you said a nuclear weapon would be used in Ukraine within 30 to 40 days we are now 223 days past that prediction all right no nuclear weapons have been used in that war has your prediction failed no correct language as someone who works with kids with intellectual disabilities I can't help but notice that Bob often uses the word [ __ ] to insult Chad using the r word is disrespectful to people with intellectual disabilities even if you have no intention to harm people with intellectual disabilities when you say it using someone's medical diagnosis as an insult is unkind I'm wondering if you see any value in using politically correct language do you believe there are any people groups including people with intellectual disabilities who deserve your respect thank you there you have it clear to that is no no one deserves any respect no one reserve it deserves any politically correct [ __ ] okay let me ask you this what is the value that you get out of going against politically correct speech the fact that the American Revolution number two has started the medal has already started hitting the meat um check your news yeah we're already starting to kill them okay so and I've already started giving money I don't give a rat's ass about politically correct speech for one percent of the [ __ ] population but why why do Politically Incorrect speech what do you get out of it I way hurtful to another people or a group of yeah I don't give a [ __ ] that's what it basically boils down to now I would never go up to a child see to me [ __ ] would be like why did you guys cringe when I said [ __ ] or down syndrome to me that is [ __ ] child okay and this is an Antiquated a child with a handicap their [ __ ] functionability is [ __ ] I am not gonna go up to a child don't give a [ __ ] what anybody says medically they are [ __ ] and you their physical abilities and a lot of their mental abilities are [ __ ] versus normal and we would never go up to a small child or even an adult what you wanted in that way after you don't give it to say that but when we called Chad or Haley [ __ ] that is like in our family it's like oh you're slow oh it's a joke it was it's a joke it's nothing uh against you guys with your brain power with your mental abilities it's a joke so that like you know that lady takes everybody she's taking it way too serious because she's an educator okay moderators brought it up it was a question that they asked specifically to Chris Christie but Mom please get to your rant and then we'll begin today's topics which are doozies to say the least my rant Biden is the worst president in the history of the United States okay when he went to Hawaii um you know any normal person to the families to the victims they would say my sincere sympathy I'm so sorry I have great concern for everyone missing still and to the to the victims that are that are dead did he do that no um in fact he compared I I'll quote it exactly that let me find it that his little kitchen fire was the same I've got um I've got to do the exact words I don't want to compare difficulties but we have had a little oh gosh I gotta get my glasses on we have had a little sense Jill and I of what it was like to lose a home years ago now 15 years ago I was in DC doing Meet the Press lightning struck at our home on a little Lake outside the home not a joke it was a big pond it hit the wire came underneath our home into the air conditioning ducts to make a long story short I almost lost my wife my 67 Corvette and he giggled and my cat fat I fact checked he did have a fire it was in that home it was in the kitchen and it was put down in 20 minutes he compared that his house fire to the to the fire in Hawaii that killed hundred I think what do we have up to 115 000 still not even they don't know where they are to me that's absolutely disgusting yeah he's a piece of [ __ ] worst president in the history launching paper towels at people after a hurricane devastated all of their homes they're not talking about Trump are we well we are going to right now because our first topic wait a minute wait a minute I'm not I'm on my Ram sorry sorry I gave 700 Des Moines of that fire in Maui not individuals to the family uh FEMA inspectors are staying over there now to inspect things at a thousand dollars a night in hotels 2200 is given to each illegal that enters our country if you didn't know that 24 billion to Ukraine he was booed in Tahoe which is to me a very liberal town they booed him um in Maui they flipped him off in the procession as he was coming um he's been on vacation 40 of his presidency it's almost 365 days almost a whole year now he's been on vacation uh since he has been I agree with you he's a pile of [ __ ] there was a reporter that asked him something about the Maui fires uh when he was back in the United States he said no comment and to that his people around him said he didn't hear the question they always make stuff up to make it sound correct when it's not on August 21st he fell asleep well this was fact checked again and I looked they're covering this up it was a nine second nod off so they're not calling it that he fell asleep but he did over in Maui uh they are saying the video was manipulated and taken out of context wait so he's the worst president in the history of the United States he will go down as that because also the unnecessary spending he's done um in the history United States that we have all had to put money into the economy the inflation the Border crisis oh my God the Afghanistan withdrawal which I will never forget what a piece of [ __ ] he was there oh by the way uh the war on YouTube I think we get it Chinese has those and airplanes going over I'm the secretary of going over Taiwan we know what's going to happen there yeah he'll lay down and he won't say a goddamn thing right and not to mention he allowed his justice department to indict a former president which has never happened in the history of the United States and when he was asked about Trump's mug shot he laughed and giggled and said a good looking guy I can't [ __ ] wait to see his mug shot [ __ ] he's probably gonna be falling asleep as they take it he will have one he's either dead from just natural causes or shot before he gets done with his term Biden sold down America when he was our VP he compromised our national security and he did this all while his family got rich and he didn't give a [ __ ] now if Europe if you're okay with any of that then vote for Donald Trump you're not my friend there you go that's my rant [ __ ] Joe Biden I hate him me too all right moving on uh our first topic is Trump's arrest last Thursday in Atlanta Donald Trump turned himself in at the Fulton County Jail to be booked on felony charges in connection with efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in Georgia the arrest was Trump's fourth since April and it was the first time he or any former U.S president had his mug shot taken the booking took place in a state that was largely Ground Zero for his stolen election million dollars in 48 hours if you'll let me finish I'll literally say that um this was uh all of his election denial claims have been proven to be false Trump's continued insistence that the election results could not be trusted help cost Republicans control the U.S Senate in a runoff election on January 5th 2021. he was in and out of jail in about 20 minutes after posting 200 000 bail and booking records listed three let me just let me just finish it and then we can talk uh his booking records listed his height at six foot three and his weight at 215 pounds which would be 29 pounds lighter than he was at the time of his last White House physical in 2020. the source of the drills information is unclear and it appeared online before he even arrived at the jailhouse to be measured or weighed Trump has raised nearly 20 million in the past three weeks a period that roughly coincides with his indictment in federal and state cases connected to his false claims that the 2020 election was stolen from him Trump's campaign uh spokesman said on Saturday an estimated 7.1 million dollars of that 20 million has come in the days since his mug shot was released with last Friday raking in four million dollars alone the highest single day total for the entirety of his campaign mom and dad and Haley whoever wants to jump in first is the mug shot going to be the thing that wins him the election is that image going to be the thing that he puts his whole campaign around absolutely I don't think he'll put his whole campaign around I don't think he I don't think uh we have to wait for an answer on anything he will be president okay Haley mug shot thoughts on it I mean I yeah I foresee him you know spending it as it's a Witch Hunt they're after me look at this mug shot but I mean like you just said he acquired what seven million dollars yeah 48 Hours mom and dad are even saying that they've already contributed yes to the cause so I mean what happened yeah it certainly didn't hurt him and now I'm ready to contribute bullets let me tell you what happened so the minute um we get emails from his campaign from the official Maga campaign so the next morning I looked for it all that day um you know the mug shot came out late in the afternoon or that evening the next day I get my email here it is and it said here's my mug shot blah blah blah if you would if you would like to contribute you may do it now blah blah so I clicked and I wanted an official t-shirt so I clicked on there's the official t-shirt I buy it it was forty seven dollars that's not bad it does have the mug shot and it says on their um I will not surrender I think that's the one yeah no surrender or I will not surrender so click on it after that and and I'll be honest it does take you to another page that says um for forty seven dollars uh we have to pay two dollars and 11 more cents uh you know for that to go through would you pay the two dollars and eleven cents I said yes clicked on that the next one was if you would like a flag it's thirty dollars I denied the next one if you want a coffee cup or whatever I denied the next one I couldn't resist it was fifteen dollars it was a certificate with his signature and our name on it uh that we are Mega fans blah blah blah I click on the 15 more click then three more would you like did I denied but it was like the same it's the same principle behind like serial killer Madness you know let me finish so I get to the end dad and I we're not gonna say the name of the bank don't yeah no we're not no people will know we have money they're nowhere not oh God damn okay okay there you go We're not gonna say then we're not gonna have it there much longer we're not going to say the name of the bank but what we have a very very small um a credit limit on a very tiny card at this bank to use for things like this and like if we go to a hotel or whatever you know small amounts to put on this card so at the end I click on my card click click click there were three things I bought the next day and I did I got a receipt for the T-shirt only back from Trump's campaign I thought that's odd the next day I get an email and then I called the bank I almost said it oh my God we're not going to say the name of the bank and it said we're going to freeze your account this is not um how to State this we wanted to make sure that this was that you authorized this purchase to a MAG Mega account yeah blah blah blah they were gonna freeze my card because they hate Trump no it's because it's because all of his [ __ ] is associated with scams now let's move on to one more question on this topic no no that bank hates him and some of my other friends the exact same thing happened shut up once you told them that you authorized the expense that went right through and your card's fine they were trying to intimidate you not you their [ __ ] bank to support Trump that's not true doesn't care where you spend your money as long as you're keeping it in their Bank yes they do it's a it's awoke yeah I've had other friends tell me other stories we will be there very long all right Bank of America is a woke ass Bank let me ask one more question about this um Trump obviously can't admit guilt in any of these uh criminal charges that are brought against him so he's gonna have to go to trial he's he's pled not guilty in all of these things these are going to go to trial over the course of this next year as it's hundreds of Millions presidential election let me ask you this what happens if he has found guilty of treason or sedition and he's prohibited from running I think uh my my money turns into lead I think I'll help I will start dropping Democrats uh one of his trials the federal trial you don't think I will I'll kill the [ __ ] they did just set the date Chad March 3rd like this it's either go my way then Dad let's say that this goes down let's say he gets found guilty in this first trial and they say as a result of this he can no longer run for president if that happens you're going to do what just start walking to the street and start shooting American Revolution number two wait anybody but where is that is going to down no then we're that [ __ ] we wait and see what everybody else does though dad [ __ ] there will be other people other than us that will start this is gonna blow wide open you got no idea how 80 million people with guns are gonna erect on this it's gonna blow wide open all right that will not be the main character but there will be other people that are but I'll be standing there pulling my trigger okay okay you [ __ ] count on it let's move on to our second topic the Republican debate last Wednesday the first Republican primary debate took place in Milwaukee Wisconsin with eight presidential candidates former vice president Mike Pence the current governor of Florida Ron DeSantis former governor of South Carolina South Carolina Senator Tim Scott former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie entrepreneur of Vivek ramaswemi North Dakota governor Doug burgum and former Arkansas governor ASA Hutchinson Trump was the only candidate who met the donor and polling thresholds to be absent from this debate the beta the debate attracted more than 11 million viewers on Fox News which is lower than average the GOP debates in 2015 and 2016 got an average well it's not half uh here's the actual number that I'm going to read to you right now the GOP 2 million the GOP debates in 2015 and 2016 got an average of 15.4 million viewers on the main broadcast the consensus among pundits seemed to be that Rama Swami came away the winner of the Night by accusing his competitors of being bought and paid for by lobbyists and positioning himself as an outsider to the corrupt political system Washington much in the same way Trump did in 2016. the debate had no effect on Trump's lead over to Santos in the polls with Trump maintaining a 44 point margin the next GOP debate is set for September 27th in California mom is Dad there first of all has he left restroom okay restroom break did you and Dad watch the debates well we had Trump on X on my iPad going at the same time that's going to be our next topic by the way is Trump on X at the same time the debate was on the big TV so we mainly watched um on X but then we watched the review of some of that later that was on TV Haley did you watch the debate I think I was moving Roman or some [ __ ] but I've seen like all the talked about Clips like just in my feed here and there so I've seen some of it I watched the entire thing uh and then I watched the entire X Trump thing with Tucker Carlson as well so I've seen it all let me ask you this Mom and Dad if Dad can hear you um did you like anyone in this debate field any of these eight candidates no none um Nikki Haley came across kind of strong but um but no there's no way none of them can stand tall with Trump no okay uh did you like anybody on there no quite frankly I wouldn't put any I wouldn't trust any of them in my cabinet he said none of them in the cabinet or Administration anymore either you know that Rama Swami I kind of liked him and I said that a couple yeah podcasts again well but I found out he took saurus money toward I think it was a scholarship one or for schooling that he needed if he takes Source money hell no no yeah I mean he came away I think pretty largely as the winner of the debate I think most people thought that he he was the or at least most of the pundits that we're talking about thought that he won it by taking kind of like a a hard-line stance saying all these [ __ ] are bought and paid for on this stage I'm the only one who's not taking money and they're all old and [ __ ] and I'm new and young and we need new ideas in Washington um do you think 90 000 90 000 from Soros he took yeah they only spent a few minutes in this debate talking about Trump and the fact that he wasn't there and it got kind of contentious there were there were some things that came up like did Pence do the right thing in verifying the electors and Chris Christie was on his side when that happened there were audible booze from the audience right so anything that was said against Trump even from that audience yes and Trump is not there was getting booze so do you think it was a mistake for them to talk about Trump in this debate or should they have talked about Trump more Haley foreign I don't know I I maybe not at all maybe don't talk about them at all eliminate him from the entire [ __ ] process he's not there I feel like if he's not there we're not talking about him we're not thinking about him so you see all the other people that you have to choose from he's not one of them so I would prefer that they just didn't talk about him at all interesting mom I I was thinking about him I was thinking how smart he was not to be up there amongst all the other dummies I thought he was very smart I mean I wanted him to be up there but then after I thought about it he is the smart one you know he's the smart one for not being there well it certainly turned out that way because as as we said it didn't affect his poll numbers at all to not be there I thought and what I was kind of expecting out of this debate is that at least one or two candidates would take a hard line I am against Trump stance so that they would then be positioned as Trump's number one enemy so he will then talk about them right no one really did that it seemed like they were scared to and it seemed like they were tiptoeing around it they didn't want to say anything bad about Trump and I thought it came off in my opinion uh it made all of them look weak like this he has a [ __ ] shot and nobody cares yeah they did nobody can't like they don't give a [ __ ] they're still gonna vote for him no matter what he does it doesn't matter he's just he's always gonna be the front runner and what it does is it makes us more animate you don't get that no I get that yeah we have hurt hey people we have turned the corner people hey people you want I don't even think it matters there didn't even need to be a debate I don't think there is anyone else in the running Donald Trump has proven he's been [ __ ] arrested mug shots like all this [ __ ] happening and they still don't care they're gonna vote for him it's the only the only debate and if we don't win we're gonna take everybody the only debate that's good matter would be Trump against Biden and we know that won't happen because they won't let what like if they're actually he gets Chosen and they he's just like no I'm not gonna [ __ ] debate no Trump would Biden won't did you not hear uh I won't make it to know there I heard I mean I read this somewhere I heard that [ __ ] about to fall down on two inches Trump's wife is a little ticked off because Trump said he could let Baron take on Biden and it would be a good debate and that's not nice no hang on one sec I want to get to something you just said dad you said Biden would fall down on two inches of grass and we're not to this topic yet but that's a phrase directly used by Donald Trump interview that's right so you're just parroting exactly what he's saying that's correct now you're catching on um all right [ __ ] okay let's uh let's move on to our Common Ground we've gotten heated up here as it always gets on this podcast but I like to take a break in the middle talk about something that's going on in pop culture that has nothing to do with politics see how we're all feeling about it this week uh beloved game show host of The Price is Right Bob Barker passed away Haley did this have any personal effect on it I mean I don't really care I watched the prices right when I was little like I'd stay home sick from school and you know it was real time TV with commercials and [ __ ] so I was pretty [ __ ] good at naming the prices so I enjoyed the show but I don't really [ __ ] care okay Mom Dad as dad was walking out it's like kitty cat Annie said it affected him he's very sad because he used to he watched it every day and he did uh he is the one that brought it up to me in fact I forget where I went I was out walking or something came home and he told me about it it's sad he like longest run of any game time show in the history of the United States didn't he I mean what was he in uh Happy Gilmore Happy Gilmore that movie also yeah the price is wrong [ __ ] um it affected me to some degree anytime a celebrity like this dies who's kind of a fixture in some piece of American pop culture anytime they die it means in the end of an era and it means that that kind of TV that kind of person doesn't really exist anymore maybe you could make the argument Pat Sajak is still around on Wheel of Fortune but I don't think that's the same kind of thing you know didn't he also do Truth or Consequences that was before the prices right or maybe another show yeah and see you guys don't even know that show either yeah he was a good guy yeah we don't know if he was a good guy or not but rest in peace yes he was 99 99 years old too almost uh let's now move on to our third topic we were talking about Trump's interview with Tucker Carlson on X which you guys watched on Wednesday night Trump strategically avoided the first Republican debate to do an interview with Tucker Carlson on X on Truth social uh media Trump wrote quote the Tucker Carlson interview with me was a blockbuster could hit 200 million views and more Trump leader claimed that it was in quotes the biggest video on social media ever more than double the Super Bowl for context the 2023 Super Bowl was watched by more than 115 million viewers on Carlson's interview posts on X the views metric displayed 236 million views in the first 24 hours being posted but that's not actually how many views it received the real number in that 24-hour window was 14.8 million views the views metric currently shown on X it displays it simply as views but that doesn't take into account people watching the video that's how many people have looked at that post so Trump's numbers are completely wrong here the interview itself was Meandering to say the least at times leading to a prolonged conversation about shower drains when it was on topic that topic was usually how terrible his competitors are Trump used a variety of insults directed at the Republicans and Democrats alike in his standard fashion no policy was discussed at all in the interview uh nor could did he clearly State why he would be a good choice for the office of President um Mom and Dad you said you did watch the interview Haley did you watch it no I didn't none of it I listen I've had a lot of [ __ ] happen the last couple of weeks one of them was not watching Donald Trump on X with Tucker Carlson I feel like again it's a moot point he's gonna be the [ __ ] nominee like it doesn't matter he could say whatever he [ __ ] wants when they start talking about shower drinks I was like wow this is some [ __ ] interesting [ __ ] they're just like for whatever reason doesn't matter multiple minutes talking about shower drains I'm like yeah what the [ __ ] am I watching what is this okay nobody cares about his policies Mom and Dad don't give a [ __ ] about his policies yeah we much very much give a [ __ ] okay here's the deal that and you don't that interview that's the problem uh that interview to me I did want to hear more more of of some of the things that I thought uh he was going to ask him so I think the interview was a little bit I'd call it soft kind of soft totally yeah but but it did what it was supposed to do it uh showed that he was not gonna be in the other debate it's squash Donald Trump is an Entertainer he is a [ __ ] Entertainer and that's why you like him let me tell you something the RNC is finished they're going to get sued to death now yeah they do everybody's suing it why didn't they let that one guy up there Ronald McDaniels is a [ __ ] Rhino just like McConnell why didn't they let that one man debate he had all of the because they said that uh the one debate that he was using doesn't count oh the rest of you simply well she made that up did you know that Chad there was a man she she and the RNC are being sued by four people what was the name you're gonna lose them all what was the name of them he's a black guy I forget his name I haven't heard about this yeah Larry Elder he did not get to be up there and he should have he's suing them both yeah RNC and McDaniel all right well I mean I hope he wins I hope the RNC does collapse let me ask you this as viewers of this Trump Carlson interview what was your main takeaway from it are you asking me yeah I know what I want to say let me get kitty my main takeaway from it is the two most powerful people in politics are on our side who are those people Tucker Carlson and Donald Trump you think Tucker Carlson's one of the most powerful people in politics I absolutely do pretty big yeah okay interesting I think he controls more votes than any Democrat hmm okay what what you heard me Joe Biden won the last election so he doesn't control more than Joe Biden no you're wrong that's wrong he stole the last election and it was stolen and they're not going to get away with it this is this is one of the um shoot the [ __ ] if they try to get away with it this time one of the arguments that Trump brought up in that uh interview with Carlson was what you're saying stolen election the Democrats lie and they steal and they cheat and they see the way they commit why don't the Republicans do that are you saying the Democrats are better at politics than the Republicans no they're better at cheating but they're not going to be the politics you know why you you know why you're confusing all this [ __ ] it doesn't matter whether they cheat or not if we don't win this election we're going to shoot our way to the White House okay okay doesn't matter whether Trump's in jail or not he won't be in jail five minutes after we take these pieces of [ __ ] to the grave and we will to the Grave all right let me ask you this is listening to me Eric if we don't win America First we're going to kill you [ __ ] okay all right in in this killing plan that that you're laying out let's say that it does come to that let's say that Trump gets um you know found guilty he's probably pledge 20 dead Okay okay so you personally pledge 2010. do you think that the Democrats that you're killing in this war will simply line up to get shot do you think they'll be fighting back no because they're [ __ ] okay they'll Run for the [ __ ] Hills so so this is a complete fantasy that you've got let me no it's not fantasy let me tell you what's going on right now yeah all I Envision is like was doing that like what what were the words be quiet not specifically there's a lot more hate it's a dangerous thing well it is because Tucker Carlson asked him if you thought there would be violence maybe I don't know we hate you [ __ ] okay uh do you believe 236 million people watch this yeah yeah but I'm telling you they didn't know why 36 people 236 million people looked at that post on Twitter on X they didn't watch the video it doesn't matter there's 80 million guys with guns that are going to use all right I don't give a [ __ ] about how the viewership was what I didn't understand there was a lot y'all don't know what's coming I've been trying to warn you for months yeah God it's just another lie upon another lie like that's the point okay everyone what were you about don't get the situation that you live in it's not going to be up to whether you like Biden or not you are going to push the white supremists and and we are you're a white supremist yes yeah you're what I mean this is my [ __ ] show type [ __ ] you're not doing anything what's gonna happen next he's gonna be on news Maps when you have your debate okay my thought came back on on acts before uh Trump got on there with that interview they had little blurbs like and Tucker Carlson was asking them certain things none of that I really there were like some really good questions and I didn't see those questions then in the real interview so was that like a teaser and no they probably cut the [ __ ] out because Trump had full final edit over there for sure yeah [ __ ] answer them doesn't know how to [ __ ] answer what what no one of them was was are you afraid for your life and your family's life I thought and then I didn't see that in the interview yeah that was one of the questions I guarantee you in order for taco Carlson to get him to do that interview Trump got final approval over the edit and he had his own people cut that together to make him look as good as possible and leave all the bad [ __ ] out that's why those live debates are important because when you're standing up there at that Podium they're not editing that [ __ ] it's live right and they may get the questions ahead of time or know vaguely what they're going to be so they can prepare and all that [ __ ] but if somebody throws you a [ __ ] curveball on that stage you got to be able to [ __ ] handle it or you get killed from boxes to walking I'm talking about from the other candidates because they were sparring with each other a little bit that's what you're watching those live debates for to see how these candidates handle the pressure of being on a live stage with each other etc etc Trump has avoided all of that so we have no idea what he would do in the you don't have any idea do you know exactly what he's doing when he debates to destroy the deep State one way or the other right you're gonna impeach him or kill him but here's the part too when one one or the other will happen when he debated uh Biden last time he brought up uh the computer from hell he brought up a crackhead and Biden stood right up there in line and said no that's all false you're making things up and that was the truth he's a better politician and being indicted so many times even even Democrats are tired of it totally I don't think anybody likes the current state of American politics or anyone in the government I think no for the most part over 50 of the American population hates everyone involved in our current governmental State they hate all of the [ __ ] systems for-profit news media I think we all hate all of it it's all [ __ ] we all can see that and it's just a matter of what team you're gonna [ __ ] play for and how enthusiastic you're going to be about doing that you guys are on the red team and you [ __ ] love it Haley and I are on the blue team begrudgingly we don't want to be here either um you're gonna vote for Biden then whoever the Democrat is I'll have to yes Haley are you effing kidding me you're gonna vote for Biden who else would I vote for Donald Trump no to save America well we're buying you're voting for a Bullet to the Head oh my God not from Dad but he'll come in and get us have now flown 150 War aircraft into Taiwan airspace I've been reading about it yeah they're getting Mass ready to take a shot at Taiwan before dummy Falls and kills himself and dummy will lay down and say go on in and then we we're then you're really gonna be laughing what happened to America First why do you care about Taiwan I don't what because because of that another China takes at that point Trump we're going to take over what Biden's gonna go dead all right and so is horse face Harris all right speaking of going dead let's move on to our fourth and final topic there are a bunch of mass shootings this weekend we have talked about mass shootings so we're blue in the face on this show so I wanted to uh zero in on another thing which I think might lead to an interesting conversation that is also about someone getting killed in a hate crime a 66 year old business owner in San Bernardino California named Ann Carlton was shot and killed after a dispute over an lgbtq plus pride flag on display outside her store officials said that during an initial altercation at Carlton's clothing store a male suspect quote made several disparaging remarks about a rainbow flag that stood outside the store before shooting Carlton he then fled the scene deputies were able to locate the suspect who was armed and he was shot dead after a confrontation with the officers an lgbtq plus group in nearby Lake Arrowhead sir Carlton did not identify as a member of the lgbtq plus Community but spent time helping and advocating for everyone she was defending her Pride Flags placed in front of her shop on the night of the shooting the group said and law enforcement agencies in several states have been investigating the destruction of rainbow Pride flags as potential hate crimes in recent years as hate crimes generally have been on the rise in America since 2016. um let me ask you this dad whose side do you take in this incident the guy that shot the woman okay Mom oh my God uh no nobody should shoot anybody all right Haley I know who said you take as a small business owner who puts Pride flags on display I just made a post about this on my page um and I have been threatened in my own place of business uh so as a business owner lgbtq Community definitely on the side of the business owner right so Dad you're on the side of the guy who shot her if Haley was shot for putting up a pride flag or any kind of political or social statement type uh flag or sign or whatever in her business would you feel that that was a Justified killing no because my daughter I'd kill the [ __ ] that shot her okay but this is why I like that but here's how I look at it all over probably about a million of those people one for one is great A million people what a cat what a kept the Jews out of Auschwitz what I don't know what I'm confused by what you're saying here can you just explain this a little bit further God damn what what's happening is he still there are you saying that if every Jewish person person fought back like Jewish person per Nazi they would have never been sent to Auschwitz one for one there were six or eight million Jews killed the German Army had one million soldiers that's what I'm saying yours your percentage of the population is so [ __ ] small yeah a one for one exchange is perfect but this was a woman like Mom's age who owned a clothing store who did not identify as lgbtq plus was just simply waving a rainbow flag I told you that yesterday do you think there should be any kind of law passed that prohibits putting up signs like this in places of business why no I mean any types of signs that have political messaging or social messages [ __ ] out of the [ __ ] population you're either going to become dead or communists okay and I'll take dead all right um so I'm for I'm for the man who did the shooting okay very interesting how'd he did it to Haley I'd be the first one to kill him so Haley in your mind is the only person to be allowed to put up uh signs of his nature sorry Haley's got what she's got her dad as a backup defense I know I get why are are you I didn't think that you are anti-lgbtq plus like I thought you were okay with gay people and [ __ ] I am well that's what that Flag represents okay I'm okay with gay people I'm not okay with transgender why because it's different they chose to change their identity but okay so you don't think that gay people then choose their sexuality no I don't know and now I'm not going to get into that because it doesn't concern me then why get into trans issues because they chose to change themselves from men to women or they didn't what if there is no choice in that just as with uh whatever your sexual preference is you you don't have a choice in it no there is a choice you dumb [ __ ] if you're born in a a body that doesn't suit whatever gender you feel you are you don't have that choice you know what that's called tough [ __ ] [Laughter] Jesus Christ well there you have it I I was very curious to get into this topic because I thought dad I actually thought you too mom might side with the shooter and indeed at least dad did no I would not God geez now but now if it was Haley that got to be dead man walking okay well I mean the cops already killed him they killed him within 24 hours of him doing the same time okay um so again I just want to you know say with with a caveat here there were a bunch of mass shootings this week and the reason I didn't want to put those in this uh episode is because I wanted to talk specifically about this issue as I thought it related more personally to our family as Haley you are essentially this woman let me ask you this Haley did you not get a text from me when I read that Haley and what did I say yeah I said look at this be very careful yeah I uh I've built this platform of like combined Facebook Instagram of like almost 100 000 followers I kind of what's the what was the point in building this platform if I can't [ __ ] give my business my voice and part of of my voice is uh you know simply stating equality for everyone I have lots of friends [ __ ] we even have family members that are part of the lgbtq plus Community uh it's kind of essential that you let them know you're an ally so I live in a pocket a very conservative DFW um and I have received death threats I've received like you know Crank phone calls [ __ ] weird cut and paste like letters in the mail like serial killer style yes people have photoshopped my face on [ __ ] like I have all kinds of crazy [ __ ] wait a minute you got letters like people are cutting [ __ ] yes they took Letters Out of newspapers and magazines exactly what I'm saying I've Had The Flower Mound police come in and get like all of my information just in case somebody decides to [ __ ] [ __ ] up at night like we've been through it for the last five years um you know but ultimately on the other side of that are uh parents coming in and telling me you know like my kid was bullied so bad at school we had to pull them out and like you're one of the only places in Flower Mound that we come that we feel safe with their identity being exposed you know what I'm saying so dad always says like the one percent but I would say the majority of our customers are these people uh so it's important it's important to let especially young adults know that they're not [ __ ] alone in this town that we live in yes and they're are very [ __ ] mayor you know the mayor of Flower Mound is a piece of [ __ ] the [ __ ] governor of Texas is a piece of [ __ ] like all this legislation legislation is being passed against this group of people so to know that there is some kind of a safe space in this town that you live in where you're essentially bullied on a daily [ __ ] basis is kind of important yeah but that's all good and everything and tell the guy on the other side that's the wild crazy guy comes to get you then what well I'm I mean you know this about me I do not fear [ __ ] I have lived a life being Fearless since I was a [ __ ] child and nothing's gonna change that if they silence you they [ __ ] win she'll [ __ ] her pants okay huh [ __ ] or pants what's he talking about I I just perceive it as being I perceive it as being on the right side or the wrong side of History so if I just [ __ ] sell my cakes to people and put on a smile and like everything's [ __ ] rainbows and sunshine that's not real that's not authentic I have to be myself I have to voice my opinions I have to tell people who I am it's my [ __ ] business uh and I've created this environment where we see the majority of our customers are not [ __ ] [ __ ] you know like we found our people in this conservative area how are you going to protect yourself if someone comes in to get you put together I mean if somebody comes in to [ __ ] kill me I'm dead what do you mean I can't I don't anticipate it I'm not like okay today's the day I don't [ __ ] know I guess I [ __ ] die every day you said that you are are living a Fearless life always have always will are the people who work at your store feeling the same way when news like this pops up that A store owner was killed for uh putting a sign like this out are your co-workers your employees fearful do you have conversations about this I mean yeah we have conversation about it because it happens to us so and you feel weary you [ __ ] come in the back and you get me so we anytime we've had a confrontational customer it's always been like they walk in and you know they'll say something about is the owner here and you can tell they're agitated you can tell something's wrong they always come get me no one has ever just come in like guns are blazing so uh I think I think they all in essence are kind of learning to be Fearless through this um I have certainly witnessed young adults in my bakery kind of find themselves and find their voice just having worked in this environment which is something I'm kind of proud of yeah you know like when when you're helping Mentor people who kind of don't know who they are don't really know what they want to be in life who they want to be in life and you see them kind of stand up and rest the occasion uh I have an immense sense of pride in the young people that work University of North Carolina Chapel Hill have been asked to shelter in place new to an active shooter active shooter North Carolina that's happening right now yeah I mean Chapel Hill and the shooter is Chinese nice probably has an AR-15 um just like
