America is deeply divided there are only two sides to every issue and there is no interest in finding common ground not even with members of your own family but as the 2024 presidential election Looms on the horizon there has never been a more important time to have the necessary conversation welcome to the necessary conversation I'm Chad culin with me is my sister Haley Pope a fellow Lefty and my parent Bob and Mary Lou Who are hardcore Maga Republicans who would die for Trump if he asked them to is that appropriate to say yes Dad yes my dad's a little sleepy today so he may be in and out of the show we'll see what's GNA happen uh but we are going to begin Today's Show as we begin all of our shows with a question from a listener and if you want to submit your questions to this very Show at us go from Los Angeles go hello cult and family this question is coming to you from California so I know how this will be received however my question is actually for Chad and Haley so your dad on the show has advocated for a few different genocides and has been a proponent of killing innocent women and children in other countries uh he wants to shoot Democrats says that white supremacy is a fact uh and also says that trans people are not real and don't deserve rights so my question to you is is your dad a good person I know that of course at the end of every episode you tell each other that you love each other and I think that's great so I know that you love each other but what I'd like to know is do you think that your dad is a good person there you go Haley uh there's there's intricacies woven into this right like not everything is black and white so we know our dad uh as someone else that that you've never experienced so um deep down like in my heart of hearts I've seen my dad do things that you've never seen I've experienced a life with him you know since for 42 years so if you're asking me do I feel like my dad deep down as a good person yes I don't think he would actually [ __ ] murder anyone I know that he says all of these things um you know but I take I take everything into consideration with this question asked me and given you know the 42 years that I've spent with my parents um I know them to be very good people yes I agree with what you're saying I I have specific memories of things that our dad has done that are very nice very good and I do think a lot of what you hear on the show is kind of Bluster it's it's presenting an attitude a little bit of a heightened version of his his actual self I mean I say that but also he really does yell like that in real life when we're not the show but also just I would say in terms of like is anybody a good person I don't really believe in good and bad or good and evil I think there is like more relativity essentially in any situation you can justify something uh if you were to say just blanket is murder good or bad most people would say bad unless you're murdering a certain person like Osama Bin Laden or something then it's good but that's still murder um so to me it's it's like we are all uh Scared Stupid animals trying to survive another day on a giant ball of dirt hurdling through space a million miles an hour to nowhere and uh we try to get through the best we can that's kind of how I see it I suppose here's the only question yeah if there was a person we were all in a house and there was a person that came into the house with a gun getting ready to shoot us down would your dad take a bullet for all of us would he take the bullet for you yes I think so yes he would he would take it for every [ __ ] one of us yeah that's what I'm saying I I I have seen him do things that are selfless and and sacrificing of his own uh Comfort or time or whatever throughout our lives as kids growing up um I think his political attitudes are you know they are what they are you hear him on this show those are abrasive for sure here's the deal here's the deal too as you guys get older and have less than you know half of your life left we have maybe maybe a quarter of our life left now we maybe have 10 years of Our Lives left so at the end when you are pushed into the last 10 maybe even the last five now for us you just say you say what the [ __ ] you want to say and you don't sure you know you don't you don't I guess you care about other people's feelings but you say what you want to say and [ __ ] the rest yeah but I will also say I mean that question gets to the heart of why I even wanted to do this show in the first place I think there is this attitude especially in this country uh that's like if you don't have my exact same political views and granted dads are maybe a little more extreme calling for genocide and [ __ ] like this like I don't know too many people that are actually activ when you hear my rant when you hear my rant today he will understand genocide okay gonna bring it all we'll see we're gonna be getting to very shortly through this question now yeah he's in my basket to see you later alligator oh of course of course but it like I was saying it gets to kind of the the heart of this show which is this idea in America that if you don't agree with someone's political views you are inherently a bad person or somehow there's something like intrinsically wrong with you on a fundamental level and this person should be written off never talk to again I ask you that question he's the stupid [ __ ] who has something intrinsically wrong with his [ __ ] attitude he's a [ __ ] okay so what I was saying was the reason that I even wanted to do this conversation was to show that you still can have relationships with people that have drastically opposing viewpoints and I think that that's like a big problem with why the country is so divided is once that switch is thrown in somebody's mind that's like well they're on the other side of this [ __ ] issue [ __ ] them they're a bad person I will never talk to them again I get DMS every once in a while from people saying like how can you keep platforming your father's ideas and opinions and I'm like I'm platforming them Donald Trump was [ __ ] president what what you want me to do about that like I the ideas and attitudes are out there this show is very specifically focused on our family relationship and how our differing political views have affected our ability to communicate or not over the past however many years but I do think this idea that if a person is um politically not aligned with Viewpoint they are a bad person is something that we have to overcome honestly and again I'm not advocating any of my dad's political ideas I disagree with all of them I I am not in support any kind of genocides I I don't believe people should be kill for any reason all that but I don't think my dad is a bad person like I said I think we're all just these scared tired animals trying to make sense of all this [ __ ] and some people have an aggressively violent reaction to that just a and by the way by the way all the DMS that I get that are bad I get good I get bad you know what if you don't get bad ones then you're doing something right I mean you know what I mean like if I'm not getting under somebody's skin then I feel like okay what am I doing right what am I doing wrong I get I get more good than bad but now I'm getting some bad ones about the side I took and you know what yeah there might be a million or two left right okay and I'm all I'm all for killing all the women and the children and the babies you know why you want to hear genocide you [ __ ] who are promoting abortion have killed millions of American babies who aren't even born yet so don't give me your [ __ ] righteous [ __ ] you are you are the ones creating genocide in our own [ __ ] country they're not I was gonna say that and I thought that but go Ahad Trump loves dictators a few days after skipping the third GOP debate Trump showed up in New Hampshire for a rally focused on the idea that the world was more peaceful during his time in office than it has been during Biden's Administration he discussed his desire to have his trials televised his day one plans to install Hardline anti-immigration policies including holding undocumented immigrants in camps and perhaps most importantly Trump took some time to Lavish Praise on authoritarian leaders calling Chinese president XI a top-of-the-line person a brilliant man and even going so far as to compliment his looks and voice he also complimented Kim jong-un's intelligence and the inotes total dominant control he exerts over the citizens of Kore and of of course he had to compliment Putin as a very top-of-the-line person as well despite the fact that Putin is currently Waging War against a US alley in Ukraine not our Ally now dad you have claimed that China let me get it to him listen to Chad for a minute dad you have claimed that China is the biggest threat to the United States that's right Enemy Number One right Trump complimented their presid president not only on his policies but on his looks do you find president she to be attractive oh he's he's just a hunka monka anyway no I don't uh like his looks but I will tell you this Trump Trump's smarter than they are and what Trump's doing is he's gonna bring that four-prong [ __ ] group together and they will be our enemy what Biden's doing is appeasing them making us weaker by the day and we will have think Trump is appeasing them by by telling that he's a good looking guy sucking oh you dumbass see you don't even understand you don't even understand business or anything else that's why you went to that [ __ ] [ __ ] school called us [ __ ] I don't know what the hell we're teaching you see so here's the bottom so here's the bottom line Trump trump is going to end up bringing all four of those guys to the table when he becomes president okay he he is the four guys huh there are only three guys that I mentioned there's four guys the four Putin there's Iran Kim Jong-un those are the ones he talked about specifically inire binsky balinsky is our enemy you just don't know it yet that [ __ ] has stole a hundred billion dollars us we're not talking about hasn't done [ __ ] in the [ __ ] war that he's gonna we're talking about China a minute all right Russia China North Korea and Iran okay so specifically those are people those are the four people he's gonna make look foolish as [ __ ] all right in a year you are anti-china Trump here pro-china does that change your attitude at all about China no he's not pro-china he complimenting their president how is that seen any other way you just hear it all don't you you dumb [ __ ] he was complimenting these four sons of [ __ ] when there was no war there's three only three well there were four no there were three he was not against pu you just think he was no he wasn't against any of these guys he's complimenting them all he said smart shut up you ask me I'm gonna tell you oh my God it doesn't matter how many of these [ __ ] there are war will be over a month after he's done being president now wait a minute oh no no no no we're not done with this [ __ ] now what you guys got to understand is the guy that you're that your Democratic party and liberal [ __ ] have been given $147 billion to Mr zalinski has stuffed it all in the back of his [ __ ] pants here's what I want to know if you have $147 billion doll can't defend you against Russia nothing's going to okay okay do you and he's a dead man he's a [ __ ] dead man you can chalk that up all right mom do you agree with what Trump said these three dictators are quote top-of-the-line people yes they're smart as [ __ ] well they run the big countries and God I said that they're better than the big fat black stupid [ __ ] we got running our country I'm not repeating that okay no repeating that they have to be smart because they run those big countries and people by that okay so then by that same logic Joe Biden is smart no Joe no Joe Biden did you see what a disgrace he but he runs the biggest country in the world right and how many people follow him very few right now he was entire country what are you talking about stupid black people he was such a disgrace at uh Lane of the wreath at the Earlington National Cemetery the guy that was the um the military person there at the wreath had to point him in the correct direction where to go afterwards he didn't even know where he was at it was ridiculous and Kim Jong Un is starving his entire population in North Korea they live in a complete social media blackout they can't go on the internet they rarely have electricity water blah blah blah right so that that guy is running that country better than Joe Biden is running America yes I don't same situation it's a different asking you it's a different thing the reason I'm asking this is because you guys follow everything Trump says he called these three dictators we're talking about Putin Kim Jong-un president XI he called them top-of-the line people I'm just asking if you agree with what Trump said here and if your logic is is well they are smart because they run these big countries that same logic must be applied to America and then therefore Joe Biden must be smart in your mind because he runs a bigger country than all of them no that logic those three people can find their way off a stage they can shake hands with a lot of people not dead ones they can speak Joe Biden can't okay I see so there is no logic applied here whatsoever do you believe we should be allied with um any of these these three countries we're talking about China North Korea Russia I'll tell you what I have I I have no idea dad thinks we should be allied with China North Korea and Russ all of them he said all of them okay I have no idea the world is so screwed up now it's so scary I have no idea what's happening I can't even do any WS anymore I can't do a w you got to get back on the Ws I think people like him so he I don't know where he is but he's just screaming in the background I'll go back no one can hear him it's making it hard to hear you he's going to say one more thing and then he's done this is it and then you're done get over here all right here's the deal yeah yes we should Ally oursel with those three people because down the road that's who we're going to have to be allied with or go to war with here's the problem you all don't understand yeah you're already halfway down the toilet and what's what we're being run by if if you want to stand here and try to compare intelligence level between North Korea Putin and South Korea or South North Korea China and Russia versus and Ukraine and versus the ignorant [ __ ] fat black people we have running this country you're a [ __ ] [ __ ] because Joe Biden doesn't run jack [ __ ] that Susan Rice is doing it and she's doing it for that black Muslim [ __ ] named Barack [ __ ] Obama who wants us to go down the toilet and is pushing us into war with those people so what you've got to understand is do you really believe that your fat black ignorant people running this country are smarter than those three people you talked about that isn't even a [ __ ] close call those people that you've got running our country are so [ __ ] stupid our dog could do a better job okay let me ask you this let me ask you this you guys are into some heavy conspiracy theories about other people running the United States and stuff I just want to ask one question to see how far deep down this conspiracy theory goes I watched something this weekend about a a kind of Fringe qinon conspiracy so I'm just going to ask you this question do you believe John F Kennedy Jr is dead stop John F Kennedy Jr dad you mean the one that's running for president or or the one that was killed in the airplane no the one who took a [ __ ] head shot no that's John F Kennedy I'm talking about JFK Jr John John the one that was in the air yes in the aane his with his fiance or wife at the time yeah yes he's dead so all right let's move on to our next topic Trump's authoritarian policy to indict his political enemies during an interview with Univision Trump said if I happen to be president and I see somebody who's doing well and be him me very badly I say go down and indict them we're not laughing anymore don't mostly they would be out of business they'd be out they'd be out of the election Prosecuting political Rivals and seeking to jail them common strategy used by authoritarian reg regimes to maintain control when they cannot win fair and free elections Chris Christie who is challenging Trump but has lagged in the polls warned that although the strategy didn't work for Trump in his first term because there were members of his cabinet and other high-ranking officials in various government departments that refused to do his Dirty Work notably vice president Mike Pence and former Attorney General Bill bar the second time around Christy warned that Trump and his allies are already planning to install far-right attorneys in the federal government who will carry out Trump's orders regardless of their legitimacy The Washington Post reported earlier this month that Trump and his allies were already discussing how to use the justice department to prosecute and exact revenge against people who have spoken out against Trump including Bill bar and his former Chief of Staff John Kelly he is also reportedly considering invoking the Insurrection act on his first day in office uh should he win which will allow him to deploy the military against domestic protesters which there be a bunch of with all these wars going off so are you Mom okay with the president using the FBI and the justice department to exact political Revenge yes what's any different what's any different than what's going on right now what they're doing to Trump let me ask you do you believe there's ever a point where a president could have actually committed crimes that deserve to be prosecuted in court yes B sure you believe Biden is Biden the crime family Bing with his crime family okay so let's just do this down a logic path here you believe the current president take all the politics out of it take Republican Democrat out of it you believe the current president has committed crimes that are worthy of Criminal Justice yes therefore do you believe other presidents could have done that no like in you are baiting me to say it's I'm trying to get you to understand I'm trying to get you to understand that presidents are not above the law and I know that you guys are in Trump's cult so you believe is a Jesus return it's just who gets caught right and who and who gets and who Trump got caught and who gets prosecuted fairly without double standards Trump didn't get caught because Trump didn't do it there's no way anything is gonna hold on Trump and he's gonna be our next president I can't wait for the next year so let's say that he's the next president and he gets in and the first thing he does is he uses the FBI and the doj to just [ __ ] every Democrat jail puts them all in jail right let's say that happens that's obviously a Civil War uh but let's say that it doesn't result in a civil war let's say that we just weather the storm for the next four years and let's say somehow there is a fair and free election even after Trump dismantles the entire system that governs elections let's say there is one and he gets voted out and the next Democratic president that comes in then puts him in jail immediately that would be fine with you because that's the system we're in now right no we'll we'll shoot people I think we are in a system of law lessness and nothing makes sense and and whoever is the worst bad guy right now is winning yes that's what I think Haley what do you think will be the result of this if what he's saying he's gonna do he does do that he gets in on the first day of office he puts out the military against all protesters and he starts to arrest Democrats awesome I think Dad's dream will potentially come true I do think it will uh become a civil war because at that point like we're already [ __ ] fearing for our lives here right and and Biden is in [ __ ] office so yes if Trump takes over it will become a lawless land completely and we will have no [ __ ] choice I don't know about this I I would like to see I would like to see this if he does get in and if he does he will be our next president I would like for him to uh get our milit AR get whoever we need and say if you are not if you did not come into this country legally like fris Staten Island the way they did a long time ago uh if you don't have papers if you're not here legal get your ass out yeah yeah I'm sorry thank you yes get your ass out yes why should we be paying for people that are here illegal and we can't even help our own veterans our own homeless people that need help yeah this was not the question this is not what we're talking about on this seg what we're talking about here is Trump saying that he is going to put the US military in the streets to quell political protests now I believe as we saw in his first go around the US military fights back when he gives them orders to do [ __ ] sometimes they'll say no and strangely I believe the military is so far has proven that it is kind of the one area of government that is not corruptible by Trump so I think when he says okay Army [ __ ] whoever he's gonna put out in the streets I don't know who he's got in mind here but when he calls up the army or the Marines or whatever and says get out on the streets and start [ __ ] uh getting these protesters I think they're gonna tell him to [ __ ] himself I think those I think the heads of the military are gonna be like dude that won't cause any trouble because you guys are wrong you're wrong it won't C Civil War you know why don't yell your side is too big a [ __ ] puss to fight back we will run you over like [ __ ] cockroaches okay there you go but who's we but who's we like you and Military and Trump here's what I do believe oh my God right now your military is run by another what big fat black dumass named Austin you're done leave okay do you believe that this is how democracy is supposed to work whoever's in power should arrest everyone else no but I do believe this there ha I'm talking your brother Joe Biden started that [ __ ] oh there has to be someone that can stand up and stop like um you know the Looting uh the protest now going on why stop the protest why do you want to stop the protests because it's escalated to a point where people's lives are in danger I would not want to walk a street and be afraid someone would shoot me but you guys were okay with the Insurrection right like you were okay with that God don't even start that no that's a valid question you're against protests you were day who was killed on that day someone on our side who is not armed how many people feared for their [ __ ] life that Ashley babit was killed by the security guard who later was given a medal she wasn't even armed she was doing nothing but standing there no she was trying to break through a window to go get all of the the Senators they were chanting bring us to their heads [ __ ] they wanted to take Nancy Pelosi and uh kill her in public were you there yeah none of us were there okay well if none of us were there then it probably never happened what I'm saying is Haley's question is valid here you're against protesters but you're okay with that which was not even a protest many of these people are in jail for it they committed criminal acts the protests I'm against are like the Summer of Love where there was looting fir people killing each other and that's fine that's just fine I guess no it's not these are anti-war protests we're talking about currently right now which is going to be one of our subjects there are a bunch of protests worldwide over the what's happening in Gaza you think that those people should be met with military force I don't know which protest you're talking about I'm talking about get to okay uh let's uh we gotta simmer down and then we've got two more subjects and we'll get to those protests all right so the simmer down is the new Beatles song now and then it came out a couple of weeks ago it hit the number one charts number one on the charts it dethrown Taylor Swift uh oh Paul McCartney used AI technology to bring John lennin back to life have you guys heard this song I haven't heard it but I heard I mean I heard of it but I haven't listen to it yeah Haley have you heard it yeah what' you thinkes does it sound exactly like him yes uh it yeah I mean it sounds like him recording weird yeah it's weird I don't know uh I mean not there are times where I'm just conflicted because there are times where like I'm ready on board like AI is basically going to take everything over and I just need to let it like sit with it and kind of roll around in it and then there's times where I don't like it because I hear artists that I love you know like AI covers of other songs and their voices and [ __ ] but it's not really them I don't know I'm I'm conflicted I don't know like like that song ala Presley singing with his daughter and stuff yeah that was it's so far beyond that I mean in the next five years you're going to be able to just ask an AI whatever AI assistant you use make me a new Nirvana song and it will do that um I I think like the the hesitation we have as a species like oh real I don't know what's happening AI is it's a generational thing that won't exist in the Next Generation Um for me personally I loved that this happened the song was like okay I think but it is getting the The Wider population ready for what's about to happen with AI being able to generate virtually anything thing creatively are you guys either one of you talking to chat GPT or do you talk to any AIS in your life at all yeah we do chat we do the chat GPT sometimes at work for shits and gigs uh just FYI Chad yeah you got to throw a little AI in your Donald Trump impersonation solid nice I have before I have before on the computer started a a chat like that I'm going what the hell is it I don't want this and then I click out of it it scares me okay fair enough let's get back to one more thing I did read I did read this morning um with the AI it was uh Leonard Skinner uh his wife would never let his voice you know go out for anything once because he's dead and she's allowing Dolly pardon to use it in a song Oh that morning nice so do mayi all right let's move let's get back into the meat of our program we're talking about Trump on TV Trump and his legal team are endorsing an effort by news organizations to provide live television coverage of his trial on federal charges that he conspired to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election in a legal filing submitted last Friday Trump's attorneys argued he's the victim of political persecution by President Joe Biden's Administration and should be allowed to use the platform of Television to showcase the proceedings unfairness Trump and his legal team are blatantly ignoring a federal court rule that has been in place for decades prohibiting broadcasting of Criminal Court proceedings prosecutors from special counsel Jack Smith's team cited that rule last week in an opposing in opposing the effort Sorry by several news outlets to win permission to offer video and audio coverage of this historic trial Smith's team also presented the defense that TV coverage would present risks to the trial potentially intimidating Witnesses and jurors the judge I don't know what he's doing back there is he just chirping just let me read through this [ __ ] and then we can talk the judge in this trial imposed a gag order on Trump and his Council prohibiting him from using social media and other platforms to mount attacks on the prosecution Court staff and potential Witnesses which an appeals court has now stayed the former president has denounced the order as an infringement of his first amendment rights and an intrusion on his ongoing presidential campaign video coverage of the trial could provide Trump and his lawyers with an even bigger platform to do all the things the gag order is attempting to prohibit number one mom do you think Trump is a snowflake because he's whining about uh they're infringing on my first amendment rides my presidential campaign I'm victimized no and I don't see why he can't do what he wants to do they're gagging him but yet if you flip on Newsmax you will see that black um what's her name she's up there saying today this is what happened in court and she's talking about everything happened I don't know who you're talking talking about his daughter allowed cameras um yeah she allowed cameras in there one day and it seems like when she the judge who is this no not the judge uh the one that's Prosecuting against him the fat black niggaer the the yeah the lawyer the white uh judge he allows cameras in so he can take pictures and make funny faces have you guys not seen any of that no but yet they're gagging Trump not to say a word I say let the cameras in Trum is the defendant in the case yes so I think that that means a little more than just if you're a lawyer in or whatever you can go out and talk to the media I don't think there have been cameras in the courtroom the judge the judge told him he could not talk at all here's dad he's gonna be good be good all right that judge that you're referring to yeah told Trump he didn't care what he had to say go back and said down and shut up and this was on TV because the the big fat black district attorney in DC allowed cameras to come into that court but now they can't come in there when Trump wants them okay well this is a is this a different trial though it's a federal trial does that have any bearing on this DC trial DC trial DC Court Judge DC attorney general who shouldn't okay so you believe it should be televised then yes I do why not it's a truth why not get the cameras rolling Haley do you believe this trial should be televised I don't think Trump should ever be put on TV uh for any reason I believe he would incite violence definitely [ __ ] you'd have all kinds of death threats and [ __ ] you know what would happen no I think he's a monster and and don't televise it at all yeah because if he was televised and the truth came out you guys would lose and he would win the truth is going to come out regardless it's a [ __ ] Tri they're about to have all those maralago employees testify yeah he's [ __ ] the his other trial what do you think is gonna happen with that Jo B has kept his sins under wrap for 40 years don't think it's gonna come out automatically I don't know he's mumbling um I think Trump Nothing's Gonna stick I think he's gonna be our next president in one year I can't believe we've done this podcast for a year I'm hanging on I'm hanging on by threat here this is an at will endeavor anybody ever wants to eject that's fine no harm no foul it's been hard but I'm not giving up I'm not giving up till the day we're sitting here I'm G say I told you so he's our new president I mean the reason that I wanted to start this podcast like about a year ago is because a we hadn't talked in a long time but B I was like that election's coming up and I think this podcast can get really like interesting as we approach that 2024 election so hopefully we can hang on till then but as I said that will if you're if you're done you're done I totally get it but you also when we first started this you said now Mom people are going to hate you they're going to give you death threats they're not going to like you can you deal with that and guess what I've never got a death threat yet oh congrats um I have a lot of we love you Mary lose I did I did get a kind of bad one last week I won't get into that I just and and um the only person I will resp fond back to is I like my daily clouds person she's very sweet and nice everybody else go [ __ ] yourself okay back to the topic at hand do you think this this uh ongoing tension about televising Trump's trial or not is a problem with the legal system or is it more on the shoulders of for-profit cable news who they don't really care what they're putting on their Airwaves as long as it's getting ratings which they know this would yeah maybe that's good that's a good thought too we are talking about protests in America protesters seeking a ceasefire and the brutal Israeli attacks on Palestinian citizens erupted across the Globe last week with thousands of protesters turning out in major cities across the globe including London Paris and New York the New York protest saw Manhattan traffic disrupted and people's access to Grand Central Terminal was hindered as the protesters demonstrated in New York City this is uh last Friday night there were some arrests made there as well demonstrators some waving Palestinian flags and holding signs with messages such as quote free free Palestine and end the genocide gathered in Columbus Circle in the afternoon before marching to Manhattan's east side to the area around Time Square and eventually to Grand Central what what is he doing I'm telling him I just got to get through these things go ahead go and then he can talk six people were arrested for disorderly conduct during mostly peaceful demonstrations the Israel Hamas War Began last month after Hamas launched a series of attacks on Israel Israeli communities and Gatherings near Gaza on October 7th attacks that Israel says it believes killed about 12200 people now more than 11,000 Palestinians have been killed in subsequent Israeli attacks in Gaza most of whom are regular citizens with no ties to Hamas um Mom should should people be allowed to
