is that this is what the American government has become. Um we we are certainly in a time that is like it's beyond a joke what um you know the presidency, the White House, all of that stuff has become. So I agree with you. She's more focused on that than she is on politics, even though he still is watching Newsmax 24 hours a day. Um I think there's a lot of different factors, but it isn't I don't think it's about like pushing harder or not. I think it's um it's just about keeping it going and I I mean look what we're doing I think is working you know not it hasn't worked completely yet obviously but I think my mom is making progress

and there will be some days like today where it's a you know taken a step back but that doesn't mean that the overall trajectory has stopped in my opinion I think we're still on the right path um side of the H420 why do you think Mary Lou says she needs time because I think she where to even begin with this. There are so many studies that have been done about people making um decisions that effectively say they make the decision way before they make the decision. You know what I like their brain has accepted a a future reality in which that decision has been made to one side

or the other and it's just about some amount of time needs to pass before you it sinks in like cognitively and then you take action on that decision and I think for her that may be the case here like she might have already accepted to some degree that she no longer supports Donald Trump but it's just going to take a minute for her to fully reject it uh in a you know kind of public outward way.

There are, you know, a limited amount of human behaviors that we can all engage in. Everything from waking up in the morning to flying into space on a rocket ship that you built. Those are kind and everything in between, right? Um there are certain behaviors that are off limits to you based on physical capability. For example, I cannot slam dunk a basketball. Others can. I cannot.

And even with time, if you can slam dunk a basketball, eventually you won't be able to. But most behaviors um are the the kind of like line of demarcation. The things you can or cannot do in this world are based on how much money you have. And for a person who has $1 trillion, there is nothing off limits unless it's like slam dunking a basketball. Elon Musk can fly into space. He can buy the biggest government in the world and install his own person to give him even more money. Um, I'm sure he's got life extension [ __ ] He's got bunkers all over the world. He can

have a million kids and just pay the moms whatever to be quiet or sign NDAs are. It's a trillion dollars is literally like nothing. There's nothing in the world that he is not able to do now as a result of that. And I don't think my mom gets that. The flip side of that is privacy is dead. It's gone. If you're on if you use a phone at all, the NSA, if you have an email account, the NSA can literally type your name into their [ __ ] computer and look at everything you're doing always, all the time. Um, Palunteer is like throwing lighter fluid on that or gasoline, however you want to look at it. So, I think it's like the idea that um, you

know, the surveillance state is coming because there's going to be drones and more advanced cameras and [ __ ] It's like it's already been here. We are all surveiled constantly, 24 hours a day. I'm not like happy about that obviously, but also I think that that ship has sailed. I don't think it's ever going to go in the opposite direction. I think if anything, we're just getting more and more used to it with the advent of social media and everybody having like a 4K camera in their pocket now. So even if you're not being actively surveiled by um the government or whoever, you

yourself are contributing to your own surveillance by putting your data in the internet um that can be looked at by anyone. And it's like that's not going to change. I think if anything, we're all going to be more willing to record ourselves because I think in the future, like the the barrier for for making kind of high quality media on social media or anything else is getting lower and lower and lower in terms of how cheap the cameras are getting and how good they're getting and and how little you need to know about like editing or how to use a camera, any of that [ __ ] to render like

a usable image, usable sound, etc. And I think in the near future, you're going to have technology like personal drones or or any number of things that can kind of record your life 24/7. And I think almost celebrity is just going to be like a lottery ticket. It's like we will all try to play that game. Um and occasionally if you do something funny or weird, everything you do is going to be being recorded and piped into the internet and AI is going to go through all of it to find the funniest, most interesting, whatever things and present those to us as entertainment. And so I

think like the idea of privacy um really it will only be applicable to like cops and politicians because they're the only ones who are going to have to have like secrets and [ __ ] to keep. get those votes, which is why I think me and my sister have talked about this. I think they might try to do like a martyrdom of Trump, like a uh these assassination attempts. he dies, if he dies of natural causes, I think MAGA loses a lot of steam and I think the Republicans are going to have a very hard time winning an election for the next couple years. Um for a long time I have wanted to get my body frozen when I die because I believed in a very materialist kind of view of reality that there is no soul.

Human consciousness is a byproduct of the brain and when you die you die. That's it. And so I thought the I not that I thought freezing myself was going to 100% bring me back from the dead, but I viewed it as like a roll of the dice, that maybe possibly it would be the only way to cheat death. Now I'm like, I'm pretty convinced that consciousness exists outside the human body and that death is not the end of human consciousness. You want to call it a soul, whatever you want to call it. I'm pretty convinced that that's real now.

But I still wear this [ __ ] necklace just because it's been a part of kind of like my identity. At least where ideas about the afterlife and and fundamental human consciousness, reality, all that [ __ ] where all that's concerned, I've had that as a piece of my identity for a long time. I'm still wearing the [ __ ] necklace. I'm still signed up to do it.

Even though my thinking has drastically shifted away from it. It takes a minute, I think, to to allow yourself to give up these pieces of your identity that have defined big parts of who you are for a long time. decades. And I I love the idea that they're like sequestered in this weird uh set that's shot 24 hours a day, so you kind of have to constantly be playing. I like all of that. My preference of reality TV games are the dating ones first. Those to me are the most interesting sports because they necessitate that you must engage and at least the um portrayal of romantic interest. Big Brother, you have showmances on that show for sure, but it's not like everybody. there are people who are like married and [ __ ] there, you know, so it's like not everybody there has to date. I prefer

the ones where like you get to use dating as part of your manipulation package. Um, that said, it just doesn't uh I don't know. I find Survivor more interesting because of the physical kind of element and but I think they're like similarish games. It's just not I would say it's in my top 10 reality competition shows maybe, but it ain't in my top five. It ain't in my top three.

And that's just my personal opinion. If you like it, enjoy it. I got nothing against it. It's, like I said, obviously one of the greatest reality shows of all time. Tank and Murf. The first time around it feels to me like most media was against Trump and so like Hollywood and ad agencies and whatever. It was like it was their way of kind of like fighting against the idea of Trump was to make movies and TV shows that were liberal, to have liberal celebrities doing their their stuff, to have ad campaigns that were liberal, all that type of [ __ ] This time around it this time around it seems exactly the opposite. every network cowtows to Trump. Even in reality TV, like this past um season of Love is Blind, which aired in February, they have a proTrump conversation in it.

90-Day Fiance, proTrump conversations in it. There is it seemingly that there are no kind of like liberal media outlets or liberal brands or whatever that are going against him. They're all just getting on board with it and [ __ ] it, no one cares. down to obviously like the Ellison family buying Paramount which is um uh where the UFC is gonna air Paramount Plus and I believe it's on CBS which is also Paramount. And so now that they own Tik Tok and CBS and the merger got approved so now they're going to own um CNN, HBO, a bunch of other [ __ ] It's

like I feel like most media is at least okay with Trump and the promotion of Trump if not doing it outright like a part of the plan itself. So I don't know. I mean that Bud Light is just like whatever. It's just money. It's going to be giant and a bunch of people are going to watch it. [ __ ] them. And finally we have one more question. Sherby, hi Chad. Y'all should ask Mary Lou why Trump hasn't sued anyone for defamation when it comes to what's in the files.

Yeah, that's an interesting question. I I feel like for her, the the Epstein Files, it's like the Epstein Files, Golain Maxwell, and a nuclear bomb are the things that she has said on the show would be like a an immediate I'm against Trump now. I'm not [ __ ] MAGA anymore. um having these little like lines of logic like well if the Epstein files were if he's totally fine and everything in there is just like flight logs and stuff then why isn't he suing these people that are have said all this [ __ ] about him in the Epstein files. I feel like

those lines of logic don't work on my mom. It's got to be something big and crazy and like irrefutable basically and I don't know what that's going to be. But all that said, the the baby steps she has been taking, I think primarily as a result of like conversations that she's having with people like Peppermint on the show, Hassan [ __ ] those two events seem to have done the most for her. And I think also my dad's health issues have kind of like jarred her out of the um you know the kind of constant cacophony of Newsmax and MAGA media and [ __ ]

that's just in her face always having to deal with some real real world [ __ ] now is like it's it's getting her to kind of like I think detach from what she used to believe was the importance of these political ideas and the whole identity that surrounded them. And so I think that kind of combination is working very well. I don't and and I've tried little lines of logic exactly like that for four or [ __ ] years on the show and they seem to just be ignored or like met with some kind of abrupt deflection or whatever. Um, all that said,
