America is deeply divided there are only two sides to every issue and there is no interest in finding common ground not even with members of your own family but as the 2024 presidential election Looms on the horizon there has never been a more important time to have the necessary conversation welcome to the necessary conversation we've taken a few uh episodes off primarily because I had food poisoning last week but now I'm about 95% so we're back on the air however my sister is gone where is she mom um I could say I don't really know but it's Vermont New York uh they went to look at the changing color in the leaves all right nice work if you can get it so today it's going to be just me and my mom and my dad talking about the four biggest political issues actually I've got five just in case we ran out of time today we're going to be be talking about the war in Israel Trump being anti- Netanyahu what the GOP house completely falling apart uh Biden's border wall and the big oopsy that Biden's White House did in revealing the identities of a bunch of uh special ops guys who are fighting over in Israel right now so let's jump into it uh dad you predicted 268 days ago that a nuclear weapon would be used in your in Ukraine within 30 to 40 days do you believe that prediction is blown no all right let's move on and start as we start every episode with a question from a listener are you ready yes here we go Hi cultan family this is Zach from Ohio this question is from Mary Lou a while back you said to stop school shootings all schools should have one way in and out of the school with a highly trained armed guard stationed at the door at all times I'm assuming there will also be a bag check and metal detector at this entryway to screen for weapons otherwise what's the point let's take my old high school for example where there are 1,600 students and let's say it takes each student an average of 5 Seconds to get through security if everything goes perfectly it would take approximately 2 hours and 13 minutes to get the students inside the school every day and upon release from school 1,600 students trying to file out of a single door may pose some safety issues my question is what systems and structures should be put in place to mitigate the time demands as well as the hazards associated with your single door solution thanks wow very good question um I did take few hours to walk through metal I taught at a high school way back when and it was during the time when the drugs were really coming into schools with and we did have a oneway in one way out with a drug dog I did and drug dogs but we didn't the policeman I guess he was armed but not like you this is out of high school you taught it had one door let me think the front door was one one way in one way out yeah I think it had one way in one way out okay and anding and and then I taught another Junior High that was that way the junior high was more strict than that high school but I didn't realize it took that much time didn't um I think um but maybe he has it calculated correct guess two hours is worth someone's life maybe um I do hours is also um that was a good question but I just feel the one way in one way out is the only measure that can be done um with all the other entries locked I also taught at an elementary school this is was in Texas before I retired one way in one way out and that happened a lot after 911 um as as the children came in in the morning they locked the front door all the other doors were locked upon entering no one came in that school that did not ring a bell have someone let him in uh parents were not allowed in after that was a lockdown parents could not come in unless they called ahead someone met him at the front door and let him in and how many students did that school have that school had 9900 I see my last year teaching 96 M uhhuh and did it take a long time to get them all in no no no but there wasn't a detector you know there wasn't like a strip search there wasn't anything Jesus on you know what I mean on on the elementary kids coming in okay um yeah well there you have it well it always did alarm me too because I was a gym teacher and the gym door was toward the back of the school with glass M if somebody wanted to break it come right in they're in my gym yeah yeah chain yeah what he dad's saying there was a chain on it I don't think it was chained after everybody was in it was just locked okay well there you have your answer thank you for sending the question if anybody out there wants good question and it's real sad I don't know I thought that would be a good answer I thought that might help but yeah I don't know all right well speaking of guns let's move on to our first big topic the war in Israel Israel appears to be gearing up for the next stages of its war with Hamas including widespread strikes and significant ground operations it launched a retaliatory a retaliatory offense after hamas's October 7th Terror attacks that killed 1300 people the Israeli military has warned about 1.1 million people living in Northern Gaza to evacuate South for their safety many of those evacuees have been met with death and destruction amidst Israeli air strikes including one that destroyed a mosque on the West Bank where it is believed Hamas was staging another offensive a hospital also exploded this week but intelligence doesn't know the cause Israel claims they did not Target the structure and it is now believed that perhaps Hamas destroyed one of their own hospitals to make it look like it was an Israeli attack more than half gaza's 2 million residents live in the Northern section that Israel has told to evacuate many families some of whom were already internally displaced are now crammed into an even smaller portion of the 140 square mile territory gaza's humanitarian crisis is deepening with warnings people people are at risk of starvation as Israel imposes a Complete Siege in their own words they called it that the Palestinian Health Ministry has identified more than 4,000 people who have been killed in the Hamas run territory since the War Began and there are approximately this number is not uh completely verified but there are approximately 210 hostages uh still unaccounted for including uh some American citizens two of whom I I guess have been released in the Past released a day or so so this is where we are with this war it looks like Israel is just going to uh stomp in we're recording this on Sunday who knows what's gonna happen by Monday when we put this podcast out um but it is looking like we hope to God they kill them all dad said we hope to God they kill them all who is they and who is them in dad who is they and who is them we are hoping 100% that Israel totally kills every Palestinian alive Israel totally you're talking about citizens even the children all of them he you want to see children die well the children have already been indoctrinated into being Hamas later so wipe them out wait a minute here let me get out he's eating a salad by the way and I can't St by him with a crunching here okay I have that I don't think it's called acrophobia it might be it's I cannot stand him crunching in my ear okay what okay so you're in favor of killing all the children in pal genocide for Palestinians genocide all way through Gaza why because then we know they're gone right but you think no more there's no more problem now you turn your ass on the Lebanon and the hisbah and you nuke those [ __ ] okay so you're in favor of a complete escalation of this war until it kills everyone no until it kills the Palestinian until it kills all the Palestinians have you seen the videos of um like the Palestinian kids that have limbs blown off and they're I I just watched what' he say he said don't give a [ __ ] why though how do you have no I mean you and Mom are always talking about like what we well what I I'm looking at the future he's looking at the future he said what I cared about in the very beginning when Hamas took every body at the music festival what they wanted to do with those women gang raped uh slit throat right then then they went into the village took the old people out killed them out of wheelchairs killed all of them what I have a hard time with and and beheaded the babies and burned them in their cribs all of that we know all of that happened Chad do you realize that are you saying yes for that okay that part of course oh my God so we've got to get get them gone the bad people and I think what dad's trying to say is the only way to do that is now that they're all blocked in what are you gonna do line them up and say are you good are you bad are you happy are you sad you can't do that just yes you can just Vietnam in Vietnam they couldn't tell the difference between those either the good and the bad but is that okay fine they can't tell the difference between the good and bad is that that on the people just like tough luck [ __ ] you or should that be up to the people who are saying we're to kill everybody to determine who's good and bad yeah if you don't want to get annihilated I'll get over here so I didn't have to yell please don't yell okay if you don't want to get annihilated and you live in the Palestinian World better get your [ __ ] ass out of but they weren't letting them out they weren't letting them out who who's not letting them out Egypt and Jordan yes they're they're allies that's who's not letting them out tell [ __ ] [ __ ] I would kill them until they're either all gone by being dead or move somewhere else okay so now with that logic do you believe everybody who is Hamas is like well [ __ ] it we'll just all stay here you don't think any Hamas soldiers are gonna Escape you don't think it's not possible what you're talking about you're being if you kill everybody yeah it doesn't matter whether they're [ __ ] Hamas or not M They're All Dead you dumb [ __ ] right I'm saying you can't kill everybody in a region someone will get out and the people with this strategy that you're talking about yeah Benjamin Netanyahu is going to do that very thing dad thinks he's just gonna start dropping the bombs no matter what and kill them all they're all gonna die do you think a nuclear weapon will be used in uh in Gaza no you don't need it how's he gonna do it bombs pound them like hamburger he's gonna go in with ground troops so Dad thanks I think it is war is it's terrible it's bad the children had nothing to do with this war and they went in and massacred them it's just I stand with with Israel and now here's what I don't understand you saw the capital the 300 people and they're demonstrating mhm at first I thought wait a minute those people are for Israel then I kept reading no that was for I don't think was that Jews against Israel was that Palestines it's an incredibly complex issue and I know there are multiple sides of this and everybody wants you to be on one side or another but the bottom line is you have a terrorist organization who has done this horrible thing and now the people uh in that region are being kind of blamed for like Dad is saying kill them all regardless of their affiliation with AAS Ora not which I think personally is the wrong wrong way to go about it but but how could you line them I mean how could you line them up and say are you good are you bad let me see a passport let me see it that's not going to work it's terrible I don't know you have to have better intelligence I believe the burden of proof is on the people who are saying we are going to kill you they should have good enough intelligence to know if they're killing the right people or not and in this case obviously they're not are you just being [ __ ] naive as [ __ ] intelligence departments are [ __ ] dog crap I could hunt down somebody better than the FBI could okay is he just stomping around in the background what is he gonna sit down or no he's finishing the salad and he will probably sit down then I will go beside him so we both can be on here let me let me ask you this question how long do you guys think this war will last uh oh those lights are terrible here two to three months hold it I'll go okay two to three months do you believe that with this and the war in Ukraine China is now looking at Taiwan and saying this might be the time they already have they China realizes and they realize this long before our super duper intelligence people that they have to hit Taiwan before Joe Biden either dies or Is Not Elected anymore okay they have to they don't have any choice do you think that the US Iran Russia China any of the European countries are going to step into this war in Israel or in Gaza officially no okay so just be proxy all right let's move on to our next topic Trump is anti- Netanyahu weighing in on the war on Gaza Donald Trump out he's had moments of that but let me let me straighten you out on something about Netanyahu and Trump let me just finish reading this and then you can well I already I already well hang on a minute let me just finish reading this and then you can I already know let me just finish reading this let me just finish reading this and then you can bring up your points I just want to lay out the facts and then we can discuss let me just lay out let me just read this and then we and that is who Netanyahu Liv with when let me just read this and then we can do it weighing in on the war in Gaza Donald Trump lashed out last Wednesday at Benjamin Yahoo saying the isra prime minister was caught unprepared by hamas's attack and praising the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah as very smart their remarks reflect the sour relationship between the two men and are notable at a time when Trump's Republican Presidential Rivals have uniformly sought to position themselves as steadfast supporters of Netanyahu during Israel's war with Hamas Trump told Fox news's Brian kilme in an interview clip that aired last Wednesday night Netanyahu Netanyahu has been hurt very badly because of what's happened here he was not prepared he was not prepared Israel was not prepared then he pressed the issue even further at a campaign event Wednesday in West Palm Beach Florida saying when I see sometimes the intelligence you talk about the intelligence so you talk about some of the things that went wrong over the last week they've gotten to straighten it out because they're fighting potentially a very big Force the criticism is a stark reversal from firm friendship Trump shared with office embracing the Israeli leader at every turn but it's driven by animosity Trump has held for Netanyahu ever since the Prime Minister publicly acknowledge that Joe Biden won the 2020 election in the months that followed Trump accused Netanyahu of disloyalty and said in an axios interview [ __ ] him said that verbatim I believe when was that day when did if you told me if you told me you believe the 2020 was not stolen I'd say [ __ ] you back too but here's what you hav't what you haven't mentioned at all Jared Kushner who is Donald Trump's son-in-law his family housed Benjamin Netanyahu for four years while he went to Harvard okay are you aware of that no I know I didn't think you were you dumbass he also says [ __ ] him so now that Trump is publicly criticizing that Yahoo yeah you still on netanyahu's side yes so you're going against and so will Trump well here I will me too you dumbass quit calling him a dumbass dumb no he's not Jesus do you think Trump's anti-israel attitude is gonna hurt him in the polls no no he does have an anti-israel attitude as a Friday okay he said [ __ ] Netanyahu that that seems pretty anti-israel to me no okay no wa you you haven't been on X your mother has as as of Friday former president Donald Trump said that he stood with Israel and its prime minister uh I can't even say the guy's name [Music] bonah as his goyah he calls him b as his GOP rival his Rivals continued to pointedly denounce what Trump was saying so Trump backtracked and said I stand with BB this was untr social network Friday afternoon I stand with Israel which he always has so he kind of backtracked and said yes I do she's having problem is that kitty coughing or something yeah get okay so Trump has backtracks does that at all have any uh effect on your attitude about Trump that he can just change his mind and say the opposite thing no okay he can do whatever he wants because he's going to be the next president of the United States if Trump were to go full-blown Pro Haman would you as well hell no okay you would then not Trump i' still vote for him but I'm not going to dictate what he it doesn't matter what Donald Trump backs in this war Hamas and the Palestinians are going to be exterminated that's a fact that's going to happen but you understand like this idea that you have that every person can be killed that is not possible want to bet yes what this will end up doing is you're going to have a whole generation of kids who have gone through these horrific traumas they're going to grow into adults remember this and that's going to be the next Isis the next is that right is that right yes the cycle perpetuates what they're already being that's what they're already being trained for by Hamas that's who runs that country so for for one thing that change annihilation of their parents and all that [ __ ] is going to change none of the young palestin Minds now look at that [ __ ] that's in our Congress you know I'm talking about to she's such a windbag [ __ ] [ __ ] Palestinian she's innocent she doesn't even live over there I would kill her because she's Palestinian so now you're saying kill all Palestinian Americans as well well she's not an American okay what she's a pal inian terrorist who got elected to congress by a district that's all Palestinians and half of them are illegal so do you believe every person in America who is not uh by your qualifications a real American should be killed well they should be not in charge of anything of power they can't be elected no Palestinian Americans should be in any any form of our government that's absolutely correct okay what what other countries or nationalities or ethnicities would you put in that uh let's see Chinese no start coughing again okay so Mom you've been following this to some degree do you think the relationship is real you know at first I did but now I mean it might be in the beginning but he's gone through women left and right so I think they're doing it to up the sale of the Kansas City Chief's tickets you know when she's in the in the Box up there whooping and hollering with his mama but yet they were seen out in New York I follow some of it um maybe it is I don't know who knows who cares their life but for sure she she is a market ability person and can make ticket sales go up sold out games and then he probably maybe does the same at some of her concerts who knows no I mean I don't think she needs any help with her concerts he the one who's benefiting from this 100% but yes there's a lot of conjecture about whether or not they are actually dating or is this kind of put together by her PR people the NFL has claimed that they have no nothing to do with this but they are like you said reaping the benefits from much higher female viewership gen Z viewership things that they traditionally have had zero percent of and there were like swifties going to the football games that never happened before just to see her up in the Box exactly yeah kind of crazy well we simmered down a little bit there um let's jump back in I've we're gonna do three more topics today because I Fall House Republicans are once again scrambling with no clear path to elect a new speaker after voting to push Ohio rep Jim Jordan out of the race the latest sign of the chaos IND divisions that have engulfed the majority party and left the chamber in a state of paralysis 10 other Republicans have now stepped forward to jump into the race but it seems unlikely that any of them can get the 217 votes needed to win the gab while Republicans control such a narrow majority maity Republicans are expected to hold a candidate Forum uh Monday evening so that'll be tonight as this episode is airing the house remains effectively Frozen as long as there's no elected speaker the paralysis has created a perilous situation as Congress faces the threat of a government shutdown next month and Biden's proposed hundred billion dollar Aid package for Israel and Ukraine can't move forward without a functioning house Jordan had Trump's full support for the position and many see his inability to win the seat as a highlight of the waning influence of trump at the highest levels of American Political Machine okay keep going who will be the next Speaker of the House wow wow who did you say Oklahoma oh he thinks the Oklahoma senator um where is he what is he doing he had to go to the restroom now I tell you so now he's just screaming from the toilet this is like living with a three-year-old okay um you have no idea you have no idea he will be back out in a second he said the the Oklahoma dude what's his name Hearn Hearn hu r n um they won't put and they won't put him in until after the shutdown dad said he thinks that the government will shut down because that they want this to happen the GOP wants that to happen so that Biden then is tanked for sure but um you don't think that that okay so yes it'll take Biden it would take any president if you don't have a functioning house you can't pass laws so right you don't think that's going to hurt the Republican party though that they're not going to be perceived as uh kind of babies who are like [ __ ] you we're we'll hold the whole thing up like they're they're at this point they have not been able to put in a new speaker of the house they elected to oust their former what are you eating a pop pickle let me let me correct you on something oh my God not it's this whole thing is being Oran by the GOP for a specific reason okay for a specific reason they're going to turn Joe Biden into a bumbling pile of [ __ ] then they're going to flip it and they're going to get what they [ __ ] want which is what they're gonna get they're gonna they're gonna shut down all the [ __ ] free spending that's going to things that don't belong there like for one more money to Ukraine because Joe Biden owes it to them what about Donald Trump wait a minute you're saying the Republicans want more money for Ukraine or no no they don't they don't but the package that Biden's put out there if Israel gets 100 million the [ __ ] Ukraine gets like 1.4 billion and Ukraine is gonna get [ __ ] zero and they're gonna lose that war to the Russians and so you're pro- Russia right now is right now versus the Ukraine you bet you're [ __ ] ass I hope they take it over interesting why is that I mean that's a very anti-American position because the Ukraine will never be our Ally they're using our money and 90% of the money they're using is not going to the war it's going in zalinski and his buddy's pockets okay and so do you think Russia will ever be a United States Ally uh it's more possible than the Ukraine okay I I mean I simply don't agree with that I don't think Vladimir whether you do or an ally of the West you ask me you ask me what I think yeah and now I'm giving you my counter that's called a conversation dude but but also one when you when you ask me my opinion I don't give a [ __ ] what yours is well that's not a conversation dude that's just you're yelling at people for no reason all right um let me ask you this about the GOP house are these Antics turning off off the kind of less enthusiastic Republican voters because in the in an electorate you have people who are going to turn out every time and vote Party Line every time then you have people who can be kind of turned on by a certain candidate maybe they wouldn't vote necessarily but oh I really like this one candidate so I'm going to turn out to vote for that then you have a big swath of people who are like ah it's my duty and I should go out and do my my civic duty but all of this crazy [ __ ] that's happening is like you know what [ __ ] it I'm not even going to participate in this next one do you think Republican voters that there is a percentage of them who now feel that way because so much of this is just it's a complete clown show I don't think they will not participate but I'm getting tired of it I'm getting tired of it I want someone in our world right now is so effing crazy we need leadership we have none Biden is sleeping uh I don't even know where horse face is these days they don't even bring her up we have no leadership we don't have a speaker of the house we have nothing it's really very very scary it's very scary I agree and when Dad is talking about that this is the potentially the GOP strategy is to have a full government shutdown so no laws can be passed no bills can be passed at this critical time with multiple conflicts going on all over the world a huge one obviously in Israel and just government shutdown doesn't just mean that those bills don't get passed it means like people don't get paid United States military doesn't get paid that kind of stuff so uh do you think that it's a viable political strategy to hold the house or any branch of the government completely hostage like this I think it's terrible what the Democrats been doing for years yeah Dad said Democrats been doing that for 80 years no the Democrats have never had a moment where they didn't have a speaker of the house and couldn't get one elected and send a guy up who can't get the votes and then another guy comes up who can't get the votes they've never ousted their own speaker this is unpreceded Ed no party has ever done this in the history of this country except the current Republicans the smart guys yeah I don't know I we need a savior Donald Trump we need somebody we need somebody I don't give a crap at this point who it is we need very far from another Kent State just get ready yeah Dad said what he thinks I pray not I call Roman all the time have you seen any protests at college no MIM me I said if you do you get in your car and run do not go with all those protests dad thinks that something's got to happen and it might be another another boom boom and then why why does Dad why do you think it's this uh kind of at home terrorism is going to happen on a college campus because the only way you're G to stop these an Israel protest is to send the National Guard in there and tell them to get the [ __ ] out and when they get their back up start blowing their mouth those National Guardsmen are going to turn loose that's exactly what happened to Kent State three of them got killed and those protests quit I think there was more than three maybe no 14 got shot died but like right now at Harvard with the protest going on they're losing donors yeah they're losing donors left and right of money going to the school CEOs are saying they will hire nobody on those lists yeah they blackb they've started putting those students on lists now they're getting repercussion [ __ ] once you graduate don't come to these big corporations for jobs you're not going to get one and you're in favor of that absolutely that's now what happened to your your staunch belief in freedom of speech you're always talking about how you have freedom of speech and you should be able to say anything but these students can't no they can there consequences okay everybody has freedom of speech I have if I say the wrong word then someone says I get black ball from no then I have to bleep you out which I've done once or I get blackball I get blackball from social media which I don't even [ __ ] use that's what's funny okay all right so let me ask you one more question about this Trump heavily backed Jim Jordan who could not get votes in three elections he went to try to get that vote three SE times this is being orchestrated you're being dumb failed every time if Trump can't even get a speaker of the house elected when the GOP has a majority in the house how the [ __ ] is he gonna win a presidential election oh he's gonna win I just think right now people are so uh like batshit crazy sh they some don't give a [ __ ] some really really do some are extreme one side the other side it is a scary scary time not only in our government but in the whole world AB I'm getting scared I'm getting scared maybe I'm getting old I'm getting scar you operate under a a shroud of fear kind of constantly um I'm just the question though is does this make you think that Trump may not be able to win if he can't even get a speaker of the house elected no he's gonna win by a landslide he is going to be our next president of the United States you take that to the [ __ ] Banks take that to the [ __ ] Banks has he's doing shoes now all right he's like he's working so am I uh speaking of taking things to the bank let's jump to our next topic Biden's border wall Biden is finishing the job Trump couldn't in building the wall at America's Southern border oh my God a week and a half ago Biden defended his administration's decision to wave 26 federal laws in South Texas to allow for construction of roughly 20 miles of additional border well saying he had no choice choice but to use the Trump era funding for the barrier to stop illegal migration from Mexico asked if he thought such wells work he said flatly no but the construction is moving ahead nonetheless the new construction was announced in June but the funds were appropriated back in 2019 before the Democratic president took office Biden said he tried to get lawmakers to redirect the money but Congress refused and the law requires the funding to be used as approved and the construction to be completed in 2023 still the waving of federal laws for the construction to take place something also done when Republican Donald Trump was President raised questions particularly because Biden condemned border wealth spending when he was running for the White House one of Biden's first decisions uh as president was to Halt the use of emergency funds to build the wall along the southern border and ended the National Emergency there the decision comes as the Biden Administration is struggling to manage increasing numbers of migrants at the border and spreading out into larger us Democratic leaders in New York Chicago and Washington are all asking for federal help to handle the growing numbers of migrants in their cities Administration officials last Thursday announced they'd resume deporting migrants back to Venezuela as part of their effort to slow arrivals so does this feel how you change about Biden he's building the wall that Trump could never build too little too late and Trump did build the wall and Biden took it down right Bob he stopped the the making of the wall immediately I think that was like what within the first within the first week he was in office he stopped it where is he what is he doing can he just sit next to you for we have another maybe 15 20 minutes here yeah that possible he'll be right back he's outside now f is he doing oh dear God he's on this shoe kick so he has cleaned all of his tennis shoes nice and sparkly and these need to go outside to dry he will be right of President Joe Biden meeting us special forces in Israel which showed their faces and could have revealed their identities the image of Biden shaking hands with them during his visit to Israel on uh Wednesday was published on the official White House Instagram page for hours and garnered thousands of likes and comments it appeared to violate Department of Defense Rules by revealing the men's faces which are usually blurred in any official release photographs it came during an event at which the president met with Israeli Medics who had responded to the attack by hos on October 7th which claimed the lives of hundreds of Jewish men women and children the White House eventually apologized for the mistake in showing the Special Forces operators faces and took the photo down Republicans slammed the blunder with GOP rep Diana harsh bar calling it gross incompetence yet in 2018 aids to president Donald Trump posted a video on social media showing the faces of an elite team of Navy SEALs that he deployed to Iraq Trump met with the troops posst posed for selfies and signed autographs afterwards AIDS posted the video on Twitter showing unblurred footage of trump shaking hands with members of this special forces team just as Biden did do you think what Biden's team did was any worse than what Trump's team did did Trump do it during a war when a war was about ready to unleash and
