Welcome to the necessary conversation midweek edition. I'm Chad Kultgen with me is a very special guest for Wednesday episode my sister Haley pop and my mom here. Um today we're going to be talking about the Cornell 7 and everything that is going on around that. I have no clips. I just have information. This obviously has become the arguably the biggest news in the country over the past 48 hours or so.
Haley, you brought it up on Sunday. We talked about it for I don't know a minute or something, but I wanted to do an in-depth discussion on it today. So Mom, are you aware of this?
Yes, and on Sunday when we did the Diddys, I didn't know Haley was bringing that to a Diddy and I was bringing the Ling Ling stuff which was stupid. I didn't know Haley was bringing the stuff that we need to talk about today. So
Okay. Yeah. I do know about it. Yeah. I'm going to lay out the information that that we have so far as the story is breaking and then we can discuss it and then I have some other stuff to add to this later as the discussion continues. So this is what we know. A former Cornell University student identified as Jane Doe filed suit in mid-September of this year alleging she was raped for 7 hours by seven different men at the Kai Phi fraternity house in October 2024 after being pressured into snorting ketamine, smoking marijuana, and drinking al- alcohol and that she became completely incapacitated during the
assault. The district attorney places the date at October 19th, 2024. The lawsuit the current lawsuit named seven fraternity members Matthew Ingalls, Jonathan Newell, Winston Lee Gilia Lopez, Diego Sarabia, Scott Norris, and Scott Kretchmar. None of them have been criminally charged and reporting has revealed that five of the seven were allowed to write essays as their punishment at Cornell. District Attorney Matthew Van Houten says the lawsuit differs from what Jane Doe originally told police, he said her November 2024 sworn statement did not allege she was drugged against her will or gang-raped, and instead described the drug use and sexual conduct as voluntary and consensual.
Doe's attorneys have countered that off that officers failed to follow up on key evidence, including a fraternity group chat that included in the complaint that was included in the complaint. Jonathan Newell sent a message to that group chat that over 50 other men were also in encouraging encouraging other men to make their way to the room where Jane Doe was being raped that read free expletive.
We all know what it is. It's It's been all over the news. Cornell's statements have come from Kyle Kimball, uh vice president for the University of Relations rather than a dean. The university says a hearing panel issued sanctions, including expulsions and suspensions, and the essay writing was not the only consequence offered. Um back in 2024, according to her lawsuit, Jane Doe reported this incident to Cornell University Police on November 8th, 2024, a few weeks a few weeks after the assault. That report led to two separate things happening. The criminal side was the DA of Tompkins County did not file any charges against any of these guys,
saying that uh the lawsuit now is telling like a dramatically different story, but found no credible reason to file charges. And the university they suspended the Kai Phi chapter and the seven accused students who were afforded the opportunity to mitigate their conduct, quote, by submitting essays to Cornell. So, that is where it stands. This happened 2 years ago. The cops declined to do anything to any of these guys. The university expelled two of them, suspended the others, let them write an essay, and now I'm sure all of you have seen the um you know, all over social media people saying, "Oh, this one works for Wells
Fargo. You might want to fire him. This one works for her. You might want to fire him." So, my first question is to you, Mom. What is your reaction to this story, to the information we now have?
Well, wait. There's Sorry, go ahead. There's one more bit of information. Um her parents wanted to pull her out of school for that semester, obviously. And Cornell refused to give them their tuition back and said, "Go [ __ ] yourself."
Jesus Christ. So, they did not allow her to get her money back and stay home and not go for a semester. Yeah. Okay. Mom, thoughts, feelings?
It's sickening that people didn't listen to her and dropped the ball and didn't go forward with the information that she had given the DA, the police. In fact, she even went to the police one time and from that point forward, nothing. It makes me sick. I know if that was Haley or my grandbabies, um I know what your father would do. He would probably be in prison over this.
Um it's sickening. It I I think everyone involved now that dropped the ball, that didn't do anything about it, should have to go to trial. Of course, all the men involved should have to go to trial. Even the guy that put it on Snap. They all need to be on trial and due process and put them away in prison, everyone that did this to her.
Okay. Sorry, Haley, you're going to say something? I think what you have always failed to realize, like when we bring up any kind of sexual assault allegations or anything that's happened to women like this. There is something bigger at hand than just the cops who failed the woman, then, you know, the school that failed the woman. It's systemic violence against women, and it starts with things like I mean, it's the patriarchy. It's what I always tell you. Like I'm always screaming, "Fuck the patriarchy." This is that. This is men protecting men who violate women. It There's always a I tell you all the time, like one in
three women is sexually assaulted in her lifetime. Um women are murdered every [ __ ] day by their partners. Like this is a systemic problem, and it starts at the tippy top with your president who has already been accused and convicted of raping a woman. And in the in the [ __ ] with Billy Bush where he says, "I grab them by the [ __ ] I do whatever I want." This is that behavior
[snorts] magnified, and it's because they can get away with it time and time again. It is a very [ __ ] sick problem with our world.
Yeah, so let's get into exactly that. Mom, do you think this Cornell 7 thing that is now unfolding do you think Trump is in any way linked to it?
No, I do not. The president of the United States [ __ ] said out loud, "I can grab them by the [ __ ] do whatever I want." How does that not feed into this? These young men at this [ __ ] college hear that, see that. Well, we can do it, too. [ __ ] it.
I've just never thought of it that way. Well, think of it that way because in that group chat, almost the exact same phrase is used to entice other guys to come in there and partake in this horrific [ __ ] crime.
It's demeaning. And it comes from the [ __ ] tippy top. And even Pete Hegseth, there are people in our cabinet who have been accused and convicted of rape.
I I have the information here. And now you have these young men doing the same [ __ ] And not just seven, 57. Because if you're complicit and you know that shit's going on, they've now posted the text, the group chat, the Snapchat. There are people in that Snapchat well aware of what's going on. Hell yeah, glad I'm part of this [ __ ] fraternity.
If you're complicit and you know that's going on, [ __ ] you. You go to jail, too. I agree with that. Yes. But I I I don't What do I want to say? Mesh it together with with our government. I think for a long I mean this has happened to women through centuries.
you something else. The overturning of Roe v. Wade. Yes. [ __ ] women. You can die on the [ __ ] table. We don't care about you. It's a systemic problem and violence against women. We couldn't even buy credit cards. We couldn't even [ __ ] vote. They perceive us as less than. And it starts with our [ __ ] government.
Mom, want me just go through a list of current people in our United States government. And we're going to start at the top. Donald Trump, found guilty by two juries of sexually assaulting E. Jean Carroll at New York City department store in the mid-90s. There have been no criminal charges filed. He has had over 30 women accuse him of sexual assault. No criminal charges filed. He has been in the Epstein files more than anyone else other than Epstein. No criminal charges filed. Pete Hegseth, Secretary of Defense, now Secretary of War. A staff member of the California Federation of Republican Women accused him of sexually assaulting her in 2017
after he spoke at a conference. He paid her an undisclosed amount under a non-disclosure agreement. No criminal charges filed. Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Secretary of Health and Human Services. Former family nanny, Eliza Cooney, accused him of groping her in 1999 when she was 23 years old. He is uh only person in this group that I'm about to mention who actually apologized, but no criminal charges filed.
Brett Kavanaugh, Supreme Court Justice. During his 2018 confirmation, Christine Blasey Ford testified that he sexually assaulted her at a high school gathering in early 1980s. Deborah Ramirez separately alleged he exposed himself to her at a Yale party. Kavanaugh denied both allegations, no criminal charges filed. Cory Mills, House of Representatives. Two sexual misconduct allegations against him have been made in public. One was a woman accusing him of attacking her at in his home.
Separately, a a Florida judge issued a restraining order against him to protect another former partner who said he threatened to send out nude photos. No criminal charges filed.
[snorts] In the Senate, Representative Chuck Edwards from uh North Carolina. The Ethics Committee recommended he be censured after concluding he engaged in persistent inappropriate conduct toward two young female staffers. No criminal charges filed. Representative Jimmy Gomez uh from California. He's under ethics investigation over accusations he kissed a House aide at a 2023 party. Justice Clarence Thomas. Anita Hill accused him of sexual harassment during his 1991 confirmation. He denied it, no criminal charges filed. Finally, Eric Swalwell just resigned from Congress in April 2026 after two women accused him of rape and three others accused him of sexual harassment. No criminal charges filed. And despite several names being
revealed uh of Epstein's co-conspirators in the Epstein files, no investigations in America have even been launched by Trump and his DOJ of any of the men involved, including Trump, obviously.
So So you're saying Cornell is doing this because of all of that? No. Well, I mean, partially, yes. I believe Cornell is doing this because someone dropped the ball. Maybe some of those kids have parents that are alums. You know, they did the wrong thing.
When you're saying someone dropped the ball, what does that mean? You're not understanding that these men have learned this behavior in our culture because [ __ ] like Donald Trump and his [ __ ] cronies in office exist. Because for [ __ ] historically men have just been maiming, murdering, raping women and getting away with it. That is what women mean when they say [ __ ] the patriarchy. This is what we mean. Chad doesn't have to carry Mason keys when he walks to his car at night.
I do. Do you understand the difference that we are raised to [ __ ] fear men? Because they hurt us. I was not raised that way. I've never really feared men. Um I mean if I go to a store by myself, I look around my surroundings before I go in, but I've never feared
You walk to your car at night by yourself without fear? I never go at night. I'm old. Old people don't go places at night. They're in bed. I mean
Well, most women do. Most women have to travel in packs. Most women have to look over their shoulders. Women send out their location when they go on new dates because they're afraid they could get [ __ ] raped or murdered.
Well, that's a different world than what I grew up in. That's what I'm trying to tell you. It's not. The thing that I'm I mean I I would argue probably it was worse uh back in your day than it is now and it's real [ __ ] bad now. This list that I just read to you of all these politicians and all these these things that I've read are like national news stories. None of these guys have been charged with anything.
And it starts with Trump Just hang on. It starts with Trump coming onto the political scene bragging about sexually assaulting women at will with no repercussion. That is such a part of the fabric of American culture now that these guy I mean this only happened two years ago. So Trump had already been in the political eye for 8 years roughly. He had been president for four of those.
It It's already like seeped into the culture. You Can you see how that that works? He's the biggest celebrity in the country, in the world potentially. Bragging about sexually assaulting women. That's how and why he gets elected. Now, I mean that laundry list I read, two people in his cabinet have been accused of sexual assault, no charges. One of them, Pete Hegseth, paid the woman off to say nothing. Had to pay her.
Do you do that? Do you pay people off if there's nothing to see here, no crime? No. So, that All of those news stories are available for everybody to read. It's It's out there every day just kind of permeating how these these guys in college are thinking.
I agree with both of you. Terrible, terrible, terrible, but I don't think you can just zero in and say it's Trump's fault. Some of those things you read were way back when. They were further further in the past.
of his story, which we all now know currently. It's not like he brags about sexual assault to Billy Bush and whatever that tape was, 2012 or something. It's not that he just does it then and oh, it's it's put away. We never remember that. It's a part of who he is. And we now have a guy sitting in the [ __ ] White House who just has decades of these incidents, of being accused of sexual assault, of being [ __ ] found guilty twice unanimously by two nine-person juries.
Of raping E. Jean Carroll. And then you have an entire movement of people excusing it. And so, when you see seven men gang raping a woman on college campus, you have to ask yourself, why are why are all of these people excusing it? It's because people like Majah look to a [ __ ] president who is a rapist, they're like, it's no big deal.
Am I saying that? No. It is a big deal. You have. You have denied that he raped E. Jean Carroll. You've denied it.
Do you accept that at this point? I I never fully believed her. I'm sorry. fully believe Jane Doe of Cornell University? Yes, I do.
So, what's the difference? I don't know. I guess um I saw pictures of E. Jean Carroll and different clips and she was found
nothing. He was found guilty. By a jury. Like I said, I never really believed her all the way. But I'm telling you a jury believed her twice. The Supreme Court upheld it. They said, "Yes, he raped E. Jean Carroll. Pay her the money."
Okay, I'll give you that. No, you don't have to give us anything. This is not a debate. We're trying to get you Huh?
Yeah, it kind of is. No, we're trying to open your eyes to understand like why the world is such [ __ ] right now and it starts with people like Donald Trump who actively rape women and get away with it. And so now we have all these pieces of [ __ ] at Cornell that did the same thing. And not just the seven but 50 other men who just stood by and let it happen.
Like can you [ __ ] imagine? Like if I'm in college and I find some guy passed out drunk, you know, high on ketamine, what am I doing? I'm going to make sure he's okay and call the [ __ ] hos- like take him to the hospital. You know, the difference between how men and women react to situations is [ __ ] so different. Men immediately think, "Oh, I'm going to sexually assault her." Why?
Cuz our president gets away with it. Because historically men just get away with it. And it's not just the sexual assault Trump bragged about and all these other people in his cabinet and all throughout our government that have been embroiled in these things. I I just want to read you a list of every time Trump has demeaned or dismissed a woman in the news. 2015 and 2016, when it began, Megyn Kelly. She's got blood coming out of her whatever. Katy Tur.
He repeatedly singled her out at rallies calling her "little Katie" and a third-rate reporter. First term, 2017 through 2021. Cecilia Vega, ABC, 2018 at a press conference told her, "I know you're not thinking, you never do." Abby Phillip, November 2018, he told her, "What a stupid question is that?" Uh we've got November 2016, he called a reporter he called her this reporter's question about white nationalism such a racist question and he told her to be nice, "Don't be threatening." April Ryan, 2018, told her to sit down and later called her a loser.
We've got a reporter from CBS in May of 2020, when she asked about COVID testing, he told her to ask China then abruptly ended the press conference. Kaitlan Collins, 2023 through 2024 now, he called her a nasty person during a CNN town hall. Rachel Scott, he called her nasty and horrible. Uh Catherine Lucy, this was the infamous this is 2025 now, uh said "quiet piggy" when she was asking about Jeffrey Epstein. Mary Bruce, he called her a terrible reporter and said she was horrible and insubordinate. Kaitie Rogers, in November of 2025, said she's ugly inside and out. Nancy Cordes, in 2025, "Are you
stupid? Are you a stupid person?" Kaitlan Collins again, "Always stupid and nasty. You need to smile more." Uh a CNN reporter in 2026 said, "Your question about Iran is a stupid question. You're a stupid person." Rachel Scott, in 2026, "One of the worst reporters and a horror show." July 2026, another reporter on Air Force One asks uh he was like, "Why are you asking such stupid questions?" Maggie Haberman 2026 called her an unattractive person both inside and out. Kristen Welker called her darling multiple times as he walked out of a White House press conference and, uh, Acayla Gardner most recently called her not a smart person
for asking about the rising cost of the White House ballroom. And then said, "Quiet. Quiet." So, he presents himself constantly as somebody who dismisses women, belittles them, brags about sexually assaulting them, and that is broadcast on every news network in the [ __ ] country. And it's okay. Nothing happens to him. There is no repercussion for it.
I hear what you're saying, but I just don't see how you're labeling what happened at Cornell labeling that to Trump. I mean, I heard everything you said. I understand what you and Haley are saying.
Yeah. There are other campuses where this has happened before, I'm sure. he perpetuates an ongoing problem. So, like we know that this is we know this has existed literally forever. Um, he perpetuates the problem by saying [ __ ] like, "I'm going to grab them by the pussy." And "Quiet, piggy." These things aren't things that you say to people, especially as president of the United States.
It's misogynist. When when Haley said the phrase that Donald Trump said, you were like, "Ugh." In a way that was like, "Why are you saying that?" You seemed offended by the phrase.
that. I'm not I'm not overlooking it. I don't like to hear it. Trump said it. We are not making that up. That is not our phrase. Your president said that phrase that you don't like to hear. And that it's like it's It's perfect encapsulation of why he is part of this, because he's generating the idea in American male culture right now that it is okay to do these things. Not only is it okay, you get [ __ ] rewarded for it. That was the October surprise that year, that Billy Bush tape. So, he was running into the campaign, he had started beating people in the primaries. People were
like, "What the [ __ ] Is Donald Trump really actually the nominee?" Yes, he is. That tape comes out. That was meant to sink him.
And I thought it would. Yes, everybody thought it would. But, I remember sitting in your kitchen that week for whatever reason. I think me and Haley were both back. I don't remember if it was just me visiting or maybe Haley was there. But, I remember talking to you about it, and I said, "Well, you're not going to vote for this [ __ ] piece of [ __ ] right?" And you're like, "Yes, I am.
That's just locker room talk." You dismissed it parroting the same line he said. And that is the problem. The dismissal of [ __ ] like this. You're like, "Oh, that's no big deal." And that's exactly what Cornell did. A woman got gang raped for 7 hours, and they said, "Just write essays, you're fine."
Not only you Just write essays, you're fine. They're working at [ __ ] banks and [ __ ] One guy's working at Wells Fargo. These are some of the biggest financial institutions in our country.
I think they are. He probably did now, of course, but like didn't for the past 2 years. And one of those men was going to be a doctor. Can you imagine having that piece of [ __ ] as your [ __ ] physician?
Yeah, it's sickening. I've said that. I agree with both of you. I thought that we were just going to talk about Fornell today. I didn't understand how you were going to throw everything else into it now.
It's because there's a It's like such a I I hear you. I understand. that like you can't All you have to do is just [ __ ] take it for what it's worth when you have a president saying these things.
Give me time to process, okay? like You let that [ __ ] sink in, though. Now, I'm trying. He a He is a convicted rapist twice, and the Supreme Court said, "Pay her, you [ __ ] rapist." And nobody's done [ __ ] about it. The Epstein files, you always talk about that [ __ ] They have not [ __ ] gone after anyone in the Epstein files because we have a corrupt, misogynist, [ __ ] government. And that is why these men at this college think they can get away with it. Because at the tippy top, they're getting away with it, promoting it.
I mean, Jesus, Donald Trump was like friends with Andrew Tate. Do you know anything about the manosphere? That also [ __ ] feeds into this [ __ ] There's an entire sect of men on the internet that literally just [ __ ] berate women, violence against women, like it is their [ __ ] goal in life because they're losers.
No, I didn't know that. There There was Do you remember when that story came out? It was It was this year, I think. There was a website that guys were going to where they were learning how to drug and rape their wives.
And post it and post it for other people to see. I live in the dark. I didn't know about that. Okay. The Well, let me ask you this question. Imagine, if you can, that you are one of these Cornell 7 guys or all of them or whatever. Why do you think they did it?
Because they're pieces of [ __ ] No. That's not it. They thought they could get away with it. There we go. They knew there would be no consequences. You don't do something like this if you think you're going to have to [ __ ] answer for it at any point. All of them knew nothing would happen. This was just a fun Saturday for them, and then they forget about it and move on.
Like I said, it's sickening. I hope they all get put in jail for Is it 25 years in New York or longer? I understand. We all hope that. We all hope that there are consequences for this. But I I am trying to get you to think about why is it happening in the first place? And it's not aberrant. This is not a one-time, "Oh my god, I can't believe this." This is happening everywhere on every college [ __ ] campus, in every place where there's a bunch of guys together and no women.
That is always [ __ ] dangerous. I wish my grandchildren were not in college. I don't think college is a good place to be for anybody right now. I really don't, for other reasons.
What I'm trying to get you to to understand here, or at least to be open to the idea of, is that this is not just about these seven guys. This is about a much larger thing happening in our country now, where this type of behavior is either overlooked or ignored or swept under the rug, instead of any consequence happening to any of them. And because it keeps happening again and again again and again, and and young men across this country are provided the examples of the president of the [ __ ] United States, the secretary of [ __ ] defense, all of these people in our government. I
mean, the president is like, it doesn't get any higher than that. And you see him engaged in open corruption, financial corruption, all kinds of criminal dealings, pay-for-play from all these different countries, and also engaged in the most extreme level of sexual assault that you can imagine. For decades, he has built a career on it, and nothing has happened. He's the president.
I thought we were going to just talk about the Cornell 7. I I we're not. I know. It's let me soak this in, okay?
[laughter] Soak it in. This is early Wednesday morning. We're doing this 6:00 Chad time. Uh-huh. Um I have to process this. Mom, you've had 10 years for it to soak in. This is the angle you guys were going to go with this. I really did not.
Angle? a [ __ ] angle. This is just reality. And it's not just America, it's all over the [ __ ] world. Like there are teachers in other countries who refused I think it's maybe Australia where boys are openly like saying terrible [ __ ] to their female teachers and so teachers are quitting left and right in the UK. There's that guy in France. He's the one who was drugging and raping his wife for like 10 years, filming it and having other men come in to do the same thing. Like this is a this is a problem worldwide. It's violence against women. It's always
existed. And now that we have a president just kind of like I do it, too. Everybody thinks it's okay. In my years growing up, I never felt that. I've never felt that as I was younger, as I was in college, as I was growing up, I've never felt what you're saying you feel.
That's fine. What about now? Yes, let it soak in a bit what you and Haley said to me and Cornell 7, they all need to rot in hell.
This is a problem with you. If you don't feel it, it doesn't exist. I feel it. I never felt that. You said I never felt that growing up. And I'm telling you I did. So validate it.
Yeah, I'm sorry you did. Thank you. I'm sorry. Just because you don't [ __ ] experience it doesn't mean it's not real. So you experienced that in college?
I walked to my car with keys in my hand or mace after biology lab every night. Yeah. Mom, I never went to fraternity parties because you know what that [ __ ] means. I think fraternities should be [ __ ] like get rid of them. Get rid of that [ __ ] There should be no [ __ ] frats ever.
Yeah. Mom, on this very show Haley told the story about Donald Trump sexually harassing her and her teenagers in a in an elevator saying like, "Oh, lovely girls, lovely girls."
I do believe her, but I didn't hear the story till later. You believe her now. When she first told the story on this very show, I don't remember how long ago that was. You can go back and
know it happened. Fine. I was on I was on No, people may not know this story. I was on a study tour in New York City and we were in the Trump Towers and the elevators opened and he I mean, we were teenagers. It was very clear like we're kids. "Lovely women, lovely women, you're all beautiful." [ __ ] like that. In an elevator at Trump Towers.
Yeah. And the first time she told the story about Donald Trump sexually harassing her and her fellow students, you and Dad dismissed it and said you didn't even think it happened.
Well, she never told us about it until on the podcast. Okay. And then she told you and you did not believe her. I do believe her. I'm sorry that happened.
I think you also have a problem with with what you perceive to be sexual harassment. What you perceive to be sexual harassment. If if a man comes up to me and and tells me like, "Oh, you're beautiful." [ __ ] off. You don't do that. You don't know me. You don't do that. You certainly don't touch people, but nobody wants that. Women are not We are not our sexuality, we are not like how I look. [ __ ] off. You don't get to say [ __ ] like that to women.
Okay. Why Why am I just reduced to the way that I look? Well, Why can't Why can't you just say, "Hi, nice to meet you"?
When and I know we've talked about this before, when I grew up, if you walked by and a man wolf-whistled at you, that was a compliment.
No, that's disgusting. Now you guys want to go take a gun and blow his head off. No. different. No, what what's different is you you cannot that is sexual harassment. You are reducing someone to their physical appearance, which also means you're sexualizing them, which also means around the corner maybe you are going to [ __ ] rape me. That's how I live my life. A cat call is threatening.
I'm sorry. Back in the day, when I used to walk by someone in high school and one of Dad's friends would say, "Wow, you look nice today, Mary Lou." That made me feel good. I never took it as sexual harassment and they were going to jump me later.
Well, you just said people whistling at you and hooting and hollering was a compliment. And I'm here to tell you that that's not that's not a compliment, that's threatening.
We do disagree on that. But Mom, the the thing you keep saying is like, "Whoa, back in my day or when I was growing up it wasn't like that." This also ties into one of the fundamental psychological strategies that Trump uses to get baby boomers to vote for him, make America great again. He hearkens back to this time where you think I guess sexual assault wasn't happening or sexual harassment didn't exist because anything a guy would say to him and it was fine and should be taken as a compliment. But he also wants to go back to that time because it was even I mean
and I'm I'm I'm not even saying that there are enough repercussions and accountability now, but back then it was even [ __ ] worse. He wants to go back to a time where you there aren't even investigations, where it's like you just wink at the cop and everything's fine, you know.
Wow, I I don't know. I don't know what to say about that. He even professes that I've had wink at me before. Yeah.
Take it as a compliment. No, that's gross. And he perpetuates it on on TV by telling Kate what's her name? Caitlyn Caitlin Collins.
Collins. Telling her to smile more. Smile you should smile more. Yeah. That's harassment. and you never smile enough. She's a [ __ ] reporter and I believe she was asking about the Epstein files, the survivors. When he said that to her. That was the question she was asking and he's like, "You're beautiful. You should smile more." And she's asking about his involvement in the biggest [ __ ] pedophile criminal conspiracy in American history.
Okay, you guys hit me hard today. That's for sure. [snorts] It's because this is such a There's gravity to this, you know? This is like a really [ __ ] serious topic. And getting you to understand like where it's coming from and not that it's just these seven men, but it's like all men.
Yes. If if you're not speaking out against this [ __ ] you are complicit. Like my feed is full of women sharing this left and right. Maybe one or two guys.
Mhm. Do you understand? No. Like like to truly be a feminist, you know, you believe in equality, you support [ __ ] women and that includes men. There are very few men in this world that support women. When you look at your social media feeds, when you look at your stories, the people sharing this story are [ __ ] women. You don't see a lot of men sharing it. They're just like quiet quiet about it and that's a problem.
Okay. And it's also in terms of its relation to Trump this is something that for a woman to vote for Donald Trump you either have to overlook this entire all of this, you have to accept it or disbelieve it, or in some way you have to make peace with the fact that he is a convicted rapist,
Mhm. has bragged about sexually assaulting women, has been accused by over 30 women of sexually assaulting them, and has filled his cabinet with other sexual assaulters. You have to in some way be okay with it. However you've done that. Like in your mind, how are you okay with any of it? What have you done to accept that?
I think that's why we keep that's why I keep bringing it up because I know you're not a terrible person. So in my brain, I'm like she's got to [ __ ] flick the switch at some point. Like you've got to recognize what's happening. Cuz I know you're not a terrible person. So you cannot vote for a terrible person like this. So I just keep holding out hope that one day it's going to click for you.
Yeah. And you'll accept that he's a rapist, that he's a convicted [ __ ] piece of [ __ ] Cuz he is. You heard him say it. You've You've The Supreme Court has said so. Like you've got all of the [ __ ] cards on the table. You just got to [ __ ] acknowledge.
How do you get around that? That he came into the political sphere by bragging about sexually assaulting women at will. He's been accused by over 30 women of sexual assault. He's been been found guilty in a civil court of rape twice. And he dismisses and belittles all these women reporters all the time. It It happens like every week. How do you dismiss all of that?
I just think it's all the people that hate him that bring it all up, I guess. I don't know. seen the clips of him saying "Quiet piggy." And And he's the one who said who bragged about sexually assaulting women to Billy Bush. Nobody hated him or or brought that up. He said it of his own volition. Unprompted.
I just don't see yet I hear what you both said, the connection that he is the reason this happened at Cornell. We're not saying he's the reason.
it happened at Cornell, those are bad men who had probably no good parent upbring- bringing and their parents maybe did the same. And um then no one justified what happened, so they dropped the ball. And
What? We just live in a world where men protect men, okay? Donald Trump protects all of his cronies. They protect the the people at Cornell that have anything to do with like all of the higher-ups at Cornell, you know?
Yeah. Like the [clears throat] dean and all of those people, they're protected by somebody, some man that's higher than them. we might have a Luigi Mangione on our hands with that dean of [ __ ] Cornell.
Yeah. Um but Mom, this isn't just these guys at Cornell and it's also not just Trump and the people in in his immediate sphere. It echoes through every layer of the government. You have ICE agents sexually assaulting detainees on a [ __ ] daily basis at this point. Those stories are everywhere, always. You I showed you that video on one of our Wednesday episodes of an ICE a guy taking a woman into a porta-potty. Like it exists because they know there's no repercussion because the president has had no repercussion.
So they understand that they are part of the system that he has created that is meant to instill fear and compliance into the general population in every aspect that it can be, including women being subservient to men. It's part of the whole Erica project
Project 2025. tradwives. They overturned Roe v. Wade, so we have no choice anymore. Has he made a statement on this yet? On the Cornell 7, I wonder.
No. I don't believe so. Not a single [ __ ] word. What can he say? Wish I was in that group chat. Oh my god.
What would he say? Chad. Yeah, really. Mom, he [ __ ] said what he said when he came onto the scene in that Access Hollywood tape. He is one of these guys. He's just like them.
I bet he said something about it. Oh god. I I don't know. Not that I've been able to see. But whatever he says isn't what he means, obviously. If he puts out a public statement, it's going to be I hope there's accountability, blah blah blah, letter of the law, blah blah blah.
It's like I know you don't want to blame Trump and his cabinet, but you like Pete Hegseth's religious advisor, okay? Like the head of his church that he goes to. There are clips of this man reducing women to just vessels to give birth. You know, that we belong pregnant in the kitchen. That we should not have jobs. That we shouldn't even be allowed to vote.
Have you seen any of these clips? No. And part of Project 2025 is literally to uh eliminate our ability to work or go to school. They literally want us to just have children. Because that's what we are in their eyes. They just cut funding for uh student loans for all of like the female-dominated fields. Cosmetology, um early childhood education, nursing. They just said like it just happened that you can no longer get student loans to do those things. Why do you think that is? In the female-dominated fields.
Why do you think that is? They don't want us to be educated and have jobs. And that's why you have men raping a woman for 7 hours because you're not worth [ __ ]
I just looked. He has made no statement. Right. Okay. So, does that make you sick? That the president of the United States has issued no [ __ ] statement on one of the most atrocious things that's happened right now?
Yes. Cuz he's a rapist. He don't give a [ __ ] And what can he say? That it's terrible? But he doesn't believe it is.
If he thought it was terrible, we'd have names from the Epstein files. We'd be going after these predators. Maybe by our Sunday episode, he will make a statement.
But Mom, whatever the statement is is meaningless. Think of all the other statements he's already made. The Access Hollywood tape. That I just gave you a laundry list. When he's like shit-talking all these women and telling them they need to smile more and quiet piggy. He doesn't respect He cheated on his [ __ ] pregnant wife.
I know. With Stormy Daniels. That's proven fact. You know what I mean? he paid her to shut up about it. What a good president would do is say, "We're going to make sure that the right people are prosecuted. We're going to [ __ ] find justice for Jane Doe." That's what a real president would do, but he said nothing.
What if he comes out and does say that? We'll see. He won't. you, even if he does, it doesn't matter. That is a PR statement. It's not what he actually thinks or feels.
All right. Let me digest. How long do you need to digest? I don't know. You started my Wednesday this on Sunday again. Huh?
You started my Wednesday morning off not the best. We We didn't do any of this [ __ ] We're just talking to you about it.
I'm fine. Okay. No, I I want you to feel it. Like this is how I do. This is how I wake up every day. Like a new news story of just like Jesus Christ. You should feel that way. You should not be ignoring these stories. You should really [ __ ] marinate in it. Think about this [ __ ]
I will. All right. Well, digest and then on Sunday we're going to ask you how the digestion went. Okay. All right. Well, thank you for joining us. This is obviously very sensitive subject, um but I thought one that deserved a conversation between us because I do think Mom, this is like a it's an integral part of why Trump is president and it's an integral part of why it just it's a snake eating its own tail at this point.
You have a pedophile rapist as the president and so pedophiles and rapists are going to do their [ __ ] because they know there is no repercussion. And it just is a self-perpetuating cycle until some piece of it is broken and that break has to be Trump.
Just in one week alone, we got the Cornell seven story broke. There was like an LSU student who raped a woman and they basically gave him a slap on the wrist.
I didn't see that one. Jeez. Um another I think teenager stabbed a girl 10 times because she didn't want to go out on a date with him. That all happened in the span of one week. In my town, in the town that I live in. Um in the news a week ago, a dad shot his wife and 27-year-old son and then killed himself. So like the violence against women is literally daily.
And we have a president telling you that it's okay to grab women by the [ __ ] and that definitely has something to do with everything that's going on in the world today. Men have been emboldened. Shitty men have been emboldened to do shitty things. And it's the same with racism. Like, you know, white nationalism exists. Like, we're living in a really racist [ __ ] time frame right now because Donald Trump is a white nationalist.
And so you have all of these people who are now emboldened to do things like hang black people in Mississippi, kill black kids, and get away with it. It does start at the tippy top.
Did Did you see that video that came out this week of the cop shooting the black guy at a just routine traffic stop?
No. He gets this guy out of his car, pushes him up against it. He's The guy is not resisting. And then the cop punches him in the face and he kind of reacts. He gets the cop in a headlock. The cop backs up, takes out his gun, just [ __ ]
Jesus. puts like six or seven bullets in him dead on the scene. That's the world we're living in and it is because, again, this cop will probably have no repercussions.
Exactly. And ICE like just out here murdering immigrants. And most of them are people who have brown skin. Like, racism is [ __ ] alive and well and Donald Trump perpetuates this problem with all of his [ __ ] goons in office. It is It is literally why we have The world is on fire right now. The leadership in this country is piss-poor. It's like bottom of the barrel.
And so you're seeing all this crime and all these people being raped and murdered and it really begins with all eyes on this president. Huh. What a Wednesday.
Yeah, exactly. What a Wednesday. Huh? Love you, Haley. Love you, Chad. All right. I love you both as well. Love you, Haley. Thank you for doing this. I know Wednesdays are difficult for you. Mom, I love you.
Chad. Thank you for sitting through this conversation with us. I know it wasn't easy. I can see that it has affected you, but please actually do digest it. I know a lot of times on this show you're like, let me do my research, let me go think about this, and then you never do.
Do that. With this one, please do it. Research it. Look up Look up all of the black people that have died in It's Jackson County, Mississippi, I think. I think there's five or six black people that have literally been found hanging from trees, and they're saying that it was suicide.
Or like the No One Wells case is another good example. Like all evidence is he was murdered. Murdered. I've been following that one, yeah.
No charges. Like that shit's [ __ ] insane. Yeah. All right. Well, that wraps up this Wednesday episode. A lot to think about, Mom. Please do. We will be back Sunday, and I am going to ask you if you came to any conclusions or how these past couple of days have been as you've been uh sitting and thinking about this. All right.
And don't look at Fox News, and don't look at Newsmax. Look at real news. Okay. And do your research. even it's it's difficult to spin this one. I think even Fox News and Newsmax might be fine here. There's really only one side of this story, in my opinion.
Yeah. Um All right. Thank you, everybody, for joining us. We will see you on Sunday. Bye.
