America is deeply divided there are only two sides to every issue and there is no interest in finding common ground not even with members of your own family but as the 2024 presidential election Looms on the horizon there has never been a more important time to have the necessary conversation welcome to the necessary conversation today we have the full family it's me Chad culon it's my sister Haley Pope and it's my mom and dad Mary Lou and Bob colchon we're going to dive into the top four political issues of the week yo y That's we always do before we do that Mom Dad Haley do any of you have any rants that you want to get off your chest uh Joe Biden is the worst president in the history of the United States since since he took office there has been 8.7 now just listen to these numbers please okay eight 8.7 million illegals that have crossed Nationwide okay 7.2 million have crossed over the southern border that total number of illegals who have entered through the southern border get this in your mind is greater than the population of 36 different states and I won't name them all but it's Alaska goes down the line is one of them Wyoming I don't know it is who cares okay there has also this is sad 1.8 million known getaways they don't even know where they are what's a getaway includes uh they come get car it's not funny it'll be funny when they hold you up somewhere someday um and I don't even know what put the money in the bag and take the keys that was the last time you ever saw me okay and I guess haly's singing today coming in hot Haley you know what would be great if you had a light on your face so that we could see anything look look the the [ __ ] lights are on that light is behind your head so we cannot see your face whatsoever hang on as look would have it let me see if it's as luck would have it I have a lantern here nice put on your Lantern I mean that's a little too much do you want to there okay great looks like you're in a cave but whatever oh Lord okay getting can you put it a little further away from your face man uh getting back to my rant is that better I mean um sure okay what I was saying is we don't even know how many children that is of the getaways and then which you know and then um there were 340 if not more individual names appeared on that Terror watch list that came across our Southern border and then the fastest number of growing group people coming across over 20,000 Communists from China hello Joe Biden I hate you that was the rant yes we we wake up every day hoping we turn on the TV and he's six foot under rant received we thank you for your ranting and now we are going to move on to that portion of our program that we always open with a question from a listener I can't thank everybody enough for sending in those listening to you talk about nonpolitical things such as the recent Mother's Day episode and I actually think that you have a very pleasant voice and a nice Cadence to the way that you speak I was curious if you would ever start your own podcast and if so what would it be called or what kinds of topics would you discuss that aren't political I do have a small idea of maybe a little offshoot called the unnecessary conversation just a thought there you have it Mom we've got someone who likes your speaking voice and likes hearing you talk about things that are not political would you ever do your own podcast and if so what would it be about that was a very nice compliment that made my day because I don't get very many of those these [Laughter] days okay non-political well it's the things that I love I guess my children my horsey flowers butterflies plants things like that maybe and then of course my face lotion and potions and oils and things like that I think if you got a little camera you could definitely start a YouTube podcast about butterflies you know so much about them you're raising them you're cultivating the plants they eat putting them in your backyard so that they can make migration trips across the United States I have some in the backyard right now yeah now dad you and I once talked about you doing a solo podcast are you still interested in that doing what a solo podcast by myself yeah you'd have to put it together yeah I could produce it but you would be the one on the mic with no one else maybe taking uh calls or something like that yeah I could probably do that okay very interesting I would need help too though Chad I would need set it up I could do it next time I come visit I could set you up with a little little system and show you how to use it it's not that hard but what what would dad talk about other than politics what would you talk about Dad if you had a solo podcast politics politics okay Haley if you have you ever thought about doing one you're big on social media you've got some followers yeah I have I just don't have time I I can't produce anything I don't have [ __ ] time if all I had to do was sit in front of the [ __ ] microphone and a camera then I would I would do it I have all kinds of material that I could [ __ ] throw in the arena um yeah I would do it I mean [ __ ] just talking about my bakery the [ __ ] wild [ __ ] that happens on the weekly at my bakery people would eat that [ __ ] up that's why I'm writing a book well you could make a little YouTube show of it just shoot everything that goes on your bakery of course with the permission of all involved cut that together into a little 20-minute episode throw it out on YouTube every week I think they'd do very well yeah maybe we'll see meet of the show a lot has happened this week politically the first thing up the debates with Trump's refusal to attend any of the Republican primary debates Americans were left wondering if he would refuse presidential debates as the election draws nearer but this week both Trump and Biden agreed to appear in not one but two presidential debates the first will be hosted by CNN on June 27th taking place in Atlanta and the second will be held September 10th on ABC usually presidential candidates agree to engage in debates hosted by the commission of presidential debates but neither of these two debates are being hosted by the CPD this will be the first time since the CPD was founded in 1987 that the major party presidential nominees will not participate in CPD sponsored debates President Joe Biden's campaign rejected two additional debates on Friday that former president Donald Trump's campaign says it agreed to do one was a proposal for a presid presidential debate hosted by NBC News and telmundo the other was for a vice presidential debate hosted by Fox News at Virginia State University a historically black college in response to why Biden's team rejected the additional debates a Biden campaign official said simply the debate about debates is over no more games Trump's campaign spokeswoman Daniel Alvarez responded by saying the telmundo NBC debate would be widely watched by his Hispanic voters but Biden's handlers are petrified to allow him to defend his disastrous record crooked Joe Biden is to cobarde which means coward to address the Hispanic community and answer for his failures as the debate on the debate stage so we've got these two debates now they're coming one of them is coming very quickly June 27th is a little over a month away are you going to watch these debates Haley absolutely yeah it's going to be a cluster [ __ ] like I feel like there's going to be no rules just to old men like grumping around incoherent it's going to be wild yeah I'm watching Mom will you watch the debates I can't believe that's even a question of course we will be watching dad you will watch no because there won't be in oh whoa a prediction what do you think's gonna happen uh Joe Biden's gonna back out you think Biden will back out of the debates yes I do I'm putting this at the top of your prediction list that on my top of my prediction okay so this is going to be Joe Biden will not show up okay will not show up to both debates any of them why do you think they won't let him his handlers you think that's correct this is all [ __ ] until the 17th give them some more time to 27th of June to play like they're actually going to do something about debating they're never going to have a debate here's what I'm afraid of why U just all of a sudden okay we'll debate I'm afraid they're gonna make something up and twist it that's why there won't be one toward Trump Trump's gonna wait him out because he figures Biden Biden will either get sick die or they'll pull the plug on it I think you might be right about the second debate I think he's going to make it to June he may die before uh the other one though the supposed to happen in September I think right yeah um all right interesting take on that let's assume that he does live and his handlers do allow him to attend will you watch then sure yes okay so as long as he's there you'll watch but what are all the what are all the stipulations and stuff that they said uh one of the stipulations was Trump wanted a live audience and Biden said no because Trump rils the audience up etc etc that I think all of this personally the stipulations the back and forth about yes I'll do this no I won't do that we'll only do two debates not four all of it is because both candidates I think fear or at least their campaigns I would say fear them doing something very bad in the debate whether it's Joe Biden stammering and and not being able to put a sentence together or it's Donald Trump saying some wild [ __ ] about racism or how he wants to have a term as a president which we'll get to in a minute um I think both campaigns are terrified that their candidate is going to do something that is so detrimental to the campaign they will lose that's why they have minimized the number that's why there's no live audience etc etc the list goes on and sorry go ahead it's it's gonna come down to lie after lie after lie that's what I'm afraid of all of a sudden they said sure we'll debate you know Biden's side they've come up with some good lies and that's why they're gonna I don't know it's we'll see how it goes I can't wait I can't wait won't be one dad said they're not going to have it we'll see all right I I think that they will I think at least the first debate will happen then we're going to have to see what happens in that debate if something terrible happens you're right I think Biden's people may pull the plug on debate number two or or who knows I also am curious I mean we'll never know this maybe in decades from now when a book gets written or something what do you think they're going to pump into Biden to make him able to stand up there for a couple of hours and get through this I know straight cocaine what are they giving him I saw where Trump said he wanted a drug test before for each each there honestly it's smart I I think they may have to drug Biden to get him out there I don't know what they're going to put in his veins but I don't think that adrenaline adrenaline cocain just give him a shot of adrenal left at the White House it could be now who who do you think is going to win these debates I assume Mom and Dad you think Trump land yes okay Haley who do you think is going to win the debate I kind of think Donald Trump I feel like Biden won't be coherent I feel like it's going to be just a complete embarrassment I agree um I've already kind of prepared myself for Donald Trump being our next president and looked into maybe moving to Scotland I don't know well I mean that's that's nice Scotland are you watching Outlander Scotland why Scotland know well we've been there and we liked it yeah okay um now here's full of [ __ ] you're so full of [ __ ] so are you just having a bit of fun just having a wee bit of fun with your daddy you talk you talk about killing people in the streets you're full of [ __ ] as well yeah start if I have money if I had the money and could I would move to Scotland well you don't have you been to Scotland yes [ __ ] I told you that we've been to Scotland we went a couple years ago name now if if I may I had a followup question I had a follow-up question let's assume Trump wins does that matter at all in the election are the votes already cast what are you talking about what does it really matter who in quotes wins the debators perceived to have won in terms of the actual election oh yeah you think it has an impact the debate the debate does has no impact on how people are going to vote it no impact whatsoever we're all watching for like entertainment purposes I actually think it does have an impact on the election I don't think it's going to change anyone's mind like oh now I'm voting for Trump because he won but I do think Biden could do something catastrophic enough in these debates that it would turn off voters who might have come out for him that are just like [ __ ] it I cannot vote for this guy I'm not voting I think that could happen why won't he let debate what's that why won't B and let Kennedy debate I think he understands that if Kennedy is in this race in any kind of a meaningful way it will siphon potential votes off of him but probably not Trump so most of the time third-party candidates siphon from the Democratic candidate there have been some exceptions but if he has a percent he is supposed to be allowed to debate right well I believe the rules at least set up by the the cpdc uh well the DNC has their own [ __ ] but the CPD which again none of these are CPD debates which is the first time that that's happened since that organization was founded in 1987 their rules I believe dictate you have to have a you have to be polling at least 15% and you have to be on a ballot in x amount of states that would allow you to at least get the 170 Electoral College votes that you need I don't know if Kennedy Jr qualifies for that honestly but I also don't know if those rules are applying to this I don't know the reason they're not doing it is because they don't want you to have another option they don't want the public to feel like there is another person that you could possibly be voting for and if you saw a third person on that stage you might get that idea and even if Biden has in the earpiece and they're telling him what to say he still gonna he's not going to have an earpiece they will not that is disaster can you imagine that that's the line on the New York Times Biden getting fed lines in the debate he's not going to have an earpiece have to of course he will know the questions in advance just like you know remember who is the the black lady that gave them all the questions in advance you know who I'm talking about yeah I forgot her name all right let's move on to our second topic the butur speech three-time Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs Harrison but buter delivered a commencement speech at Benedictine College this week in which he referred to pride month as an example of the quote deadly sins as he advocated for a more conservative brand of Catholicism quote not the deadly sin sort of Pride that has an entire month dedicated to it but the true god- centered Pride that is cooperating with the Holy Ghost to glorify him end quote bucker spoke for more than 20 minutes to students at the Catholic School in Acheson Kansas saying he wanted the graduating class to prevent political leaders from interfering with social issues that impact their relationship with the church Sarah Kate Ellis president and CEO of glad a nonprofit lgbtq advocacy organization said in a Wednesday statement quote those with expansive platforms especially athletes should use their voices to uplift and expand and understand and acceptance in the world instead Butter's remarks undermine experiences not of his own and reveal him to be one who goes against his own team's commitment to the Kansas City community and the NFL's standards for respect inclusion and diversity across the league end quote bucker also delivered his views of women's roles in the speech saying quote it is you the women who have had the most diabolic lies told to you some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world but I would venture to Guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world end commitment to inclusion which only makes our league stronger now Haley I assume you don't agree with bucker yeah I I think it dropped like when I was at the bakery and we were all reading it simultaneously and just like is this [ __ ] real like no what so you know you then have to ask yourself who is this [ __ ] do I really I don't give a [ __ ] about him he was at a Catholic college right yeah giving like a religious [ __ ] commencement speech so like it makes sense um obviously no I don't agree with him it's laughable for me but the non- laughable part of this is that like his jersey is selling out people are like yes I applaud you yes a woman belongs in the kitchen and [ __ ] but it's nothing we haven't seen for the last two three years like you know that's that's the direction that this [ __ ] world is is going and it's it's scary it's sad it's why I want to move um but you know it's I do believe in in free speech and it was he was at a religious [ __ ] University delivering this garbage so I mean I'm mad about it but like I I kind of expect it at this point from somebody like that so all right mom do you agree with what he said yes all he okay it was his opinion he could he could say anything he wanted right yeah but do you agree with the statements that a woman should be a mom and excited about that and not really work yes you did work most of your life you worked his whole speech was about a traditional marriage Trad wife um he is a Catholic so it was a little bit faith based I guess but see the lefts that doesn't fit into their mindset a traditional family with family values I feel half of our country should have zeroed in on that speech and said it's great I think the NFL should be ashamed of not backing him um hunt the owner of the Kansas City Chief's wife came out applauded gave gave him Kudos so did the daughter they backed him 100% all right and by the way the NFL the NFL is a historic Relic in what way uh usfl that new one rock started it's going to run him out of business in fact if I was his kicker I would I'd quit the Chiefs and go to the other league that absolutely will not happen multiple times people have tried to start other professional football leagues like the like Vince McMahon's XFL there was blowback to this speech and he wanted to go on the record and clarify what he said and his clarification was even worse than the original speech no like it was absolutely it was a terrible [ __ ] what he thought was going to be you know let me clear the air it was awful let me clear this hang on a second did not he didn't discourage women from pursuing read it he did not discourage wom he literally said my wife's life began the day that she married me and had our children right that brought family forward like the important that's what she wanted the most important thing is mother every wants that you got to say what do you what do you have to say to women that want to be Housewives and raise children yeah what's wrong with that nothing they should do it am Shole no I am for whatever a woman chooses to [ __ ] do and what he wants to do is take that away just like Donald Trump and every other [ __ ] interpret see this is what liberals do they misinterpret things and twist it their way can you read the rebuttal can you read what he came back with about family foundations and he is Catholic Through The Eyes of Catholic based religion and if I'm not mistaken that school year uh questioning about him it's actually his Alma Mo yeah it is where he went to school that's why they asked him to speak Kansas it's a very small Catholic school that's why they asked I guess this whole thing is real [ __ ] Rich considering his mother is a physicist she's like an acclaimed [ __ ] working woman he didn't say that he didn't say you that women couldn't have a career Haley he was just said I need Chad to pull it up I'm trying to find it the only uh God what let me [ __ ] find it he also stated he also stated this Haley that his wife all of his success became the day that he married his wife and they worked on it together and she was a homemaker what's wrong with that he didn't break any laws he didn't say anything weird he brought forth family foundations and marriage and a homemaker is good he brought in traditional family which goes against the grain of all you LGBT ABC uhuh he spoke the truth my initial question was do you agree with what he said dad do you yes 100% okay I don't agree with what he said but I also think he has a full right as an invited speaker at this commencement speech to say whatever he wants on that stage and the public can react however it wants too that's the world we live in you're doing something Public public will react here's the world we live in and it's pretty NFL I I'll make here's here put this on my prediction list okay 10 years from now there won't be an NFL yeah that's what Dad thinks absolutely wrong we may not be here in 10 years but we'll see now here's the part of that I think is so just oh my God like NFL's digging a hole they're never gonna get out of people are making such a big stink about this speech right yeah why aren't people screaming at the top of their lungs about P Diddy kicking the exgirlfriend the video clip down the halling her yeah they are everyone wants him in prison they're not screaming at the top of their long absolutely are is like one no on that one haly she's a P Diddy supporter through and through no matter what he does KCK women down theall prison the ACT got kick his what p didy is doing I mean that but many other things too is seemingly extremely criminal buter did nothing criminal he just gave a speech and told his views to a a Catholic School which is a conservative um you know religious organization exactly and like you said Chad he has the right to do that yeah I don't think he was out of line why would people think that they could start a petition to take his job away because I agree with you that is what the radical how did you feel about uh coppernick Colin Colin Kaepernick taking we know how they felt about that like right so you don't agree with that freedom of speech you agree with this freedom of speech here's the difference listen to the difference the kicker made no crash remarks against America for the United States Colin Kaepernick's entire protest was against this country that in his rebuttal he said the only me too movement I want to see is a woman telling her friend I'm having my fourth child and her friend saying me too that's great that was part of his like me CLE the air anti-American you don't think that's anti-American this guy is anti-woman is anti-American 50% of this country is made of women so you don't think a statement like that is anti-American what no he wants his wife in Tak care ofy you know why it's not an American huh because Haley's group is about 10% of the 50% that make up women in America the other 40% want to have babies and raise families Haley has had babies and raised a family also everybody else doing it okay uh okay let me ask you one final question on this and by the way let's let's get on that topic here you seen it probably it's her we're living in that time now you have a full AI thing that will talk to you learn about you help you do tasks I highly recommend that you start using this immediately because this is the direction of all computer-based AI stuff you're you're going to need to be able to talk to these things and now what's on my computer that I don't know I don't know what you have on your computer have to find out what it is I don't like it download it's not Siri it's not it's not Siri download chat GPT make sure you're on the 40 model and you can speak to this thing and it will speak back to you in a voice that sounds like a human being aiat 4.0 uh nope it's GP 4 little lowercase o like the letter O not the number here it is ask meta that's not no meta is terrible Google's is terrible open AI is the company that's making this they are smoking everybody in the AI race right now okay well all right nobody's used the the most revolutionary technology on planet Earth but but me apparently and I give it glowing reviews it's it is like magic at this point um all right what does it do anything you want everything yes it's getting there it can't like huh what's the icon look like it's the the open AI icon it's like a kind of um flower I guess or I don't even know what it's like a geometric background nope should be white it's open AI chat GPT if you can't find that it is not my fault Jesus Christ all right all right are you guys ready for the next topic yeah Trump's NRA speech on Saturday Trump took the stage to address a crowd at the NRA convention in Dallas part of his speech included the idea of a third presidential term if he wins in November Trump said you know FDR 16 years almost 16 years he was four terms out no are we going to be considered three ter or two ter it's not the first time Trump has mentioned extending his stay in the white house he also suggested the idea while on the campaign Trail in 2020 the NRA is much different than the one that supported him 8 years ago in May 2016 the organization spent more than $30 million to help send him to the White House on Saturday the NRA endorsed Trump again but the group has been embattled with scandals internal power struggles and lawsuits that have emptied its coffers spurring un certainty about how much cash it can put forward to support Trump at a time his own War chest lags behind Biden's the politics around guns has shifted in recent years as gun violence continues to plague the country after the Uvaldi school shooting in 2022 Democrats and Republicans voted for the bipartisan safer communities act the first gun safety legislation in 30 years perceived to be a massive blow to the NRA Haley do you think Trump is serious about a third term yeah I think he wants to eliminate terms altogether mom do you think he's serious serious yes I think he is and it would be wonderful dad you think he's serious about it no I just think he's throwing it out there so everybody can get used to the idea but used to the idea so that eventually he will run for a third term or claim a thir he will I don't think he thinks it's possible to win again well I mean it's not legally possible it's just something to Raw the left up thinking that oh my God he might be in there for two more yeah I mean it is not legally possible to have three terms as a president currently because of the 22nd amendment but after after this next term he's going to be Biden's age that's correct yeah all right uh do you think Haley that the NRA is as important now as it was in 2016 in terms of financial support or even uh the ction of of public support yeah I think the NRA has a lot of power I mean especially here in Texas [ __ ] Greg Abbott is funded by them I think they have immense power yes Mom do you think they're still as powerful yes very important Dad yep now you guys are both multiple gun owners mom and dad but are you members of the NRA no no why not why be because they're in lock step with your political beliefs and they support your your political candidates that's all I need to do protection I need D NRA we're ready locked and loaded mom why are you not a member of the NRA uh never felt the need that we had to you know that we had to join nobody's pressured us we lived in Texas and Oklahoma and Kansas we've always had guns locked and loaded you don't need to worry about the NRA in those three states why is that because they're dominant but don't you think probably the most members of the NRA come from States just like the ones you mentioned yeah and it's you know what it's from it's not from owning pistols and rifles it's from owning hunting guns okay most of the people that belong to the NRA are Hunters I don't know if that's accurate not I don't know how to even look up that stat I think if you look it up you'll find at least 50% or more HS let me see let me see if I can get this stat quickly give it a shot per hunting Hunters yeah you're roughly right NRA members also hunt and shoot with more frequency than gun owners who aren't NRA members 50% say they go hunting often or sometimes compared with 30% of non-members 60% 66% sorry of NRA members go shooting often or sometimes versus 49% of non-members how often do you guys go shooting we haven't in a long time been a while same all right well I guess we're moving on to Israel's war cabinet falling apart Benny gance a Centrist member of Israel's three- member War cabinet threatened to resign from the government last Saturday if it well what his head I said where'd he go I moved he threatened to resign Saturday if Israel doesn't adopt a new plan in three weeks time for the war in Gaza a move that would what are you showing us mom joining the NRA it's $30 for one a new plan in 3 weeks time for the war in Gaza a move that would leave prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu more reliant on his far-right allies his announcement escalates a divide within Israel's leadership more than 7 months into a war in which it has yet to to accomplish its stated goals of dismantling Hamas and returning scores of hostages abducted in the October 7th attack Netanyahu is under growing pressure on multiple fronts hardliners in his government want the military offensive on gaza's Southernmost city of Rafa to press ahead with the goal of crushing Hamas top Ally uh the United States and others have warned against the offensive on a city where more than half of gaza's population of 2.3 million people have sheltered hundreds of thousands have now fled and they have threatened to scap back support over God gaza's humanitarian crisis The War Began after Hamas October 7th attack on Southern Israel that killed 12200 people and took 250 others hostage Israel says around 100 hostages are still captive in Gaza along with the bodies of around 30 more people the Israeli Army has killed more than 35,000 Palestinians in Gaza local Health officials say while hundreds more have been killed in the occupied West Bank so where' dad go he had to go to the restroom all right uh I feel like he will have probably the the most intense opinions here about this do you think Mom that uh this is a sign of Netanyahu losing support even within his own government that one of his three War cabinet ministers has said if you don't figure out what we're [ __ ] doing here I'm out told Reuters the official said uh got hit by an Israeli missile their lives are at risk following the crash which happened on the way back from a visit to the Border 20 rescue teams and drones have been sent to the area where it went down I don't think they found them yet that's not good yeah they're saying bad weather was the cause of the crash is that remotely possible or was this something else I don't know yeah maybe that's pretty nuts well then we're looking at a World War III scenario are is this getting closer to that do you feel not from Iran no I'm saying [ __ ] I'm saying like let's say that that is what happened here that Israel shot a missile at the Iranian president's helicopter and and maybe successfully took him out that obviously is a Step Beyond what's happening in Gaza that's a a completely different country and at this point the United States which I would consider to be kind of the at least publicly globally is kind of the Arbiter of like how far are we going to let this escalate so far the United States has not only been okay with the genocide it has funded some of it um would they be okay with that step with Israel now firing missiles at the Iranian president's helicopter doesn't matter whether the United States agrees with it or not what you what you guys are all missing here is the cabinet from Netanyahu it doesn't matter whether all of them leave he's G to finish the job and you can take that to the bank and if this President really did go down they'll just bring in what vice president and it'll still got the AA but that's kind of scary me ask you this about the Gaza genocide do you think that Netanyahu will go into Rafa despite the US and he's just GNA go and obliterate everybody gonna wipe their ass out and and you know now that they've retrieved those three bodies and that or four now and that one girl that was so sad where they were throwing her in the back of the truck that one's dead that's really gonna he's not going to which is kill 35,000 people but a million people is a lot more and now we're talking about Rafa where pretty much all the refugees the best thing on planet earth that could happen is for the
