Welcome to the necessary conversation midweek edition. Today it's me, my mom, and my sister and your sister. Just kidding. She'll never join us again.

0:13

I was going to go, where is she? Yeah, she will never come to these again. I feel like she's she's got her one hour on Sundays and that is it. But you and I are here holding it down. We're about to show each other clips from the opposite side of the political spectrum. Mom, I have seen only like one second of one of the clips you sent me.

0:32

It's a doozy to say the least. Uh we'll we'll see if we can show each other any new information to change our minds perhaps or at least open us up to the possibilities that what we think may not be right.

0:44

And before we start, of course, the diddy if I was doing a diddy is Dolly. Rest in peace. Very, very sad. What a wonderful woman. Um there was u she was a you know storyteller of the songs that she did but uh the thing that stuck out in my mind when I started hearing a lot of people talk is she was the fourth of 12 children

1:05

and I guess you know very very poor. So when the doctor came to deliver her, they had no money to give to the doctor.

1:12

And he g her daddy gave the doctor it was a sack of cornmeal. And then she joked the rest of her life about that, saying that that was the beginning of making her dough.

1:25

Yeah. Well, yeah. Um, did you see speaking of her dough, a lot was made of her yesterday going around the internet that she chose specifically purposefully to not be a billionaire. That she had such a long and big enough career in entertainment that she easily could have been, but she would donate money, set up charities, etc., etc., etc.

1:48

Yes, that was that is very nice. Very nice of her. Okay. So, the flip side of that is Trump, Bezos, Zuckerberg, Peter Teal, uh, Elon Musk. You all right?

2:03

Yes. Go ahead, Mike. All of the people currently running our government are the exact opposite. Selfish pieces of [ __ ] who want more money, as much money as they can have.

2:14

Well, she was not that. And she was a wonderful person. I agree. But you can see the opposite of that is Donald Trump.

2:25

I guess so. If you want to turn this political, I didn't want to turn turn it political. That's what our whole show. I wanted to say rest in peace, Dolly. And then you bring it in like that. Okay.

2:36

Rest in peace, Dolly. Well, that was just a thing that was going around the internet all day yesterday was that she was this philanthropist who understood that nobody needs to be a billionaire.

2:46

You know what? I was on the internet looking a lot yesterday and looking what people said. I did not all I saw I mean I didn't see what how you're twisting this.

2:55

Yeah. I just saw the good stuff that she did in all the charities which was amazing. Yeah. Okay. And Okay. Well, RIP Dolly. Uh she got out just in time. Let's now look at your first clip or I there is there any order to these three clips? No, two of them are the same about Baron Trump and then the other one was about um what Donald Trump has done good.

3:23

Okay, let's I'll just play them in the order you sent them. Here's your first clip. Iran has just threatened to kill Trump's 20-year-old son, Baron, saying they put a $10 million bounty on his head. Um they claim to have hacked his Xbox and his Discord accounts. They claim to be following him at New York University in New York where he is there of course with, you know, Secret Service security.

3:46

They claim they know what he clothes he wears, what his Secret Service wears. In other words, they're tracking them. Um, really outrageous stuff from the Iranian government. Um, whatever you think of Donald Trump, his son Baron, 20 years old, is irrelevant to any of these discussions. Um, the Iranians are clearly decided to sort of up the ante on all of this with these threats. Trump himself, you know, has uh his most recent sort of over-the-top threat against Iran has been to threaten economic D-Day, saying he's going to destroy the company country economically. Now, um that's just sort of Trump's never-ending threats, but um

4:21

this is pretty serious stuff. Now, um Trump, as you know, has killed the Iranian Supreme Leader. He uh also killed some of the Supreme Leader's family in the attacks with the Israelis. Um but nonetheless, this is some really serious stuff. I I can't recall sort of seeing this kind of stuff in recent memory, going after the family of the president, threatening to kill them. Not even threatening to kill them, claiming you put a contract out on them. Really serious stuff taking place here, guys.

4:46

Okay. So, so I'm sure you don't even believe that. Uh, no, I do believe that that they that this at least is in the news. I don't know if it's a real threat or not, but they have put that out there. I would guess uh to kind of ruffle Trump's feathers to get him like, "Well, they're going to kill my son." But also, I don't know if Iron is putting that out there or is Trump putting that out there to justify blowing up more children in schools.

5:16

Okay. I don't know that. I don't know. But the story is definitely out there. Yes, Iran is putting that out there. And you don't go after, you know, he didn't have anything to do with what's going on. He's 20 years old. Leave him alone.

5:31

Leave his family alone. If you want to go after someone, go after Trump. Hang on. No, I'm not. I know where you're going.

5:39

They're all dipping in. Baron Trump is part of what look to be illegal crypto schemes where he also is now making hundreds of millions of dollars just like the other Trump kids. It's their own horrible pieces of [ __ ]

5:51

So that's okay to put a bounty on the son of the president's head. I don't believe so. I No, I don't personally believe that. I don't think anyone should be killed for any reason. However, the game Trump is playing, starting [ __ ] wars with countries for no reason. Killing their civilians exposes his family to this. This is this is what happens.

6:13

This was not just Baron. And it was also the daughter early on and then his wife. I think he he's only going to take so much of this and then they're going to be in trouble.

6:25

So much. We've How long have we been in this war? Since February. No. He's come after my family. You come after anybody in my family, my animals, my pets, I'll hit you back hard. And I'm afraid that's what's going to happen. When I first saw that, I go, "Oh my god, not good." So, you're saying you're afraid he's going to hit back harder? What does that mean to you?

6:47

Blow up their whole country, get rid of them all now. I'm afraid. I'm afraid he might do that. But he's not capable of doing it. We are losing that war.

6:58

Um, I think we could bomb them pretty well with Israel's help and blow them up. There are stories coming out on a daily basis about how our munition stockpile is now low because of this war that we've wasted all these missiles, all this oil, all this money. The morale of these troops is obviously non-existent at this point. We are losing the war.

7:20

I I just believe he's the kind of guy that he's if they come after his family, he's going to come back hard on them. And I when I saw that, I cringed. You think he cares about his family?

7:33

Of course he loves his family, Chad. Interesting. I don't think he does. I don't think he gives a [ __ ] about anybody but himself.

7:40

Oh my goodness. Okay. He loves his family. Uh well, let's move on to your next clip here. I This is more of Trump or more of Baron Trump. Um, you don't have to play both of them because they say the same thing, but I like the one that

7:58

I'll play whatever you sent me. Okay, there you go. The US Secret Service says it's aware of Iranian state media video threatening the president's son, Baron Trump. NPR's Franco Ordonius reports the video claims to offer $10 million. The video released by Iran State Media purports to track the movements of the president's 20-year-old son. It opens by asking where and how should we kill Baron Trump. Nate Herring, a spokesman for the Secret Service, told NPR that quote, "The US Secret Service is aware of the video and investigates anything that can be perceived as a threat toward our protectees." Those protect of course include the president himself as well as

8:40

members of his immediate family. Herring went on to say that out of concern for operational security, the Secret Service would not be further discussing matters of protective intelligence. The president has also faced increasing threats against his life since the war with Iran began. Franco or Donz, NPR News, the White House.

9:01

I'm Ryland Barton, NPR News. For more of today's news, check out NPR News Now, wherever you listen to podcasts. Okay. You know, everybody was saying, "Where has Melania been?" Well, they had threatened her life, so I'm sure she was laying low for a while. Now they're on hit. Now they're on Baron. This is not right. Not good.

9:24

Yeah. I guess I just don't care about any of them personally. Like I said, I I don't like that anyone dies ever uh by someone else's hand, you know, or even of old age. I'm not just I'm just not a fan of death, generally speaking. But Trump has initiated this. This is his fault.

9:41

His fault that they are putting bounties on his family. I don't believe that. I don't believe it's his fault. I believe those people are so crazy over there.

9:51

Okay. What you just said when we started this is if you come after my family, I'm going to do whatever I can to get you back or whatever you were saying, right? It's kind of revenge fantasy about protection of the family.

10:03

Imagine you're living in Iran. going about your business. Trump says, "We're going to blow the [ __ ] out of you." What? Why? You have nuclear weapons. We need to change your regime. Huh? What are you talking about? The next day, a bomb drops on a school that kills your children. Do they not have the right by your own revenge fantasy to then come after his children?

10:28

Yes. There's no end to this. It's going to go back and forth. Right. So, you're outraged about how they're putting bounties out on Trump's kids, but Trump has already murdered thousands of their children.

10:40

I'm outraged that they're putting a bounty on their heads. Trump did not do that when Oh, I see. So, it's the bounty. That's what it is. So, you can drop a bomb on a school and kill hundreds of children. That's okay. But as soon as you put a bounty on one adult, 20 years old as an adult, now you've overstepped the lines. I never said that that school bombing was right and you know that. So,

11:05

no, but you denied that it happened or did we do in the beginning because the reports were coming out the other way. But now that they weren't [laughter]

11:14

Yes, they were. Okay. No, say what you're saying. No, I'm I'm quiet. No, you don't have to be quiet. I'm just saying I'm saying that there is a little bit of hypocrisy in your claim here that putting a bounty on Trump's kids is somehow in your mind adult children by the way. It's somehow in your mind is overstepping a boundary or it's like outside

11:45

it just didn't it doesn't have to be Trump. Putting a bounty on anybody in the government's family is not right. Anybody. Okay. But again, per your own kind of personal philosophy, it's tit for tat. It's revenge. He killed their kids. Now they're saying $10 million for Barry Trump. And by the way, $10 million. Why don't they make it a hundred million? Let's get this done.

12:10

I don't know, Chad. I just think it's very sad that we live in a world like this today. I really do. But it's a world of Trump's making. That's what you're not getting. I agree with you. It is sad. I don't think we should have bounties being placed on anyone's head, let alone government officials and all this kind of stuff. The reason

12:25

it's a world of of everybody's making right now. The world's gone crazy. And I'm not blaming Trump. I'm not doing that. Even though you do,

12:33

but well, because you can directly tie all of these things to decisions he's made, to situations he has generated. We are in this war with Iran that we have been in since February. you have now an entire aircraft carrier of US service members having to like turn around and come back home because they've been out there for too long and he's like they should be out there even longer.

12:57

Did they did make it home already? You were saying I think they're on their way. I don't believe they're home yet. So that is a decision he made and continues to believe they should still be there.

13:10

Well, they should not. We know we all know that, right? So that's a situation he created that is just a subsituation of the larger situation that's the war with Iran that had no stated goal or multiple confused stated goals if you want to look at it like that. No clear objective in terms of what victory would look like or or what would be the reason for us to get out of that war. So we are just locked in it perpetually now forever.

13:38

Not to mention all of the other stuff that is going on in this country with ICE, with protests, with the flock cameras, everything that we talk about every week. All of these situations did not exist before Donald Trump started them.

13:52

What I'm trying to say, and you will say I'm re u deflecting or whatever, I have never uh been alive to when a president's kid had a bounty on them. Okay.

14:06

Go back to the Vietnam War if you will or if you can. Yeah. Back to Vietnam. LBJ. Was there any bounties on his kids? No. On Nixon. Any bounties on his children? No. Um, keep going up the line of presidents. Never have I read that there's ever been a bounty on a president's kid's life. That's why I'm saying our world is very different now.

14:31

Yeah. A quick Google search says that it's just Trump. But like, shouldn't that tell you something? Why is Trump the only one to have bounties on his kids?

14:39

Cuz I think the world's gone nuts. But you're saying the world has gone nuts. Do you think the American president has any influence over the world, the state of it?

14:49

He sure is trying to make it better. No, but this is what like it's it's difficult for me to like understand how you're not seeing this. How is he making it better when he started a war with Iran that many of these problems including the one that you've brought up that there's a bounty on his son that's directly related to him starting that war. So how did he make the world better by starting a war?

15:15

I do hear what you're saying but if you show my next clip I hope you have the one I sent you about I do just answer me that question. How did start how did starting the war with Iran make the world better

15:30

right now? I don't see it. How would it have ever made the world better? Well, getting rid of the people that are executing um the people over there that are

15:44

That's still happening, isn't it? Huh? That's still happening, isn't it? The guy that they killed, his son is now the person in charge. And supposedly the sun is even worse.

15:54

Worse. I know. So he's made the situation people. So he's made it worse, right? And now his own child has a bounty put on his head because of this war.

16:06

And we have however many US service members have died in service of the war. Everybody on that ship who has mental health problems now, etc., etc. This is all his doing.

16:18

He made these decisions. No one else I I mean, I hear what you're saying, but I'm not blaming him all the way. Like I said, this world's nuts.

16:29

Why? Why don't you? Because I'm not. Cuz he's doing the best he can to lead us. And I I truly believe Who do you blame for the war in Iran?

16:44

I guess both United States and Israel. Both of us. Okay. So, in that regard, and you're talking about when you're saying United States and Israel, do you mean Trump and Netanyahu?

16:57

Probably. Yes. Well, when you're saying probably, who else would it be? There's nobody else, right? So, it's those two people. Yes. But this was that. Yes. But the slaughtering of people cannot continue to go on over there either. So,

17:14

I'm not advocating for that. I'm saying you're saying the world is crazy and I assume that means because of the war specifically. Yes.

17:24

Trump started that war. So when you're saying the world is going crazy and that's the problem here is in quotes the world is crazy. Trump is making it crazy. He decided to make it crazy by starting a war with Iran that has now led to a bounty being put on his son's head. That's his fault. There's been other presidents that have started wars that were not even uh declared wars.

17:51

I agree. And none of them, at least per initial Google search, had a bounty put on their kids' head. That the times are changed. They've changed. The world is crazy. That's what I'm trying to say.

18:01

Okay. Okay. Let's look at this other clip here that you have sent me. For all of you who love facts rather than just Tik Tok content creators regurgitating something that they heard on their favorite podcast or in passing, you want to know what President Trump has actually done for this country. You always hear that. What has that man done for this country besides raise gas prices even though Exon Mobile and Chevron are reporting record high numbers and even though the groceries are tied right to that? He's What has he done for America? Well, I don't know.

18:34

Feel free to look all this up and fact check me. Tax refunds on average up 17%. Your 401ks, depending on who manages it, up 30 to 80%. The trade deficit com cut completely in half. Prescription medication down to a 60-year low. Inflation at 3.5% regardless of the Iranian conflict. $19 trillion of money, $19 trillion of investments have come into this country. And that is the bullish number. The conservative number is 10. The refinery, first refinery built in Texas in decades. Eli Liy, Merkin Company, Stellantis, Rivon, Honda, Honda, Apple, Nvidia, Toyota, Ford, semiconductors, and chip companies like Micron, TSMC, Texas, Instruments, and more all building in the United

19:22

States of America. Jobs right here. Wages for the bottom earners up 5.5%. Wages for median earners, uh, 4.6%. Gun rights restored to non-violent felons. border absolutely and completely closed. Trump cut out illegal aliens from four refundable tax credit programs that they were getting that saves United States $3 billion a year. The government workforce down 20 to 30% with firings from USAD, EPA, Department of Education, and more.

19:50

Trump accounts for young kids setting them up for a wonderful and great retirement. The homicide crime down to a 50-year low down 75% overall crime down 30%. eight global wars or conflicts stopped outside of what he's doing in Iran right now, which hey, at least we're getting something for that rather than nothing, which we got in Ukraine and Russia. US uh the USA is now the largest oil and natural gas exporter.

20:15

Terrorists have forced NATO countries to pay their fair share and create great uh great trade deals for the United States. Defunded Planned Parenthood, NPR, PBS took out Maduro and three generations of Iranian Ayatollah leadership. pushed the Olympic Committee to stop male and female competition. Got the World Cup here, which was great for our brand, and brought billions of dollars in. Beautified DC and got rid of the graffiti, the trash, and the crime.

20:39

Found hundreds of billions of dollars in Medicare, Medicaid, SNAP fraud, and other subsidy subsidy programs. And let's not forget the following stores agreeing to lower prices. Walmart, Sam's Club, Kroger, Target, Giant Eagle, Mayor, Albertson's, HEB, Family Fair, Piggly Wigglys, VC Grocery, and Martins Super Market. So, yeah, explain to me again with facts how he's not helping the American people. Oh, and by the way, fact check me. It's free.

21:08

Well, I'm glad he said fact check me. It's free. One of I that was obviously a litany of [ __ ] insanity. He's like, I'm not just going to sit here and spout [ __ ] on you like people on TikTok. Then he proceeds to do just that. But one of his facts was that he cut the uh deficit in half. That was the first one where I was like, "That's a [ __ ] lie."

21:26

So I Googled it immediately. No, the US federal budget deficit has not been cut in half. Instead, it has continued to grow. The national deficit has actually surged, surpassing 1.8 trillion in the first 10 months of the fiscal year 2026 alone. The increase has been driven by factors including sweeping tax legislation enacted in 2025, military spending, and costly tariff refunds after the Supreme Court struck down several of the administration's import levies. As a result, the gross national debt recently climbed past the 40 trillion mark, setting a record. So,

21:56

so you're you're saying before I showed that I should have fact checked everything that man said. Not that was just one thing that I heard in the first 10 seconds and I was like, that's wrong. So you can assume multiple things in that are wrong based on that. That man just googled what has Trump done good and [ __ ] yelled at a screen for 10 seconds or whatever that was a minute.

22:17

That's kind of the way though I feel liberals do sometimes too that when I hear liberals do that it's not. But mom, yes,

22:25

that's fine. You you feel like liberals do the same thing. That guy at the end of his video says fact check me. It's free. I did it. He's wrong. He lied. He didn't lie on the Trump accounts for the ch for the kids under 18 that offer a $1,000 government u seed deposit for for eligibility.

22:43

He's also he's also claiming victories in that video for things like defunding Planned Parenthood. I don't think that's good. I don't think that's a victory.

22:52

You don't? Yeah. But he does. Would you ever volunteer at a Planned Parenthood? Probably not. Why not? I probably just would not. Why?

23:04

Because I would not want to get involved in other people's lives that way. But you are you you say you don't think people should be allowed to have abortions. You are trying to get involved in people's lives that way.

23:17

No, I'm not. Not at all. What do you mean? You're trying to enforce an ideology on them that would eliminate that healthc care for them.

23:25

I'm pro-life. You know that. Yes. So, you are trying to get involved in people's lives in that way. I'm talking about my life.

23:33

What? I'm not going to get involved in other people's lives anymore. I'm not going to do it. Okay. Well, so this guy has has rattled off all this other [ __ ] I can't remember. He said some other stuff in there that I know was wrong.

23:46

Um and now I He said the border, he said the savings account. We know that's all true. Yeah. Um I just thought, you know, sometimes maybe some of that stuff he said was not true.

23:59

Yeah. He was talking about people's 401ks. Your 401k is up 30 to 80%. It's like, well, not everybody has a 401k that benefits middle and upper middle class US citizens. Everybody else it [ __ ]

24:12

Okay. I guess what I was trying to prove too is that sometimes when I see liberal clips like that, that's the way I feel. liberal clips are just spewing some of the stuff that's not real.

24:24

Right. But just take at face value the one thing that I picked out of there that I heard him say and I was like, I know that's wrong. I Googled it. It's wrong.

24:33

So he lied when he's like, you can fact check it. It's all free. I did. You're wrong. So the clip you've sent me. That guy is lying.

24:43

I guess maybe when we get done I'll fact check everyone and see how many was right and wrong. Okay. [laughter] At least it wasn't AI, right?

24:52

Yeah, that's true. It wasn't AI. Um, okay. Let's get into now um how to begin this. My three clips have to do with this beef that he is importing. You've heard of this?

25:06

Yes. Okay. And at first he wouldn't say where it was from, and people were like, "What the [ __ ] that about, dude?" Yeah.

25:13

Now we know at least some of it is from Argentina. My three clips, yeah. have to do with that and its relation to Project 2025. First, let's watch a couple of these beef clips

25:26

and then um we'll watch this Project 2025 one, which is from a few years ago, but it we need to see it again. Here we go.

25:35

Okay. There is an aspect of Project 2025 that I have not seen anybody talking about that everybody needs to be talking about, and it is the agriculture section. So, if you eat food, regardless of your political affiliation, you need to know about this. In multiple different places, Project 2025 accuses farmers of abusing subsidies, credits, and even crop insurance. And they seek to get rid of all of those programs. And if they can't completely scrap the ARC and PLC programs, they want farmers to be paying higher premiums on that insurance. They cite that this insurance shouldn't be the responsibility of taxpayers, also known as the people who

26:12

benefit from the foods that they grow. Meanwhile, totally fine for taxpayers to foot the bill for the public assistance needed for big corporations who don't pay their workers a livable wage. But that's another rant for another day. Bottom line is that Project 2025 is regarding farmers like landlords when this is a hand-to-mouth industry with next to no margin. Okay, so that clip is setting up that project 2025 laid out a game plan to basically destabilize our food supply. Part of that game plan is by getting rid of subsidies for American farmers and making it financially difficult for them to continue growing and providing our

26:52

food, some of whom are ranchers that supply our beef. As we know, uh, the prices for that food are skyrocketing, as is everything else right now because of Trump's policies. And the idea that this is all just like, oh, shit's bad. Like you're saying, the world's crazy. It's by design. Project 2025, that that's one of the key elements of it. In order to strip away power from the people and consolidate it in the president and the executive branch, they have to basically destabilize all the systems that are in place to make our lives better. One of which, obviously, is our food supply.

27:31

I understand that. So, show me the next clip. I mean, that's what you're trying to tell me. Yeah, I'm I'm painting a little story here with this clip. So, now here's a clip about this actual beef, what it is, and where it's coming from.

27:44

Okay. So, that discounted beef Trump wants to import from Argentina. Yeah, China's rejected it before because of deadly contaminations. Trump recently proclaimed that he's addressing rising beef prices by importing tariff-free beef trimmings from Argentina. But turns out this beef could kill you. In March, China rejected a 22 ton shipment of Argentine beef because they discovered traces of a dangerous antibiotic, which is considered a carcinogen and linked to blood disorders, which is why it's banned in most countries. The National Cattleman's Beef Association has also warned that Argentina has a history of foot and mouth disease, which could destroy American livestock if it came into the US. But the US will monitor and

28:16

test the beef before it comes in, right? Yeah. How's trusting this administration with food safety going for you? You eaten lettuce yet? Beyond just creating more food related crises, the beef imports completely screw over American ranchers, many of whom voted for Trump. When asked about this, Trump said, "Well, Argentina is fighting for its life and dying." Same could be said of US ranchers, but good to know where your priorities lie.

28:37

So, let's take the end part of that clip first. Why do you think Trump cares more about um beef from Argentina and farmers in Argentina than he does US farmers?

28:49

What I read is because of all the drought um all of our cattle that have died, he's trying to give our ranchers a little bit of a u you know break so that people because if we were going to use our American beef and our American cows

29:07

Uhhuh. our uh beef would go up like just regular lean beef would be like9 to$10 a pound. Okay. So he is importing some of that other to help our farmers for a while.

29:22

How does that help our farmers? Um putting them in a situation where they cannot sell their beef. I think they've sold I I was thinking they've sold what they can due to drought and due to bad conditions with our beef right now here, our cows. Like it's uh the cattle

29:41

that the people own is at an all-time low, isn't it, now to be able to sell. So they sell beef year round, obviously. Yes. There's steak in the grocery store every day, right?

29:53

Yes. Okay. So they're constantly selling what they're producing. constantly. That's how they make their money. Trump is bringing in a product, the same product from another country which is not uh being scanned. Well, as you saw in this clip, it was already rejected from China because it is contaminated with this antibiotic that causes cancer and all this other [ __ ] The the stuff he bought is that

30:20

that part another country rejected it. That part is very very scary. But what I'm saying is I was thinking he was doing this because we don't have the cows here to sell in the United States and the beef.

30:32

Of course we do. The prices are just high. And that is also because of Trump, his tariffs, the war, etc., etc. So, what he's doing is giving I don't know how much he's paying to get this beef that's supposedly 25% discount or whatever, but he's giving that money to another country, bringing that product here, selling it for cheaper than the US produced product sells it. So, he is this is hurting our ranchers badly.

31:03

I've read it both ways. I've read it where it is, but then I've read it where it's not because they don't have the beef to sell.

31:09

And where are you reading that? When I Googled it, I think. Okay. The bottom line is he has gutted any of our agencies that actually inspect products like this for safety.

31:23

I know. Lettuce, blueberries, avocados, all that. Don't eat them. Right. And don't eat this meat. Oh, no way. Yeah, I would not. Right. That's what I'm saying. So even if he's trying to help the farmers or whatever, let's say that's true. It's not, but let's say it is. Let's go down that path. How does it help anyone farmers or anyone by bringing in a product that is going to be sold cheaper than the US product and it's not healthy?

31:52

Uh, probably not. But I could see like now I'm only going to buy local. I'll buy local from our farmers here. I won't buy that meat. Okay, that's [clears throat] great.

32:05

That's great. But we're getting to this bigger kind of issue, which is you showed me that video of that guy um with the red beard saying like, "Trump did everything good. I will yell at the CAMERA SOME MORE. YOU MUST BELIEVE ME." But he's not talking about this. And how is this good? How is what Trump is doing here good? How is this helping America?

32:28

I do not. Like I said, I've seen it both ways saying that we don't have the cows to sell. So, he's given the farmers a break and the drought, the pastures, there's no grazing for the cows.

32:37

And I'm saying, even if that's true, how does importing 300,000 tons or whatever of contaminated beef that no one can eat without getting sick? How does that help anyone?

32:50

It's supposed to make the price lower for the American people, but who's going to eat that? We're not going to eat that. So, with the brain in their heads going to buy local.

32:59

So, I'm asking, how does that help Americans? It doesn't, but when you said the 2025, I looked something up real quick. Yeah. Uh the Trump administration did give 12 billion in a onetime farmer bridge payment.

33:14

Uh like that was in 2025 to the farmers. In 2026, Trump has also asked Congress for another 11.1 billion in farm assistance for 2026 crops. Mhm.

33:27

So, it's not like he's not helping and trying to help him. I'm not saying that he is like we need to kill all the farmers. He's just

33:39

Well, let me Well, let me just say this and then we'll play this clip. Part of Project 2025. Do you know what it was?

33:46

Project 2025. We talked about it on this show multiple times. Yes. What is it in your mind? something that was never going to happen that he and all these Republicans had put together before he was ever elected like a guideline what they wanted to do

34:03

kind of it was written by a lot of people but a bunch of people from Trump's first term that were in his cabinet were part of it

34:11

it it was primarily led by this um organization called the Heritage Foundation which is a big right-wing Christian nationalist organization here in America and its primary objective was to lay out a blueprint so that when Trump got reelected, they would just say, "Here, this is what you need to do." Everything from laws you need to pass to uh different kind of like operations in American public life to strip women of all rights. Like ultimately, Project 2025 wants to get to a point where women can't vote, can't own property, and can't have bank accounts.

34:46

Well, that will never happen. And we know this. Listen, you keep saying that that will never happen. It's all happening. It's happening now.

34:56

The first step toward that, the first step toward that was overturning Row versus Wade. So now women don't have access to healthcare. Then they just keep chipping away, keep eroding, keep eroding. But that's beside the point we're making here with this beef. Chapter 10 of Project 2025 is all about destabilizing our food sources so they can take control of it and own everything. And this plugs into Monsanto owning all the seeds. So farmers can't even replant crops without paying Monsanto.

35:31

It plugs into all of it. But there's also the surveillance state which is the flock cameras and Palunteer. It's all part of this big thing basically to create uh an Orwellian surveillance state where the tech billionaires control the entire population.

35:48

I will I will go back and read through that because if you're saying some of this is happening, this is not good. It is. They've already implemented over 80% of it.

35:56

Okay, I'll go back. So, I want to play you this clip. This is a clip from 2024 where Joy Reed, who I know you hate, is talking about Project 2025. all the way back then. Here we go.

36:08

This is the 922 page mega manifesto. We printed the whole thing out and it's brought to you by one of the most conservative DC think tanks, the Heritage Foundation. This is the culmination of nearly 50 years of work that began during the Reagan administration. Broadly, according to Heritage to Heritage President Kevin Roberts, this is a Christian nationalist plan to end what he calls the great awakening and quote, "Rescue our kids, reclaim our culture, revive our economy, and defeat the anti-American left at home and abroad."

36:50

This manifesto, which they call a book, is a specific roadmap on how to accomplish that by giving a Republican president unprecedented power. They do that by slashing the federal government's footprint, gutting regulations, slashing the money we spend on children, students, the elderly, the environment, education, and reproductive healthcare. Every single chapter describes in excruciating detail how to reorder our society by dismantling federal agencies and limiting the federal government's ability to help protect you, the American people, from predatory businesses, excessive taxes, poisoned air and water. You name it.

37:32

Lately, former President Donald Trump and his campaign, fearful of how unpopular Project 2025 is, have claimed they have nothing to do with it.

37:43

I don't know what the hell it is that's Project 25. He's involved in project and then they read some of the things and they are extreme. I mean, they're seriously watching this.

37:53

But I don't know anything about it. I don't want to know anything about it. I'm watching. He's saying he knows nothing. Yeah, but that's not the complete picture. Here is Trump promoting the Heritage Foundation and their little project just two years ago.

38:08

Heritage does such an incredible job. They're going to lay the groundwork and detail plans for exactly what our movement will do and what your movement will do when the American people give us a colossal mandate to save America. And that's coming. That's coming.

38:26

Okay. So, you were checking out in multiple parts of that video. What were you watching? I heard where he said he knows nothing about 2025. He knows nothing about

38:36

What were you watching on your iPad? And he did say the Heritage Foundation is a great thing. I was watching it. What were you looking at on your iPad?

38:44

What year was that that she said that? 2024. What were you looking at on your iPad? What year that I told you that I told you it before we played the clip.

38:55

Okay. What were you looking at on your iPad? I don't I don't believe that was his um platform, his presidential platform at all. That there was he wasn't saying those things.

39:11

You're saying the videos we just saw of him were not real? No. That all of that that she was saying Uh-huh. was what he wanted to do. No, she just showed you two clips to expose that he lied when he was campaigning in 2024.

39:30

Okay. He was saying, uh, I don't know what it is even. What is project 2025? Now, she then also showed the clip, I love Heritage Foundation. They're laying out a blueprint for what we're going to do with our mandate. So, which is true. He he was contradicting himself there. You saw that, right?

39:49

Right. But he never said like 2025. That's never come out of his mouth, has it? You just Well, you didn't see it cuz you were looking at your iPad. He said it in that clip.

39:58

He said he didn't know what it was. Correct. That's a lie. Because then the very next clip, he says, "The Heritage Foundation is laying out this plan and we're going to follow it."

40:09

And now cut to where we are today, August 26th, 2026. 80% of that project 2025 has been implemented by him. 80%. Yes. Wow. I remember you and talking about it and I was saying you guys are making this stuff up. I remember this.

40:29

Let me let me ask you this. What do you think or or how to put this? Do you believe that the tech billionaires want to control humanity?

40:47

No. Okay. And why don't you believe that? Why? Why would I? I'm going to explain to you what is currently happening. Okay. That would be great.

41:00

Bezos, Zuckerberg, Peter Teal, Elon Musk. They are using global governments as chess pieces. They have more control and power over human society than any government. Trump is a very easily manipulated narcissist. So if they kiss his ass and they give him money, they can tell him what kind of policies to put out. And so they also are supporting project 2025 because it means less regulation on their industries, less regulation on AI, social media, news media, etc. They control now all of the data. Elon Musk, Peter Teal, their goal is to have their software in every computer system in the world so that they control all of it. Because we now

41:49

live in an uh an era where the internet is reality. If you control the internet, you control the food, you control the money, you control the information. And right now, those guys control it all. Bezos, Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, Peter Teal, they control the entire internet. So with that, and this is why you're seeing flock cameras going up and you're seeing more surveillance technology and everybody's being tracked. It's so that they can control us. Trump doesn't care about any of that. He just wants more money and his name on buildings. He's an egoomaniac. He doesn't even understand, I think, the technological part. So that

42:30

is happening. And project 2025 is a part of that. It is giving these tech billionaires the ability to do that by destabilizing or even eliminating the processes we have in place to stop them. That's what Doge was. He said it was we're going to come in and find waste, fraud, and abuse. The first thing he does when Elon Musk gets in there is force the entire government to start using his internet service provider, Starlink.

42:57

I remember. [snorts] He puts his software in every computer, steals all of our data. That story came out that uh what was it? Big BS or whatever, one of those 20-year-old kids stole like half the country's social security numbers,

43:11

right? Why why are they doing any of this if not for exactly what I'm saying? So, you either believe that these tech billionaires, and by the way, you can Google this. There are plenty of YouTube videos of high ranking uh executives at Palunteer basically saying they want to control the human population and that they need to reorganize the structure of humanity. These

43:33

um I have some homework to do tonight and Chad, you are so smart. You're more smart than I am. I I didn't ever think of it like that at all yet.

43:43

I've never That's the game being played here. Glo world governments don't matter anymore. It is whoever has the money controls everything. And the people at the very top are using their money to build systems that control all of the data that control the internet basically. And again, once that is done, and I I feel like ultimately it probably already is. There's not much we can do to stop it. Everything in the connected world runs through the internet. all of your money, all of your food, all of the news and information you see, all of your communication, and they can turn that on or off at will at

44:21

this point. Are you saying also then whoever wins the presidency will be whoever puts the most money behind it? Well, I mean, we saw that with Trump, right? Elon Musk gave him how many hundreds of millions of dollars for his his campaign and that bought Elon Musk access to all of these computer systems

44:40

and all those people all those people you just talked about. So they're going to decide who's our next president. they're going to try to and that really is I think what we're up against right now

44:52

for me like obviously anybody you got to figure out who you want to vote for and all that kind of stuff other than maybe AOC I don't think I would vote for anybody currently in office in any capacity they are all part of this problem they are either literally doing it complicit or ineffective in stopping it are the the three choices for any current sitting politician we are in this position because no one in government is effective or they are actively contributing to this situation.

45:24

Uh being paid off by these billionaires or are being blackmailed by these billionaires or you know who knows why they're doing it but they are. But that's the situation that I believe we're in. And you either believe that or you don't. And if you don't now you have a lot of other kind of um you know more antiquated views I think to choose from that it really is the Democrats versus the Republicans which I think is like that's not the case obviously and if that is the case the Democrats have lost you you need to give that up I think you know but um that's basically why I was

45:57

trying to play this project 2025 thing to you there is I mean for real there is a Mchavellian like evil villain plan being instituted by these billionaires through Project 2025 and Trump is just kind of like the useful idiot that they're guiding around to do this [ __ ] for them.

46:16

So, where do I go tonight to do my homework to look that up and read it? Um, I would start with Google around like the heads of Palunteer and Google Peter Teal. I remember seeing an interview where the interviewer asked him, "Do you think uh humanity should survive?" or something like that. And he's like, "Huh?" Well, like he can't give a straight answer to it because he's also a transhumanist. He believes that we should evolve into some like computer human hybrid basically.

46:51

You know, did you see those robots running the races? Oh my gosh. I mean, there are Yeah, there there has long been predicted. Do you know who Ray Kerswell is? Mm-m.

47:03

He's like kind of a famous futurist who predicted uh the singularity. I think he predicted it in 2046, which is like a full merger of humans and computer technology. Um but the he kind of foresaw like the big technologies that are going to dominate this era of human life are robotics, nanotech, and AI. And that's all actually coming true.

47:29

It's um they're all like kind of merging together right now. But yes, to do your homework, look up Palunteer. Okay, that is kind of the the company at the forefront of this. They are developing AI software that now that's what Pete Hegsath was like. We need to let Palunteer have AI kill software so that we don't even have human beings deciding where to do the drone strikes and [ __ ] anymore. It's just it's

47:53

Peter Teal's AI basically. But they're trying to reshape the world in a way that will give them complete control over everyone. Okay. Did you ever read 1984 Big Brother?

48:04

Yes. You're on a roll. I understand. I understand what you're saying. Okay. Um, well, thank you for doing this with me. I hope this has been illuminating to some degree.

48:18

Yes. Yes. And I hope that you take away from that guy that you showed me, that dude with the red beard and see some of that stuff. Yeah.

48:25

Yeah. that just like screaming into a camera, which I love that he's like, I'm not just going to scream into this camera like somebody else on TikTok. Then he proceeds to do that for a minute and a half.

48:37

Um, somebody doing that doesn't mean they're right. I know. And I feel that way on the left side when I see some of the left stuff, too. Yeah.

48:46

Yeah. Yeah. And I I'm I'm sure that people on the left are doing that same kind of [ __ ] You have to get the truth of these things for yourself.

48:58

I understand. I have homework. All right. Well, thank you for joining us for this Wednesday episode. We will be back on Sunday, maybe with Dad.

49:07

Maybe. Well, he's getting better. All right. We already have Oh, where's my little document? I don't know. I'm going [clears throat] to attempt this. Get ready.

49:16

You're gonna what? I'm gonna attempt something here. And I don't want to make fun of her, but I'm going to try. Okay, chat. Chad.

49:25

Yeah. And I [singing] will always love you. Love you. I tried the hardest I could. So, don't have haters, please. I love you, too.

49:43

I love you, too. Peace, Dolly. I tried. I tried. I I even like I was trying to mimic it and try really hard.

49:52

I love you, Chad. I love you, too. Thank you for doing this with me, Haley. Despite your absence, I love you. And please tell dad that I love him. I know he's in the next room resting comfortably in his new bed.

50:03

Yep. Yep. I love Haley and dad, too. He's got a brand new bed from the VA. It's really nice. Yeah. All right. Uh we'll see you Sunday. Thank you for joining us. Okay. Bye.
