In the aftermath of the 2024 election, America is even more divided than before. Half the country fears the end of democracy, and the other half welcomes it. As America inches [music] toward the brink of authoritarian rule, now more than ever, we must force ourselves to have the necessary conversation. Welcome to the necessary conversation. I'm Chad Coulchron. With me is my sister Haley Pop and my mom Mary Lou Colchin. Today we're going to dig into the top six what I perceive to be the top six political issues of the week. Before we do that, Mom, do you have diddies?
I have a diddy. It's actually It's actually a political topic that we are not talking about. Um, how about the seven men that raped the girl on Cornell campus and got a slap on the wrist and had to just write papers about it? It's absolutely insane.
Wow. How about that? Is that because all of the men who made those decisions are also rapists? Is that because men protect men and it's just a long line of rapists from the president down?
When did that happen? This this uh last week or week before maybe it started and the story has kind of like snowballed from there. I It may be that it may also just be that these universities don't want any form of liability for any [ __ ] like this. period. You know, it might be like more about big business type [ __ ] inoculating themselves against like, oh, that didn't happen here. Nothing to see.
I can't that this is like common place now. And you hear these stories all the time. And a woman like all in the span of a week that happened. Okay. So, seven men raped one girl and one of them was her friends. brought her into their frat house, drugged her, raped her for seven hours, had a group chat going with all their other fraternity brothers. Why don't you come in, too? Not one of those people in the group chat reported it or [ __ ] said [ __ ] about it. They should all be [ __ ] gone in jail. So, that happened.
A woman on like a United flight or something, some guy was jacking off right next to her. She told the [ __ ] pilot or I don't know, flight attendants, they were like, they were like, "Yeah, just sit back in your seat."
Are you [ __ ] kidding me? I saw that one. Yeah. And then some other dude stabbed a girl 10 times because she thwarted his advances and wouldn't go on a date with her. Like violence against women every day, all [ __ ] day. And it starts at the tippy top because we have a president who rapes women and children and gets away with it.
Oh my. Okay, that's your rant. Yeah, come in hot, mom. I did. Yeah, I had a different kind. Mine is Ping Ping. Welcome, Pingping the male. Welcome, Fooang, the female. They arrived today in Atlanta, September 27th, from a research base in China. That's the pandas. Uh, they will have to be quarantined one month, and then the public can view them. They're here for 10 years on a conservation research agreement between China. Um they were gifts they said that was that was given to us while the president was here Atlanta Zoo and between the China Wildlife Center.
Well, I hate zoos so whatever. Well, yes, but we got we got the pingpong here ping ping. Also another diddy. Taylor Swift's new for songs suck.
I've been watching I've been wait I shouldn't say watching. I have been living for the reactions to these songs. They are incred. There's some Tik Toks that have made me laugh for like 15 minutes straight
about how bad the lyrics are and just like making fun of the whole thing. So, are the wheels coming off the Taylor Swift bus? Is that what's happening?
Yifties are turning. I think at least half of her fan base at this point is like, "Fuck you. I'm [ __ ] done with this [ __ ] This act this music is actual [ __ ] garbage. I listened to the four that like came out and it's like what the [ __ ] is this [ __ ] Did AI write it? It's like the most juvenile. I I'm just I don't know.
I'm not a Swifty anymore. I actually think she's garbage. You're not an ethical person. You're a billionaire. Wait, wait, wait. This is a big change for you.
No, you guys have known this. The wedding was the turn. You loved her. Yeah, I did. And then you start realizing when you back away like everything's performative. You're just a white feminist. It's not intersectional. Like there's so many problems with what Taylor Swift does. I have turned hardcore. This music was trash.
Me and Chad, this music was garbage. And if if there's people out there that like it, I I think like that's kind of cult mentality. I did I did see a couple reviews on Instagram. These people that I follow and they said they didn't like them either. So maybe you're on the same page there.
No ethical billionaires will maintain it. Any Swifties out there, these opinions do not represent the opinions of the show. Merely the opinions of two [laughter] people on the show. Okay.
I have one more diddy. How odd is this? Haley's got two. I got two. We got too many diddies. That xlist.org where they had me with my the X's. You know, at first I thought it's kind of creepy. Then I really looked it looked it over. I thought I don't look bad AI. Okay. Uh, whoever did this took a lot of time out of their day to figure this all out.
Yeah. Um, it was kind of creepy to me in the beginning, but now I'm like, it's brilliant. I like it. I liked it.
Haley, did you see our Wednesday episode? Do you know what she's talking about? Well, I know that you talked about exes. Yes. Okay. And I sent you the picture.
Someone made a website called it and I saw it. Yes, I looked at the website. I am well aware. Yeah, the [clears throat] Xlist.
I have one more. I'll keep it short. Miss Rachel started following Hive Bakery. [laughter] I love Miss Rachel. Miss Rachel. Do you guys not know who [ __ ] Miss Rachel is?
Oh, no. I can Google it. Jesus Christ. She's like a huge personality for children, but she is very outspoken about uh the genocide happening in Palestine. And she gives all of her time, energy, and even money to crusade for like the children over there in Gaza. So, she's even had them on her show and [ __ ]
Songs for Little. It says she's best known for YouTube series Songs for Littles. Yeah, she's like an Earth Angel that crusades for children.
Earth Angel. What's that mean? It means that she does good for this world. Oh, 21.4 million subscribers on YouTube. Jesus. Wow, Miss Rachel is awesome.
Hi, Miss Rachel. Hi, Miss Swifty. We support you. Okay, let's move on to our listener question. If you have a question first, all you have to do is record it in a one minute or shorter video format. Send it to the necessary conversation [email protected]. Put in the subject line the word question. Don't try and trick me. If you put question in the subject line, but there's no video attached, I still don't open it.
Are you ready for today's question? Don't trick me. I said, don't try and trick me. Oh, it's a waste of your time and mine. All right, here is our listener question for this week. [snorts]
Hi everyone, I'm Paige from Las Vegas, but today we are here at the beautiful reflecting pool as you can see. My question is for Mary Lou. I was just wondering what makes you trust the president that has lied to you multiple times over your own children. Thank you.
All right. An interesting question here. The question, Mom, did you hear it? Yes. Okay. So, what is the answer? Why do you trust Donald Trump who has you have even admitted has lied to you multiple times over me and Haley?
I'm not saying I trust. I disagree with a lot of his policies and a lot of things that are going down right now.
I trust both of you. I agree with some of your things. I agree with not all of your things. So that's I mean trust is a big word.
Yeah. But the the basic kind of point of that question is for the four plus years now that we've been doing this show, Haley and I have been trying to explain to you that Trump is grifting you. He is lying to you to stay in power to make more money. You don't believe that. Right.
I I do see some of it, but I also see the good stuff that he does. Okay. Right. But the the again the kind of base point of that question is why do you still remain loyal to this guy that your own children are saying is lying to you to steal your money? You mean why do I pick some of that over you two?
Yeah. Why don't you believe us? [snorts] Because you're liberals and you're way on the other side of politics than I am. You mean because you're in a cult. You have an undying fanaticism for Donald Trump.
Just because you're my kids, I don't have to agree with everything you guys say or do either. Just because he's the president doesn't mean you have to agree with him.
This is correct. I'm I'm finding my way. I'm finding my way. Yeah, you should. Haley, if you didn't watch our Wednesday episode, you should check it out. I think it would be interesting to you. All right. Well,
I forgot one more diddy. I have to put it in here. There was a lot of [ __ ] happening and it was all bad and I feel like I have to get off my chest and discuss it.
Okay. All right. Bring it. The Nolan Wells case. Okay. The black kid that was [ __ ] murdered in my opinion in Jackson County, Mississippi. The uh I guess the independent autopsy, right? It concluded no [ __ ] water in lungs or stomach indicating did not drown. Also blunt force trauma to the back of his head.
There's also discrepancies in the cell phone [ __ ] So like he's been murdered. Yeah. And they just dismissed it. I agree 100% with you. I agree with you, Haley. Big
also all of these uh black people being found hanging in trees and the local police departments are ruling them suicides. I haven't seen that.
Like the the the air is like just thick with Yes. all all of this [ __ ] is happening and like nobody's doing anything about it. And every day I wake up to stories of just like rape and murder and f I like I can't handle what is going on. And I need for a huge shift to happen politically. And I I believe that it has to be. All of these people go to [ __ ] prison and we need a radical [ __ ] change because Democrats are worthless.
And so I feel like at what point do we shift to something more radical because Democrats are just as [ __ ] worthless as Republicans?
I can't handle it. You need some calming medicine today. CBD. I need the [ __ ] world to change. Yeah, I know. I know.
All right, Mom. You have once again shifted completely to one side of the frame. Let's begin our program now in earnest. Our first subject is China. This week, American dictator Donald Trump rolled out the red carpet for Chinese dictator Xihinping and hosted a state dinner for him. But Trump used to be one of the loudest critics of presidents who did the exact same thing. In 2012, when Barack Obama welcomed then Vice President Xi to the Pentagon with full military honors, Trump tweeted, "So wrong at Barack Obama is hosting China's VP Xiinping today at the Pentagon."
You know, that's funny, Haley. Come on. In 2015 on Fox News, Trump said he wouldn't throw she a state dinner at all. I'd get him a McDonald's hamburger and I'd say, "We got to get down to work." And on the 2016 campaign trail, forget the state dinners that cost, by the way, a fortune. [gasps] Fast forward to Wednesday. Trump personally greeted she at Joint Base Andrews, the first president since 1962 to welcome a leader there in person. Trump forced US service members onto their hands and knees to smooth and clean the red carpet for Shei. Then on Thursday, Trump hosted a lavish state dinner for Shei with
billionaire tech overlords Tim Cook, Jensen, Huang, Elon Musk, and more. Despite supposedly discussing AI, trade, and the US Iran war, and Taiwan's independence from China, tangible results of the discussions were non-existent. Mom, why do you think Trump rolled out the red carpet for China's dictator when he criticized multiple other presidents for doing the exact same thing?
[snorts] Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer. Clinton 1997, George Bush 2006, Obama 2011 and 2015, and then Trump in 2026. All had them come, had him come.
I think it's national security. I think it's uh going over our trade and economy, helping to protect our United States. Mhm. Keep [clears throat] your friends close but en enemies closer. We know we've never been friends with China.
Dad said that that would be our downfall. You've dodged the question completely. I'll ask it again. What? What? Why do you think Trump rolled out the red carpet for China's dictator when he criticized other presidents for doing the exact same thing?
Times have changed. We have to have that enemy closer to us now to figure things out. So all those things I read down.
Uh so all those things I read you about him shitalking other presidents for doing this and now he himself does it. The hypocrisy of that is meaningless to you.
Yeah, that is a little strange. You would say that early on. But the way that you state this stuff too is ridiculous. Saying how Trump made them bow down to clean the
They did. Did you see the picture? I did see it. Trump was not there with a whip giving him 50 lashes for not getting down there smoothing it out. They were literally smoothing out the carpet where everybody was going to walk. I see nothing wrong with it. I see nothing wrong with with China's president here.
Did you see the picture this week of Trump screaming at the pilot of the airplane he was boarding? No. Okay. Did you see the picture of
Yeah. [snorts] Did you see the picture of Donald Trump standing next to Xihinping saluting and when the plane flies overhead, he winces like a little baby? Did you see it?
Yes. Mom. Yeah, it was the It was a noise barrier thing, maybe. So, how do you think that made Trump look when he winced at that plane? Do you think it made us look strong as a country?
Of course not. I saw it, I thought, what is he doing? Mhm. Melania did not. No one did. He was the only one who did. He's weak.
I know. And I read also they thought it was quite odd that he had gloves on when it was 64 degrees, right? And then when you finally did see his hands, they were caked with makeup. So, he's been go whatever treatments he's getting where they're having to Ivy the back of his hands. Clearly, that's still going on.
Means he's close to death. Yeah, we're about to get another Mitch McConnell. I think he'll just be sitting there. Stop it. Stop it, you two.
Now, [clears throat] I'm sure you've spoken to dad about this. He is still not on the program. China was dad's number one enemy. Constantly talking about it. You got to watch out for China. China. China. China. What does he think? Have you discussed it with him about Trump hosting him for a lavish state dinner? Our number one enemy.
And he was going to talk, but I didn't have time to record him. I'll do it soon. What he said is the part about keep your enemies closer. He said, "Of course they're our enemy."
Okay. But other presidents have brought them over him over too. Okay. So now I just want to make this very apparent for you. You and dad for the past I don't know almost this entire show certainly over at least the course of the last year have really ratcheted up the idea that China is a horrible uh number one enemy. It's going to destroy the world. China. Oh, China's going to kill you. other [ __ ] Now Trump hosts a dinner for the Chinese president and you guys are like, "Well, of course he had to do that.
He had no choice. You have to keep your enemies close." So [laughter] you have true, right? So you've made up some story in your mind to justify an action that Donald Trump did that is counter to everything you have said for the past year.
Yeah. Dad had them like paratrooping into your neighborhood with semi-automatic weapons and going door to door. No, he had them doing that in California.
In California at Chadstep. Okay. I'm just saying I'm not saying he's our best friend. I don't think Trump would say that he is our best friend either.
The Chinese president. He's not our best friend. Correct. He is not our best friend, but Trump has rolled out the red carpet for him. So, you think that was all just show?
Some of it. Some of it's for uh diplomacy, for like I said, keep your enemies closer. Maybe they did have some good talking points. We don't know. We don't know what they talked about.
Um yeah, nothing. I had heard I had heard something about AI stuff like that. I don't know. All right. So, you're in support of Donald Trump?
Yes, you are. You're in support of Donald Trump rolling out the red carpet for the Chinese dictator against all things that you've said over the past year. You support the idea.
But also, wasn't Elon Musk there? Yeah. Why? Elon Musk, Jensen Huang, Tim Cook, all the CEOs of the big tech companies that want to do business with China were there. That's what this whole thing was really truly about in my opinion. It was Trump setting up his billionaire buddies with open lanes of access to the Chinese government so they can get their products there so they can start trading in AI chips and all that [ __ ] [snorts]
That's ridiculous. That cannot be done in one state dinner, one night. Absolutely it can. What are you talking about? Hi, I'm Tim Cook. We'd like Apple stores in every city in [laughter] China.
Okay, sounds good. How much you going to pay us? But how much do you want? Couple billion. All right, done deal. Next. Hi, I'm Jensen Huang, CEO of Nvidia. We'd like to be able to sell our uh AI chips in China. Okay, how much you going to pay us? Couple billion. Sounds good. All right. They can do it in one second.
Mhm. Hello. You with us? Yes. I didn't even think like that. I just thought it was because he's No, he's corrupt. And you refuse to acknowledge that?
Why do you think those people were there? If it was just a thing for the United States government and the Chinese government to talk to each other about the war and this and that and the other thing, why have all of these tech CEO billionaires there? Why? to honor that president that came all the way over here to honor him.
The [ __ ] Why? How does How does a CEO of a company being present honor him? It's it was a state invited dinner. So, you have some of the higherups in the United States there to say welcome.
That's the president. Let's move on. Our second topic is Trump TV. Last week, American dictator Donald Trump violated the Constitution by banning reporters from CNN, MS Now, and Politico from the White House, ABC, CBS, NBC, and even Fox News suspended their pulled coverage in solidarity. In response, the White House launched its own alternative Trump TV. Despite the name, it is not a television network. It's a 247 live stream on the White House's existing YouTube channel, also available in the White House app, replaying Trump speeches and administration highlights. The stream opened Monday night with about 8,000 people watching it, lost roughly half of that within 90 minutes, and fell below
2500 people watching it by 10:40 p.m. By Wednesday morning, one count found Trump TV had just 427 viewers. The rollout had other stumbles, too. Comments were turned off, and the promo video violated copyrights by using clips from shows like Friends and Breaking Bad. And with the network pool sideline, the White House's own video of Trump cutting the ribbon on the White House's new helellipad aired without sound. Early Thursday, Judge Timothy Kelly, a Trump appointee, ordered the White House to restore the outlets the various press outlets access for 14 days, finding their passes were likely revoked without due process. But that morning, reporters from all three outlets were still turned
away, and MS Now and CNN journalists were blocked from covering Xihinping's state dinner arrival. Mom, did you watch any of Trump TV? I clicked on it, uh, watched it for about five minutes and then clicked off. Now, it's a live stream. Who cares? It's not a network TV with like ratings and stuff. Why y'all in an uproar about it? Who cares? Watch it if you w want, watch it if you don't want. Because what he's trying to do here is what is called staterun television which in our country is a against the constitution but b this is what all authoritarians do. They remove the free
press's access to investigate them to do journalism on them and then they create their own television networks. Hello can you hear us? But it's YouTube. It's not like TV ratings or anything.
What all authoritarians do is they get rid of the ability for the population to say anything negative about them or to investigate them in any way. That starts with television stations. It starts with journalists. So that's what Trump is doing. He's revoked access to multiple press outlets to come in and cover him. Then he replaces it with his own state sponsored media. That's Trump TV.
Luckily, Trump and his entire crew are idiots and they don't know how to do it. So, it was so bad that it got down to 427 people watching it. But generally speaking, what that ultimately becomes is its own TV network or they co-opt something like Fox News or Newsmax or whatever and that becomes like the state uh news network and they just say whatever they want about themselves.
Everything's great. We're winning the war. Inflation doesn't exist. Everything's affordable and they promote that through their own channels. That's what Trump TV is an attempt at.
Like I said, it I got on it for a second, got back off. [snorts] But do you see the problem with what's going on? They're trying to literally just feed us propaganda and get rid of all real news and and real journalism. You don't have to get on that if you don't want to. It's just a weird stream thing.
But you're not getting like if he gets rid of all the other news networks, which is what he's trying to do, your only option will be to go to Trump TV. You see that eventual possibility, right? [snorts]
That's what they Oh, boy. That's what they said about X. X too and that never happened. What? That's what they said about X. That that would be the only one communication and that never happened.
Nobody ever said that about X. You guys hear me? After extreme technical difficulties, my mom has switched locations in the home. Maybe her computer will have a chance of getting an internet signal. Now, uh let's move on. We we were discussing Trump TV, but let's just move on to our third topic, martial law. With the midterms just over five weeks away, a report from The Atlantic this week revealed that a group of Trump loyalists wants him to seize control of this fall's federal elections by declaring martial law. One is Peter Tictton who helped Trump sue Hillary Clinton in 2022. Conservative host Wayne Allen Root
has also argued for national emergency declaration and Tina Peters, the former Colorado clerk convicted of tampering with voting equipment has also pushed similar ideas. Trump hasn't said he plans to declare martial law, but he did share on one of uh Wayne Allen Root's columns. He did share one of Wayne Ellen's columns calling his plan foolproof. As Trump and the White House continue to push their narrative of widespread voter fraud, a declaration of martial law seems possible. If declared, Trump would have the ability to station military personnel at polling places and potentially confiscate ballots or even declare the entire election invalid.
Mom, would you be okay with Trump declaring martial law in order to take over the upcoming election? I have two words. Never happen.
Okay, this is one. It'll never happen. This is one of your defenses. Anytime we bring up that Trump is doing something bad or trying to do something bad, you say, "Well, it'll never happen." But the guy you support is trying to do this [ __ ] The people in his inner circle are telling him to do this [ __ ] So whether it happens or not,
what if they attempt it? What if this is a real thing? Like I said, it'll I just I truly believe it will never happen.
So, you're at least admitting that it's [ __ ] insane. Yes. That we do not have rampant voter fraud. That's not a thing. Correct.
No, we do. There is a small percentage. We know this. But I don't think martial law will ever be enforced or happen. I really don't.
Okay. is that if he does declare martial law, will you denounce him? No, I won't denounce him. [laughter] But Right. So, he's tampering with our free He's tampering with free and fair elections. And you're like, that's cool.
Yeah, you can [ __ ] wreck the system. Who cares? This is like our This is the last thing that we have is like free and fair elections to get these pieces of [ __ ] out of office. Correct. So if he rigs the system, you're not going to denounce him.
Dad's just yeping in the background. It's not going to happen. He said we don't have free and fair elections, but he will never bring martial law.
You keep saying it's not going to happen, which eludes that you think that would be [ __ ] insane. Correct. What? Martial law.
Yes. Um, stop listening to dad. He's not part of this. [laughter] Shut the [ __ ] up. you. Oh, Haley, be nice. Be nice.
No, he doesn't get to chime in and make up your mind. He doesn't get to chime in. The agreement was he's got to be 100% to get on the show, so he's quiet.
These questions are for you. I don't need him tampering with your [ __ ] vote here. Dad said, "You brought the podcast in here." Okay. I don't believe martial law will ever happen. If it does, then wow, then my eyes are really going to be wide. Okay.
Does that mean that you you will denounce Donald Trump? Because that would be his fault. His decision to tamper with voting. Yes. He's the only person who can declare martial law.
Yeah. It's not going to happen. Mark my words. It's not going to happen. Okay. But you're you're hypothetically. Hypothetically, it's not going to happen.
I understand. Hush. Hush. If it happens, you're still saying that you're unwilling to denounce Trump. You're saying you're against this. It's crazy if it happens, but I'll still support Trump if he does it.
No. Yeah. I didn't say that. Your dad's saying he would. I probably would not. I would not probably. So if martial law is is in effect during our [ __ ] voting course, you're going to say that like you don't support him anymore.
I might. We need a yes or no answer right now. I might. Quit pressuring me, you little [ __ ] Okay, let's move on to our simmer down.
Simmer down. I can't do this. Yeah. Tell him all of his audio will be cut out of the show. Did you say simmer down time?
Um, let's move on. Yes. God damn, your internet's still so bad. Here's the simmer down. [clears throat] What is your favorite Arnold Schwarzenegger movie? And you must do an impersonation.
Who's going first? I'll be back. Aa vista, baby. This is actually really hard because [snorts] like we grew up Yeah. on his movies
and there's so many choices and uh I don't there's two there's so many um my I think my actual favorite Arie movie probably that I've seen more times than any other is Terminator 2: Judgement Day.
Okay. followed closely by Total Recall. Um, okay. We What's the quote? And Predator and Predator. There were just There's so many. It's hard. Get to the chopper.
I don't know. Stick around. Um, that was uh Commando. Stick around. Or is that Predator? Stick around. Yeah. Is that Commando or [clears throat] come back?
He threw a knife through a guy. live off some steam. Yeah. Um that was that movie. Yeah. A Vista was Terminator. My answer is favorite Schwarzenegger movie. Conan the Barbarian. Oh, of course.
Favorite Schwarzenegger quote. Kindergarten cop. Who is your daddy and what does he do? [laughter] The day we're going to play the game is called Who's Your Daddy and what does he do?
I forgot. Conan. Yeah, Conan to me was like the quintessential Schwarzenegger movie. He was in perfect physical shape. He's swinging a sword. I love Conan just as a character and I thought he embodied it perfectly.
God damn, I forgot about James Earl Jones. Yeah. Uh that whole speech he gives about like you think steel is the strongest thing. Let me show you how flesh is stronger than steel. And he gets that woman to jump to her death. Come to me. Come to me.
That is power. Yeah, I forgot about Conan. Yeah. Okay. All right. Moving on. Our number four topic. Scotus gives Trump a win. On Friday, the Supreme Court issued a 6-3 decision along party lines lifting a lower court ruling that have blocked the Department of Homeland Security's revamped citizenship database. Now states can batch check entire voter roles for citizenship instead of searching one person at a time. A federal judge blocked that overhaul in June, finding it likely violated federal privacy laws. The Supreme Court disagreed. Justice Katanji Brown Jackson, joined by justices uh Kagan and Soda Mayor dissented. She warned that the majority ignored the
risk to lawful voters, including recently naturalized citizens who could be wrongly flagged. Voting rights groups said the ruling puts millions of Americans at risk. And experts note that the database has returned faulty results while audits consistently find non-citizen voting is exceedingly rare. [snorts] Mom, we kind of talked about this a little earlier, but do you still think non-citizens are voting?
Yes, in some places I do. And what this is going to do is now they can look on the um voter registry to see if they're citizens or not. Right. Isn't that what this is all about?
Yes. But that system routinely returns errors. So it's not a ironclad system. It [ __ ] up and then it kicks people off the voter roles or it says they're not citizens when they are.
But then they would just have to prove they are with what? Birth certificate, driver's license. I see nothing wrong with that. Saying that's not how this is me. Here's my identification. Let me vote.
That is not how this works. If they implement the software and you roll up to vote and you're on the [ __ ] list and that they're like, "Sorry, the computer says you're not a citizen." Well, I am. Here's my birth certificate. Here's my driver's license. Too bad. [ __ ] you.
I don't think they would say that. They would say, "Let me see your documentation. Let me see your ID." Okay. You have to register to vote. Okay. You have to register like in your county to vote.
Yes. So if they kick you off that [ __ ] registry and you go to vote, even if you have your ID, they will not let you vote.
If you have the correct documentation, I think they will. That's we have to register to vote and you go to this website and you look and see if you're registered. And some people are being kicked off.
What's wrong with that? I don't Yeah, I mean, you got to show who you are. Right here's my my midterm right here. I got two of these. One for me, one for dad. I did it the right way.
Do not show that. No, I did it the right way. Here, I'll show you the back of it. I've got two of them ready to go. I called to the county, asked for our u
asked for our vote, our registration to vote, and it came. Right. So, you're not going to be affected by this, or at least that's what you perceive. And like everything where you're not personally affected, you have no ability to see how it might affect somebody else, right? You don't care if people get kicked off the voter roles as long as you're not kicked off, right?
Yes. I care that our elections are fair with everybody that that wants to vote and needs to vote. Right. So, how is it fair to kick people off the voter roles who are US citizens?
They have Bob, shh, he just said they let dead people vote last year. We've discussed that. Um, it just needs to be the person that is standing there voting. Yeah.
Has to be the person that identifies themsself with that name. Yeah. And a US citizen. Right. And that's how it is. That's how voting works currently. They are trying to implement this to get people kicked off the voter roles because Republicans know the lower the number of voters the better it is for them.
For who? Republicans. That's how the stats always. Why not for Democrats? Why not? Why not? Because historically more Democrats show up at the polls.
Huh? I kind of I don't believe that. I need to see those stats. But you can literally Google it. Okay. I don't. No, I can't. My iPad's in the other room. I left all my good information in the other room.
All right. Let's move on to topic number five. Trump stops a criminal investigation. This week, a pro public investigation revealed that in 2019, the head of one of Republican Senator Susan Collins super PACs sent $150,000 to her through a shell company. even though government contractors are barred from making political donations. He later told the FBI it was part of a payto-play deal for federal defense contracts. By late 2024, the FBI was reportedly close to launching a major bribery probe, but it never happened. After Trump returned to office, the Justice Department's public integrity unit was gutted, firing almost everybody in it, uh, with most of
the attorneys that were running that case pushed out or also fired. Mom, why do you think Trump fired all the FBI agents and lawyers who were investigating Susan Collins taking a bribe?
That I do not know. But when I read about this story, she denied all allegations. She said they're all false. Oh, there um and it was politically motivated.
Oh. So then Yeah. Then we have nothing to worry about. The criminal denied doing the crime. We have to believe the criminal, right? I'm not believing whoever. I mean that when I Googled it, that's what I found.
Okay. So, and once again, you're avoiding the the question. The question has nothing to do with whether Susan Collins is admitting to these crimes or denying them.
Okay. The question is, why do you think Trump fired all of the FBI agents and lawyers who were investigating her? They must have not been good people.
They were all croo. Okay. You don't think possibly it could have anything to do with the fact that Trump himself is corrupt and he doesn't want FBI agents and lawyers who are investigating corruption at the federal level because eventually he knows that will come to him.
No. No, I don't. No, I don't. You know how you and dad are always talking about Nancy Pelosi and all of her stock trades and how that's very corrupt?
Yes. How many trades do you think Trump has made in the 17 months since he's been inaugurated? Several, you've told me and I forgot the amount.
Just take this. How much? Maybe a thousand. It's a little higher. 28,700 trades. Whoa. Yeah, that is more than all senators and Congress people combined.
Is that against the law that he personally did that? Okay, so now you move the goal post. Well, I I this is one of your argumentative kind of styles.
I submit to you a piece of information that very clearly illustrates Donald Trump is corrupt or at the very least does not have our country in his best interest. He's he's interested in himself enriching himself.
Once you are presented with the information you accept it as real, you then notch down, oh well, but that's not illegal though. Yes, it's terrible. He's a horrible piece of [ __ ] but it's not illegal, right? Well, is Nancy Pelosi in jail for it? No.
No. But right. Okay. So, I'm saying what Trump is doing is so much worse than Nancy Pelosi by volume that whatever you believe of Nancy Pelosi. You guys want her in jail, right?
You have a disdain for Nancy Pelosi. You [ __ ] hate Nancy Pelosi. Well, it was the husband involved and then the guy with the hammer and all that. Anyway, um it's
the guy with the hammer. How how was that Nancy Pelos's fault? There was some weirdo. I just remember some of that story. Okay. Anyway, forget I even said that. You'll jump on me for that one.
Um it's if that's Yeah, insider trading. That is not right. And those people should go to jail. Okay. Including Donald Trump. I don't see how he's doing insider trading.
We have talked about this at length and you agreed that yes, he's doing insider trading. You've already agreed to that. No, what he's doing is saying like if if tomorrow the war is going to escalate or whatever, then people would buy certain things just by what he said. That's the market. That's the way the market works.
You can't manipulate the market. You're walking back on [ __ ] that you have said in a previous episode where we specifically asked you if you thought he was partaking in fraudulent behavior and you said yes. Now you're [ __ ] walking it back. Why
you're not walking? I don't feel like I'm walking it back. Well, I don't remember when the episode was, but we were talking about his insider trading. So, when Donald Trump buys a bunch of oil, knowing that the next day he's going to launch an attack on Iran. That's insider trading. that is making a trade based on inside information you have or in this case even inside information that you yourself are generating or like when he says now's a good time to buy Palunteer and he [ __ ] tweets out their stock handle that's manipulating the market knowing by the way that he's going to
give them a big government contract stock go up that's insider trading and he's not just doing this once or twice he's made 28,000 [ __ ] trades since becoming president again.
He's not privy to anything. Yeah. I I don't think that's interer trading. I think that's he just voices an opinion and then people can do what they want to with.
You're not listening to me. It has nothing to do with an opinion. He knows the inside information he has like in Palunteer's case is that Palunteer is about to be granted a giant government contract that he approves. He knows he's going to do that. That's the inside information. The market doesn't know that yet. The world doesn't know that yet. So, he buys a fuckload of Palunteer stock. He approves their deal. Their stock goes up. That's insider. It's the definition of [ __ ] insider trading.
I guess we hush. Chad, what did he say? Go on. Go on. We got old yeller in the background. Yeah. Zero. He's become a billionaire since taking office.
Every president has become rich since they take office. Nope. No other president has become a billionaire. No other president. None. Zero. Okay. But millionaire.
Do you know what the difference between a billion and a million is? Yes, we've talked about this. What is it? 100 or 100,000? No. 100 worth 80 million.
Bob, please. Oh my gosh. He's talking about 80 million. Trump is like at 4 point something billion. Yes, I know. Okay. He said that's a fact, Jack. Oh my gosh. Let's move on, please.
Okay. I can't take it today. Really? No, I know. If your internet was uh better, we wouldn't have to have dad in the background yelling. [laughter] Our final topic is
rotten bananas hanging up there too. Go ahead. It's the perfect food. The last one. Here we go. There's more. Yeah, this is a good topic. Go ahead.
Please, Dad, if you can hear us, you have to be quiet. The deal was you got to be out of that hospital bed that you're laying and yelling at us from this hospital bed if you want to be on the show. That's the deal.
You're in my time now. He said we're in his time now. God, [gasps] I love that he's just a disembodied [ __ ] voice, too. [laughter] Just so it's like a weird AI like dad over there and show you what he looks like.
Nope. Do not do that. Okay, do the last topic. Last topic. This one hits close to home. Trump attacks our hometown. This week, ICE launched an attack on our hometown, Great Bend, Kansas. A small city home to 14,700 people right in the middle of the state.
The operation He's got to shut up. Bob, please be quiet. We're almost done. The operation started early in the week in southwest Kansas in meat packing hubs like Garden City, Liberal, and Dodge City. From there, it spread to smaller towns like Great Bend, and Scott City. Agents have targeted meat plants, feed yards, and Hispanic-owned businesses in a region that holds about 22% of the nation's grain-fed beef supply. The effects were immediate. Several Mexican restaurants in Great Ben temporarily closed their doors. Organizers estimate more than 50 people were detained across western Kansas based on the capacity of a detainee flight out of Garden City.
ICE has not released official numbers, though. Advocates say even legal residents and US citizens are afraid to leave their homes in Great Bend on Thursday evening. What's he talking about?
He can't wait to get back on the show. Keep going. On Thursday evening, residents rallied in downtown Great Ben in support of the Hispanic community, marching through the rain with signs and flags as [snorts] passing cars honked. Mom, you were born in Great Ben.
Dad was born near Great Ben. Haley was born in Great Ben. I was not. But we all lived there for at least I lived there till I was like in first or second grade. You guys lived there most, not most of your lives probably at this point, but the first part of your lives. Haley, you live there as a little baby. This is uh and it's a super small town, 14,000 people.
Trump has raided it. Trump attacked our hometown. How do you feel about that? Okay. I am speaking from my heart. I'm also speaking from people that I have spoke with in our hometown. I have spoke with relatives in the surrounding little cities. Also, this is what I truly believe. One of our relatives stated five people were taking taken from um it was a packing plant close by her house and they were criminals. Pedophile was one. Um um something about murder and and aggravated rape. Another one, rape with a child. There was like five different people that were criminals with warrants against them that were taken.
I do not believe they are just raiding like Mexican restaurants and taking the owners of a restaurant. I do believe they were after the criminals. Uh, my relative said 50 people were put on the airplane and flown out and they were the ones that had the warrants and the arrests. Do I like that that has hit our little hometown?
Yes. No. But if it's the criminals they're taking, then take them out of there. Why would we want a rapist or a murderer or somebody that's done something to kids or women working there in one of those factories or meat packing places? Why would we want them there if they have a criminal record?
Well, why do you want one president? Number one, could we blame maybe the employers? Could they do a better background check on people before they're hired? First of all, site your sources because just my relative
They're on my iPad. They're on my iPad in the other room. And you have like their mug shots and their records. I sure that f do. You want me to go get them?
You have all 50 of the people that they I have five. I have five. And I did research two of them with the names and it was a yes.
Okay. So So okay, let's just take some of the things you're saying here and discuss. So, you're saying five out of 50, onetenth have what you believe is
That's all the time I had to research names. That's all the time I had. Okay. You're saying five out of 50 have what you believe to be provable criminal records.
Right. The five that I had time to research. Okay. Why would you and Haley not want criminals like that out of our country?
We're not Jesus Christ. No. Dad, you're off the show until you're on the show. Um, so what we are talking about here is the what has now been a proven fact is that 70s something% of all people detained by ICE have no criminal record. That's proven. We've discussed it on this show many times. There have been all kinds of investigations into it. All kinds of journalism done about it. So even if you just take that average number that is applied nationwide and you put it in Great Bend, it even gives you a little bit more than five, it's going to give you 75%
or uh 25% sorry. So it's going to give you around, you know, in the 10 to 14 area are all criminals. Meaning there's another whatever, you know, 35 to 40 people that are not.
You know how you told me that I always need to research where I get my information from? Yeah. So those five pictures with those mug shots, I did do that.
Okay. And they did start turning up. Yes. Yes. One was from Kansas. One was from Great Bend. I'm not disputing that. I'm telling you there are probably some criminals in this group of 50.
That's the problem. Yeah. I'm sorry. There are also if statistics prove to be accurate in this case, and these statistics come from however many thousands of people they've detained at this point,
75% of them are not criminal in any way. That's probably true here, too. And so that means there are 35 to 40 people on that plane who are not criminals, who were just working in restaurants. Why were these restaurants closing if they didn't feel threatened?
But if if they were not citizens, that's a lie. No, you know, I'm against ICE. How it's going down. You know I am. I've said that. I don't like this.
But now you're making excuses for Trump. That's a lie. Dad, shut up. You're not on the show. You shut up. [laughter] God, I don't He's not been on the show for so long. I
It's He's got it all bottled up. He's exploding. He's just being in proximity to the computer's making him go crazy. He's like, "I CAN'T HEAR ME. I BETTER GET IT OUT."
All right. He said, "Stick a fork in it." It's stuff to do. Oh, WHAT DOES HE HAVE TO DO? I got to exercise. He has to exercise.
Okay. [laughter] He does. He does. Say names. Oh god. What did he say? He said a name. I there. This episode's going to be a [ __ ] nightmare to edit.
I know. So 5930. Chad, I love you. Haley, I love you. Oh, you're just ending the show. Yes, we're ending now. I have to. I'm
What a [ __ ] disaster. All right. Well, that's the end of the show. I will be I love you. Chad, I love you.
I love you, Mom. I love you, Haley. Dad, I love you despite the fact that you [ __ ] totally wrecked this episode. I will be on later tonight.
What' he say? He has more important things he has to do right now. He has to exercise. Okay. I'm going to be here later tonight on our YouTube channel doing a live all by myself because no one will ever join me. I will be discussing uh today's episode which has been a [ __ ] insane one. Hopefully I can edit this [laughter]
a cluster. Love you Chad. Love you dad. Jesus [ __ ] Christ. I knew it. You just said goodbye. The minute you were like I'm going to go to the kitchen. I [ __ ] knew it. Like he cannot. He can't just be quiet. He just [ __ ] can't.
I know. He's got impulse issue controls clearly. still talking. They're still talking. He said that's what we do on the podcast. Yeah, that's what we've got to get. We We didn't even finish a full episode because of all the internet [ __ ] that I'm going to have to cut out the trunk or Spectrum they're called now.
Oh god. All right. Thanks everybody for joining us. Like I said, I'll be here tonight [music] um 6 p.m. PDT doing a live to discuss this train wreck and anything else you want to talk about. Join me for that. And I'll see you then. Bye
bye.
