America is deeply divided there are only two sides to every issue and there is no interest in finding common ground not even with members of your own family but as the 2024 presidential election Looms on the horizon there has never been a more important time to have the necessary conversation welcome to the necessary conversation we've had a big week it's been uh roughly one week since the debate concluded we're going to get into a bunch of the things that have happened post debate do some factchecking we're going to be talking about uh some other things as well the Taylor Swift endorsement of kamla Harris we're talking about Laura lomer and the pope are you ready for all of this hello yes yes I was trying to find all right wake up [ __ ] um so do you have any diddies or anything mom of course I always have a diddy so where's he at who Chad that's not his house oh my gosh he was in the restroom when we were discussing this I'm in a hotel room because our apartment is tented for termites so we had to flee it for a little while both sides like not just your your side but the others people the whole building yeah that's terrible it's just what they do how they find out about it the termites yeah yeah I mean every summer I would put in a text message for probably the past 10 years saying there's thousands of termites in my living room and I would get one back saying well there's more of them than there are of us I just be like okay and I guess now they're they're finally doing something about it wow so welcome to the necessary everyone now that you've had that little glimpse into my life um we are going to talk about these these topics but Mom do you have a yes please a patriot reached out to me because what's odd about this we we're all from Kansas State Bob graduated there I graduated there haly graduated there Conrad graduated there and we have a grandson there so we're third generation Kansas State fans and on X you know who Charlie Kirk is is Right Haley do you know who Charlie Kirk is Chad yes a rightwing provocator who tries to engage people in arguments no he knows a lot and he debates people he's the guy with like the creepy gummy smile right yes and he goes to college campuses and is like women aren't human beings prove me wrong [ __ ] like that right okay he he was the the president or the founder of Turning Point USA he has his pod and all that he he went to the Kansas State game which they won against was it Arizona ball it was a great game what he does is go to colleges and he'll set up just to chat with students so apparently it's not just to chat with students though he specifically is seeking liberal students especially students who are part of the lgbtq plus community so that he can argue with them about the validity of their points right because most college campuses now their minds are like 99% woke and we've got to make a change for that we sent Rome into Kansas State thinking Kansas state was more in the middle of everything it wasn't that liberal why are you laughing Haley keep it up um so they had his table they shut he had his table students started asking questions the debate was going they shut his table down and said get out of here okay that is not right that's not freedom of speech I mean it's a a private campus they they have the right to uh I I'll correct you there it's not a private campus it's a public university right but does takes tax dollars it takes everything but the campus is private the the land it's on no it's not anyone can just walk on to that campus do anything it's public university okay here's what I would like to for you to do yeah when you and Dad and Conrad and Roman go to Kansas State game G I would love for you to set up a table chatting with people and see if they e and shut you down I'd like to see what we chat about anything you want that's what he was well he's a recognizable figure on Tik Tok uh most notably for what Chad said he baits the lgbtq plus Community just to [ __ ] on them so oh campus the campus itself has so many groups including Christian organizations um most of which I don't believe or hateful but this guy is pretty [ __ ] uh grotesque chapiro type yeah so I'm a nerd who's gonna argue with you just to show you my argumentative skills yeah what he said if if they're coming after him then he must be doing something right too sure all he's doing is asking questions and I just I was kind of appall being an alumni at Kansas State to think that that happened there that they would you stop donating money will you try to convince uh Roman to stop going there you know if if colleges get too woke I would be happy with him not going on and just having a job I maybe they're just trying to protect the student the student body what maybe the school is just trying to protect the student body at large oh from someone asking questions yeah yeah bet you can't find the hand well he's an [ __ ] he's a [ __ ] [ __ ] no he's not no he's not and you know if if the if Roman goes to a college or the girls where it's so woke that they're just pushing stuff down their throats I'd rather them not go to college they don't push anything down their throats I don't understand that what like in reference to what all kinds of stuff like you have to take biology chemistry and certain M I don't understand what you're saying move on you know what I'm talking about mov on one more ddy I'm sorry one more you said and this one I did have all down I was going to read but it's too long all I wanted to say was this we are touching people's lives I can't believe it um uh a listener did uh reach out to me and it it got to me and it got to Dad it was in regard to yes it did oh it was in regard to she said I watch your Tod she said um I wish my mom would have the necessary conversation with me for the last year my mom won't talk to me because she's moved more away to the left side the mother more to or the other way the mother how long do you got stay in that hotel please just a couple days oh so the girl had moved one way to um the right side and the mother was all the way to the left and the mother is choosing not to speak with her or even meet her one-year-old uh baby daughter now yeah so is it really worth it I mean there was a time when we didn't talk about politics but now that I see that that's stupid there was a time where there time wouldn't talk to us at whole yeah the only time we would talk is when Haley and I would come back you'll get another dose and we would be sitting in your living room and Fox News would be playing on the living room TV and the bedroom TV with a slight delay between the two forming a literal Echo chamber and then we just be sitting there waiting for Dad to explode and start screaming about Obama or whatever that was our talking but I do think this podcast has helped no I'm I'm glad we're touching lives I'm glad that your life was also touched by this person's life who you touched real quick if you want to touch us anymore in our lives I don't get on Tik Tok a lot and that's where that message came through I do more Instagram so you can to the show for a long time and as far as I can tell um Bob Mary Lou you guys are in pretty lock up with magga and Trump and his platform and policy and and the party in general meaning magga not necessarily the GOP Haley Chad you guys are more or less as far as I can tell in line with the Democratic party and their policy um Haley especially Chad I'm pretty sure you want a robot to be president and no borders and all that but you definitely lean left um my question is do any of you break from the party lines on any issue and no Israel Haley because I know you're critical of Israel but so are a lot of Democrats that's it do you break from your parties there's the question do you break from your parties is there anything that you think the left is doing well mom or dad or anything that the right you think is doing poorly interesting question when he said break from your party I thought he was he meant voting I I'll vote a straight ticket I'm not going to break but I mean policy-wise do you think there's do you disagree with anything that Trump is putting forth in terms of policy do you agree with anything that the left might be doing no okay so no breaking from the party Haley I'm not a Democrat um I don't really feel like I belong to a party uh just to clarify that I am a business owner so there are some things for me that are gray when it comes to uh my [ __ ] business um sure I don't know like civil liberties and [ __ ] like I'm all the way left but I would certainly say that I am not a staunch liberal on all matters so yeah I break from if you want to call it a party uh on on some issues for sure because as a business owner here's one example do you uh are you looking forward to having no taxes at all on overtime pay I mean yeah like I said there's Trump that's Trump there's [ __ ] that is graay for me I don't belong to a party I I am not all one way um there are there's like several issues for me that I would consider myself radicalized on but like I said it's mostly like civil liberties yeah uh you know but there's certainly great area I'm not I don't lean all the way left all the time but you want make any Trump cookies it's coming and get horse cookies you won't put those Trump cookies out and see if they'll sell I bet if you would bake some Trump cookies those people would come in and buy them I yeah I have people uh email me and ask me well will you make a [ __ ] Trump cookie the answer is yes I'll take your [ __ ] money just order it you have to order this [ __ ] I'm not going to electively put that in my case because I am voting for Trump but if you want a [ __ ] Trump email me I'll make it Trump gonna vote fora Trump are you I promise I I I think I would pay you money if right there right there that right there is the whole cookie make no mistake make no mistake about it I do not love no I do not love KLA Harris I think Donald Trump and KLA Harris are both [ __ ] snakes who would sell us out to the highest bidder I do do not trust politicians however there are things that are super important to me that I believe she will deliver on if I vote for her Donald Trump is a [ __ ] crook through and through oh my God disgusting person anyway anyway it's we always come to like the lesser of two evils I always feel that that is the case remember that phrase we'll be we'll be talking about that a later do this said you hate Harris and you do the same thing just to make money yeah I don't love her but I'm still gonna vote for her and I want other people to vote for her as well therefore I [ __ ] push that at my bakery I want that vote I'll be making an order soon ridiculous my answer to this question is I want everything to move toward Utopia I don't believe democracy is Utopia I believe Utopia is Utopia saying that'll never happen that'll never happen means it won't but if everybody believes it can or will then it will and I do think that there will be some kind of a technological Utopia I don't know in the next hundred years or so that possibility will exist and I think it will just be because of human greed and fear that we we may not implement it but that's what I ultimately want to happen for Humanity which means the dissolving of all governments so I mean I don't really consider myself part of a party either I think the at least in the country where I have a vote or whatever any kind of say in this you you want to dissolve all forms of government yes and military who's going to pay for all your [ __ ] I want to dissolve all forms of money oh so who's going to build the roads and robots the the bridges robots robots Okay um so for me both parties are and who's gonna build the robots other robots Roman will oh okay we glad you're you're on the same page with me um for me both governmental parties or even the entire system of Ines democracy Jesus is extremely fallible it has been corrupted by money uh really since the beginning but it's gotten very bad now and so I don't even think like when you're looking at the two parties in America I don't think they actually represent democracy it is at this point you know going into like corporate oligarchy where the whatever Corporation is funneling the most money into the coffers is going to get the most say in how the laws are written that dictate how our food is made how our water is processed etc etc um Shan Shan I will vote Democrat because I think that is closer to he say what did he say Utopia you're gonna vote Democratic yeah because I think that is going in the direction of at least socially utopian okay for sure I think the termites are in your brain okay uh well let me just ask you this do you think people having more rights is more utopian or less rights I want rights I don't want to my rights away that's communism so that's the Democrats they're giving more personal freedom to people the Republicans want to take it away no they're not no that's the opposite it's just the opposite of what you're some of the aftermath that has happened over the course of this past week now these are the facts I'm just going to read numbers some facts keep them in your minds and then we'll have a discussion where are you getting the facts internet.com it was watched by 67.1 million viewers do you agree with that no why I have no idea I have no idea why don't you AG with that Dad gole it 67.1 million viewers watched it you don't agree no more or less less and why do you think that because it's all propaganda okay Trump has refused to do another debate do you believe that yes okay so at least we're on the same page there there have been multiple polls conducted post debate by independent polling companies Reuters IPOs Mor consult yugov and Ledger uh in the Reuters ipsus poll 53% of people who had heard something about the debate believe that Harris came out on top as opposed to 24 thinking Trump won the morning consult poll showed similar margins 55 to 25 in favor of thinking Harris won that is broadly in line with three earlier post debate polls conducted by the other polling companies which gave Harris an average debate winning margin of 23% so all of these big independent polls have Harris winning do you agree that those polls show those numbers I agree that they are not independent oh there was that was never question uh and that's question here from those same companies in the general election they all have Harris ahead by roughly Five Points 47 to 42 and she has risen one point generally speaking since the debate the two biggest sound bites that came from theb the debate were both from Trump he said quote in Springfield they're eating the dogs the people that came in they're eating the cats they're eating they're eating the pets of the people that live there okay thank you and he also said that K Harris wants to do transgender operations on illegal aliens that are in prison now here's what a week of factchecking has found about both claims on the matter of pets being eaten in Ohio a city spokesperson told PolitiFact that claims that Haitian immigrants PolitiFact who PolitiFact it's like a fact city a city and the police just let me read he's not the one that lost his dog is he let me go ahead and finish reading this yeah read it up uh the claims that Haitian immigrants are stealing neighbors pets to eat them are unfounded the city has received no such reports and Springfield police have received no reports of pets being stolen and or eaten on the matter arue with this [ __ ] stop on the matter of trump saying Harris wants to do operations on transgender illegal aliens there is actually some Merit to that claim in 2019 Harris responded to a questionnaire from the American civil liberties Union as president the questioner asked will you use your executive authority to ensure that transgender and non-binary people who rely on the state for medical care including those imprison and immigration detention will have access to comprehensive treatment associated with gender transition including all necessary surgical care if yes how will you do so Harris checked the box for yes on this questionnaire and wrote I support policies ensuring that federal prisoners and detainees are able to obtain medically necessary care for gender transition including surgical care while Inc incarcerated or detained Harris also pointed to her work as California attorney general saying she pushed quote she pushed the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to provide gender transition surgery to State inmates so that claim seems to have been true he said it in a way that everybody thought was funny and he got made fun of for it but that's that claim is that claim is predominantly true the pets eating one absolutely not so I okay that's your opinion I have no that's not my opinion this is reporting the cops have said no one is claiming that any of their pets have been stolen and eaten the city officials are saying this is not happening Why on YouTube then and on Instagram are there people saying that is true so because it's YouTube and Instagram you can't trust everything that you see on social media but you trust everything you read on the left side of things it's not the left side of things I'm also saying the thing that he said about her saying that transgender [ __ ] is true do you I want to ask you this question do you believe that for that what it was an hour and 30 minutes or 45 minute debate that he was those moderat moderators baited him and only fact checked him what five times and her never never yeah yeah do you do you agree with that how can that be a debate I don't care if you are running to be the president United States hey hey hey question was not whether you care it's do you believe it so do you think that debate was one-sided yeah I think KL Harris Crush okay yeah you would say yeah with the help of the commentators maybe not factchecking her not making her look stupid when she was stupid up there and the evil [ __ ] that she is you know what I didn't think I would hate anybody worse than Hillary Clinton yeah yeah she's got my vote now and what's the difference why do you hate KLA Harris more than Hillary Clinton she's a communist she's she's gonna make us all communist she lies about everything she says she flip-flops she won't take a stand on anything she evades questions she tells people what they want to hear all of those things also describe Donald Trump no they don't everything you said ask some questions about this topic your opinion we're happy today we know um who mom and dad you think won the election but these poll numbers have come out we know you Trump won you mean theate the debate yeah sorry um Chads off today these numbers have come out I know you think Trump won but do you think that most people think haris one no I don't think so you think the the poll numbers are just lies not our friend I think the poll numbers are left left Centric and I don't believe any of them so if she wins you won't if she wins the entire election you will not believe it and you will not accept it that is absolutely correct the United States will not accept it and there will be a war okay um next question you do still think Haitians are eating pets in Ohio yes I do okay my God let me ask you this Haley does the now we have this knowledge of uh the transgender surgeries for inmates it's true that is true she does or did support that at least in 2019 I don't know what her position is now but there is evidence of her having said this in this questionnaire does that information make you think any differently of her no I mean so she lied in do all do all inmates do they all have access to healthcare like all of them I mean in quotes sure that's not the question in quotes yeah that's ch's asking you um ahead of time that she said no and like rolled her eyes like yeah really I already I don't [ __ ] trust yes no I don't care because I know she lies about probably 50% of the [ __ ] that she says during this debate like I don't I don't trust KLA Harris but I certainly do believe that you know she may reinstate some kind of federal law that will give women bodily autonomy again I believe that like there are just several civil rights that I believe will be reinstated for particularly women uh which is very important to me um maintaining you know marriage between lgbtq plus community members I mean there are so many issues at hand that I do believe she will [ __ ] step up to the plate and and make happen so for that reason I will vote for her but do I trust [ __ ] no how about that that VP you know the DWI I don't yeah I don't really care it doesn't I don't care they all you know what his state will do right now with your people that with the children that think um they might be a boy or a girl or don't know uh they will be taken away from their parents from that point forward his state will take over they can have their boobs cut off their dick cut off they have all kinds of surgeries and all of your weird all of these scenarios aren't real that doesn't happen that's true you need to look that one up that is true the state will take them away from their parents from that point forward all kinds of bad things can happen to their body just because a fifth grader thinks that's right or not from that then years later when they're really screwed up and they want to go back the other way they can't and that that is from the state that he's in and he passed that law look that one up I mean I don't I don't think the state should [ __ ] be involved at all when it comes to parents and their children who want to transition that has no bearings on whether or not they should be able to transition it's between the family you should be able to receive whatever [ __ ] Health Care you want as a human being in the United States of America and that just simp not the cas anymore let's talk about it real quick dad's hip surgery we got the bill you guys know the number already $190,000 now if we didn't have insurance and Medicare and a secondary insurance how would we even have paid for that we would go bankrupt no we wouldn't okay we wouldn't quit it but people would most people would most people would yeah yeah so thank you to the insurance and the Medicare that is our government that you know at the most we'll pay 2,000 out of $190,000 Bill what gets better on that I asked always ask for the itemized statement I like to read through one of his pills that was a diabetes pill that we normally pay three months maybe $60 for three months they charged us $160 for one one pill in the hospital yeah our health care System [ __ ] sucks that's not because they are charging insurance companies they know that these it's just money just getting shuffled around in giant quantities they don't yes I agree with what hey was saying the Health Care system is [ __ ] horrible in America yeah we have great quality health care it's just a matter of what do you have to do to get it and it's largely insurance if you can't get good insurance you're B Bally [ __ ] because it's going to cost you so much money all right let's move on to our next topic Taylor Swift endorses kamla Harris moments after the debate ended last Tuesday the most famous musical artist of this era Taylor Swift publicly endorsed KLA Harris with a main grid Instagram post featuring a picture of herself and her cat Benjamin Button she captioned the pick with a four paragraph explanation of her reasoning behind the endorsement and an admission that she fears AI she signed the message Taylor Swift childless cat lady a clear shot fired at Trump's running mate JD Vance mom will this endorsement make any difference in the outcome of this election well I don't think so if you think that does um she's already endorsed her months and years ago she's left Winger big she does matter everybody and her pot is the left Winger okay so it's not gonna change GNA change [ __ ] there was an article that came out and said immediately following her post almost 400,000 young people signed up to vote you know you know who I think and out of that 400,000 none of them will vote you know who I think is gonna change this election it's not going to be her swifties it's going to be young men I think the young men f up with to like YMCA are going to get around Trump but if you think she's influencer what about um I read on X so this has to be true Micki Jam Endor Trump 29 million listeners on Spotify 43 million on Instagram 7even million on Tik Tok Horace could only wish I don't even know who Nicki Jam is I don't either American singer songwriter he's reggae Puerto Rican Latin mix so now Trump has all the Latins on on his side but it's not Taylor Swift you can recognize that Taylor Swift is the most famous musical artist on planet Earth you I don't think I really don't think people should Endor their candidates like that I think she's one of she's not just the biggest musician in the world right now she is potentially the most influential celebrity like to date and it's very sad if that's what our country has come down to that we have to oh who is he voting for who is she voting for make up your own [ __ ] Donald Trump is a reality star and you're gonna vote for him for president so why do you have a problem has been president he's a reality star president in the past and businessman you fired but that's why he became president is because he too is an influencer that that's the whole reason he won is because he won the internet in 2016 and the internet was constantly talking about him and he was tweeting all the time that's an influencer okay Taylor Swift's a [ __ ] joke Okay so you guys don't think it will have any outcome on the election no no it absolutely will yeah absolutely all every young person that idolizes Taylor Swift who was not registered is now registered and will in fact vote for KLA Harris because then they can go to Tim wall State and have transgender surgery and then cut off their boobs and dicks way to go Taylor Swift no because the swifties she is like a god to her fan base yes and so if her as that God if she says I'm doing this and it is a a low kind of barrier of Entry to do that thing it's a low effort activity they will all do it and this is a low effort activity register to vote and then go vote you don't have to pay any money you don't have to you know travel a 100 miles people are flying from wherever they live in the United States to like England andit countries to watch her concerts you don't think they'll vote the same way she does I think it's sad that our country has come down to that that's just sad sad to idolize someone like that and vote just because they say to vote that way you're doing it with Donald Trump that no it means our America you don't have a brain in your head anymore you're doing the same thing with Donald Trump you're going to vote for sexually assaulted women no one has told me to vote for Donald Trump but Donald Trump has but myself yeah I've made up my mind that's who I want I'm not looking at a superstar like somebody that I I in the m in the music world to tell me who to vote for why would you do that no you're looking to someone that you idolize in the professional wrestling and reality TV world what what's the difference no it when he was our President we were much better and guess who couldn't even answer that question horse face all right well so you don't think it's gonna make any outcome Haley you do I tend to think it will as well simply because of that number you mentioned 400,000 people registered to vote literally within 24 hours of her making this post they're all young people they're going to vote away and in an election that is continually being sold to us as it's close it's going to be tight it's going to be close that 400,000 people could be all the difference that is needed in some of these little counties that are going to determine the swing States we will see we will see um Mom and Dad do you hate Taylor Swift now I don't hate or I just give a [ __ ] one way or the other about her I don't think any celebrity she's absolutely worthless in my world I don't listen to any of her music because it's [ __ ] okay he doesn't know um but when a when a celebrity goes and on limb like that and says you need to vote for this person then their ego is pretty big too thinking that they can influence people and oh I'm the best she has no bearing on my life whatsoever well part of part of why part of why she did it was uh Donald Trump was like circulating AI [ __ ] with Taylor Swift on it she Saidi want you to not I need you to understand I'm not endorsing Donald Trump that [ __ ] is fake and in fact I now feel compelled to tell you who I am voting for and you believe that you believe that that that was all put out there like that it was did you see it there were videos of her holding up for Trump signs and stuff like this who put that out there who oret these things there yeah somebody created it but he was was using it to reinforce vote for me look at Taylor Swift she likes me the do you know he was doing that he tweeted it why couldn't somebody else be doing it using his Twitter I don't understand yeah I don't I don't quite get this either he posted this [ __ ] himself okay she wanted to clear the air she said I'm not voting for him if that's what you believe don't care he thrust her into doing this he let's not waste another throughout our lives and I wanted to go through our our list of all of us who have been your favorite single pet in your entire life what is your favorite pet that's too hard did you say Mom first yeah that's hard they're all my favorites you know that we've had pets ever since we we now this is weird we had a dog before we were married we were like I was in my teens and dad was 20 the dog's name get ready Roman we named our dog Roman before our first grandbaby was ever born and Haley named M Roman is that bizarre that was a favorite dog of mine but out of all the and we've had several out of all the pets ever the one that took my soul with them would be Max not Rudy no it was Max Rudy D stop it they're all part of my heart and soul and you Ean know it Dad Coco put your face on the camera please Coco Coco who was who's Coco my first dog when you were how old probably from six to nine and then his family moved into the City and his mother made him leave the dog on the farm for Neighbors to watch and it died about how many weeks later not very many got ran over by a car your father should be in therapy over Coco I hear Coco every second day of my life you scream Coco in your your mares sometimes no cuz I do remember getting a call from you once which was rare you you virtually never call me or Haley it's always through mom the communication is done I don't remember when this was must have been 10 years ago or so I was in my car and I saw my phone go off and it was you and I answered it and I just hear Rudy dad and you were crying about Rudy dying yeah but Coco still Takes the Cake yeah Haley favorite pet this is hard I've had a lot of pets yeah you have you have a lot and I currently have a lot of pets managerie so ah we love pets so I'll the first animal I ever had to put down was Duff he was a Sheba enu we had him for I think 15 years he was the first dog that seub and I ever adopted um and that was was like my first experience with like a loss of a pet and that it like brought me to my [ __ ] knees because we held him while they put him down in our home yeah it's rough and uh all of the other pets were around so they sniffed him and like as he left they all just stood there at the door and it was like I guess I'll never forget that because it was the first time I had to deal with a pet death so it's like it's still very Vivid for me but um we've lost pets over the years and I guess the one that I think of most fondly is probably stinky our cat he was the literal first pet that we ever had I got him in college I wasn't supposed to have pets in my whole [ __ ] nightmare scenario but I was like I can't let him die so I had stinky literally from like birth until he just died last year and he was 21 years old wow so I had him he was in my life longer than he wasn't yeah we called him Ming a Ming yeah so uh not stink I miss I miss him immensely he was probably my favorite pet he used to give me hugs he'd stand up on his back legs and hold Marjorie Taylor green called the post about Curry appalling and extremely racist and said it did not represent Trump's make America great again movement Senator Tom Tillis called lummer a quote crazy conspiracy theorist who regularly utters disgusting garbage intended to divide Republicans and said a Democratic party quote plant couldn't do a better job than she's doing to hurt president Trump's chances of winning reelection my question is mom who is Laura lommer why is she hanging around Trump yeah I don't know and you know who was the guy that brought up on act that he thought they were rights he said they were both quote against life this is a quote from the pope to send migrants away to leave them wherever you want to leave them at all it's something terrible there is evil there to send away a child from the womb of the mother is an assassination because there is life we must speak about these things clearly he said 52% of Catholic registered voters describe themselves as as leaning Republican while 44% say they lean Democrat Catholic voters were split in 2020 however with 50% voting for Biden and 49% supporting Trump but a majority of Catholics 61% believe abortion should be legal in all or most cases now Mom and Dad you are Catholic does the pope calling Trump evil and denouncing his immigration policies mean anything to you no you guys are not Catholic this Pope first of all yes we are Catholic and cathol the pope is not Catholic the current pope the current pope we have now yeah does not belong as Pope and they need to get rid of him okay so everything
