getting what they need the people I've seen a lot of clips and stuff saying we're not getting what we need of course it was a a major disaster two hurricanes backtack just decimated Florida they're not going to be able to solve this overnight there are going to be people hurting from this suffering from this for the next I mean remember when Katrina happened yeah months and months it took years it's terrible for New Orleans to come back online and and kind of be any anything resembling what it what it was prior to that okay so I don't think you can expect an immediate fix to all of this okay my last ddy are you okay with my diddies my last ddy um when we started this podcast which how many episodes are we on now Chad 80 something 90 we've been doing the script says 81 but I don't think that's right we've more than that yeah feels like five six years no we've been doing it forever but when we started it you seeing all the facial cues and they're looking directly at or so it seems and so it builds in you this thing called a par social relationship that is what you are fostering with anybody who's watching us on YouTube and those parasocial relationships can feel very real and so the emotions involved are very real be they good be they bad and that's just a the price of doing business if you're making media for everybody to see well now I know what haly feels like and it doesn't feel good and for a while you're like oh okay whatever but then you push back don't push back though you're you're falling into a trap you should never interact with the negative comments there's just no point in it no I don't I don't with the negative I do with the nice people and I know who's nice all right well wondering how she feels about working to get Camala Harris elected by baking her cookies and putting them online and all these endorsements when kamala's Administration is taking our tax dollars to fund a genocide now I have a feeling Haley you might say something like well Trump is worse if that is how you feel I have a follow-up question which is what has Trump done or does he plan to do that is worse than taking our tax dollars to fund a genocide thanks wow Haley to you but we can all have a discussion about this but specifically that question how do you feel about KLA Harris's Administration in quotes she is the vice president as we know not the president so it's technically not her Administration how do you feel about her in quotes Administration uh using your tax money for genocide uh I've already said I don't love kamla Harris I've explained why I'm voting for her not Trump I do not condone [ __ ] genocide of any group of anyone ever uh so this is obviously something that I think think no one on the left likes we know that money from the United States is being funneled into Israel like we know that um I don't know I don't like it it's not like I love genocide uh however the alternative is Donald Trump who will also probably do the same [ __ ] I don't feel like he's going to sever ties with Israel I feel like it will still be the same scenario uh I'm voting for rights of women rights of the lgbtq plus Community there is an entire [ __ ] storm that has happened in the United State since 2016 that I believe kamla Harris will [ __ ] reverse um I'm looking for a better quality of life for everyone that I know and love uh so I mean genocide is never a good thing uh and we all know that it's happening we all know that the United States has been funding is even before kamla Harris uh you know today so there's nothing I can do about that I'm still voting for her I need to secure my [ __ ] children's futures um I hate politics same I literally I hate politics it's if if I don't want to vote for either of them but like I said you have to choose which one you if you're if you're part if you if tomal Harris wins your children have no future hang on hang on a second to both mom and dad now dad you've been very vocal on this very program about how you love genocide you're a full supporter of genocide you talking about Israel uh Israel wiping out all Iran yeah and the hoodies and yes I'm 100% And so Biden is fully funding that genocide but you don't like B no he's not fully funding it he's barely trickling in [ __ ] okay you don't think that the Israelis get weapons from us yes but they need about 10 times more so they can get this [ __ ] over with and stop 10 times more they're just steamrolling the entire region all right I'm just trying to get to the point that Haley has the ability and I do too to say we don't like K Harris we don't like the current state of American politics but you'll vote for that ignorant fool anyway right that's what I'm saying we can say there are things we don't like about the candidate we're voting for I have never heard you or Mom say that there's anything about Trump you don't like there isn't okay I rest my case um you I hope that was a satisfactory answer I'm in the same camp as Haley and I'll just I'll offer my answer as well I I don't like American politics at all I think it is it's bloated it's all about money uh I don't think any of these politicians really care about the greater good of the American population let alone the global population and you're never presented with a choice in this country I think or at least I have never been presented with a choice of somebody who represents exactly what I think should be done in government because my personal belief is it needs radical overhaul I would get rid of as many people as I can I would make most of it controlled by AI or at least online voting in terms of where money goes I I just think that like the people in politics are what make it very bad and what make it completely corrupt because once you get a taste of ah if I just pass this law and make it a little easier for me to do insider trading I can make $100 million Pelosi I'm talking about specifically but they all do it um I think as soon as you get that taste it's like this is so easy and the you you get to a point where you feel like the system can't actually change because it is so gigantic and there's so many it's such a shitty feeling it's a shitty feeling because you see people like uh AOC and I truly believe that she gives a [ __ ] I really honestly believe you know the way that she presents herself how she articulates every it it seems so genuine I really believe that she gives a [ __ ] about the American people however once in office will you do us dirty over a [ __ ] $30 million deal with whoever you know it's a bad feeling that you can't ever trust any politician you never know what they're going to do and there even somebody like AOC who let's say that she is not yet corrupted by the money machine in Washington DC eventually you get to a point where you've been beating your head into the brick wall for so long that you realize like nothing will change and now you're just trying to keep your job because you've been a senator for 10 years do you really want to go back to trying to do something else you know um I just think the whole system is very bad and it has been for a long time and I think money is the reason how about who is most stupid as a politician um Camala Harris on The View I didn't watch it but I did see the one little line they asked her um would you do anything to change like the last three and a half years that Biden and you had done anything to change she said I can't think of one thing let's see how about the 300 and what are we up to 20,000 children that they don't know where they're at whether they're Dead Alive now she wouldn't change that how stupid are youd Trump would say the same thing Donald Trump would say the same [ __ ] no Donald Trump is screaming that from his voice he hadn't ignorant enough to go on the views he's screaming and have somebody like and it are you paying for it of course you are then after these comments were met with opposition from politicians and scientists she responded responded by tweeting yes they can control the weather it's ridiculous for anyone to lie and say it can't be done in televised remarks from the White House Biden said marrey Taylor green the congresswoman from Georgia is now saying the federal government is literally controlling the weather we're controlling the weather it's beyond ridiculous it's so stupid it's got to stop one of Green's own GOP colleagues rep Carlos Jimenez of Florida wrote in response on X on Wednesday morning saying humans cannot create or control hurricanes anyone who thinks they can needs to have their head examined another Republican uh Chuck Edwards of North Carolina put out a statement that read hurricane Helen was all caps not geoengineered by the government to seize and access lithium deposits in Chimney Rock nobody can control the weather Trump has not yet responded to the idea of Democrats controlling the weather mom I'm going to go to everybody one by one mom are the Democrats controlling the weather no dad are the Democrats controlling the weather no Haley no so become a licensed attorney is between 3500 and 5500 this doesn't include living expenses while preparing for the exam doing that I got a horse to feed the requirements yeah that's what I'm looking for hang on a minute probably just you have to have an undergraduate it can be too damn hard Kamal Harris passed it you have to have an undergraduate degree you can't walk off the street and say I want to pass the bar practicing LS in California must be licensed by the State Bar the state Bar's admission requirements are set by blah blah blah uh register as a law student or attorney applicant begin the admissions process by registering as a law student we would register I guess as an attorney applicant um track the status of an application you have to have your social security number California lawyers can meet the legal education requirement in different ways most receive d d i don't I wonder if illegals could just walk in there and say I'd like to pass the bar exam it is it says most receive a jurist doctor JD degree from law schools registered by the State Bar California credit or appr so looks like you do need to have some kind of a law degree but like we don't got that we just have undergrad degrees Yeah we can go online we otherwise we could pay $20,000 and all four of us could take it yeah all right something to think about and then we could pay off the judge who would be I don't know something Willie Brown okay let's move on to our second topic Iran has been openly threatening uh Trump and those who oversaw his National Security strategy since January 2020 when Trump ordered a drone strike killing CM solomani Iran's most powerful military General at the time Tyron has put out videos depicting the future deaths of trump and others who helped orchestrate the solomani attack pushed for their arrest and extradition and issued menacing statements promising Revenge the doj's Assistant Attorney eneral for National Security Matt Olsen said quote this is extraordinarily serious Iran has made it very clear that they are determined to seek retaliation against former officials in connection with the solomani strike not only is Trump getting support from the doj but even Joe Biden warned Iran of the consequences in case of an assassination attempt on Donald Trump or former US officials he said any assassination attempts would be considered acts of War Mom and Dad let's go with Mom first do do you agree with Joe Biden what is the what did he say that that is any assassination attempts will be seen as acts of War right and he'll do nothing so it's already happened he'll do nothing he's been it hasn't happened what are you talking about there was an assassination attempt there's not from Iran yeah you think the guy who by the way there's Now act of War I don't know like do we want to wage war over that no I mean I say no interesting I do agree with him especially right now like if it was not an election year if it was and Trump was like out of the the entire political picture um maybe it's a different story but like if they try to assassinate one of the two major party American presidential candidates in like 3 weeks before the elections I would say that is a a pretty big shakeup of the American political world and and could be construed as an act of War I just hate him so much I hate him so so much that like when you say that you know my knee-jerk reaction is like I don't [ __ ] care but you know you obviously shouldn't be assassinating people I don't know but to wage an entire [ __ ] War over Donald Trump I don't who's vying to become president of the United States is difficult to work with and demand certain levels of respect she's not president of anything when she was demanding levels of respect she was quoting the president of the United States that's right let's simmer down a little bit last week we discussed Haley's cookies her Waltz Harris cookies have gone viral this is global news and I wanted to get an update see how went this past week are you still getting inundated with orders have you figured out how to ship the cookies are you getting uh death threats still are you getting well wishes how's it been going uh kind of like pandemonium um I'm cranking these [ __ ] cookies out like as fast as I can uh we are selling out every day by like 2 3:00 I'm having to rebake rebake rebake um I haven't received any death threats I still get you know just like the [ __ ] troll comment here and there like in my [ __ ] Facebook Instagram all that [ __ ] like uh barf gag you know 2024 you know just [ __ ] um we've had people come in from all over the country like yesterday I counted 12 different states represented in the bakery just on a Saturday holy [ __ ] what was the furthest one from Texas uh Alaska whoa they came there specifically to get your cookies or they were just there and decided to drop by they said all of them were there for well not all of them some of the people from like Oklahoma um like surrounding states came like just to support us that's cool but but the ones that were coming from far away uh they were here in town to see relatives or on business and they said we saw your [ __ ] had to come support so like we sold out of our merch it's gone and when I say that it was like literally probably 600 pieces of merchandise damn I had to order I had to reup the [ __ ] order and now we have like you know probably almost a thousand pieces is what I ordered it's already half gone um so that means there's like over a thousand people just like out there and not just the United States like we s we're sending [ __ ] to New Zealand the Netherlands Germany like what the [ __ ] Thailand I don't know are you going to make me the Trump cookies and then when Chad comes he'll eat his other cookie if I have time I'll put a [ __ ] Trump face on a cookie um oh I'm making I'm making anywhere from 10 to 14 dozen of these cookies every day five days a week Jesus stamp one and I people will come in to buy one or two of those and then obviously buy other [ __ ] buy merch uh so we are tired um but I'm I'm trying to pump out as much as I can as fast as I can my staff is looking at me like it's we're [ __ ] insane because there's only six of us doing this yeah and people think that we're like a big you know like a chain Bakery and I've got like all these [ __ ] there's six of us and some of them aren't even full-time okay like I've got part- timers in here looking at me like what the [ __ ] um they've all been Troopers though it's been good they get the weird phone calls and they just look at me like do you want to take this um so yeah they've all been Troopers uh but yeah we're double timing it right now we what do you mean the weird phone call we still get phone calls like you know um just weird [ __ ] like I bet those cookies are made of dog [ __ ] and then they hang yes and then they hang up yeah and then they just hang up yes God why why do that I don't know it's the equip of like of sending off like a mean comment or something tweet or whatever it's just the twoin hate is that so if you would if you would do Trump stuff and post it do you think like that they somebody would come burn your store down I mean would it be a trump why would she post it yeah I'm not posting it I don't I don't want to sell Trump cookies I don't want him to win okay what I'm saying though if you did make them and post it but she's not would somebody so that's a stupid question that's not a stupid question would somebody really come and take you down for a trump cookie yeah no they question it like why the [ __ ] are you doing it uh I don't know people say weird [ __ ] there somebody was like I'm just gonna come in and buy all the cookies every day and put them in the trash like like this like the Nike thing you know I'm gonna file the Nikes and burn them like that's yes A1 you're so smart um just dumb [ __ ] yeah dumb [ __ ] like that so we are going to ship God I'm this is all happening amidst [ __ ] so Halloween for us is a big holiday at the bakery and we run all this Halloween [ __ ] the entire month of October so it's like that compounded with all the political [ __ ] compounded with like all the merch me and seub stay up until like 2 in the morning packaging all of this merch we like log jammed the [ __ ] mail place like we went to the post office and you have to put all your [ __ ] in these shoots and like you know t-shirt after t-shirt at one point it just said burnt no like it wouldn't let us open it anymore we had to take it to like three different post offices and I haven't even fulfilled like the new batch there's over 600 orders I have to bag wow and tag and I'm just like I I can't keep up but somehow I am so yeah we're going to ship uh I have all these people everywhere like I need those [ __ ] cook for election I can only muster like maybe 50 to 100 boxes of cookies because I don't have staff time resources so we're going to do like a popup date where you order I'm going to give you like a finite amount you know this is how many boxes I can make get on there online [ __ ] place your orders and once they're gone they're gone so we're going to try to get that first batch out before November 5th um obviously in store I'm going to have to Mass produce these cookies for November 5th so I'll be coming in on my days off to just [ __ ] crank out the cookies um and he enjoy it because probably after the election it's those cookies are no more right this will be like your Olympics or your World Cup every four years you can go through this same hell storm again now is there do you know is there a polling place near your your bakery the nearest polling place would be there's a library I think Ahmad taidi and a juvenile co-conspirator were arrested and charged with conspiring to carry out a terrorist attack on Election Day on behalf of the Islamic State terrorist group he was attempting to provide material support to Isis by getting firearms and ammunition to execute a violent attack in the US on behalf of the terrorist group authorities said he confirmed that the attack was intended to Target large Gatherings and that he was expected to die a martyr along with the juvenile co-conspirator described as an Afghan citizen with legal permanent residence status in the United States the pair were arrested after they met two confidential human sources and an undercover FBI agent who posed as business partners at a rural location in the Western District of Oklahoma to buy the rifles 10 magazines and am for the planned attack attorney general Merrick Garland said in a statement Tuesday that the justice department would continue to combat the ongoing threat that Isis and its supporters pose to America's national security and we will identify investigate and prosecute the individuals who seek to terrorize the American people mom did the doj do a good job here yes but guess what Dad Dad good job Bob De yes or no what what he's going to the bathroom doj is not has never done a good job he said doj's never done a good job well they caught this terrorist who was going to launch an attack on Election Day guess that's not a good job in Oklahoma it was not in Oklahoma guess where it was Oklahoma City that's that's in Oklahoma yes and you know why Chad's always like how does any of this affect you anyway how does you know bad guys coming in toward country affects you right there right there in our hometown G blow say he was a legal Citizen though a national from that scares me is that's one how many of those dudes have come across the border and are here just waiting for Afghan or Iran to say unleash let them go and we're all dead and that was in our city and I remember Chad a long time ago stating well none of the people coming across the border are affecting you tell me how that's going to affect you there you go and it's still not going to affect you this guy was you like that Chad me standing in line to vote with Dad and we get gunned down by someone like that that's not going to happen because the doj caught this guy with help from the FBI two yeah right do you think the FBI did a good job in Catching this guy no yes they're all corrupt that could have been me he gunned down all right so Mom at least can see some form of logical reason here that even though you may disagree with the the people who are currently running the doj or the FBI or even their practices or their allegiances perceived allegiances to politicians mom can recognize that catching this terrorist was a good thing they did Dad you still don't think it is you wish this terrorist was walking free he's ready go sleep I I will never give the doj credit for anything okay Haley do you think it's a good thing they caught this guy yeah for sure all right reasonable um I want to ask you this Haley do you think there are going to be terrorist attacks on Election Day I mean I don't know I guess with the threat of assassinating Donald Trump uh probably should be taken seriously so it's very possible it's possible mom possible and what about like riots afterwards when Trump wins I think people are going to lose their effing Minds when no who wins I think there's G to be domestic terrorism AKA violence in the streets but I'm talking about specifically foreign terrorism oh on the day that we all vote yeah I don't know they CAU I don't think there's going to be they caught this guy I just I don't know I feel like there's not going to be usually things like Mount up like this and then the reality of the situation is it's never quite as bad as people are anticipating like Y2K if you'll remember that um Dad do you think there's going to be terrorist us October 30th is our early vote day I will vote on Election Day I will do it at a place that I've always done it the West Hollywood Community Center it usually takes me about 10 to 15 minutes do you let's move on to our final topic kala's 60 Minutes interview was edited a recent controversy has emerged surrounding cbs's editing of a 60 Minutes interview with vice president KLA Harris that aired in full on Monday evening and a portion of it aired during Sunday's Meet the Press the footage from the teaser on Sunday and the full interview from Monday did not match up CBS seems to have aired two versions of Harris's response to a question about Israel one in The Interview preview and another during the full airing former president Donald Trump and his campaign accused CBS of manipulating the interview to make Harris appear more articulate and concise Trump called it a quote fake news scam further suggesting that cbs's broadcast license should be revoked Harris's campaign distance itself from cbs's editorial choic is emphasizing they had no control over the edits two CBS News staffers are currently calling for an investigation of the matter mom as you'll notice I put two topics in today's show that you sent me I hope this appeases you I like Haley does this matter at all to you that the her uh interview was edited yeah I mean I think uh there is there is less and less Integrity surrounding journalism these days and so I think uh you know cutting and pasting and splicing and doctoring [ __ ] and you know going back and like fixing it uh I don't like that I don't like it at all I think that again uh journalism kind of kind of lacks Integrity these days so I don't ever know what to trust I don't know what new source is real uh so when you hear stories like this it's yeah I think it's [ __ ] up air air the real interview don't [ __ ] do a second take that's like a movie like you shooting a movie you're shooting a show uh so I mean that's how it feels you are shooting a reality show episode This is called communism they're putting up there what they want people they're putting up there what they want people to here well so so they're trying to make her sound better than she is I agree you remember when we communis when MTV came out with the very first reality show that I remember real world that you remember but that's not first reality show right first reality show was 1945 Allen fun Candid Camera okay well I don't remember that obviously so real world is a ripoff of a a show from Scandinavian country called number 28 okay but it was theft of that idea I remember watching real world and it seemed legitimate it seemed authentic these people were really going through [ __ ] every episode was shot the way that it was there was no like going back to shoot another shot that's what you think W that's what I thought yeah yeah it's all fake so right so now we live in this world where literally every reality real I've even been on a reality show it's [ __ ] fake yeah you are fed lines it is always Loosely scripted re-shoot that do this in that scene like you're just shooting a [ __ ] show and it's no different for any of our politicians giving interviews yeah so it's [ __ ] gross like you don't get you're not getting a real interview this yeah this was not a reality TV show this was a damn interview that she was supposed to spew information for the American people and they edited and cut it to make her sound better right why don't for Donald Trump because they're woke huh Donald Trump does it to himself you can't believe anything you're seeing of any of these people in fact I would say what this has done this little I I mean who knows if this will like reach a critical mass in terms of the the population and how they think about media representation or interviewing or any of that but somebody who's not getting in trouble for recutting K Harris's interview is call her dad these podcasts I think this election have stepped front and center and said we are the places you now go if you're an American political candidate trying to get favor with the electorate you come on our shows [ __ ] 60 Minutes [ __ ] the traditional interviews [ __ ] even doing the debates I mean Donald Trump basically never did a Republican primary debate and he has only done I guess he's done technically two presidential debates but with different candidates and now he's refusing a third it's like you can kind of feel I think think mainstream news media is starting to take a backseat to internet journalism I and I love it I absolutely love it because they're biased they're biased not only they biased but it's it's you know a lot of people think like the news has some kind of um obligation to truth or obligation to like report properly they don't these are all for profit Endeavors I'm not saying the podcast aren't we like Newsmax yeah Newsmax isn't making much of a profit no Newsmax is is one of the most egregious examples of the people who run that Corporation don't give a [ __ ] about the politics they care about scaring the [ __ ] out of you so you keep watching their Channel they only care about money same as Fox News same as MSNBC okay because the news in America is a for-profit Endeavor just like the healthcare system is for-profit uh prisons are for-profit anytime something becomes for-profit it is never to be about the greater good or truth or any of that and I think you're seeing that in the 60 Minutes thing um this is uh something that I propose all of these interviews should be live streamed so there's no editing as they're happening they come out would you guys support something like that 100% then that would show how stupid she is yes Dad yeah and they can't fix what she says so we agree on something um do you think Mom that Trump has ever used media manipulation I haven't seen it okay show me something all right Dad no you don't think he has no do you consider Tweeting or putting out social media posts of any kind to be a part of this problem no okay you really don't think he's ever manipulated any kind of media I don't think he's ever edited any of his interviews no yeah I don't think he no he hasn't KL Harris didn't edit this one either CBS did no nobody has edited trumps and where Trump puts his stuff on even on Newsmax or truth social uh it's right out of the can there's no editing at all none at all I mean if they cut between different shots that's editing well you know what I'm talking about they didn't change what he said okay all right well uh I guess that's it for our show
