the nation into a cesspool of immorality what does everyone think about this are you concerned at all about the war on Christmas why do you think we don't hear about the war on Christmas anymore are is the Maga Civil War Maga is turning on itself as this week saw a rift form in the Republican party uh over high-skilled immigration policies particularly concerning the H1B Visa program which allows us companies to employ foreign workers in specialized occupations Trump expressed support for the H1B Visa program saying I've always liked the Visas I have always been in favor of the Visas and that's so why we have them the true president Elon Musk also advocated for increasing high-skilled immigration to address Talent shortages in the tech industry but farri magga Republicans fought back Laura lummer criticized Trump's appointment of serum Krishnan an indian-american Tech entrepreneur as an AI adviser citing his previous support for expanding high-skilled immigration in reaction musk then temporarily suspended lum's verified status on his xplatform this internal debate underscores the challenges the Republican Party faces in reconciling the interests of its tech industry supporters who advocate for increased high-skilled immigration with those of its Hardline base who fear such policies May undermine American workers and contradict the America First agenda Trump ran on taking the argument even further musk said quote hateful unrepentant racists should be removed from the from the Republican Party root and stem mus made the the statement in response to a post on X by nandon Biden's director of us domestic policy Council who said I'm an indian-american who was born here and it's Crystal Clear that the Democratic party sees me as American and a large part of the base of the Republican party does not musk replied writing yes and those contempt fools must be removed from the Republican Party root and stem must clarified in a follow-up post that when he said contemptible fools he was referring to those in the Republican Party who are hateful unrepentant racists he added they will absolutely be the downfall of the Republican party you okay you all right that was a long one it's not done but whatever it can be let's move on Dad since you're so uh eager to not have me talking why don't you talk a little bit about where you stand on the H1B Visa I don't believe any visas [ __ ] them okay get asses out of here so you disagree with Trump sure interesting but you voted for him that's right do you think he's and if he and if he says it's okay I'll live with it okay and so do you think then that there may be other things that you're going to disagree with Trump on probably not okay so that'll be the only one the H1B Visa that probably it all right American companies to hire foreign workers if they're high-skilled almost specifically in the tech industry Elon Musk does this Google does thisbook foreigners running our it so it's literally taking away American jobs by hiring people from outside of America to perform them yeah that's not good no well Trump supports it well then you agree with me I don't think that's right I I literally just read what he said here's what Trump said about no Mom is saying she doesn't agree with that I don't agree with that yeah don't read it again okay but you do acknowledge that Trump wants to use H1B visas yeah that's fine but I don't think that's right okay interesting so do you think that Trump then is betraying the ideals he ran on America First no how is that reconciled in your mind this is clearly against the idea of America First only using Americans to fill American jobs I I don't know I don't think it's right to give it to foreign people but Trump does well that's okay I guess that's okay for now okay so you you also are disagreeing with Donald Trump on this point yes I think I am okay interesting now um if something else comes up in the near future or at any point in the next four years that you disagree with Trump on do you think baiting me you're baiting I'm not baiting you I'm asking you like this is the first time on this show that you and Dad have disagreed with something Donald Trump uh said or supports it's the first time what I'm getting down to is how many of these things will have to mount up where you disagree with him before you realize this is not the candidate you should have voted for he's always the candidate that we should have voted for even though you disagree with his policy he will make America great again well he's giving America either let me move on and ask you this in part of this Laura lomer who's a a hard right uh Republican basically came out and said that this is wrong you're taking jobs away from Americans and Elon Musk revoked her uh verified status on Twitter which made her unable to monetize for at least a short period of time Dad do you do you think you think that's good yeah you agree with Laura lomer though yeah and so musk punished her and you think that's good yeah I don't got be there's got to be repercussions for things but she's in the right doesn't matter she agrees with you I know doesn't matter I'll be good all right by our second topic is this is Trump's America now a Colorado man is facing possible bias motivated charges for allegedly attacking a television news reporter after demanding to know whether he was a US citizen saying this is Trump's America now according to court documents Patrick Thomas Egan 39 was arrested on December 18th in Grand Junction after police say he followed local Pacific Islander news reporter Geron Alex's vehicle for around 40 miles from the Delta area after arriving in Grand Junction what I say good for him after arriving in Grand Junction Egan who was driving a taxi pulled up next to Alex at a stoplight and according to an arrest affidavit said are you even a US citizen this is Trump's America now I'm a marine and I took an oath to protect this country from people like you get out and put your face in the dirt Alex who had been uh out reporting then drove back to his new station in the city after he got out of his vehicle Egan chased Alex as he ran toward the station's door and demanded to see his identification according to the document laying out police's evidence in the case Egan then tackled Alex put him in a head lock and began to strangle him the affidavit said co-workers who ran out to help co-workers who ran out to help and witnessed told that police that Alex appeared to be losing his ability to breathe during the attack which was partially captured on surveillance video Egan was arrested on suspicion of bias motivated crime second degree assault and harassment he is scheduled to appear in court uh next week I believe to learn whether prosecutors have filed formal charges against him dad the first question was going to be do you think this is acceptable behavior you clearly do oh hell yes and why is that well if we got X Marines dropping the old flag on some of these foreigners I think it's great he's not a foreigner he's a US citizen US citizen yeah but he's foreign what the [ __ ] no she gotta go potty so he's allow his incoming Administration time to negotiate a resolution addressing National Security concerns associated with the app Trump emphasized his unique position to broker such a deal citing his consumate deal making expertise and political will the B the ban stems from legislation signed by President Joe Biden in April of 2024 which mandates that Tik tok's parent company bite Dan divest its us operations or face prohibition the law reflects bipartisan apprehensions that the Chinese government could exploit Tik Tok to access us users data Tik Tok has contested the ban participation what Committee has released a report alleging that former representative Matt Gates engaged in serious misconduct during his tenure in Congress the report presents substantial evidence that Gates paid for sex with a 17-year-old girl in 201 17 which would constitute a violation of Florida's statutory rape laws Additionally the investigation uncovered instances where Gates solicited prostitutes used illegal drugs accepted improper gifts and attempted to obstruct the committee's inquiry in response to the ethics committee's report Gates has denied any wrongdoing insinuating that the report is a politically motivated attack intended to damage his reputation he stated quote there is a reason they did this to me in a Christmas Eve report and not in a courtroom of any kind where I could present evidence and challenge Witnesses the release of this report has also led to discussion about Gates's political future some allies of president-elect Donald Trump have encouraged gates to remain active in politic politics despite the allegations Steve Bannon a former Trump adviser remarked Gates must return like Trump returned don't back down Double Down Gates has hinted at a potential future political return including possible runs for governor of Florida and the US Senate or return to the House of Representatives Haley is Gates going to come back to the Republican Party no no after all no I don't think so what do you think he'll be a Democrat for what what are you talking about I don't think they're gonna let him back in anywhere coming back to politics I mean will he be will he run be a part of his cabinet and so then he bailed out of that and he quit the house thinking that that would render the investigation n and void and that the results would never come out but now the house has put out the results anyway um and so this information is now out there that he raped the 17-year-old girl uh paid her for sex did a drugs all this other stuff um but people are telling him within the Republican party you should run again come back to the fold basically like Steve Bannon is saying double down on all of this and in a an Administration where like Haley said you've got a rapist as the president will any of this actually matter that's kind of my question to you well I guess my real question to you Mom is this do you believe he raped this 17-year old girl I don't know I was not there and is it accused or what did he already go to trial for it no there was no trial the doj was going to looked at the evidence and decided to not press charges but this is a separate investigation that the house ran that says they do have quote uh what did it say the report presents substantial evidence that Gates paid for sex with a 17-year-old girl used illegal drugs accepted improper gifts and attempted to obstruct the investigation itself which is like r Russia Russia accused never happened okay so you don't think he raped I don't know I wasn't there all right Dad do you think he raped no why is that Dad was there because I don't believe anything they drw him up against anybody you believe no accusations against any human being no against uh rightwing mean tonight is that point we've done multiple episodes about that very thing to that point okay Mr Jack Smith his entire prosecution and that entire thing is gonna go away as never happened which means those 34 convictions never [ __ ] happened no the sentencing isn't going to happen but the convictions already did happen never gonna happen GI Joe GI Joe okay Co I think they did happen I'm and maybe he'll uh pardon himself and expon his record that's possible but he'll have to do that in order to clear those felonies he's the first felon we've ever had as president you like that iPad God Almighty okay
