Um, but I think that the because the baby was involved and was killed, I think my mom is like, you know, she kind of has to take the stance that like this was bad what they did, which means cops shouldn't shoot into cars, even though she said the exact opposite thing when all the the Renee Good story was breaking. material atheist to whatever you are now? If you had to label yourself now, what would it be? If I had to label myself now, I don't even know. Just a guy walking around trying to do weird [ __ ] I guess. I don't know. I don't I don't have like a a formal belief system, I guess. I don't know that a label would be attached to it. I'm curious about the fundamental nature of reality specifically where consciousness is involved or where it intersects with whatever we believe reality to be. Um, I don't think anybody has the answers exactly, but I think a lot of people are doing some interesting

[ __ ] trying to get those answers or get closer to them. Why did I go from a material atheist to whatever I am now? Really, strangely, it was like material science that got me to this place. There's a lot of like very recent um work being done in in quantum theory and quantum science especially with like entanglement and stuff that effectively points us in the direction that spacetime does not actually exist. And so once you get to that point and you're like whoa this is crazy like a bunch of these highle theoretical scientists are essentially saying that this [ __ ] is not

real. And so it kind of leads you down a path of of wondering like why I guess and I just read a lot about it. And then I started doing some some weird meditations and stuff and having some of my own weird consciousness experiences. And uh it just seems there are so many um recorded instances, events, experiences that people, human beings have had throughout history that just simply cannot be explained by material science. like literally not capable of explaining it. The most basic of which is the human conscious experience like what does a strawberry taste like?

Tell me that scientifically that is an internal conscious experience that we all experience differently etc etc or even dreams like we spend a third of our lives asleep in these these other realms of consciousness and then we wake up and material science is like well that was nothing that was just your brain firing [ __ ] off trying to make sense of the day and it's like I don't know about that bro it just seems like anything that material science can't completely describe it uh throws it by the wayside and says well that's outside the models So, it can't be real or can't be important. And

I just stopped believing that. Um, when you look at these things on a kind of basic level, especially dreams, like I said, or out-of- body experiences or near-death experiences or any of these things that people have been recording having these experiences since the dawn of the written word, um, it just seems like there's a lot that science doesn't cover. And material atheism to me is kind of a it's a byproduct of a full adherence to material science. And I just don't have that anymore. I think there's, like I said, a lot of reality, a lot of the fundamental experience of being a human being or anything on this

planet, being an object on this planet that just cannot be described yet by science. Cider report. Um, if you can't get Kyle from Secular Talk on, definitely talk to Jovin Bradley. I'm not sure who both of you is. Do you mean me and my mom or me and my sister? Um, for me, I think it's probably all along those same kind of things I was talking about kind of metaphysical beliefs. I I don't know if it was five years. It was about seven years ago when I was going through like the worst parts of cancer treatment and I had my first sleep paralysis experience and like kind of half awake in my bed just saw a room full of these kind of demonic creatures staring at me and I was like, whoa, who are you? And

that kind of started leading me down the path to research sleep paralysis and blah blah blah blah blah. And it definitely, like I said, it changed my uh belief or understanding about what I again this is just what I believe, you know. Um and I don't even know that it's it's belief. It's more like curiosity that there I just am pretty convinced at this point that there are things operating here in reality that we don't know anything about or very little about. and certainly have not given given it um any credible scientific research where human consciousness is concerned where you know astral projection entities [ __ ] like that. So I

think for me that's that's something that has changed in roughly five years. Um for my sister or my mom, I don't know. Nicholas Chapus, I think 5296. Name of today's episode. One step forward, four steps back. I know my mom is is like kind of backsliding a little bit, but you know, I still think overall we've made a lot of progress. And as I've said before, I don't think that it's it's going to all happen like at once and oh, we finally got her. I think this is just kind of um the nature of the beast. You know, we got to keep at it and we have to allow

her these backslides a little bit. If where we're going ultimately is where I hope we're going and where I think we're going, then you know, this is just part of the the progress, part of the journey. The one from none. Can you ask Mary Lou what comes out first? the rest of the files or the Egene Carroll video that obsolescence that obsolescence Trump for his crimes.

I'm not sure what that means. Um that obsolescence trump for his crimes. I'm not sure what that exactly means. I think you're asking the rest of the files or the Eugene Carol Carroll video that exonerates maybe Trump for his crimes or something. I'm not exactly sure what you're asking here, but yes, I I mean I personally think, by the way, if what you're talking about is an EG Carol video that shows her basically like accepting money from the Democrats, I don't think that video exists. My mom has been lied to by whoever told her that. I do think the rest of the files

are going to come out, just probably not during Trump's presidency. I think as soon as he's out of office, that'll be like one of the big things that whoever the next president does, assuming that president is a um Democrat or at least non-magga Republican. Even a non-Maga Republican though, I bet they won't because the Republican party doesn't want to they don't want to like tarnish themselves and Trump is their party now.

And I think that that attitude will carry over for a minute. If it is another Republican who wins after Trump, I think they will tow the line and they probably won't want to even touch the Epstein files, especially if it's like JD Vance or something. Um, God, I can't imagine he wins though. Steven English 198. Mary Lou is upset Obama subcontractors not paid. Trump has had numerous lawsuits for non-payment to construction workers over his career and had 253 subcontractors not paid at his Taj Mahal in 1990. I that was on the tip of my tongue and then for some reason the conversation diverted. Um but I

remember reading all that too that he's like notorious for not paying people after they do work. Jason Allen 5886 Chad get a pen and paper write this down. If Michelle is a man because she isn't suing, is pervert Hoover guilty because he hasn't sued anybody over the J file. What? Who's Pervert Hoover? I'm glad that we're helping in whatever capacity we can and I hope you know, however that relationship is working out for you with your parents, I hope it's getting better or look, I'll say this too, we are coming to the end of MAGA. I I do firmly believe that MAGA after Trump dies, which feels like it could be any moment, I think it it just starts to dissipate. I can't imagine another Republican's going to have that hold over people. So, for what it's worth, I think Trump will die soon and you may get your parents back. I hope. Fingers crossed.

It's like I've shown her footage of them smashing the windows and especially there's that one footage of the cop that's getting like pressed in the doorway. Um, that to me is like one of the most horrific things. It looks like that dude's about to die, but she's seen it all. It doesn't stick.

Despite the public surrounding their association, official legal files. All right. So, he was in a picture with with um Epstein. Yeah, I'm not down with that. Obviously, that's uh it's bad. If you were with Epstein in any capacity, I think it's probably pretty bad, but um I don't know. You can call it hypocritical if you want. I do like his music. I do think he was foundational in pop culture and music and all of that kind of stuff.

Um and the Survivors stuff, I don't know. It's It's hard to say what to believe. I believed it when it first came out. Then there was enough evidence presented that I was like kind of questioning it. Now I don't really know where I stand. And he's dead. Um, you know, I don't know. Is it cultish? I don't think it's cultish. I don't own any Michael Jackson uh cologne or sneakers. And nor do I say that he could do no wrong if he's in this photo with Epstein and if he did all this terrible [ __ ] Obviously, that's bad. I denounce it. Hunt and Farm. Um, oops. Can you

with the factchecking and the maybe like a share screen or something. I I will try to figure out how to do this. Um, I'll try to figure out how to do that because I agree that I I think that would um it would make it potentially like easier to refute her the like nonsensical things she's saying at like a quicker pace. And I'm curious how that would affect her um her kind of like logical defense mechanisms anytime we're in one of these conversations and she's like deflects or says some [ __ ] lie or what. Not even a lie from her, but like a lie that's been told to

her that she's parenting back. I uh I'll I'll see what I can do about these things. Deer's gone wild. Anyone can be a dad, but it takes someone special to be a daddy. What's the difference? When she said that today, I was like, "What the [ __ ] is she talking about?" I have no idea what is the difference or what she even meant. Giant movie nerd TM Chad, I agree that Disclosure Day is not great. I don't know what the [ __ ] happened to Spielberg. He's the reason I want to direct movies and he makes this [ __ ] He's old. That dude's 80. He's

like Trump's age roughly. I I think very few people, especially people who have been like at the top of a game like that for so long, like nobody's telling him no. Nobody's giving him notes on a script. They're just doing what they want to do. And there was a shot in the movie um that really was indicative to me of like he's lost it as a director.

It's when the this is a minor spoiler. If you haven't seen Disclosure Day and you're planning on it, this is a very minor spoiler. Give me 30 seconds on it. It doesn't really spoil much. Um in fact, I can present this spoiler-free. There is a shot where a character is looking at a a laptop computer screen. The shot starts behind the computer screen. So like if I was the character, the camera would be here pointing this way at me. And you would basically see like here Oops, I just lost my feed.

My camera became unplugged when I did that. Hang on. Getting the camera back online. Hang on. Okay. And I'm back. So, it turns out I cannot move my laptop to illustrate this. My apologies. But basically, the camera would be here shooting this way, and I would have a laptop screen in front of me. And you would see the back of the laptop. The camera would start here. The camera then comes up and goes over the laptop behind this character's head.

It's now upside down. And then it turns right side up and shoots over the shoulder to the laptop screen so that you see what's on the screen. Completely unnecessary. It adds nothing to the presentation of the information on that screen. It It's just in there. It's just like some weird camera move that he's just like, "Yeah, why don't we do this? Have the camera come over and flip around." But it's like meaningless.

It's just something that he can do, you know? Um I don't know. I just think he's like he's directed so many great movies and he spent such an amazing amount of years doing this and really shaping modern cinema. He's one of the most important artists ever in the history of humanity in my opinion. Uh, and it just like he's lost his touch. The movies, it doesn't feel like the movies he's making like he even really cares about them anymore. That's what it felt like to me.

That's what I got out of it, you know. Um, but by all means, if you're if you're curious or you like Spielberg or you like Aliens or you like any of that [ __ ] go check out Disclosure Day. It is worth seeing, I think. Um, just in terms of like it's kind of this weird perfect confluence in my opinion of Stephen Spielberg being like old enough at this point that he's lost it and also a kind of like just shitty lowest con common denominator presentation of the UFO phenomenon. That really was the most disappointing piece of it to me. The level of information that's in the movie

about UFOs and aliens is like you can get it from watching one episode of Joe Rogan. And it didn't go beyond that. In fact, it didn't even meet that threshold. It was just kind of like general dumb [ __ ] that that if you pay attention to UFOs for 10 minutes, you kind of know it all already. And his presentation of it, like it was just bad. It was bad. The treatment of the sci-fi elements were bad. It was just bad. I thought anyway sorry that's what I thought enjoy it if you can bunkertons regarding dreams and reality my cousin passed away recently in the night of her

death I dreamt she was visiting and kept saying she had to go freaky see this is what I'm talking about and plenty of people have experiences like this my mom had an experience like this with um she used to coach high school tennis and on prom night two of the tennis players that were on her team or a bunch of them I think actually got into a car accident and one of them died and appeared to her at the foot of her bed in a dream. So, these kinds of experiences have been happening to human beings since literally the dawn of recorded history.

Some of the the first um accounts of stuff like this, you know, are in religious books of all kinds of [ __ ] like this. I I just think it's it's too ubiquitous for us as a species to just be like, "Ah, [ __ ] it. It's just a dream. [ __ ] you. Meaningless." But then why is it happening all the time? You know, I I feel like I have been again, at least in the last five to seven years, extremely open-minded and uh have definitely retreated from the idea of hardcore atheism. I would say if anything now, I don't even really know if I'm agnostic.

I feel like there is some weird [ __ ] happening. Again, inexplicable by modern scientific standards. You can call it spiritual if you want. Um, I don't really know what to call it, but I think there's some weird [ __ ] going on here. So, I would say I don't know that I am stuck in my ways, at least in that capacity. Maybe I was wrong about that prior statement. Hey, Dentic or Yes.

She's made so much progress despite the logic roadblocks. Be proud. Yes, I agree. Um, and I know my dad's influence on her is like I think personally one of the primary things that is keeping her kind of like locked in MAGA and as he's not on the show now, he's not there to kind of like box her in. I think that's very helpful in letting her have these conversations and kind of think a little bit more

about them. Um, and I agree with you. I think since the beginning of the show, she's much less confrontational with me and Haley. And she does sometimes say like, "You guys are teaming up on me or whatever. You're beating up on me." And I think she does still view it in a very adversarial way that it's like me and my sister are on a team and so we've got two people against her one. So we have some kind of like, you know, competitive advantage in these these conversations we're having. I don't see it that way.

Um, but yeah, I think she has progressed quite a long way. And again, there are these backst steps. She's she's in some kind of like pattern now where she's backsliding a little bit. Of course, today, use that slur, but I still think she's better than where she was when we started this show. Jess 113, do you think that your mom's resistance to disavow Trump is partially because she doesn't want to admit you and Haley are right?

No. I I don't think No, I don't think that has anything to do with it. I think it is more about a a relinquishing of a major piece of her identity that has been that way for over a decade now. That's a hard thing for anybody to do at any point in life with any piece of ideology. You know, ask anybody who was like in a hardcore like evangelical Christian cult or something. How long did it take them to be like, "Whoa, this is actually crazy." Or any cult for that matter. I don't think these are easy things to do psychologically for anyone.

Um, and I don't think it has anything to do with her wanting to like or or being unable to view me and Haley as being quote right and her being quote wrong. I think the resistance is really just about a a kind of fundamental human nature thing, which is like how do you how do you drop a significant part of your identity and just be like, well, I don't believe that anymore. You know, I think that's a tough thing to do.

Horde guy. During Biden's administration, Republicans wrote a bill to solve the border issue. Democrats voted in favor, but Trump told Republicans to vote down their own bill so it would be a campaign issue. I [ __ ] remember that. Um, yeah, Trump's a piece of [ __ ] and to him it's all this weird political game, but it seems like that game is is falling apart by the second. I was watching a little bit of news after we shot today with um, you know, JD Vance going to negotiate these deals and they're just all falling apart. It's all falling apart. There was that thing, this

narrowly missed the um, the list today. the Italian prime minister who is also like conservative right-wing, him and her got into this like kind of arguing match online where he was like she was asking she was begging me to take a selfie with her and then she comes back and she's like no dude [ __ ] you that never happened. So even these other countries that are kind of like ideologic or these other leaders, sorry, of these other countries that are kind of ideologically aligned with Trump are now [ __ ] on him. Nobody is doing what he wants. He can't get this deal

actors, but all of the backgrounds are going to be AI generated. I'm very curious to see what that movie looks like. I don't know if the movie's good. I don't know what the script is or anything, but I'm curious to see what it looks like. Um, there are in every area of the the film or entertainment industry for things like color correction, for things like um any kind of like futing with the image. Now, that's all AI. So, it's again, it's like if you're watching anything on TV that's going to be made from like this year forward, AI will be in it whether you

see it or not. Um, I think 2027 is going to be a massive year for AI in terms of its like acceptance. I think the stigma that it has is either going to have to be overcome or ignored because again, we're all using products whether you like it or not that has AI in it. The amount of money that like Google, Apple, Meta are spending on AI development. If you're using their product, you are supporting that period. I could hear a loud like which I have read are kind of the final stages right before you disconnect and get out of your body. And I think for a split second I even saw my bedroom um in a kind of like astral projection way and then I woke up. So I don't think that I got the full experience, but I'm getting so [ __ ] close. Uh but yeah, this this dream that you had, you know, is it a

dream? What the [ __ ] even is a dream? It's like when you're in a dream, your the emotional experiences you're having are just as real, if not in some cases more real than in your waking life. Like when you wake up from a dream that has had like a drastic emotional impact, that emotion can stick with you for all through the day, sometimes a couple. So does that mean that emotion is completely invalid that you are feeling like literally experiencing it? You have to just write that off. Ah, [ __ ] it. It was a dream, so it's meaningless. It makes no sense to me if the feeling is

the exact same or or potentially like I said even more engaged than than you would have in your waking life. Bunkerton's regarding my cousin passing. I'm the only one. The weirdest part is that the dream turned lucid and I kept her there for a bit to say bye, then she left. This is what I'm saying. There's in the um at least in all the [ __ ] that I've read about astral projection, there's kind of like a I don't know how to describe this. A lot of the phrasing of it in some of the stuff that I've read is like mind awake, body asleep. And and that gets to like a kind of lucid dreaming phase where your body is complete like out like your body

is just like so relaxed but your brain is aware of of itself. You know, it's not like you're in a regular dream you don't know you're dreaming. But when you're in a lucid dream, you do. And so it's like you have your conscious mind there, but you're also dealing with this kind of weird dream world that is like obviously not the physical world that we live in. And so, um, that's fascinating, um, that you were able to go lucid and keep her there for a minute. Maybe it was her. I mean, look, there's another piece of this that again, like I was saying, like what brought I'm sorry,

this one turned into like a weird metaphysical conversation, but um, the thing that really brought me to all this initially was reading about stuff with quantum entanglement and how like two particles can have can share the exact same information across space and time and the transfer of that information is instantaneous. And so if that's the case and and you know whatever you want to say subatomic particles are, are they physical matter? Are they particles? Are they waves? Are they vibrations? I don't know. There there's arguments for all of those, I guess. But if we are existing in some kind of a world that is

fundamentally manufactured off the vibration of these subatomic particles or the reflection of them, if you will, a holographic universe, which is a term that has been thrown around a lot. If it is that, like doesn't it potentially stand to reason that whatever these particles are that are responsible for or perhaps even creating consciousness that they could exist in multiple places and times simultaneously. And so if somebody in quotes dies, if time isn't real, neither is death. Neither is anything that is measured by time.

Neither is life for that matter, you know. And so when you're dreaming of somebody who has died, it's possible that like they're not dead. That that that that's just them. That's always been them. And for a moment, they inhabited this physical body that is constrained by what we perceive time to be because that's what this experience is. And then you start going down, at least for me, a series of other rabbit holes. That's like well if consciousness is unencumbered by time but we are in this physical environment is this physical environment something like a video game where we have been given consciousness has been given constraint

uh for what purpose I don't know I think that's kind of an argument of first cause type thing that we may never know but it feels to me correct to say that time does not exist space does not exist except in this environment and this environment seems potentially artificial to me that's a long way of saying I'm glad you had to have a couple more minutes with your uh cousin.
